Life is a mystery,

No one knows where people come from

That's why science was founded to find out about different things and it has helped us tremendously

What was once thought impossible can be done and what was previously unknown is now known

But there are things left to be found

For better or for worse

Let the story begin

The night sky was calm this night.

The light of the moon shied away behind the clouds, casting a shadow only lit by the torches of a nearby camp. Several people filled the camp, each one in front of the campfire.

Normally, this would be a happy occurrence, all except for an unlucky young man walking on a path

'... Why am I here? I have things to do... I needed to finish playing all my GBA games in my emulator but no... Some idiots decided to use me as a scapegoat for 'not helping,'" A young man thought as he held an empty bucket in hand.

Short dark hair danced with the breeze as he used a torchlight in his other hand to light the way. The night breeze was cool and the light of his torch revealed the bracelet made up of cords that he wore. A pair of pants with several pockets and a belt of the same type as his bracelet with a pouch connected to it and strapped on his right thigh.

Stopping by the river's edge, the young man set his electric torch down and gently filled the bucket with water. Smiling at the reflection of the night sky, disturbed by ripples, the young man gently reached in.

"Only if life was as simple as this..."

A flash of light caught his attention

Looking to the side, dark orbs widened as a beast of steel approached him.

'... fuck ...' the young man felt his body soar. Time slowed down as the young man's body skipped on the water before slowly sinking down.

Dark eyes tiredly opened as he looked at the moon.

'The moon really is beautiful... I just wish that I did something better before this...' Closing his eyes, the young man welcomed the sweet embrace of unconsciousness while sinking deeper into the river.

"Oh my... Still so young and full of potential." A mystical voice echoed as a figure formed at the river.

"This is much of a waste to let go... However... I see... that will work." The voice echoed once again as the figure wrapped its form around the young man. "Rejoice, for your desire will come true. As long as you reach for it."
