(Archian Isle; Castle)

Astrid stood there, completely stunned to learn Bolverk had returned to Outcast Island. Astrid didn't want to believe it, but she knew her friends wouldn't lie. The ring was proof enough, even without reading Bolverk's note. Finding her strength to snap out of things, Astrid took the note and quickly read it over.

"Astrid,
If you're reading this, I've already left Archian Isle and returned to Outcast Island. Last night made me realize that I can't be at your side because I can't be what you need or deserve. I'm not some royal, I'm an outcast. It's what I was born as and while I don't want to be evil, I also can't stop being who I've always been and always will be. I'm sorry.
-Bolverk."

She had read it aloud and still couldn't quite believe it. "H-He's really gone?" Astrid forced herself to ask.

"We checked the whole room, Astrid," Snotlout said.

"Bol's clothes are gone, so are Toothless and Sharpshot. Even…His father," Soren confirmed.

Astrid backed up from Heather, holding the ring in her hand, the note as well. "This is my fault…He was right, I should have discussed with him if he was ready for everything. He was under so much pressure to fit in, and I never even bothered to ask if he was okay with it all…" Astrid looked out her window, seeing Outcast Island across the ocean. "I have to go there…" She said quickly, looking at them to see their surprised faces. "I need to go to Outcast Island, talk to him…Beg him to come home and for his forgiveness,"

"Astrid, are you crazy…?" Ruffnut stared in shock.

"Because we like crazy," Tuffnut grinned. Fishlegs sighed and shook his head as Snotlout face-palmed.

"Astrid, you're the queen…You can't just go there," Fishlegs informed.

"I have to fix this!" Astrid glared.

"Astrid, Outcast Island is nothing like here. It's cold, dark, crawling with villains…You have to know how find your way around undetected…" Olivia paused.

"You have to take one of us with you," Heather cut in.

"Yes, please? I mean…Are you…Okay with that?" Astrid inquired quickly.

Heather nodded softly, looking out the window. "Bol's my best friend…Like a brother to me," She sighed. "Okay, we'll need make a plan to get there and get out as fast as possible. Eret, Soren, and Olivia will come too because there is strength in numbers and none of us are really liked over there right now because of switching sides…" Heather took a breath, facing Astrid again.

"Got it." Olivia, Soren, and Eret nodded.

"What about us?" Snotlout asked.

"You stay and cover for why we're gone if anyone asks…" Eret informed.

"Tell them Heather and I are doing final dresses. Astrid and Bolverk are talking things out, and…I don't know for you two," Olivia shrugged at Eret and Soren.

"Training," Soren and Eret stated together.

"Okay…But two things," Heather looked at Astrid as she nodded for Heather to continue. "One, you have to promise that we won't get stuck there again," Heather said.

"I swear it," Astrid reassured.

"And two, you are not going looking like that," Olivia crossed her arms over one another as Astrid blinked a bit before Heather and Olivia shifted to lead her out of the room and then carefully make their way out of the castle to get back to the school and prepare to make and carry out a plan to get Bolverk back on Archian Isle.

=Bolverk's POV=
(4:30 pm)
(Outcast Island)

I woke up around 4:00 pm, washed up a bit, and started eating one of the sandwiches I made before leaving. I fed my dad, Sharpshot, and Toothless before figuring out what I should do next. I'm gonna have to survive here, I wouldn't be able to stay hidden forever. I wasn't evil anymore, but I knew when it came down to surviving, good and bad didn't matter.

"Guess we're gonna have to grab some stuff," I gave in as I got up. "You three stay here. I won't be long, and try not to fight. We're attempting to keep a low profile until I regain some traction as someone not to mess with," Once I got a nod from Toothless, Sharpshot, and my dad, I grabbed my satchel, slid it over my head and let the strap rest on my shoulder. I knew my dad wouldn't do anything crazy, and he'd keep Toothless and Sharpshot from following me. I'm sure they could understand one another, and I had explained to my two dragons that Outcast Island was a dangerous place and I didn't want them hurt, so they needed to listen and stay put.

Getting myself set, I headed out of the hideout and began making my way through the paths and streets to get what I needed. All this time away hasn't made me forget how to survive here. I wandered around for a while, getting what I needed for the hideout. It was probably about 5:30 pm now and I should get back for the night. I was pretty hidden from anyone realizing who I was. What I didn't expect was to see Gala Vinter, I know she's Eret's half-sister strolling up to steal things while shop keepers had their backs turned, or straight up taking their money. I should just keep moving along, I know that Gala was Dagur Berserk's second hand and Dagur is Heather's older brother. Another one of his gang was Oivind Ogglebert, Olivia's twin brother. When I'd been here before, my friends and I were the top gang and ran the island. It would seem in our absence, Dagur has taken over.

Dagur and I used to be friends, like brothers, but we were always picking on one another and a prank I pulled ended badly with him laughed at by everyone and we became enemies. I still had the pull as the worst villain but seems things have changed and despite no one forgetting what happened, he has made himself the person not to mess with. I felt bad, it had been an accident, but he said he'd never let it go and to watch my back. Unfortunately, with me back on Outcast Island now, I'm gonna have to re-establish myself to survive here and might as well start easy. Gala also happens to be my ex, and after we broke up, she went after Dagur, so that caused problems between us too.

