Bonus: A Super-Dee-Duper Sneak Peek
"BARNEY!" the kids happily greeted.
"HEY!" Snoopy happily exclaimed.
"Hi everybody." Barney smiled. "It sure is good to be back home after a super dee duper time at Camp Remote!"
"You're telling me. The jetlag was awful, though." Sally said.
"Kid, you don't know true jetlag until you return home from France at 2 in the morning and can't fall asleep." Patty said.
"We didn't even go to camp via airplane." Shawn chuckled. "We took a bus, remember?"
"Oh." Sally realized.
"Speaking of rides, riding in the basket was so much fun!" Barney smiled. "And very comfortable too. I had a nice little pillow to sit on."
"A pillow?" Lila giggled.
"I didn't pack a pillow!" Sally said. "Did I?"
"Maybe Snoopy did." Linus said. "He packs everything."
Rebecca then fished in the basket before pulling out a big peanut butter sandwich. "Barney, that wasn't a pillow!" Rebecca chuckled. "It was a peanut butter sandwich."
"That explains the crumbs on his tail." Lucy giggled.
"Hey!" Barney chuckled as Snoopy laughed.
Linus then wiped off Barney's tail with his blanket. "Why thank you Linus. I guess I didn't..." Barney smiled before getting excited over the sandwich. "Did you say peanut butter?"
"Yes. My mom makes the best peanut butter sandwiches in the whole world!" Rebecca smiled.
"The best? In the whole world? Really? Peanut butter?" Barney asked excitedly.
"Now that's just boasting. Our grandma makes THE best PB&J." Lucy bragged.
"Let him find out on his own." Linus suggested.
"Would you like it, Barney?" Rebecca asked.
"Oh yes! Please!" Barney smiled as Rebecca handed him the sandwich. "Thank you very much, Rebecca."
Heather smiled as Barney took a bite and she took out a container filled with green Jell-O. "Does anyone have enough room in their tummies for some green Jell-O?" Heather asked sweetly.
