The first thing I felt was an intense heat spreading across my entire body.

Followed quickly by pain so searing it felt like I was being torn apart limb by limb. A scream escaped my mouth as I writhed on the floor, and some part of me realised that I was being electrocuted. Badly.

"H-'s a-e! Qu-k! So-ody ge- a st-tch-r!"

God, it hurt so badly to hear, well, anything at the moment. My eyes felt like they were glued shut and it was still too bright, the light filtering in through my eyelids more than they ever had in my entire life. I couldn't smell anything either, other than the smell of half-cooked bacon.

Oh god, was that me?

"Spi-M-n! -ide-an! C- you hea- -e?!"

I tried to respond to the voice at my side, I really did. Unfortunately for both of us, though, what followed next was not a verbal response, but me throwing up everything in my stomach in the direction of the voice.

Holy shit being electrocuted sucked. Wait, how was I even being electrocuted? Last I could remember… "Agh!"

Any thoughts I had at that moment were cut off as pain jabbed down my everywhere as something grabbed me, lifting me into the air. It was only for a moment, though, and after that, I was lying on something soft and comfortable.

Comfortable enough for me too… wow, I was… tired. Maybe a nap would be good?

'Beep! Beep! Beep!'

I groaned as the high-pitched beeps hit my apparently still-sensitive ears, I did my best to grab my phone from beside my bed to turn off the alarm, but my hand was only met with empty air.

Wait.

Memories flooded back to me as my eyes flew open, my body sitting upon instinct. Walking to work, the honking of horns as a car blew through a red light. The screeching noise as they slammed on their brakes, trying to stop themselves from hitting me.

And then… I was still alive? Just… being electrocuted? How the fuck does that work?

"Good, you're awake."

I turned quickly to the voice and was immediately confused as all hell when I saw the woman who had spoken. She looked like she was slightly older than I was, but had pure white hair.

That wasn't the crazy part though. The crazy part was that saw was seemingly sitting on the fire exit outside my window? Wait, but my bedroom was on the ground floor! The woman just stared at me as I looked around the room dumbly, realising that I was in a hospital bed.

'Of course, I am! How stupid can I be? I got run over, and then electrocuted! Of course, I'm in a hospital!'

I turned back to the vaguely familiar lady and realized that she was wearing what looked like a very thin facemask, as well as a… fully black, skintight, catsuit? Wait a second…

Knock knock knock "Hello? I'm coming in!"

I'd been briefly distracted by the sound of someone knocking at the door to my hospital room, and by the time I'd turned back to the window, the woman had disappeared, as if she hadn't been there at all. And to be honest I was recovering from being electrocuted… t. There was definitely a chance that she might not have been.

Before I could say anything else, the door of the hospital room opened, and a doctor walked in. "Good morning, sir. I was very glad to see that you woke up so soon, you must be remarkably resilient to survive being electrocuted so much."

I tried to respond, but my throat was sore, and I ended up coughing a bit instead. The doctor placed a hand on my shoulder, smiling. "It's alright, you don't need to force yourself. You survived a deadly attack, you deserve to rest now."

'An attack? I was attacked?'

The doctor sighed. "I'll just be doing some basic tests, alright, just to check how you're feeling. I can't believe they still keep someone like Electro around, hasn't he proved that prisons can't really hold him?"

I nodded slowly at that, waiting for the doctor to start his tests. Then I shot upright, pain shooting through me, as what he said registered fully in my head. WAIT, Electro?!

"What?!"

My voice was scratchy and quiet, and the doctor frowned at me, shaking his head. "I was serious, don't try to talk until it feels comfortable to try. But to answer your question, you were caught up in an attack on the subway by Electro, do you not remember?"

I just blinked at the doctor, my head falling back and hitting the pillow as 'electro' ran through my head over and over again. Electro was a spiderman villain. A fictional character. How could he have attacked me!?

Wait, the car accident. The car running a red light, hitting me… I'd read enough Isekai to know where this was going.

"W-whats my name?"

The doctor frowned at that, a worried look coming onto his face as he stepped closer, shining a small flashlight into my eyes. "Hmm, small amounts of amnesia from the surge, maybe?"

Shaking their head, the doctor sighed, making eye contact with me. "Your name is Peter Benjamin Parker. You are 23 years old, and you live in Queens. Have you forgotten anything else? I would probably be able to get your friends and family in now that you've woken up to answer more… personal questions."

I shook my head quickly, not wanting to risk someone from Peter'sPeters life figuring out that I was… trespassing? Stealing his body? Whatever it was called, my breathing became shallow as my brain scrambled to acknowledge the new information.

"N-no, t-thank you. I'll be fine for n-now, I think."

The doctor nodded, a sad smile on his face. "Alright then, if you're sure. I'll get a nurse to bring you something to eat, and some water to help your throat start to heal. Have a good night, Mr Parker, I hope you recover quickly."

I tried to smile at that, and the doctor nodded to me before exiting out the door. As they did, my hands came up to cover my eyes as I tried to get my breathing under control, my heart pounding in my chest.

I had died.

I had gotten isekai'd.

And not just as myself, into the world of MARVEL, I'd been isekai'd and taken over Peter Parker's body.

Spider-man's body.

I groaned as my arms ached, and let them flop back down to the bed.

What the hell was I supposed to do now?!
