Alan's Adventure In Babysitting
Alan opened his front door and let Kristy in.
"Boy am I glad you're here," Alan said to Kristy, he sounded like he was in a hurry. "this little monster here won't go to bed no matter what I do!"
"That's why I'm here," Kristy said to Alan. "I'm going to help you."
Kristy and Alan caught Luciana in the kitchen with her hand in the cookie jar trying to get the last three snickerdoodles from it.
"No, no, Lucy! It's lights out time," Alan yelled. "no sweets! You should really be in bed!"
"But Alan, I want a bedtime snack!" Luciana wailed.
"I know what to do!" Kristy exclaimed.
Kristy dug around in the refrigerator and got out some celery and carrots, then she chopped the celery and carrots into sticks, then, warmed up Luciana's glass of milk.
After eating the delicious and nutricious bedtime snack that Kristy had made for Luciana, Alan read his cousin the story of Sleeping Beauty for Luciana's bedtime story.
After Luciana was put to bed, it was time for Kristy and Alan to run their lines for their school's upcoming play.
