She abruptly slashed at each of the bokoblins, knocking them all down before she ran up the ledge, and up out of the dark underground. Once she got to the big door with the flower lock she wasted no time by flipping the key around and just forced it in. The passage opened revealing a set of steps. At the top of the stairs was a door, which she didn't even pause to examine before opening and going through.
As she walked into the room, a loud SNAP followed by a thud from behind her caused her to turn around quickly. Her eyes narrowed as she saw that a set of iron bars had falling over the door. She would have looked for some switch or something if the sound of dark, familiar, cold, bone chilling laughter hadn't filled the room, causing her to freeze, her arm halfway towards the door, frozen in place, her eyes wide.
She forced herself to move, unsheathing her sword and spinning around, half expecting him to be there, right in front of her. She looked around and it didn't take long for her to spot him, sat on the top of a statue, one leg crossed over the other with his elbow pressed against his knee, his chin in his hand.
"You certainly are persistent..." He commented with a sly smirk. She didn't respond, simply gripped her sword and shield tightly, making sure that she remained as calm as possible on the outside. Even if she was panicking on the inside. "I'm terribly busy trying to find the clues that will help me revive the demon king." He said with a dark look. It was then she noticed the dark atmosphere in the room. "Your incessant buzzing around my head like some irksome gadfly when I'm this busy is...well it;s making me very disagreeable."
"When aren't you?" She said, smirking slightly. 'Again? Really? You really have a death wish.' She thought to herself. Ghirahim raised his hand and snapped his fingers, disappearing. She expected him to appear behind her, which was blatantly obvious by the fact that she spun around and slashed the air behind her. A powering up noise sounded behind her causing her to turn back around, eyes narrowed slightly as the big robot awakened.
"Okay. Okay. Oka- Okay, no, no no no no no no no shit!" She exclaimed as she dodged the giant hands, nearly getting squashed in the progress. She blinked in surprise as it got its hand stuck in the ground. She notice that over by it's elbow looked fragile. She narrowed her eyes before she glanced into her bag at her whip. She pulled it out before she swung it, wrapping the tendril part around Koloktos' arm before she pulled hard, causing it to be ripped off.
As the robot did it again, she hopped to the side, this time using her whip immediately to rip off his arm. She was forced to do a back flip, after backing up a little, to dodge his next attack, which was two arms hammering down onto her. She quickly whipped off one arm, and then the next. She ran forward and started to hack away at the red eye, again and again until it finally summoned its arms back onto it's body. She smirked before she swiftly repeated the process.
She smirked at the robot, thinking she had won, however her smile quickly faded as soon as she saw it summon six swords, one in each hand, and pull itself out of the ground. "shitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitshit!" She cursed as she ran away from it. She paused to catch her breath, only to get knocked to the ground by one of the robot's swords. She scrambled to her feet and quickly as she could, ripped off the arms at the point that the joined, causing all three to fall off his body. She blinked as the shining gigantic blades caught her attention.
She quickly picked one up, which took a lot of strength out of her. She staggered over to the robot before she started to hack at him. Hacking away his legs, and arms. His shield and finally the eye that lay underneath. He started to malfunction but then, he turned purple and was just there. Frozen. She poked it with her personal sword, dropping the giant one, not knowing what was going on.
Clapping. It echoed around the room. "Well done Sky Child. It seems no matter what I throw at you, you always seem to repel my plans." She turned around to see Ghirahim there.
"Well, what other fun am I supposed to find on this quest? Your little temper tantrums sure do brighten up my day." She said sarcastically.
He raised an eyebrow at her before he grinned ever so slightly at her. She looked at him through narrowed eyes, smirk turning into a frown as they continued their stare off. The moment he disappeared, she felt something on her neck. She glanced behind her to see that it was her whip. In the hands of her favorite demon lord. She spun around, fists on her hips. "Hey! That's mine!" She snapped irritably before she reached for it, only for the demon lord to pull it out of reach.
"It does appear so." He smirked at her. "You really should take better care of such lethal weapons, sky child. They could fall into the wrong hands."
She glared at him. "Give it back, or I swear to Hylia, I'll cut you!" She snapped, grip on her sword tightening. He raised an eyebrow at her, evidently not impressed. She growled at him before she picked up one of the big swords and slashed it at him. He simply caught it in his hand with a sick grin before he ripped it from her, barely giving her a chance to blink before he struck her with it.
Pain seared through her entire body. Her vision was blurry, so many black dots clouding her vision that it was almost like she was blind. She felt herself it the ground hard and roll across the floor. She kept on rolling until she hit something hard. She groaned, pressing one hand to the back of her head, she blinked several times to clear her vision enough to look down at her hand and notice it was covered in blood. She didn't even stop to think where Ghirahim was, just simply sat up, taking her hat off and using it to put pressure on her throbbing head wound.