Folding my arms over one another, I moved into sight as Gala was forcing someone to hand over the money they made. "Get to keep any of what you take, or does it all go to his craziness?" I remarked before Gala twirled around cheerfully to see me.

"Well, well…Look who is back?" Gala giggled.

"Hi, Gala," I said.

"Just wait until Dagur hears you're back…He's never gonna step down and give you back what you gave up," Gala smiled.

"Oh, well that's fine…" I smirked. "Because I plan on making him and taking it," I informed.

"You can't beat him," Gala huffed.

"No, you can't beat me. Go ahead, tell everyone that Bolverk Bludvist, son of Drago Bludvist has returned to Outcast Island," I invited as the area fell silent, whispers beginning to circulate about what I said.

"I can hurt you, Bol…" Gala quickly flashed a dagger and playfully dragged it along my cheek.

I scoffed, grinning as I grabbed her wrist and flipped the dagger into my hand, then set it at her neck. "I think not," I remarked as my eyes narrowed. "Don't believe for a second that just because you've joined him that it has changed what is and you're suddenly stronger than me, Gala," She tried to be firm before I pushed her down more and her knees buckled and I saw the strong front shatter. I moved the dagger and released her to stand once more and she rubbed her wrist with somewhat of a pout. "Get lost," I tossed the dagger at her feet and walked off with a somewhat dark chuckle while everyone else just moved out of my way, still in shock and maybe fear. "Good…Just the way I like it," I smirked continuing forward to my hideout.

(8:00 pm)
(Archian Isle)

It took all day to plan and prepare, but finally, the four outcast friends and Astrid were in the parking garage of the school to use one of the cars that drive over the bridge to Outcast Island and move through the barrier. Eret would be driving it as he took an interest in driving and had been studying how to operate the vehicle. The outcasts were back in their older clothes to be back on Outcast Island, and Astrid had also been set up in an outfit so that she would blend in.

"Okay, the plan is to get there, hide the car, and find Bolverk," Soren asked.

"Yes, and then Astrid will go talk to him and hopefully we get right back to the car and off Outcast Island before anyone realizes we're there," Olivia nodded.

"What happens if he doesn't forgive me?" Astrid looked down.

"Then we have no choice but to accept it and come back…" Heather sighed. "But we're sure that everything is going to be just fine," She reassured.

"Can I come?" Asked a female voice as they all looked to see Flare, Soren's Terrible Terror.

"No, it's too dangerous, Flare. You stay right here and we'll be back soon, and don't say anything to anyone!" Soren said firmly as Flare nodded and flew off. Soren saw Heather, Olivia, and Astrid staring in surprise. Eret already knew. "It's a long story, let's go!" He mumbled. Not wanting to waste time, Astrid and the four outcasts loaded into the car and headed out for the bridge to get to Outcast Island.

(8:30 pm)
(Outcast Island)

Arriving at Outcast Island, Eret took the car right to the hiding place and covered it for good measure. Astrid was out and looking around, finding a tunnel to go peer into.

"What's down here?" Astrid asked curiously.

The four friends quickly pulled her away and out of it. "Nothing good," Olivia informed.

"Okay, we need to stay quiet and out of sight as much as possible," Eret reminded.

"How are we going to find Bolverk?" Soren wondered. There was a pause among the four to think about it.

"Bol wouldn't go to headquarters," Olivia stated.

"And he wouldn't attract attention to himself," Soren pointed out.

"That leaves the hideout," Eret remarked.

"Right. Best place to hide, and only we know how to get inside it. Alright, let's go," Heather motioned for them to come quickly.

Even at such a late hour, Outcast Island was bustling with movement. The four outcasts knew how to act if seen, but they were finding it difficult to stay hidden because Astrid was ridiculously curious to everything having never been here before. After the fifth time of having to get Astrid to stay with them and not wander off, they pulled her into a quieter area and surrounded her.

"If you ever want to get to Bolverk and talk to him to fix things, you need to stop wandering off," Eret said firmly.

"This is not Archian Isle, Astrid," Olivia nodded.

"Around here, it's only watching your back and survive," Soren stated.

"Let me tell you something that you can really trust, everybody has a wicked side. I know you think that you can never be like us…So watch and learn so you can get it right," Heather let Eret, Soren, and Olivia move in more as Astrid shrunk a bit under their hard stare.

"Rule one, stay with your group, and trust no one else." Eret crossed his arms.

"Rule two, watch your back, and always be ready for a fight," Olivia mentioned.

"Rule three, never forget rules one and two." Soren scoffed.

Heather moved in as the others shifted a few paces back. Heather stared at Astrid, towering over her a bit. "The key to surviving on this island is to be fearless, quick, and mean." She stepped back, holding up Astrid's wallet as Astrid's eyes widened and she snatched it back quickly.

"You gotta be cool, we can show you how," Olivia added.

"We can break the rules, let us show you now," Heather looked to Soren and Eret.

