Hey guys! Here's something pretty different from me; a crossover between the Quintessential Quintuplets and Classroom of the Elite. Why have I chosen to mix these two? You'll find out as you read!

Disclaimer: I don't own The Quintessential Quintuplets or Classroom of the Elite.

"So annoying!"

The peaceful atmosphere of the woods was pierced by an angry voice which filled the air. One of trees wobbled slightly as a fist banged violently against its trunk. The started birds in its branches quickly flew off, not wanting to stick around with the hot-tempered human who was hitting their home in her frustration.

"Why did Horikita have to apply to the same high school as me?!" Kikyōu Kushisha's voice was filled with hatred as she vented out her intense annoyance. "Ever since that stuck-up snob ratted me out in middle school, I lost every single one of my friends there!"

Kushida's violet eyes narrowed as she thought back to the scandal she had caused back in her middle school. It had been Suzune Horikita who had reported her to the school authorities and caused her to lose every one of her friends. To this day, the corrupt young woman blamed the loss of her acquaintances on the withdrawn, reserved girl who had exposed her.

"Now I'm supposed to spend my three years in high school with Horikita?!" Kushida asked herself in disbelief, bitterly shaking her head. "How am I supposed to make a new start and new friends - if that bitch is gonna be there in my class?!"

Kushida hit the tree again, slamming her fist against it in all her pent-up resentment. She had no idea that someone was just walking into the wooded area where she was - to witness the huge outburst she was letting out.

"SO ANNOYING! SO GOD DAMN ANNOYING!"

"Um ... excuse me?"

Kushida froze upon hearing a soft voice speaking to her. Realising she was no longer alone, she turned to find out who had just come across her having her tantrum.

A girl was standing before her. She appeared to be around her own age and was a similar height. The stranger's orange hair was at the same length as Kushida's beige-coloured. She stared at her with wide blue eyes, a nervous smile on her face as the green ribbon she wore at the top of her head twitched.

"Who are you?" Kushida demanded. "What are you doing out here? Are you stalking me?"

"Stalking?" The stranger shook her head. "Oh no, I just happened to be camping out here with my sisters! I was gathering firewood when I heard you shouting! I just came to find out if you're alright?"

Kushida narrowed her eyes. She was suspicious of this girl, wondering if she had heard what she had screamed at the top of her lungs. If the stranger had picked up what had been on her mind, then she would have another problem along with Suzanne Horikita to deal with.

"Did you hear anything I said just now?"

"Not really..." the stranger admitted truthfully. "I could hear you shouting from where I was gathering the wood, but I didn't really catch what exactly what you were saying."

Kushida stared. It seemed this person was genuinely telling the truth. She decided to let her guard down, but didn't attempt to look any friendlier as she faced the stranger with a grumpy look.

"Who are you?" she asked again.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" A bright smile flashed onto the other girl's face. "I'm Yotsuba! Yotsuba Nakano!"

Upon hearing the witness to her tantrum introduced herself, Kushida couldn't help by notice how cheerful she sounded. Yotsuba had revealed her name in a high-pitched, peppy voice - a great contrast to the low sour tone the miserable figure spoke in.

"I'm Kikyōu Kushida."

"Nice to meet you, Kushida." Yotsuba's smile remained on her face as she respectfully addressed the other girl by her last name. "Though may I ask what's troubling you?"

"It's nothing, Nakano..." Kushida sulked bitterly. "Nothing you can help with ... Now go away!"

"Try me!" Yotsuba stood her ground and placed a hand against her chest. "I'm always ready to help someone in need. I refuse to leave until you tell me what's wrong!"

Kushida turned away with a sigh. It was clear she was not going to get rid of this ever-helpful, selfless girl. She rested her hand on the trunk of the tree. The wood had a few dents from where she had been pounding her fist earlier.

"It's just ... I can't make any friends..."

"You can't make friends?!" Yotsuba's ribbon pointed upwards as her face went white with dismay. "That's so sad!"

"Yeah... I'm starting high school at the end of summer break - and it's my goal to be friends with everyone in my class." Kushida closed her eyes. "But I don't know how I'm going to manage to do that with-"

"Well..." Yotsuba cut the other girl off before she could bring up Horikita. "Since you're starting an all new school, maybe you can make some all new friends - by being an all new you!"

"Huh?!" Kushida frowned over the confusing words Yotsuba had said in her high-pitched voice. "What d'you mean, Nakano?"

"Well, first off, if you wanna make new friends," Yotsuba advised, "you have to be friendly to others!"

"Be friendly to others?" Kushida repeated.

"Yeah! Don't go blowing off others like you tried to do to me just now! You won't make any friends by pushing people away!"

All while offering her helpful input, Yotsuba smiled as brightly as ever. She was certain she could help this pouty girl make some friends at her new school. The words of wisdom that came out of the orange-haired girl's lips were incredibly different to the scatterbrained things she came out with when around her four sisters.

"Also, you might scare people off if you go around scowling like that," she continued. "Your classmates will be more inclined to approach you if you smile!"

"Smile?" Kushida echoed.

"Yeah! Everyone loves a smile!" Yotsuba pointed to the corners of her upturned lips, wanting the other girl to do the same. "Let me see yours, Kushida!"

Willingly doing as she was asked, Kushida used her thumbs to stretch her mouth outwards. She pushed the two ends as far as she could until they were curved upwards. She pulled her thumbs away to point with them to the smile she had formed onto her own face.

