I don't own these characters or profit from them. But since it's been like half a decade since they premiered and nobody else seems to be doing anything with them despite their popularity (barring fan art and hentai), I figure I'll have some fun.

Hazbin Hotel: The Final Episode

Recap: After a few false starts and using a lot of rehab techniques Charlie finally managed to help Angel Dust and many of the other people/demons at the hotel to become better people. Not perfect, but better than they have been and more incline to care about others and be willing to grow as people. They shed their demon forms, became more human looking and a half dozen or so even grew wings, ascending into the light of Heaven. Much to Alastor's shock.

Alastor: Well I'll be damned twice over. She actually did it. I honestly did not see that coming.

Unfortunately about five seconds after they flew into that brilliant light they came falling down into hell again, their wings on fire and followed by a legion of angels lead by the Archangel Michael. He glared around and then looked at Charlie, fire burning in his eyes. "You! You little demonic twat! How dare you sully the gates of heaven with a stench of the damned?"

Charlie, having rushed over to Angel Dust weakly whimpering in her lap and half burned up so they could see half his skull, confused said, "But… but they're redeemed. I helped them find the light inside…"

Michael laughed. "They're damned! There's no coming back from that!"

"Sure there is! I mean look—!"

The angel sneered. "What does it take to get through that thick skull of yours you idiot? We don't want your kind in Heaven. Who cares if you redeemed their souls? We sent them here! What made you think we ever wanted them back?"

"But… but I thought…"

"But I thought…" Michael mimicked her. "Shut up! You've been a pain in my side since you started this little coup of yours, just like your damned father. If I'd thought for one second this little hotel of yours had a chance of working, I'd have taken care of it long ago. Who would have thought it?"

Alastor said, "Hey, I'm as surprised as you are." Around him several other demons nodded in agreement.

"Silence filth!" A blast of heavenly fire engulfed them. A second later Alastor is the only one still standing and he's smoldering slightly. "Nobody asked for your opinion."

Charlie set Angel down and stood up glaring at him. Pointing a finger she said, "You can't do this! It's against the rules! They repented. They did good deeds. They found the light inside! They earned their redemption!"

"Who cares? What kind of place would heaven be if we let trash like you in there? You should have just stayed here and quietly let us incinerate your worthless souls like we planned. You should have been thanking us. After a few centuries of torture I'd think you would have welcomed it."

Sir Pentious, whose head Alastor has mounted on the wall over the fireplace, hissed, "What an asshole…"

Michael glared down at Charlie. "But no, you had to mess with the system. Well once I've reduced you and this little experiment of yours to ashes, nobody will question it. Everybody in Hell will just assume you failed. It's not like any of them believed in you in the first place.' He raised his sword and pointed it at Charlie who stood her ground, tears in her eyes.

A brilliant beam of light shot out, leaving a burning trail in the air as it headed right towards Hell's princess. She closed her eyes, her heart breaking. It had all been for nothing…

"No!" Charlie's eyes snapped open and she saw Vaggie, who she thought had walked out because of a fight they had in an earlier episode in which she, like everyone else, really had not believed Charlie was going to be able to find salvation for anyone and the whole hotel thing was just taking Charlie further and further away from her.

The beam, struck her, lighting up her bones in neon for a second before turning her to dust. Charlie gasped and fell to her knees, running her fingers through a small pile of gray ash. "Vaggie?" Up above the angels laughed.

Suddenly as blood red tears fell from Charlie's eyes the ground began to shake. Up above in the "sky" of hell sigils appeared, each a different color of the rainbow. Seven of them.

"Uh, what are those?" Cherri Bomb asked.

Alastor said, "I do believe those are the seals of Hell. And it looks like they're about to…" The seals shattered. Not too far away in a bar the four horsemen look up from their drinks.

The angels looked around and Michael said, "What is happening?"

Charlie looks up, her face having taken on it's more demonic aspect, but this time without the sharp toothed grin. Black wings made of night, like holes cut in reality and dotted with stars, unfold behind her and a pointed tail lashes back and forth. Horns sprout from her head and she began to swell in size, her skin going from pasty while and rosy cheeked to sinister shadowy black. Tendrils of darkness spread around her and lost souls swirled through the air. "You… killed… my… Vaggie!" Her voice is no longer sweet but hideously deep and shaking the whole of Hell as she lets out a demonic roar.

