Sheep

Konban dododo!

Counting Sheep to sleep before awakening to the Good Morning Song

A Melody for You on this Sweet Night, Sweet Time

An Ode to an Eternal Future with her Everlasting Soul

A Rainbow, as small as it is, carries Her Song across the Holidays

Leading to the farm where she shepherds her flock of Wata-Mates and Member Sheep

The Tsunomaki Troupe, bards who follow her example and devote themselves to the harp

Fluffy, kind, emotional, gentle, calm, polite, warm, and friendly

She leads with courage and a heart of gold from the pot at the Rainbow's end

Albeit shy, though she welcomes the Tsunomaki Troupe's support whenever she needs it

Speaking only in bleats, so Netabare Mee Mee!

And in the medium of song through Watame no Uta, the Song Corner and Night Fever

A polymath in singing, gaming, playing, achieving trophies, eating, and sleeping

She leaps over heads into dreams of fluffy wool filled with potato chips and other snacks

Putting her passion for every song she sings and leads with into a perfection rarely found

But please forgive her mistakes even though Watame Wa Warukunai Yo Ne

Because Watame Did Nothing Wrong, so no apology is needed but is always forgiven

Since the Tsunomaki Troupe is an eternally loving family, Her Family

And will continue to love, cherish, protect, and dote on her for as long as she remains

Until she somehow dies, though fear not; she respawns in eight seconds after each death

Allowing her to perpetually live on and forever in hearts, souls, and memories of her family

Where she has a most special place imaginable and can sing for them to her heart's content

Here is another short birthday poem for another Hololive VTuber. This time, I wrote it for Tsunomaki Watame, everyone's favorite bardic sheep. Like Nene and Lamy (and as of late, Hoshimachi Suisei), Watame is one of the very few I enjoy watching on a daily basis. Of Hololive's Vtubers, she was the first to become my number one favorite. She was not actually the first of their Vtubers I watched though; I think Kiryu Coco was but I cannot remember. Regardless, I soon found Watame and quickly warmed to her since Watame is, to quote one of my stanzas, "fluffy, kind, emotional, gentle, calm, polite, warm, and friendly." Her personality and singing made her Hololive's first Vtuber to top my list of favorites and keep her spot on it. My opinions on which Hololive's Vtubers I like and prefer over others have changed a bit these past couple of years, though my belief in Watame remained constant throughout. It is why she is still one of my number one favorites alongside Lamy, Nene, and Suisei. Although, if pressed into deciding who my absolute favorite is among them, it is undoubtedly Watame.

Happy Birthday, Tsunomaki Watame! I wish you good cheer on this very special day and I thank you for being the first of Hololive's Vtubers to be my forever lead favorite! You have become my favorite singer not just in Hololive but among all the other bands I like and enjoy listening to, so I wrote this extra special poem to express my deep appreciation to you.
