A/N: Okay, I feel so bad about this.
Basically, I got my new lead maybe around august. Except that by the time that happened, all my inspiration for this story was gone! D:
So, I put it off for a long time. And I mean A LONG time. I got really into Homestuck, then Once Upon a Time, then Homestuck again, then I just stopped updating all together once school started back up, cause well I got so tired cause its High School and theres more homework and stuff then I made friends and stuff and just, I actually havent update anything since, well technically November but that was really just a quick half assed chapter, so the last time I really made a chapter that I actually cared about was near the end of August.
I've wanted to! I just, had some stuff going on. I won't lie, there was a lot of romantic crap going on with me, plus last semester I had Math which was really difficult for me, but this semester I have English, and Science, as well as PE and Drama, which don't seem that hard except for Science, unlike last semester where I had workplace safety as well as social, plus math.
Anyway, this chapter WILL be fairly short, however. The next chapter will be much longer! :D I think it should be mentioned that I did originally have this chapter half way done, but somehow it got lost or deleted or somefin. So I now have to start over.
I've talked for long enough. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.
As Kella entered the familiar room she couldn't help but smile as she made her way across the stone path before she hopped off of the stone and into the water. She was about to scoop some of the water, that was supposed to have healing properties, when she spotted a goddess cube sat there in the water. "How did I miss that before?" She murmured, with a shrug, before she charged her sword with the skyward strike before she slashed her sword through the air causing a whirl of blue light to hit the cube head on before he shrunk down into a smaller ball of light for a second before it shot up into the sky.
She glanced down at her clothes and, even though her wounds were now healed, there was drying blood all over her clothes. She sighed before she abruptly scooped up a bottle filled with water from the spring. She walked over to the golden door before she walked back into the boss room, and from there she walked back throughout the temple, taking her time.
"Yes! Look at that color! There is no doubt that is the water that I need." Kella raised an eyebrow.
"Would I bring it here if it wasn't?" She snapped irritably. Faron ignored her with a sniff.
"Quickly, girl, pour it in!" The dragon snapped. She rolled her eyes before she pulled the cap off of the bottle and poured the sacred water into the basin. The whole basin started to shake before the water dragon sprung from it. "MMMMMMMMMMMM! EXQUISITE! I can feel it's power surging through me!"
"Well, she sure got over that quick." She muttered.
"Behold! The full majesty of Faron, Water Dragon and guardian of these lands! I stand tall! Healed, and whole once again!" Faron's voice boomed around the cavern, causing the water that surrounded them to ripple. "Human, you have done well to bring me the sacred water I asked for." She raised an eyebrow at the dragon as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I see now it was no coincidence that you completed the goddesses trial and obtained a Water Dragon's Scale."
She huffed in annoyance. "Jeez, love the faith."
"I will lead you to the sacred flame of my land." This caught her attention and she perked up slightly.
"Yes. I mean, just," She grinned slightly. "Fuck yeah."
The dragon sighed. "Come." She said before leading the way through a tunnel. Kella wasted no time in hurrying after her, jumping into the water in a swift dive before she swam over to the ledge and twirled in a swift canon dive out of the water and onto the ledge. She hurried through the tunnel after Faron and stopped at the end of a stone path. There was a waterfall at the end of the path, with water surrounding the stone path all around, lily pads floating in the water.
"Now. Behold." Faron turned to the water fall and shoved two of her, fins? Hands? Paws? Claws? Kella didn't even know what to call them. Whatever they were, they shoved them into the waterfall, causing it to actually move up until it was, actually squashed out of existence. "Go. The sacred Flame you seek lies in this place." She turned to look up at the Dragon. "While the waterfall has barred entrance to this place for many years, monsters have still found a way in. And inside...they flourish."
Kella narrowed her eyes. "Hm... What else is new." She grumbled in annoyance.
"Ah, but you are the Goddess's chosen hero. Swatting a few monsters will be no trouble for you." Faron said. "I imagine you and I will cross paths again. Until then, do not lower your guard." She added before she sped away past her, back to her cave.
