Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about My hero Academia. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own My Hero Academia. Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.
"Leave him, he's weak…" He heard as he turned and looked over his shoulder.
He could feel pain seeping over his body while he shook his head only for agony to seep over his body. They had betrayed him; it wasn't much of a shock… They were villains. So, was he, or at least…? He used to be, being betrayed didn't help one keep their sense of loyalty to a group. His doubts were one of the reasons they had left him to die.
Or perhaps? It was an excuse to kill him. He didn't much care for it considering he was left by the League of Villains here.
"Damn it…" He muttered as he shook his head as he sighed at the moment. "Damn it…" He muttered at the sight of blood with dull amusement painting his tone.
It was oddly fitting considering he had been a potential new recruit. He thought it was going to something mind blowing… Instead? Here he was, bleeding out somewhere in the city he had decided that he was on the right side of things.
"Ow." He said as he slowly started to crawl away a second later. "Why didn't I see what's was coming?" He said while he cracked his fingers as he leaned against the walls.
He sighed and started to think of what his options were. The more he considered the stupid options? The more humor he tended to find within them. This was how he died, expiring within some discarded back ally, betrayed by every single person he considered a possible friend. There were worse ways to expire, but this? This was quite amusing considering the sheer among of not caring he had at the moment. This ranked on the list of something he'd laugh about.
"There, I go making stupid choices again…" He said, leaning against the wall and looking at the ground. "Figures they wouldn't bring her; she'd be too eager to turn me into swish cheese." He muttered before he rolled his eyes.
Rock and stone started to fly down the street. He had kept his quirk secret. He was glad that he had joined when All for One was incarcerated, but he doubted the man didn't know his quirk. He had so many quirks and was smart enough to suspect his power…. He doubted he had given the same information to his apprentice.
The stones started to cover his body. He staggered to his feet, the rock cradling the broken body he had now. Without his quirk? He'd have no mobility. He would have asked why the League of Villains didn't outright kill him.
Then again? With a name like Obsidian? He doubted they knew that his quirk was stone related, Obsidian had tried his hardest to conceal what his quirk was until he could tell if they trusted him.
Considering they had left him behind to get killed or arrested? Obsidian could understand their final views on him. Blood pooled down his makeshift armor as he slowly started to move forward, step by step on broken legs.
"They couldn't leave me as a corpse because that would tell them who did it." Obsidian muttered as he looked around with interest in his surroundings. "No, just leave me as bait… I was never one of them in their eyes, I wasn't as much of a monster as they wanted… Course they'd want to leave someone expendable in their eyes behind as bait." Obsidian stated with obvious frustration in his tone as he turned towards the city.
Obsidian could tell the cops were coming. If they hadn't killed him? They had removed him as an obstacle either way, it made the most sense if he would have been in a leadership position… Then again? If he was in a leadership position of strength within the League? He wouldn't be here, but also defeating the rest of the traitors and then the heroes.
Obsidian collapsed, the shock and stress finally overtaking him as the sounds of sirens tainting the air as he chuckled to himself.
Such an amusing way to have lost now that he thought about it. such a stupidly droll way to have been defeated in his mind.