"Uh oh…" The angels share a look and fly up and out of sight. Charlie's wings flap and she follows, tearing through the top of Hell to follow them. Briefly sunlight from Earth pours in but soon darkens and the sun turns into a blood dripping skull.

(Now)

Angel Dust, lying on the ground still half charred, sits up and said, "Who knew she had that in her?"

Cherri bent down to help him up. "You're still okay?"

"Don't let the wings fool ya sweet cheeks; I've been hurt worse than this for funzies plenty of times. One guy I knew really enjoyed skull f***ing me until my brain tickled." He looked over at Alastor. "I don't suppose you can do anything to help?"

His mouth stretched in a huge grin Alastor said "I'm afraid not my friend. I am currently terrified beyond the bounds of rational thought."

Cherri shared a look with Angel and asked, "Then why are you smiling?"

"I'm not. This is a look of horror and dread. I can't turn it off and I believe I may have soiled myself." The other two sniffed and made disgusted faces as the smell hit them.

In Hell's castle Lucifer and Lilith were dancing in a ballroom when the world began to shake. They rushed to the window and saw the seals break and Charlie rise up, like a wave of darkness, chasing the angels up into the sky.

"Well this certainly is going to affect the weekend," the devil said.

000

On Earth seas boiled and stars fell from the sky. People ran screaming as they were engulfed in lava from suddenly growing volcanoes and the flesh was stripped from them by sandstorms, locusts, and plagues. The four horsemen rode everywhere, singing drinking songs. The world cracked in two as Charlie rose from the depths of Hell, hot on the angels' tail.

Michael and the others made it to the gates and slammed them closed with a click. He relaxed. "Don't' worry fellas, none f the damned can even touch these."

One of the other angels said, "Wait, since when was she damned."

"What?"

"Well wasn't she born in Hell? I mean I know she's the daughter of Lucifer and the first demon ever, but did anyone actually damn her?"

Michael paused a moment. "Uh oh…"

Darkness filled the area outside the gates. Saint peter (a big burly guy who looks more like a bouncer than an old man) squeaked with horror before a cloven hoof came down and squashed him flat. Then a taloned hand gripped the gate and crushed it like an empty beer can, before Charlie, her glowing eyes the only recognizable part of her, began pushing her way in, snarling and dripping foam from her mouth like a rabid animal. All around heaven the residents threw down their harps and began running in terror.

"MICHAEL!"

With nothing else to do the angels grabbed their swords and began firing blasts of heavenly destruction at the hulking demonic form as Charlie broke in an rose up among the clouds. She flinched under the assault parts of her burned away, but she did not stop or even really seem to care. She was after one thing: revenge. Fire grew around her, flaring green and purple. She grabbed angels out of the sky and crushed them even as a blast took out her left eye.

The clouds that formed the ground burned, catching heavenly people and angels on fire. Famous good people from history like Mother Teresa and Gandhi went up in smoke as the clouds parted and people began dropping through the cracks, screaming as they fell.

Michael himself grew into a giant form as big as Charlie and grabbed her, "I will end you; you little bitch!"

"You think I care?" Charlie snarled back, biting into his shoulder and taking out a bloody chunk. He screamed and she spit it in his face. "You just killed the person I love! I don't care if it ends me as long as I take you down too!"

"As if a demon like you had a heart to love with in the first place."

Charlie sneered and brought up a hoof kicking him in the crotch. Nothing happened. "Seems like you're the one missing a few parts."

"Filthy whore!"

"Eunuch!"

The two continued to fight destroying all around them, crushing the other angels, and basically making a huge mess of things.

Suddenly a deep booming voice came from above and the whole place filled with bright blazing light. "WHAT IN MY NAME IS GOING ON HERE!?"

Michael looked up. "Oh no…"

Charlie blinked. "Who is that?"

"That… would be God…"

Three times the size of the other two a glowing being that seemed to change into different people every few seconds, walked across the carnage and picked the two remaining combatants up like kittens.

Michael sniveled and tried to smile. "My lord, I… uh... you're awake! Finally. How… nice."

"Awake?" Charlie asked, frowning her fang filled mouth. "How long has he been asleep?"

God, now a beautiful woman, frowned. "Good question. I set my alarm clock for the Renaissance."

Michael laughed a little. "Uh, well, you see… I… I mean we… uh, felt that you deserved maybe a bit more rest. After creating the whole world and then that uh, night with Mary… well you've just been so busy we thought maybe you could use the rest." (A brief flashback of Michael sneaking into God's bedroom and unplugging his digital alarm clock, which read 00:01 AD before the lights went out).

