Chapter 7

AN: So... maybe since I delved a bit more into the Dalton world this will be more like 15-20 chapters?Also... I'm trying to think of other titles that go with this one when I make it a series. I'm having a hard time (but I usually pull through in the 11th hour) and this title was always going to be a 'working title' so don't be surprised if it changes completely or only sort of or become a 'book' within a 'collection'.

AN2: I tend to make up celebrities within these stories with names that are similar to real people. :)

Nick slipped an arm around Kurt's as they walked down the hall toward their next class. He rested his head on Kurt's shoulder. "Dude... did you see Wes' girlfriend's profile? Damn, she's gorgeous! I can't believe he managed to land someone like that."

Kurt bumped him a little with his elbow. "Landed? Really?"

"Well, I could have said a lot of things but that seemed the least offensive of the options running through my head."

Kurt gave a small shrug, supposing that to be true enough. He let it go without argument. "I'd love to meet her, just to know that she's real." Kurt joked instead and Nick snorted and tried to cover up the sound with a chuckle but it came out more of a strangled sound.

"Think he's catfishing us?" Nick joked along.

"I wouldn't put it passed him." Kurt shook his head. "Remember that time he tried to convince us he was friends with Tina Leon?"

Nick snickered. "Oh yeah, or the time he told us Adeline asked him out?"

"I believed him when he told us that Chaz Dion invested with his dad's company."

"That, I think is true." Nick agreed. "Adeline had confused him with another person his age who had cancer and was going to visit to fulfill a wish to meet her."

"And Tina Leon is a family friend but had never met Wes before since she never really attends events that have a no younger than 18 policy. Maybe he'll finally get to meet her next year." Kurt shook his head again. Wes was a little bit of a flight of fantasy sometimes. He certainly liked to believe he was the judge, jury and executioner of the Dalton Warblers.

"Maybe she's just a girl he met at a party, took a few pictures of, let him get frisky and then forgot about him and he just posts his pictures claiming it was more."

"I don't think he'd got that far." Kurt made a face thinking about it.

He really didn't think Wes would do that, and Nick if he were being honest, wouldn't think that either. "Yeah, probably not. If it's real, I'm happy for him." Kurt made a sound of agreement.

"Ok, that's enough." Kurt shook his arm and Nick respected the fact that Kurt had a revolving time limit to being touched. Nick always acted first and then responded to how Kurt was feeling that day. Sometimes he got pushed off right away and sometimes they walked the entire time to class with arms linked.

Nick sat next to Kurt in their class and split off near the locker rooms. Kurt headed in while Nick continued on to his next class. Tyler, Wes and Jeff shared this period with Kurt and Jeff came in with a bemused expression as Kurt switched into his gym clothes. "Nick spot you as you crossed paths?" Kurt teased and Jeff only nodded, switching clothes on autopilot.

Thankfully today's PE was only a mile run and Kurt made decent time. He wasn't the fastest nor the slowest in the group and he wasn't winded by the time he finished. He was, however, sweaty and he headed back in with some of the other boys. He stripped his shirt off over his head, peeled his bottoms off and walked completely nude into the shower. He showered and dried quickly, knowing he would put more care into his hair and skin later.

He wrapped a towel around his waist and headed back to where his uniform was and took his time getting dressed. He chatted with Tyler with a towel the only thing either of them wore. He pulled his phone out of his locker and scrolled through the picture he wanted to show his friend. More bodies filled in the area around them, different states of undress and cleanliness pressed in.

One of the other boys slid passed Kurt with only his boxers on and pressed up against his hip and then away with a mumbled apology. Kurt didn't even acknowledge it, barely noted it happened at all and continued talking to Tyler.

The same boy came back dripping wet even with the towel wrapped around him and passed without incident but it reminded Kurt that he needed to get dressed. He turned, slipped in the wet spot on the ground between him and his locker and nearly fell back. Likely would have hit his head against the bench between the rows of lockers. Tyler caught him, Kurt's shoulders falling into Tyler's chest and they held there for a minute, both breathing hard at the near miss and then then Tyler helped him back to his surer footing. "Thanks." Kurt said with a strangled breath, Tyler nodded and gave a small shrug and then turned back to his own locker to pull on his clothes. Kurt followed suit and shook the event out of his head.

