/after a few days of thinking I have decided. I decided that I'm continuing this story despite the criticism people give, in fact, all that criticism is going to be ignored, like seriously don't bother with the criticism.

One complaint seemed to be because of a lack of drama, guess what, drama doesn't happen right away in stories, at least not all stories. I have plans for things to go south at one point, so be patient.

Quick explanations:

The whole desire to be a normal person thing that our hero has seems to be fulfilled, but it's not. He's in a situation similar to Blake, as in he seems to be fitting in just fine, and is enjoying his time there, but knows deep down that he can never be truly honest with his friends. Again just like Blake being a Fanus and an ex-White Fang member.

While our hero is apart of Ozpin's inner circle, he's not an official member, in reality he's just aware of magic and Salem, so Ozpin shares things with him that normally would only be shared with his inner circle.

Also I'll be including other game/anime bosses and enemies as Grimm in this story. Such as the heartless as we've seen, or even Kirby bosses like Zero Two, or Void(maybe even some non-cannon evils such as Xenophane from Sonic.EXE(non-cannon because not official Sonic lore)). It's my story, I can include as many references as I want.

Also instead of authors notes, I'll be including footnotes at the end of the chapter, each footnote connected with a asterisk or this little symbol right here: *

With that said, let's get on with it.\

Chapter 6: Forever Fall Incident

It was currently 1 month into the school year, the first years where taken on a field trip to the Forever Fall Forest.

Colton was currently a good distance away from his friends, under the excuse that he had to do something.

Colton was currently adjusting his inhibitor rings trying to keep his mind straight, right now he was having one of his "episodes".*

He twists the lock of the rings so he can remove them, putting them in his pouch as to not loose them. This wasn't a conscious decision, as his impulses were shifting between that of mindless monster, and that if a being with free will.

All of a sudden, an empty jar comes flying out of nowhere, and hits Colton in the back of his head, shattering and leaving broken glass on the ground.

Colton turns around, and thanks to his haywire instincts, is already incredibly angry.

Colton sees the bird themed team, Team CRDL with cocky looks on their faces, walking over to him. It didn't take a genius to tell that they were the ones who threw the jar.

"What do you want?!" Colton says, voice dripping with venom(not literally. expression).

"Payback." Is all Cardin answered.

The team of 4 then charges Colton, intending to overwhelm him by outnumbering him.

As they got close, Colton held up a hand, which glowed blue. As soon as his hand started to glow, team CDRL froze, not out of fear, but rather like they were forced.

"What the?! What's going on?!" Cardin asks panicked.

Colton looks at them with a cold glare, one that immediately makes team CDRL start to panic.

Since Colton took his inhibitor rings off, his magic returned, and so did his ability to switch between his human and Grimm forms.*

'They are panicking, I can feel my power growing.'*

Colton stared right at the frozen teens. "I'll rip you apart piece by piece."

To the surprise of the 4 teens, Colton started to change. His arms lost the flesh, nerves, and blood, and instead where bones that appeared to be made out of light, and his hands turned into clawed hands, with 3 on each. 4 wings of light form under his arms, and around his hip.(one under each arm, one on each side of hip)

Colton's face transformed at the mouth and nose, becoming a mouth of a monster.*

Finally Colton's eyes lost their pupils and each became a single color, the left became sun orange, and the right became moon blue.

Team CDRL was terrified at that point, even more so that they couldn't move.

Colton then walked slowly towards the terrified teens. Getting close enough he gives them another cold glare.

"W-w-w-w-what a-a-are y-you?" Cardin stutters out.

The look in Colton's eyes as hard to tell, but you could see it was one of an apex-predator. "A monster." Colton says calmly.

Colton then started to attack the defenseless team. He started by swiping a claw at Sky, Sky's aura went up, but that was what Colton wanted.

Colton grabs Sky's aura and pulls, breaking it immediately.*

Then Colton started to continually swipe at Sky leaving large scratches across his body before diving a claw into his chest.

Colton pulled his hand out of Sky's chest, in turn, Sky fell over, limp and unresponsive, he was dead.

Colton repeats this action with Russel, and Dove, killing them as well.

Colton turns to Cardin, if Colton could smirk while his face was partially transformed, he would.

Channeling pure-raw-magic into his claws, Colton swipes at Cardin. Cardin's aura tried to protect him, but it fails as the attack instantly shattered the aura and a large claw mark was left intended in Cardin's armor, actually scratch that(pun not intended), it went through his armor like it wasn't there.

