Kei brushed his fingers along his boyfriends hands before left him at the school, he headed to his grandfather's place to pick up Tohru. He couldn't stand the girl but there wasn't much he could do less he wanted the dumb girl to take the trains. He could not stand her friends either -well, friend- Arisa. Kei didn't mind Saki, she was Megumi's older sister after all. It made him cringe when he thought on the age difference between them, even if no one else seemed bothered. While Megumi was only a year younger than his sister Kei himself was graduated and in university. He had pointed this out when Megumi asked his out in the first place. Kei smiled to himself and he drove on, it was Hedwig that introduced them. Meddling in thing as she always has; he did not regret saying yes to Megumi.
Kei gave a loud sigh as he pulled to a stop outside grandfather's home. The last few months had been irritating, Tohru had calmed down after Kyoto's passing. He idly wonderd if it was a hormone thing or something to do with what Kyoko was like while raising Tohru. The was mental scaring she had he couldn't really help with as the girl refused counseling and the way they had been so co-dependent for a mother and daughter. He shivered. The stupid girl needed it.
Yellow eyes glanced down at his watch, he had an hour before he needed to be back at his apartment for classes. He honked his horn obnoxiously, he didn't mind driving his car but he could get places faster on his motorcycle. "Coming!" Tohru's high voice called as she came from behind a bush. "Just what were you doing?" Kei asked in irritation, the girl had leaves in her hair and her clothes were wrinkled. "Oh, um, I thought I heard a cat!" She said, nodding her head, dislodging a few leaves.
Kei stared at her for a moment causing Tohru to fidget. "Make yourself presentable and get in the car. I have class in less than an hour and so do you." He said before pushing off the car and getting back in, ignoring her shouted thanks. The burnette finely got in and buckled up and placed her hands in her lap.
Kei drove for a while before glancing at his 'sister' then back at the road. Honestly he didn't understand why he was sent here. The girl did nothing outrageous, she was pretty well behaved, a bit of a people pleaser really. Thought what just happened was out of character and most definitely suspicious, the girl can't lie at all.

Oh. What the absolute fuck was this? He stared at the remaines of a camp the was poorly cleaned after being vacated. A single grey ribbon he had painstakingly placed a tracking spell on merrily fluttering in the light breeze. What was the stupid girl thinking? Anything could have happened to her out here, who knew what weirdo was out wandering around. Irritated Kei snatched the ribbon from the low hanging branch it was snagged on.
He'd decided to visit the old man after his own schooling, and picking up Megumi. Turns out that he had every right to be suspicious as Tohru had not been living with him for well over a month. The man thought she was living with Kei, which she wasn't. The stupid girl had decided to ,"not be a bother" as his other kids decided she was. "She's in the way of the renovations!" which had only led them to get chewed out by the old man. Kei could not be bothered as he held no connection to grandfather's other kids. He sent a text he was going to look to his wayward 'sister' to him and dipped out while everyone was yelling. Honestly what the hell.
The magic here took a bit to relearn, after he stopped attempting to replicate exactly what he learned from before. After a mishap with a book Hedwig had had the misfortune of reading from. Due to her being a bird that understood english but never learned to read it in her past life, Japanese was her first language. She decided it was a good idea to read an old book, in (from what she can guess) latin, to 'broaden her language skills' and ended up giving herself - innaturalis tantalizing pulchritudo- or unnatural tantalizing beauty, and had a few people, let alone creeps following her for two weeks before they found a way to reverse it. Kei cringed a little, remembering the police report from one particular incident.
Frowning he shook his head from his intrusive thoughts amd focused on looking at his surroundings. He'd spent the last hour trying to figure out where his stupid sister was, all the while complaining that he could have been out getting tea with Headwig. Hmm, should think something else, that's where we go distracted to begin with. He thought as he tried to center himself.
A frustrated huff left him before the lifted his hand, palm up and considerate on what exactly it was that he wanted. He needed to spred his fingers slightly apart, looking up he took in the suns position before facing north and slowly turned right until his hand was brushed with a slight gust of wind. A soft smile in thanks graced his lips as he walked south east to get back to his car. The wind ruffled through his hair as he started walking.

Torhu smiled as her new friend showed the where she would be sleeping. Their secret would be safe with her! she thought as her wide eyes took in the bedroom. A shiver shook her. "Are you okay, miss Honda?"
"Oh, um, yes! I just got a weird feeling just now. I am fine though, thank you for asking!" She reassures with a bow. Kei had drumed manners into her. Torhu knew she would be in trouble soon. Though what for she wasnt sure, shes a good gir after alll. Her generous host nodded and left her to unpack. She completely forgot to imform them that her brother want to meet them, would likely collect her at some point, pick her up from her grandfather's place, or even that she has a brother .
Kei frowned as he shut his got ready for bed for the night. Megumi had been rather cryptic when they were on the phone earlier, and rather moody. He had called Hedwig to talk about it after, he'd had to pull out some of his journals as a refresher. His memories of one parcular dreamy blonde girl were wonderfully useful in understanding his lovely Megumi's message.
He didnt particularly want to find himself interesting times with a bitter soul, hapless miners, zodiac, and a tyrant. Been there done that. He'd rather not have to go after his moronic charge and... He stared blankly at his bedroom ceiling.
oh... oh.
"Am i Snape in this scenario?"