He could have cracked his head open. He should really talk to the school about making sure they had flooring that wasn't so slippery when wet. There were plenty of options out there and the school had plenty of money to ensure their students' safety.

Wes caught his eye and mouthed the word 'lawsuit?'

Kurt shook his head and mouthed back, 'request'. Wes scowled, he loved getting involved in lawsuits and thought this would be a good one. He would respect Kurt's wishes to try the more reasonable approach first.

The school was very reasonable. The headmaster brought Kurt in and heard him and listened to his concerns. "I'm surprised we haven't taken care of this sooner. It is a slippery floor. We will look into alternatives and take care of it as soon as possible. In the meantime, please take care."

Kurt nodded, knowing the options had to be sorted through carefully- it couldn't absorb the water and crack or weaken or mold but it also needed to be anti-slip. The material itself had to be considered carefully and then to get it in a style that fit the Dalton requirements had to be custom ordered and make sure the custom order didn't negate the properties they were looking for. The time it took to get to them would be another factor. Kurt figured it would probably take about 3 to 6 months to be completed.

That evening, the Warblers all piled onto three couches and projected a movie against the wall. Sebastian sat under Kurt who curled up into his lap and rested his head on Sebastian's clavical, just under his jaw for an easy and comfortable rest for Sebastian. Also easy enough to breath him in, and it was perfect for Kurt to breath Sebastian in as well. His feet buried under Blaine's thigh and four more boys somehow made themselves fit onto the couch. There were probably ten to each couch.

Somehow during the movie, Blaine's legs ended up over Kurt's lap while Kurt slipped into the crack between Sebastian and David. He was still against Sebastian's side but his legs were over Sebastian's and Blaine's were over his. David had his head propped up by Kurt's shoulder and his legs were sprawled out over Trent's.

They all kind of shifted and adjusted and found new positions and new piling up on each other as they did so. Kurt was now laying against David a bit more than the other way around but his fingers were intertwined with Sebastian's. Sebastian's head was in Kurt's lap and Blaine was curled up against the arm of the couch. Their positions changed a few more times during the movie. Sometimes someone would get up and come back and pick a different spot. The entire time though, Kurt and Sebastian somehow touched and didn't lose that contact.

Popcorn passed through the group and was split into three bowls, one for each couch. There were other snacks brought in too.

Then Blaine was laying across both Sebastian and Kurt's laps, his head pillowed against Kurt's thigh. Kurt's free hand stroked through his hair, feeling badly for neglecting him so much. Blaine had always been his closest friend outside of Sebastian. Sebastian eyed the motion with a faint frown and Kurt turned his head and tilted his mouth up and Sebastian didn't disappoint, leaning in to press his lips against Kurt's. He may have wanted more but he didn't press for anything further.

Sebastian settled down a little, their fingers were still linked and were pressed up against each other from knee to hip to shoulder. Blaine snuggled in a bit more and Kurt felt a yawn stretch Blaine's jaw and cheek briefly before he shifted once more. His legs were hanging off over the couch and his butt was on the seat next to Sebastian but the rest of him laid along the two other boys.

Blaine fell asleep some time during the movie and David and Jeff shared mischievous looks before Thad was tossed a marker. Thad came over and knelt in front of Kurt and Kurt frowned. "Thad, don't." He said softly, trying not to wake Blaine up.

"He knew the rules, knew the first to fall asleep gets punished." Thad thought for a moment before he leaned forward and drew something on the part of Blaine's face and neck that was exposed. He laughed a little when he sat back and Blaine slept through it all. Kurt couldn't argue, he'd been the recipient of such a marking before. It would wash off and fade away in a few days but in the meantime it would stay with Blaine as a testament to his folly. Mostly that he trusted other guys not to do anything to him while he slept in such a public place.

