"Mum, you must be kidding. Right? You are joking?" Victoria sat opposite of her mother in the kitchen. Tayler and Olivia had fell silent.

"Darling." Cora tried, but got interrupted.

"How can you do that to us. I was expecting Robert to move here. You cannot move to the UK. What about us."

"Victoria? Mama isn't a child that needs to be scolded." Tayler said.

"Oh , you shut up. You are as selfish as Mama is." Victoria bitched to Tayler.

Cora shrunk back. This was the Victoria she knew, but after her recent turn she wasn't expecting this.

"Oh, and how do you figure Mama is selfish?" Tayler shouted back. "Just because she wants to be happy. Our 'dear' Papa, cheated on her for years, and now she has to sit here and be miserable? You know who is selfish? That is, you Victoria. YOU."

"Girls, please." Cora said, fighting against her upcoming tears.

"Mama, isn't doing this to hurt us." Olivia stepped in.

Cora looked at her with thankful eyes, but she knew she needed to control this conversation again. "Girls, stop this! First Victoria, I don't wish for you to talk to me like this. I am still your mother! I know that our lives aren't the way we had hoped. I also wished we would still be a family, but it didn't go that way. We have to accept that. I can't sit back and see your father happy and you girls go on with your life. Where does that leave me? Robert makes me happy, truly, he does. I want to spend my live life with him. I will be back here in the USA regulary. This house will stay mine, so you girls will always have your home, when I am here." She said with a firm voice. "I know it will be hard to adjust, for all of us." She stroked Olivia's cheek. "But we will manage. Victoria?

Victoria had stood up and was starting to walk out of the kitchen. "You go than Mama, you don't care about us."

"Victoria, please come back, that is not true. I care for you girls deeply."

"Mama was willing to give up her happiness for us." Olivia said.

Victoria turned around to look at Olivia. "And how do you know that?"

"Well, Mama and I had a talk on the evening she broke up with Robert."

"You did what Mama?" Victoria looked at Cora in surprise.

"Olivia is right. We broke up, I said I didn't want to move to London and leave you girls behind. Darling, I am not doing this to hurt you. I wish the situation was different, but it isn't, but I am not giving up on my own happiness. And Robert is my happy place."

"Mum, we will be alright. Go and enjoy this adventure." Olivia said, while kissing Cora goodbye at the airport.

Cora hugged all three of her girls. "Just call me, I will come back when needed. Promise me girls? Promise me, you will call!"

"We promise." Tayler answered. Victoria was silent.

"Victoria?" Cora cupped her cheek with her hand. "I am always here for you"

"Yeah, I know Mum, just go and get in that airplane."

Cora looked back at her girls one more time. She was fighting against her tears. She was really doing this, she was leaving them alone. She knew they weren't alone. Olivia had Max, Tayler had Sebastian and Victoria was happy with Dan. But she wasn't there for a cup of tea when needed. This was so incredibly hard, she was going to be with Robert. The love of her life, but her girls would be miles away.

Robert was waiting at the airport, when the sliding doors opened and Cora walked through them, he couldn't believe his luck. She was here, it was not a dream. She really came to live with him.

Cora smiled a big smile, but Robert saw hurt in her eyes. He knew she was missing her girls already. Tayler had moved out last month, the day after Cora's 41stbirthday. All of her girls were living close, and now she was on the other side of the pond. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. "I know darling, I know." Was the only thing he said. He felt Cora's shoulders start jolting from her crying. He brushed her hair and softly kissed the top of her head. "Let it out, I am here for you." He held one arm around her shoulders, when he guided her towards the taxi. Her luggage was coming with a mail carrier. It would arrive this afternoon.

Once they sat down in the taxi, Cora looked up at Robert. "I am sorry, I hope you don't think I don't want to be here. Because I do, I am so happy to be back with you. But knowing my girls aren't here is just hard."

"We will let them come over soon."

"Cora, I have something special this afternoon."

Cora looked up from her laptop. "What is it darling?" She was searching for a new home for them. Robert had a wonderful apartment, but they both wanted something new. She found the perfect place in Mayfair. They would have a viewing tomorrow morning.

"I arranged a private visit to St. Paul's Cathedral. We will get a tour, the church will be closed for other visitors."

"Oh, I love that Cathedral. Thank you for arranging that. Come look at this house, we will go there tomorrow."

Robert walked over, he rested his hands on her shoulders and watched what she was showing. "This looks perfect, if it is like this in real life, we can make an offer tomorrow." He kissed her temple. "Come we should go and change. I am taking you out for dinner after the visit."

"What do you want me to wear?" Cora asked kissing his hand, resting on her shoulder.

"You look stunning in everything, we are eating at 'The Ritz'"

"I know enough." Cora got up and walked over to the bedroom.

When Cora returned she was in a satin blue/green dress. With one shoulder strap and an asymmetrical neckline, the dress reached to the floor. Her figure was perfect for a dress like this. "Will this do?" She asked.

"You look stunning. I am a lucky man. I will change too, I have a tie in that colour."

It was wonderful to be in the Cathedral alone, there was a string quartet playing. They were practising the guide said. The tour ended on the Whispering Gallery, a circular walk way in the Dome. The string quartet was playing 'Suite No.3 in D: Air' from Bach, the sound was magical. The guide said to Cora she should wait on this side of the Dome, he would go to the other side with Robert. She should listen carefully.

Robert walked with the guide to the other side, when he was there, Cora saw the guide leaving the gallery. Then she heard Robert's voice. "Cora, will you marry me." She wasn't sure if she had heard this right. But when Robert walked over to her and got on one knee, she knew. Before he could ask the question again, she said: "Yes! Yes of course, I will marry you." Robert put a beautiful diamond set ring on her finger. Cora took Robert's face in her hands and kissed him.

"You have made me the happiest man on earth. I waited for you, my whole life and now you are here with me." Robert said.