"You gotta drag your feet and creep around," Soren chuckled.

"Slide, be smooth, don't make a sound," Eret smirked, getting behind Astrid and coming around the other side as she jumped a bit.

"Don't smile, don't laugh," Soren added.

"You can steal and lie," Eret connected his hand with Soren's.

"Never use manners, stare, or cry," Heather stated.

"Be rude, crude, and don't give a care," Soren snickered.

"And if you want it, take it. If you can't take it, break it," Olivia grinned.

"If you care about your health, don't be yourself," Heather warned firmly. "Once you catch this feeling, you'll understand our meaning. Being a villain is all about chillin'," Astrid nodded to what they were saying, taking everything in, and watching how they did everything.

"You got this yet because we don't play," Eret scoffed.

"When you are here with us, you do things our way," Soren reminded.

"Being good and nice is such a bore, join us now and be rotten to the core!" The four leaned towards her.

"I'm giving it my best, guys and girls, but it's hard being what I'm not…" Astrid sighed.

"Well, for us to pull this off," Olivia remarked.

"You gotta be what you're not," Soren finished for Olivia. "Or you're gonna get us caught," He added.

"You gotta be bad, but we have to stay low-key," Eret nodded.

"You need to seriously not be yourself," Heather stated.

"Now, show us how bad you can be," Olivia smirked as the other three waited in anticipation.

"Like this?" Astrid held up Eret's wallet as his eyes widened, checking his back pocket. "And this?" Astrid grinned, revealing Olivia's necklace on her finger. "How about this?" She smirked, showing that she had Soren's phone and Heather's keys. "Yeah, I think I got it and I'm not gonna thank you either," Astrid huffed, folding her arms like theirs once they took their stuff back.

"Hey, I think we found the worst in you," Heather nodded in approval.

"Now, let's get going," Olivia stated. "We can't spend too much time here or the others will run out of excuses as to our absence," She offered.

"You realize that Bol is gonna flip his lid when he realizes that we're the ones who brought her here, right?" Soren informed.

Heather sighed and patted his shoulder. "Then let's hope Bolverk just thinks she came on her own and we followed her when we realized she found him gone!" Heather glared.

"Got it," The other four nodded.

In agreement, the five got moving silently to reach the hideout and then hopefully get out before they were discovered to be on Outcast Island. Soon, it was 9:00 pm and the small group of five teenagers were nearly to their destination when they saw a familiar face trotting along the path they were on. Well, familiar to the four outcasts.

"Hey, guys. Welcome back!" The male greeted as he noticed them and came closer. The four outcasts quickly moved to hide Astrid behind them. "Got sick of being good?"

"What do you want, Oivind?" Eret groaned.

"Free island. Oh, and Dagur has the crew out looking for Bolverk because he apparently threatened to attack Gala and promised to make Dagur step down to take back his territory," Oivind smiled, shrugging. "Have you seen him, by chance?"

"No, not at all," Soren replied.

"Aw, I figured you'd all be here together," Oivind pouted. "Oh well. So what are you doing here?"

"We're just here…Visiting our parents!" Heather informed quickly. "It's been so long and we hope they aren't too mad at us for what happened because that was kind of really all Bolverk's decision to send them back and fight his dad…" She lied.

"That's cool. You…Want me to tell Dagur you're here?" Oivind asked.

"No!" The group said instantly.

"I'm…Sure Dagur is busy running the island. No need to pull him away from his manhunt on Bolverk…" Olivia stated to him. "We're trying to keep a low profile, brother…So can you not say anything about seeing us?"

"Yeah, probably a good idea. Everyone hates you guys right now," Oivind nodded.

"We figured," Soren remarked.

"Well, alright. I gotta get back. Maybe we can hang out before you leave again?" Oivind hoped.

Olivia gave a small smile. "I'll try, but like we said…Low profile,"

"Okay! Have a fun visit!" Oivind started along the path again. The outcasts breathed out heavily in relief.

"Wait…Hold on," Astrid looked at them. "He's your brother?"

"Twins, actually. Fraternal. I was born about fifteen minutes before him…So yeah…" Olivia muttered.

"Can we trust him not to tell Dagur we're here?" Eret inquired.

"Yeah…We'll be fine. Oivind might be part of Dagur's group, but we're still siblings. That means more to him," Olivia nodded.

"Would he go against Dagur to protect you?" Soren questioned.

"I don't know…And I really rather not have him in such a position to choose…" Olivia sighed. "I know Oivind has a hard exterior, but you saw him…He's a cheerful, mostly harmless individual,"

"If only we could all have family members like that…" Heather rolled her eyes.

"Astrid, if you ever feel like bringing more outcasts over to give them a chance…Can my brother be one of them? I know he does bad now, but like we told you…That's all outcasts really know how to do here, to survive." Olivia asked.

"I'll do whatever I can when we get back to Archian Isle…I promise," Astrid nodded. "Now, let's go!" The group quickly hurried off, not realizing that Oivind had been listening to their conversation from the shadows.

"Ooh, wait until Dagur hears this!" Oivind shot down the path to report what he'd found.
