'Cora was waiting on the side of the street, watching Robert walk with Ava towards her. Once Ava had spotted her, she pulled her hand out of Robert's and started running. Robert tried to catch up and pull her back, but she already ran into the street. Cora screamed, the only thing she heard were the screeching of brakes and other people screaming. She was transfixed and could only watch. She saw Robert running to the front of the truck. A big group of people gathered around the front, and she could hear people in distress. After a few seconds she could move and struggled through the crowd. On the ground just under the truck was her little girl, in a puddle of blood. Robert next to her on his knees, talking to Ava. She got down on her other side and put her hand on Ava's head. Her head was sticky, when she took a closer look, she saw her whole face was covered in blood. She looked up into Robert's scared face.'

Cora woke up. She forgot for a second where she was and reached next to her. She only touched a wall and got confused even more. When she opened her eyes, she saw she was in a plane seat. Her mind went back to her dream, and she had trouble controlling her breath again and get her heartbeat down.

She looked at her phone and saw she had 1 more hour to go, before they would land in New York. Victoria had asked her to come over, she still had about a month to go, but the doctors were thinking about inducing her early, because she was still having troubles with eating. Cora started writing a message to Robert, but realised she couldn't send it, there was no connection. She wrote it anyway, so it would be sent the moment the phone picked up a signal again.

'Dear, I just had the most horrible dream. I will tell you everything when I am at my home in New York. But please take good care of Ava! I love you and miss you already.'

Dan was waiting at the airport for Cora. "You didn't sleep much on the airplane." he said while taking over her suitcase. "You look really tired."

Cora smiled. "I am tired, you are right." She knew she wasn't just tired from the flight. She had been tired for weeks now. She made a note in her head to make a doctor's appointment once she was back home.

"I will bring you to your home, so you can rest. Victoria and I will be at the hospital this afternoon, but around dinner time we will be back. Do you want to eat supper with us?"

"That sounds lovely, should I make dinner?" Cora asked, suppressing a yawn.

Dan smiled at her. "Maybe it's better if we will meet tomorrow? We will come to you."

Once Dan dropped Cora off and she closed the door, she let herself down on the cough. She really was tired. She was just worn out. Her phone rang, it was Robert.

"Hello, darling, did you have a good flight?" His voice was warm through the phone.

Cora started crying without really noticing it.

"Darling? Cora? What's wrong?" Robert sounded worried.

"I am just tired and had the most awful dream on the plane. Ava was hit by a truck and covered in blood. I am happy to hear your voice. I wish you were here."

"You wrote something in your text and got me worried. Ava is perfectly alright, but you are clearly not."

"I am so tired." Cora said

"Of course, you are, you are having a jetlag." Robert interrupted her.

Cora let out a deep sigh. She decided to let it rest for now, there was no need to worry Robert with this. "I will talk to you tomorrow, darling, give Ava a big kiss from me. I love you."

"I love you too sweetheart. Ava is sending you kisses back."

Cora must have fallen asleep, because she was woken up by Tayler who was standing next to her.

"Mama, Victoria is in the hospital." Cora was right awake.

"Did they keep her? Why?"

"She is getting a C-Section right now. Dan asked me to go and get you, he tried to reach you, but you didn't answer your phone."

Cora looked at her phone and saw 5 missed calls. She got up immediately and followed Tayler to her car.

"How are your wedding preparations going?" She asked.

Tayler started talking about everything Sebastian and she already planned. The wedding would be small. Only family and a few friends. The wedding would be in New York. Soon after the wedding they would move to London. Cora had already found the perfect place for them.

Dan came into the waiting area with a big smile on his face. "Well, I can call you grandma now. We have a little boy, Daniel, named after his grandfather."

"How wonderful, congratulations. A boy!" Cora exclaimed. "Can we see him?"

"You can. Tayler and Olivia do you want to wait a little? Victoria wants Mama there first."

Cora followed Dan into Victoria's room. She felt so incredibly proud when she saw Victoria sitting on the bed with a little bundle in her arms. "Come and meet Daniel, Mama." Victoria said with a big smile. she handed him to Cora.

She sat down on the side of her bed and looked at the little face of Daniel. "You are perfect, little boy. You gave your Mama a hard time, but you are just perfect." She felt a tear dripping down her cheek.

"Mama? Are you alright?" Victoria asked

"I am. Oh, darling, I am so proud of you. How are you feeling."

"My painkillers are working fine. I don't feel a thing. I was a little bit scared when they said they were going to do a C-Section immediately."

"The doctor said that if they had waited a little bit longer, we could have lost Victoria and the baby." Dan added. "We tried reaching you."

Tayler and Olivia had entered the room.

"I am truly sorry, I fell asleep. I wasn't planning on sleeping, but I was so tired."

"Mum? You still look very tired, are you feeling alright?" Tayler asked.

"You girls need to stop asking me that. I am alright."

"Mum, can you please just visit a doctor when you are back home. You aren't looking very well, your colour is off." Olivia said.

This scared Cora for a second, she hadn't noticed that it was visible she wasn't feeling well. "If you girls, stop bugging me, I promise I will pay a visit to my doctor. I bet it is just menopause. Let's focus on this gorgeous little boy now."