God frowned and looked around. "I see. Where the Hell is Lucifer? I thought I left him in charge."

"Daddy?" Charlie said. Then she looked at Michael with a glare.

The archangel flinched and said, "Well while you were uh… indisposed… the other angels and I… well we thought maybe…"

"Yes?" God was now a bearded biker looking man.

"Well we thought maybe it would be better if Heaven were a bit more…um… exclusive. You know for the right people. Keep out the riffraff." He looked away. "Lucifer… well he and a few of the others disagreed. Said some nonsense about how even the worst sinners could be redeemed with a little time and effort. Made noise about not condemning people for all eternity for one lifetime of mistakes. Crazy stuff like that."

God, who now looked exactly like Angelina Jolie, said, "You mean the way I told you to run things?"

"Uh, yes…" Michael admitted.

Charlie, now looking more like herself, gasped. "You mean, you were the one who condemned my father to Hell for eternity!"

God turned to her. "Your father?" He looked like Al Roker as his eyes narrowed. "Well Bless me, you are Lucifer's child!" He dropped Michael. "Come here and give your granddad a hug!" He brought her into a crushing bear hug which left her pop eyed. Then he let her go. "Wait a minute, what's this about eternity in Hell? Nobody is supposed to be in hell forever! I wanted all my children up here with me, eventually, whatever they did. Didn't Jesus tell you about that whole love, tolerance, and forgiveness message I had for everyone?" He turned to look at Michael again.

The angel winced, grabbing at the chunk missing from his shoulder. "Yeah, about that. There was a thing… we may not have given him quite as much support on spreading that around as you may have intended… there was a thing with a cross…"

"Michael…!" He turned and looked at Charlie. "What, exactly, has been going on?"

Tears falling from her eyes she began to tell him the whole sad story. Michael tried to crawl away but God casually stuck out a foot and pinned his wing to the ground. Crying Charlie finished with, "And then he incinerated Vaggie and I… kind of lost it." She looked around at the devastation. "Sorry."

God waved it off. "Please. I've had my moments. You're young, excitable. Remind me to tell you about the dinosaurs some time… it'll be alright in the end."

Charlie fell to her knees, still crying. "Nothing's going to be alright. Vaggie… she's gone. She was there for me, even if she didn't believe in what I was doing. She still wanted to make me happy. And even after… the last thing we did was fight! We said such horrible things… I said horrible things… and she still… she still let herself be destroyed to protect me."

"Well why didn't you say so?" God extended her hands (she looked like Dolly Parton complete with full cleavage) and light began to glow between them. Charlie looked up and gasped as a shape took form and then her eyes bugged out as Vaggie, wearing a diaphanous robe, with both eyes, and a pair of glowing wings and a harp appeared in front of her.

"Vaggie? Is… is it really you?"

Smiling she nodded. "How ya been babe?"

Charlie looked between her and then at God who now looked like Pee-Wee Herman. "How…?"

God snorted. "Darlin', I'm God. Duh. Now get your head out your ass and kiss the girl."

Crying happily Charlie shrank down and threw herself into Vaggie's arms. White wings wrapped around them and she did as instructed, kissing her. Then they looked into each other's eyes. "It's… it's really you? For real?"

Vaggie smiled and whispered, "You know, I've got like no underwear on under this robe."

"It is you!" Charlie hugged her again.

"Well isn't this a pretty picture?" a new voice said. Everyone turned and saw Lucifer walking through the gate in his finest suit, Lilith on his arm. He smiled at God and then looked at Charlie. "Love what you've done with the place. I had something similar in mind." He looked up at God. "Long time no see, dad."

God smiled back. "Son. And Lilith! Haven't seen you two in forever."

"Literally," Lilith said. She looked at her daughter. "You alright Charlie?""

Hugging Vaggie she nodded. "I am now."

God said, "I understand things have been a little off. Honestly I take a brief two thousand year nap and it all goes to pot."

Lucifer shrugged. "I've been going through a bad boy phase. Rather enjoying it actually. And frankly pop, it turns out humans and angels have both turned out to have a few more flaws than we thought when you started out."

"So it seems," God said, glaring down at Michael who was bleeding out. Currently God was a supermodel looking woman, but has an obvious penis tenting the front of his/her robe. "Any idea what we can do about that? Another flood maybe?"