"How's this, Nakano?"

"That's pretty good. You definitely have a nice smile, Kushida..." A sweat drop ran down the side of Yotsuba's head as she raised her hand to point higher up the other girl's face. "But others will only see how nice it is if you adjust your eyebrows a little. You don't want your classmates to look like you're plotting something evil against them!"

Realising she was smiling in a sinister way rather than a friendly fashion, Kushida placed her thumbs against her eyebrows. She pushed them up until they were no longer facing downwards. Her hands lowered to reveal that the smile on her face now looked wholesome instead of wicked.

"How about now?" she asked.

"That's wonderful!" Yotsuba squealed elatedly. "You really do look nice and friendly now, Kushida! Your classmates will find you easier to approach!"

Kushida held the forced look on her face. It was an expression she had very little experience putting on. She wasn't used to looking so bright and cheerful - as the inside of her was so dark and broody.

"So you're telling me as long as I go around my school looking like this," she murmured, "I should make friends?"

"Not quite. It's not enough to look nice and friendly, Kushida. You have to be nice a friendly!"

"Be?!" Kushida uttered the single word as if Yotsuba was giving her a lecture she would never carry out. "This is getting hard now, girl!"

"It's not hard at all!" Yotsuba smiled. "The more you treat people with kindness and sincerity, the more natural it'll come to you."

"Okay..." Kushida raised an eyebrow. "And how do I get started on doing that?"

"Simple! Treat other people the way you would like to be treated!" Yotsuba said. "Help and support them when they need it and invite them to do fun things with you! If you can offer all those things to your classmates, then they will give the same back to you and let you into their circle of friends!"

Kushida put a finger to her lips. She considered the suggestions Yotsuba was making to her. This girl seemed to know a lot about how to make and keep friends. If all she was telling her to do helped her to reach her goal in high school, not to mention would keep Horikita quiet about the scandal she caused back in middle school, then so be it.

"Okay then!" she nodded. "I'll do exactly everything you said!"

"Alright!" Yotsuba cheered elatedly. "Just you wait, Kushida! You'll have friends at high school in no time! Everyone in your class will want to hang out with you and see what a cool person you are deep down inside!"

Kushida smiled coyly. It was clear that Yotsuba had absolutely no idea what she was really like inside. Still, she was willing to take the chirpy girl's advice to be able to make new friends at her school. She was fully prepared to show kindness and consideration to her classmates. That didn't mean it had to be genuine...

"Hey, Yotsuba!" a voice called from somewhere within the woods. "Where are you?!"

"Did you get lost?" a second voice added, much softer than the first.

Yotsuba's ears perked up, as did the ribbon on her head. She turned away from Kushida to shout back in the direction the voices had come from.

"I'm right here!" she called. "Sorry for taking so long, guys! I just had to do something!"

"Well hurry up and get back here!" A third voice huffed. "The sooner you get here with that firewood, the sooner I can start cooking dinner!"

"I actually haven't gathered any firewood yet!"

"Oh, get a move on, Yotsuba!" A fourth voice yelled back with an inpatient groan. "I'm hungry! I gotta eat something now!"

Yotsuba chuckled and turned her attention back to the other girl. Kushida was staring at her, having forgotten her kind helper was not all alone in the woods.

"I'm sorry, Kushida, I have to head off," the orange-girl said apologetically. "I'd better not keep my sisters waiting any longer!"

"Alright then, I understand." Kushida nodded. "See ya, Nakano!"

"Yeah! Bye, Kushida - and good luck with making friends in your high school! I know you can do it! I'm rooting for you!"

Yotsuba smiled and waved towards the person she had been assisting and supporting. Then she turned and left Kushida behind to run off into the woods. The orange-haired girl worked quickly to gather some fallen wood from the ground to take back to her campsite - where her four siblings would be waiting for her, all of whom born at the same time as her.

Now all by herself again, Kushida looked down at her hands. She thought about all the advice the other girl had given her to help her to reach her goal. Her classmates at her high school would be her friend provided she showed them generosity and decency.

That girl clearly knew what she's talking about, Kushida thought. She had a really solid solution to my problem. This Yotsuba Nakano must be really smart!

"Okay then! I'm gonna be friends with every single one of my classmates!"

With her hands clutched into fists with determination, Kushida began to head out of the woods. She was wearing the smile she had been trained to show, intending to wear it at school for the benefits of her classmates. The words she had just let off came out in a voice that sounded eerily very much like the girl who had been helping her.

Kikyōu Kushida had decided that in order to befriend every one of her future classmates, she was going to have to behave like Yotsuba Nakano.

Regardless of how much she acted and even sounded like her, the manipulative dark-hearted girl wasn't anything at all like the hyperactive, innocent airhead.

So that's the story! So why did I decided to mix the Quintessential Quintuplets with Classroom of the Elite, you ask? Well, when I first watched the latter, I felt that Kushieda's English voice was very similar to Yotsuba's! I even thought for a long time they were dubbed by the same actress! :P

So I decided to write a story to showcase how despite them sounding similar, they are nothing alike. In my headcanon, Kushida learnt the voice she puts on when she goes into her fake act of kindness by imitating Yotsuba! XD

Well, thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed this unusual meeting between these two very different characters!