Cardin screamed loud in pain, Colton then drives his hand through Cardin's chest, killing him like the others.

Colton hears a loud roar to his left, he turns and sees an Ursa Major glaring at him.

Colton gave off a low growl, but not a growl a human could make, but rather a growl you'd hear from an animal.

Colton watched the Ursa walk right up to him, stopping right in front of the pile of corpses that was team CDRL.

Colton flicked his wrist, causing a beam of magic to slice the Ursa's head clean off.

Colton used magic to warp the blood on his claws onto the claws of the Ursa, framing the Ursa for the death of the 4 teens.

Colton's "episode" then came to an end, causing him to revert to his complete human form, and come to his senses.

Colton, confused, looked at his hands, noticing the lack of inhibitor rings. Colton looked in his pouch, and found them. He placed the rings on his wrists, and turned the locks the rings stay on.

Colton with his rings now on, looks in front of him and his eyes widen in shock.

He collapsed onto his knees, looking at the pile of corpses in front of him, with one thought on his mind. 'D-did I do this?!'

Colton then looks at the Ursa that was slowly turning into mist. Colton saw the blood on its claws, and deducted that he moved the blood onto the Ursa as a way of framing it for the murder he committed.

Just then, Ruby, Weiss, and Pyrrha came running into view, stopping as they saw Colton, the Ursa, and the bodies.

After a minute of silence to process what they saw, Ruby spoke up. "What happened?! We heard a scream and a roar!"

Colton still in shock, musters up the will to speak. "I-I heard the scream and roar as well, I ran over here and saw the Ursa. I immediately attacked it, cutting off its head. I started to walk back, then I noticed team CDRL like this. From there, I collapsed onto my knees in shock. They may be bullies, but they didn't deserve to be mauled to death by this Ursa."

The 3 girls muster up the courage to walk up to the bodies, noticing that indeed the corpses have tones of scratches on them, ones that look deep, the marks don't look to be caused by a Beowulf, so the only cause had to be the Ursa.

"Let's get you back, we have to tell professor Goodwitch about this." Pyrrha says, offering a hand to Colton.

Colton takes the hand, letting her lift him to his feet.

"You should probably get some rest as soon as we get back to Beacon. Seeing this is incredibly disturbing." Weiss says to Everyone present.

The group of 4 started to walk back to where the bullhead was located.

/Opzin's office. Midnight.\

Ozpin looks up from the report in his hands. "It wasn't the Ursa, was it?"

Colton, who was sitting on a chair at the other side of the desk, looked down. "No. I was in the middle of an "episode" when they threw an empty jar at the back of my head."

Ozpin grimaced, then sighed. "It can't be helped now. You weren't in control, and your instincts sought to destroy the source of irritation. It is a shame though, those boys, despite their behavior, could have been great huntsmen."

Colton looked up slightly. "I'll try to keep myself in more isolated areas when I feel the next one start."

"Yes, that would help keep casualties to a minimum." Ozpin states. "Anyway, you are dismissed."

Colton nods and teleports back to his dorm room.

Now alone, Ozpin sighs. "I wish I could help him more, those rings are the best I could do."

Footnotes:

1: the "episodes" refer to when his Grimm instincts act up, and he becomes violent. Despite having free will, his Grimm tendencies aren't completely gone.

2: the inhibitor rings suppress him from using magic, other than teleportation, and also prevent him from changing into his Grimm form.

3: instead of being drawn to negative emotions like a moth to a lamp, he gets a power boost when close to those who are emitting said emotions.

4: I almost put beak, but I'm not sure if Ultra-Necrozma's mouth is more of a beak or not. Oh and btw his mouth transformed into U-Necrozma's mouth, this is his semi-state, a mix between his Grimm form and human form.

5: Salem wanted a killing machine, so she made it so his claws could not only physically interact with aura, but also be able to instantly break it. Over powered? Yes. But it only happens with the claws, not the human form. Be mindful, it's the Grimm form that's over powered, and the magic, while he has the inhibitor rings on, he's at the skill level around that of Pyrrha's, just slightly under her in terms of skill. With the rings on he really can only fight with his semblance and weapons, without the rings, he has a large pool of magic at his disposal.

Ending:

/Well that was morbid. How's that for drama?

Anyway now that I'm back in business, I expect you all to be respectful and keep any and all negative and/or criticism based comments to yourself. It's okay to not like this story, but no one needs or even wants to hear it. If you don't like it, then you don't like it, no need to go off on a rant about how much you hate it, or have to point out every little flaw you spot.

K. Bye.\