Vaggie said, "Well… sir… or um… ma'am…" She swallowed and looked at the girl in her arms. "Charlie's actually been working on just that problem."

"Oh?"

Charlie looked between God and Vaggie and her smiling proud parents. "Well sort of sir. You see…"

(One month later)

Heaven was being fixed up by the resident humans under God's watchful eye while Angel Dust and Cherri Bomb, now with a halo and sporting her own wings held up plans for the "Little Angel Strip Club and Sacramental Wine Bar". Earth was back to normal and the living had no idea anything had ever happened. Panning down the camera shows Hell, also just like it was. Lucifer and Lilith in their castle, demons everywhere doing wicked things. But right in the middle, a hundred times bigger, was the new and improved Hazbin Hotel.

In the lobby Charlie was dressed up in a suit not unlike her father's with Vaggie, still sporting wings, on her arm. The other hotel employees and a lot of new demons, including many we saw destroyed in earlier episodes, were running around the place working. Some were checking in, others were checking out sporting halos and taking their luggage up into beams of light to heaven. A few others were failing miserably as being reformed.

Kate the anchor demon was doing a piece on them for Hell's news while a huge acid dripping demon was checked in. The guy behind the counter hit a bell and shouted, "Bellboy!"

Michael, his wings bloody stumps bleeding on the back of his white bellhop uniform, came forward to take the demon's luggage, frowning angrily the whole time. Off to the side in the kitchen the door opened revealing them deep frying a lot of angel wings.

Alastor popped up next to Charlie and Vaggie, the latter of whom glared at him and put a hand on the sword at her hip, revealing a wedding ring that matched one on Charlie's finger. He ignored her, as usual, and said, "Well kid, you did it. Proved me wrong and cost me a lot in gambling debts. Normally I'd skin you alive for that, but honestly I'm far too terrified to risk your ire. Way to go!"

Charlie smiled and said, "Well I always knew I could do it. Does this mean you're ready to try and redeem yourself too?"

Alastor laughed. "Not this millennium darling. I'll admit that you've made me think there might be something to this whole salvation business after all, but I'm not ready to give it a go just yet. Besides if I didn't keep dragging poor souls to Hell, where would you get people to come here? Ah the fun we'll have. I still think I can come up with one or two you can't redeem."

Charlie laughed and said, "That's okay. We've got all eternity and I just know we'll get you turned around some day."

Vaggie said, "Personally I'm not so sure…" She looked at Alastor who smiled eerily, eyes flashing with an evil gleam. Then she looked at Charlie, "But if anyone can do it, it's you."

Linking arms with her and Alastor she said, "Of course I will. Because…" She paused, smiling hugely at them and waiting.

Vaggie sighed and rolled her eyes, but smiled indulgently. Alastor blinked and shook his head. "Oh alright, just this once." All three of them began to sing. "Inside every demon is a rainbow…" (They and the whole cast, even Kate, those up in heaven, and Lucifer and Lilith in their castle and then every demon in Hell, including those who are currently doing evil things to one another, all together sing the full song as the credits roll.)

When the song ends though there is still a bunch of screaming, torture, and explosions in Hell going on. Also just for the heck of it someone pushes Michael out of the thirty-second floor window of the hotel his bleeding nubs flapping furiously until he hits the ground.

Author's Note

At this time the Hazbin Hotel Pilot Episode is several years old as is the promise that it would become a TV series. Will that happen? Gods I hope so. The animation was marvelous (been a fan since that wolf-girl music video back in the day), the story seemed good, the jokes and horror were great… but sadly it's 2022 and nothings' been done yet. I hear rumors of a second episode, but haven't seen it. Frankly I'm thinking this thing is about as likely as that Looking For Group series they were supposed to release a decade ago. (Alastor would probably love "This is War" and "Slaughter Your World". Him and Richard…now there's a team up.

So I thought I'd at least give you a peek at how it could end. Super happy ending. Or close enough anyway.

I'd still like to see the show either on TV or Youtube, or at least a regular (weekly?) webcomic. Maybe a published graphic novel. Switch it from a series to a movie. Something. Come on fans send in the suggestions to Vivienne Medrano. Let's do something with this series that gets banned from at least twelve different countries!

In the meantime until the actual creator gives us an official story I hope this tides you over. If not feel free to go on Amazon and check out some of my books like "Slasher School Days", "Missing Persons", "Curses!" and The "Fuchsia Story Book."
