SELLEANA MYR
She was watching Adas and his followers boarding their ship in silence. They already said their goodbyes, but she stayed to see them off, waiting for their ship to leave Coruscant. Previous night she spent with them was surprisingly pleasant, all things considered, but the morning after Adas announced that it was time for them to leave Coruscant, in search of the next adventure.
His statement sounded quite innocent, but she had enough experience in dealing with Adas to know that his "adventures" would inevitably lead to the galaxy becoming more chaotic. That was why she wasn't exactly thrilled to hear about that. Unfortunately she wasn't in the position to stop him. Yet.
As she was watching Adas' ship rising into the atmosphere and leaving Coruscant, going who knows where, Yoda, who was accompanying her to the landing site, spoke.
"Wise, letting him leave like that was?" He asked, probably not happy with her decision. He most likely thought that allowing a known sith lord to do as he pleased wasn't necessarily a correct choice. Well, he wouldn't be wrong and she agreed on principle, but the situation was a little more complicated. Ironically, it was better for Adas to be as far from there as possible, as he had an awful habit of sabotaging her plans whenever he was around. That was why it would be more beneficial to leave him be for some time. It was still dangerous, as he was a chaos incarnate, but they had to focus on improving their situation. Then they would deal with Adas.
"I would love to contain him somehow, but I'm afraid we are not ready to move against him openly yet. What's worse, yesterday I learned that he already started gathering forces, something the Republic army isn't ready for. They are already stretched too thin fighting separatists" They didn't have enough forces to fight on two fronts. They were fortunately able to recruit some force users, but they needed more numbers "We need to find new allies"
"Someone in mind you already have, do you?" Asked Yoda. He was right. She had an idea where to start. She just didn't know if others would approve of her choice.
"Yes, though most could consider recruiting them...quite controversial" she said, thinking about her dear friend, Qyzen Fess. His people weren't exactly liked by the galactic community , often for a good reason, but she was able to understand their culture. She knew trandoshans were actually deeply spiritual and intelligent people. She was sure she would be able to convince them to join the republic against the threat of Darth Imperius.
"Hmm, trust you in that matter, I will '' responded Yoda, much to Selleana's relief. She was truly grateful to have his trust. She was about to start walking towards the building when she noticed that Yoda still had something to say. "Before you leave, someone I would like to introduce to you, there is"
Oh? Who would that be?
AHSOKA TANO
She was in the Jedi Temple at the moment, sitting in silence, waiting.
She was there , because the Jedi council for some reason told her to return to Coruscant, even though the war against separatist was becoming increasingly intense. She wasn't the only one, as Anakin was on Coruscant too.
However, as Ahsoka was the only one told to come to the temple, he decided to visit his friend Padme instead of waiting with her. They sure were quite close for them to meet so often. She was almost jealous of their friendship.
She wouldn't exactly complain about Anakin not being with her though. Her master was being increasingly persistent in asking her to show him Barsen'thor's texts and she was running out of excuses to give him.
In Ahsoka's defence, it's not like Barsen'thor's teachings were forbidden or anything like that. It's just…he wouldn't understand. Barsen'thor was wise and beautiful, but her lessons were not exactly in line with opinions of the current order. Also, he might think that she had impure reasons to listen to Barsen'thor's holocron so vigorously. Which she didn't, as her interest was only academical. The fact that Bersen'thor was a beautiful woman was just a bonus…No, not a bonus! Her appearance wasn't important at all! Ahsoka was only interested in her teachings!
She shook her head to get rid of these unwanted thoughts. It wasn't the time to think about such things. She was in one of the temple's meeting rooms at the moment, waiting to meet someone important. She didn't know who she was supposed to meet with yet, but she was sure it was someone very important, as the Jedi council wouldn't tell her to return to Coruscant otherwise. She had to clear her head, as she couldn't be distracted during the meeting with someone like that. It would be unprofessional.
After a few minutes of patient waiting, she heard a knock on the door. She readied herself, as it was probably the person she was supposed to meet.
"Come in," she said. She said, trying to sound as mature and serious as she could. She wasn't used to official meetings, so she hoped she didn't sound like she tried too hard.
The door to the room opened. Ahsoka looked at the newcomer to see who she was meeting with. In front of her was a young mirialan woman with lustrous hair, gorgeous face and tattoos under her eyes…
Ahsoka's mind went blank.
"You must be Ahsoka Tano" Said BARSEN'THOR, smiling. "It's so nice to meet you. My name is…"
"You are Barsen'thor!" Shouted Ahsoka pointing her finger at BARSEN'THOR, interrupting her introduction. What was going on?! Why was BARSEN'THOR there?!
"Eh? Yes, I am barsen'thor, but you can just call me Selleana" Said BARSEN'THOR, not understanding her outburst. But she was BARSEN'THOR! Ahsoka's head was spinning. She had a hard time thinking. BARSEN'THOR was in the room with her! But she was supposed to be dead for thousands of years! And Ahsoka was only wearing her typical clothes! Oh, no! What would BARSEN'THOR think of her now!
"You don't understand! You are Barsen'thor!" Ahsoka shouted, trying to make BARSEN'THOR understand that she was BARSEN'THOR! Wait, did that make any sense? Her head was spinning. She had to understand! "How?! When?!"
"I think you should calm down, Ahsoka" said BARSEN'THOR gently. BARSEN'THOR was speaking to her gently! Okay, calm down Ahsoka. Deep breaths. In and out. You can do it!
After several seconds of panic, she was able to calm herself a little. She looked at BARS-Selleana. A mirialan woman was watching her with a slight concern in her eyes. Oh, no! She probably thought Ahsoka was weird! No, don't think about it. There were more important things to worry about.
"H-how are you alive? According to your holocron you lived three thousands years ago" She asked. Selleana's deep, brown eyes lighted, as she finally understood why Ahsoka was so shocked.
"Ah, that explains it. The explanation on why I am here is quite complicated, but for now let's just say it was force's will for me to be here" It didn't clear anything up, but Ahsoka was too excited to care about that. Force wanted Basen'thor to meet her! She would be able to talk with her, to ask about every doubt she had! She would spend time with Ba-Selleana! How amazing was that? She probably wouldn't have much time, but even an hour was more than she would have imagined!
"H-how long will you be here?" Ahsoka asked, trying to hide her excitement. Selleana probably saw through her attempts, as her eyes lit up. Ahsoka gulped.
"I'm afraid not for long. I will leave tomorrow" What a shame. Still, she was sure she would be able to meet Selleana again "It's actually why I am here. Master Yoda proposed I should take someone with me, someone "compatibile" with my wisdom, and he chose you. I even got a permission from your master already" W-wait, what? Was she saying what Ahsoka thought she was saying? "But the decision is yours. Would you like to accompany me to Trandosha?" Asked Selleana with a small smile.
The answer was obvious.
