A/N: AU where the clones do not have enhanced aging, and the Jedi knew the clone army was being created. All characters in this story belong to Disney! (Oh yes, and Rex's age gap with Ahsoka is expanded from 4 years to 7 years!)

Rex walked down the halls of the Kamino cloning facility with three of his older brothers. Well, not so much walking, as being dragged against his will to the rooftop. Rex couldn't do much other then let out small whimpers as one of his clone brothers were holding his arms against his side, a second holding his neck and the third having a training blaster to his back. The seven year old clone wasn't nearly as strong strong as the 10 year old clones dragging him down the hall, so he knew escape wasn't an option. Rex had made the mistake of trying to defend Jesse against the three clones, and was now paying dearly.

Moments before, the older clones had taken him to his shared quarters and stripped him of any clothing with the exception of his boxers.

"What are you gonna do?" He asked, his voice shaking.

As they approached the roof, one smirked at him.

"Well, we figured we would leave ya out on the roof until the next inspection which should be.. oh.. two days." One said.

Rex trembled slightly. It was raining. Hard. He gulped as a strike of lightning pulsed through the platform, going through the raindrops. Rex began to struggle again as they approached the door. Other clones looked at the display before them, most either turning away or snickering.

"Lemme go!" He yelled. "Y-your director won't be happy with you for this!"

Rex received a smack on the head for his concern.

"Well your right, CT-7567," one started, trying to sound official like the Kaminoens. "Maybe if the evidence doesn't cooperate, we could throw him off the roof."

Rex stopped trying to get loose at this remark. As the door opened, he started to shake and his breath quickened. He looked up at one of the clones with pleading in his Amber eyes.

"P-please.." Rex begged.

One of the clones rolled their eyes as the three threw him outside. Slid against the wet platform. He was instantly drenched. The three older clones looked cruelly back at their little brother, before locking the door. Rex crawled to the slight coverage the edge of the facility gave. The rain was freezing tonight. Rex shivered, the clone had never felt helpless like this before, not even with Nala se. Rex was freezing, not having anything to keep warm. The freezing rain came down even harder. The sound was deafening. Tears started to well in the young clone's eyes. He laid his head against his knees. Rex was shaking, partly from the cold and partly from fear.

After around four hours, he heard a ship land. By that time, Rex's skin was starting to turn the same shade of blue as a Pantoran.

Ahsoka stepped out of the ship with her master. He was as still as a Loath Cat.

"Snips, I can feel a presence in the force. Over on the east side of the platform. Go check it out." Said Anakin.

Ahsoka smiled and nodded. 'Probably the Kaminoan here to greet us.' She thought. The 14 year old Togruta walked over to the other side of the building, using the force as best she could to cover herself from the rain. She was quite surprised to find the young, half naked clone out in the rain.

"Hey.." Ahsoka knelt down. Rex practically jumped out of his skin at her voice. "What are you doing out here?" She asked.

"Three of my brothers.. they wanted to punish me for sticking up for Jesse." He said.

Ahsoka furrowed her eyebrows. 'Punish him for that? Wouldn't that be..' Ahsoka's train of thought was cut off when she looked down at Rex's pleading eyes.

"Why don't you come inside my master's ship until we can get you back to your squad?" Ahsoka asked.

It was just then that Rex noticed her lightsabers. Rex got up and hugged her. Ahsoka felt his back shaking, but she didn't say anything. She got up, leading the clone back to Anakin's ship.

"I didn't catch your name?" Said Ahsoka.

Rex hesitated.

"C5-7567." Said Rex.

"Do you have a name?" Asked Ahsoka calmly.

Not many people besides Rex's brothers had asked for his name instead of his CT number.

"..Rex" he said.

"Well then, nice to meet you, Rex." Ahsoka smiled.

Her presence alone eased the young clone as she brought him aboard the ship.

"Master?" She called.

"Yeah, snips?" Asked Anakin.

"I found a young clone outside by himself!"

At that, Anakin appeared at the door to the ship. He had a clear look of concern on his face, only growing as he saw the half naked shivering young clone. Anakin bent down to Rex's level.

"Who let you outside in such awful weather?" Anakin said.

"Three older clones forced me out" he said, straightening his back at the Jedi's presence.

Anakin's look of concern turned to one of shock, then anger.

"Who's letting clones treat eachother like that?!" He practically yelled, getting up from his position on the floor. He grabbed a coat and stormed towards the exit.

"Nala Se and Lama Su are not gonna be happy when I get in there." He muttered. "Ahsoka, get the pour cadet a towel and some clothing."

Ahsoka didn't respond, just watched as her master closed the ship door behind him.

"He's on a mission." Said Ahsoka.

She led Rex further into the ship, getting a towel off one of the shelves and handing it to him.

"So.. why don't you tell me the full story?" She said.

Anakin had quickly found out that the door had been locked from the inside, so he did the reasonable thing and kicked it down. Marching towards the prime Minister's office, he barged in to let him know exactly what he thought.

"Prime Minister!" He half shouted, half spoke.

"Master Jedi- what brings you-"

"Are you aware that my Padawan found a half naked clone 7 year old shivering outside in the rain?! He said three older clones dragged him out."

"I was not aware of the situation, no. We will come collect the clone."

"That's all you have to say about it? What about, 'what the hell is wrong with those three, I need to find them and punish them!'" Shouted Anakin.

"The clones are not always civilized creatures. These things happen from time to time. But our clones are strong, and built to withstand conditions like the one outside with no food."

Anakin was practically red at that point.

"What if I report how you're allowing young clones to treat eachother to the council? I'm sure they would be pleased to know."

"Master Jedi, are you threatening our organization?" Asked Lama Su.

"Nope, just giving you a suggestion on how to treat your clones if you want to continue to do business with the republic." Said Anakin.

He walked out of the room, back down the halls of Kamino. Looking down the hall, he saw a group of three clones looking about 10 dragging another young clone down the hall. He walked towards them, force lifting them. They gasped. Turning around, they saw Anakin.

"Did you bring another clone out onto the roof awhile ago?" He asked, there was venom in his voice.

"Yes, but he will be fine!" Said one.

Anakin had heard enough. He threw them into them closest room, locking the door.

"Don't try it again!" He yelled.

The young clone looked up at him, mouthing the words 'thank you'. Anakin smiled at him and nodded before going back towards the ship.