Kella stared after her for a moment before she looked down at her feet, her eyes drifting and taking in the dried up blood and dirt on her tunic, as well as the rips and tears in it. She closed her eyes, not wanting to look at it anymore. She could practically feel his hands on her, his cold breath on her neck, his lips on hers. She shook her head as she opened her eyes, dispersing the thoughts from her mind before she to where the dragon had disappeared. "I can't afford to let my guard down." She whispered as she stared down at her hand before she balled it into a tight fist. "Not anymore.
When she entered the temple she was greeted with water, huge as fuck lily pads all over the water, paths running around the edge, and a big tower with a statue on the top with its tongue sticking out. "What is it with the bloody surface and it's...creation of things with long, creepy as fuck tongues!" She exclaimed with a shiver.
With that said, she then proceeded through the temple, fighting any monsters she encountered. It didn't take her long to encounter a room. A room that she had to drop down into. A room that had bars on the door. A room, that had a four armed stalfos in it. One that awoke as soon as she landed in the room.
"Shit. SHit. SHIT!" She cursed in dread.
Before she knew it, she had actually progressed fairly far through the temple. She had defeated the stalfos, losing some health and gaining some injuries, nothing nearly as bad as what she has received from Ghirahim. She then got the dungeon item, which was a fucking whip. She was so happy she had this and Ghirahim did not. She could only imagine what he might do if he had a weapon like this. For all she knew, he did. She shook her head. "God damn it." She exclaimed in annoyance as she slammed her palm against her head. "Stop, stop, stop, you bastard, get out of my head!"
She continued on through the temple, somehow ending up with a map of the temple. She walked through the temple, holding the map up in front of her as she walked. She walked and did necessary things. One moment she was up above where there was beautiful scenery, clean water, then she lowered the map from her face down to her side in order to see whether or not she was going to run into something, inanimate or not, and was surprised by what she saw.
She was somewhere underground. The walls were purple and grey. The water was red and purple, and as for the bokoblins? They were moving like zombies! Like from the fairytales! They weren't even red or blue or even green. They were purple! One clung to her back while another one clung to her face. "Ack! Get! Off!" She screamed in shock before she gripped her sword tightly before she spun around in a quick, complete, blurry circle causing them to fall off of her. She stabbed them, even beheaded one but they still. Wouldn't. Die!
"Okay..., Plan B. RUN!" She exclaimed, more to herself than anyone else as she ran throughout the entire underground hell. She jumped onto vines in a hurry, completed the puzzles in a panicked rush, before she finally came to something she never wanted to.
It was a hillside, for all intense and purposes. Except for the fact that instead of grass, it was bones. There was a big bright beam of light at the top of the roof, and a string that lead down from the beam of light to the hill of bones. She climbed to the top of the hill and gave the rope and experimental tug. She smiled, given her surroundings a wary look before she abruptly started to climb up the rope.
"Okay, so far so-" She broke off as she felt a large weight on the rope. She held on tightly to the rope with one hand and let go with her other hand so that she could look down. "Fuck." She exclaimed as she saw the cursed bokoblins start to climb up after her. "So far so bad so far so bad so far so bad!" She exclaimed in fright as she climbed with both hands now quickly. One of the bokoblins clung to her back, causing her to grit her teeth but continue to climb anyway. "HOW ARE THESE THINGS FASTER THAN ME!" She cried as she continued to climb. She gritted her teeth before she shook herself swiftly from side to side, causing the bokoblin to fall off of her back, falling to the ground and knocking another bokoblin off with it. She climbed up higher and higher in a flurry of adrenaline from the panic before she finally made it at the top.
She didnt even bother wasting her time with the stone scripture. She went right to hitting the switches with her whip before dragging them down. She turned back to the hole that led to underground before she lowered herself down to the underground hill of bones, cringing slightly.
She continued her descend through the underground hell, swiftly, and always on edge. She hit switches, activated short cuts, and avoided bokoblins.
Before she knew what had happened she had the ancient carving. She would've done a victory dance, had she not been surrounded by cursed bokoblins. She glared at the nearest one.
"You know what? I am so sick of the lot of you!" She snapped.
Okay, so not exactly short, as I thought it would be, though I blame that on the author's note, I don't know how long the next chapter will be. :/ Anyways! I promise Ghirahim in the next chappie!