Kurt had gotten a series of black marks that were supposed to mimic rings, along his eyebrow, nose, lip, ear. It had been annoying because they were just so small and frequent that it looked just absurd especially as they faded. He'd learned how to deal with them though after that.

The time that Sebastian had written Smythe along the side of his neck, he'd left it. Sebastian couldn't put his first name because it was so long and would have to be smaller to fit all the letters in. Kurt had liked being branded with Sebastian's last name though. Perhaps it had been meant to claim but he'd felt even closer to Sebastian after that.

Sebastian never fell asleep first and the rest of them were now safe that Blaine had been marked. The fun tomorrow would be Blaine trying to figure out who was the one to do it to him. Kurt looked down at the markings and tried to figure it out. Then he realized as the movie shifted to the next scene and Kurt laughed. He totally got it now. Hangover was definitely the motivator to that particular marking down the side of Blaine's face and neck but unlike the movie didn't match it exactly.

He forgot about Blaine's plight in a few hours to settle in and completely enjoy the movie. He didn't think he'd ever laughed so hard. This movie was definitely going up in his favorite movies list. Sebastian pressed a kiss to he side of his head when he was particularly focused during a scene, trying to figure out what was going on.

"This movie is so old." Sebastian teased him.

"Yeah, well, why have you never shown it to me before?"

Sebastian opened his mouth and then closed it, thought some more, opened his mouth and then closed it again with a small bashful shrug. "I forgot to?"

"Mmm-hmm..." Kurt rolled his eyes. "I see right through you Smythe. I know what you want when the movie ends and we go back to our room. You're not going to jeopardize that by saying what you really think. You might as well. I'm not going to punish you because that would only punish me."

Sebastian grinned silkily. "In that case... We haven't watched this movie together because you're too busy rewatching all the old classics and making me sit through Singing in the Rain for the 100th time."

"You don't like Singing in the Rain?"

"I like watching you watch it. Especially when you start singing along with them or before them." Sebastian saved himself knowing what would happen if he said 'no' straight out.

"Smart boy." Kurt sighed dramatically, their conversation so hushed that no one told them to stop talking. It didn't matter as Thad and Jeff and a few other boys had running commentary, having seen the movie many times and making the others laugh when there was a lull in the comedy bits, not that those bits lasted long. "Maybe I'll save you from that kind of grief and watch those movies with Blaine, he likes them without feeling like he's doing me any favors while sitting through them."

"No." Sebastian nipped at Kurt's ear. "Definitely not. Those movies are ours."

"Uh-huh, they're really not." Kurt teased. "I've watched them with both my parents, just my mom and just my dad and the three of us have watched some together growing up."

"Shall we find a movie that's just ours then?" Sebastian suggested slyly.

"We'd have to actually get through a movie." Kurt drawled out suggestively. "But we certainly do have fun trying."

Sebastian laughed and thankfully it was an appropriately timed laugh. They'd get a lot of grief about how they couldn't keep it in their pants long enough to get through a movie with the rest of them. Do they really have to flirt so much and hard when they've been together for years? It's a sure thing. Kurt could hear it now without the others having to say anything. His response will always be yes.

There were decorative throw pillows for each couch and someone from the couch next to them took the name seriously as they aimed it for Sebastian's head. It bounced off harmlessly but both Sebastian and Kurt turned their gaze of murder clear in their eyes toward the potential culprit. Whoever threw it knew better and locked their eyes onto the screen, maybe paying just a bit too much attention to the screen. "We know it was you, Wes."

Wes looked at them, hearing Kurt's words and attempted to look startled. "What? I didn't do anything!"

Kurt held out a finger in Wes' direction. "Watch your back." A brow lifted when Wes stared at him then gulped and looked back to the screen. Kurt and Sebastian shared a mirth filled look. They probably wouldn't do anything in retaliation to a pillow being tossed at Sebastian. Their revenge would be Wes jumping and looking over his shoulder for weeks before catching on. Kurt leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to Sebastian's lips. He bent and laid his head on Sebastian's shoulder, attempting to watch the movie, having no other recourse but to do so since he was trapped under Blaine and squished up next to David.