She suddenly felt a harsh pain to her back before she was sent skidding back across the room. 'I forgot about him!' She realised too later. 'Come on. Come on! Move!' She scream-thought to herself, freaking out internally. Despite the pain she felt, both from the battle with Koloktos and from the injuries she had just received, she rushed to her feet quickly, gripping her sword and shield tight and letting her bloody hat fall to the ground.
"Are you going to start fighting again, sky-child? Tsk tsk." He said, with a grin, from the other side of the room.
"Always." She growled out, glaring darkly at him, sweat rolling down her brow.
His grin terrified her to the core. He had no weapon anymore, having discarded her whip. 'When did he do that?' She thought.
"Scared, sky-child?" She mentally shook herself. 'Don't let your guard down!' She mentally yelled at herself. 'That's how he keeps on winning!' He tossed his head back and let out a loud, cold, dark laugh.
"Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Bastard!" She pretty much yelled at him.
He narrowed his eyes dangerously at her before he brought his hand up and snapped his fingers, disappearing in a cloud of diamonds. She didn't have any time to time to panic or brace herself. The moment he had disappeared completely, she felt his hands on her.
She gritted her teeth in disgust, moving so that she could slash him away from her. However she didn't get the chance. Ghirahim had one arm wrapped around her neck, his elbow on her left shoulder with his hand firmly gripping her right shoulder. He had both her arms in a tight lock with his free hand. "Not this time Skychild."
Her eyes widened as she found that she couldn't move. The blood from the wound on the back of her head had split three ways. Into three different lines of blood. One line of blood went along her left shoulder, running down her arm, under her clothes, and dripping off her fingers onto the floor. The second trail of blood followed much the same path as the first one, except that it was on her right shoulder and arm. The only other difference was the fact that the cloth and fabric of her tunic was ripped, making the blood on her arm very visible.
He smirked at her before he spun her around to face him, a wicked grin on his face. "You disgust me, Demon!" She yelled in his face. He frowned slightly before he threw her across the room causing her to crash into the still frozen robot. She let out a groan of pain as she slunk slowly to the ground.
She shook her head, panicking slightly as she tried to get up and defend herself.
His laughter sounded behind her, loud and manic. She spun around quickly, withdrawing her sword and slashing at him, again and again until he disappeared into a flurry of diamonds. She didn't stop in her assault, she simply spun around and continued to slash away at the Demon Lord.
"Mistress Kella, there is a 88% chance that if you continue at this rate, with the injuries you have sustained, you will collapse from exhaustion before long. My analysis suggests that this could result in your demise." Fi's voice echoed inside her head.
"Shit. Okay. Okay, Fi, I'll...consider that."
"But Mistress-"
"Fi, you really think there is any better course of action?" She snapped, not caring that she had slowed down her assault on him, and was now glaring at her sword.
"Very well Mistress. I will leave you b-" The sword spirit was silenced as the sword was ripped from her grasp, and tossed across the room.
"Maybe you should pay more attention." Ghirahim said, his eyes dark and menacing.
She opened her mouth to make a scathing retort but, she didn't get the chance because she suddenly found her wrists pinned to the wall. Th demon lord smirked at her. "I have toyed with you long enough." He sneered in her face before he adjusted it so that he was pinning her wrists above her head. She twisted to try to get out of his grip but Ghirahim wasn't in the mood to put up with her rebellion any more. He dug his sharp "claws" into her wrist before he dragged them along her wrists and down her arms, causing her to cry out in pain.
He smirked as he gripped her chin with his free hand, forcing her to look at him. She glared at him and was about to yell at him to release her when he smashed his lips against hers. 'Again with the kissing? What the fuck? The guy is hot one moment and cold the next!'
This time, however, was very different than all the other times he had kissed her. Not the way he kissed her, that didn't change. What did change had to do with her. It was something that both surprised her and terrified her. She had found this discovery, which nearly caused her to break down. What had changed in regards to her?
She enjoyed it.
"Mm..." She groaned, causing Ghirahim's lips to turn upwards into a curved smile. She closed her eyes as she felt his wet slippery tongue in her mouth. She didn't know why, but she wasn't thinking much about the fact that he had tried to kill her on multiple occasions, or that he had tormented her for months. Her thoughts were all a jumble, she could barely take it.
He bit down on her lip with sharp teeth, causing her eyes to fly open in shock from the sudden pain.
He pulled back, chuckling darkly before he pulled out a dagger and swiftly drove it into her rib cage, her scream of pain like sweet music to his ears.
"Until next time, Sky Child." He said, snapping his fingers and disappearing.
She fell to the ground in a crumple heap. She looked up to see that the robot was now in a million pieces and a heart container lay in the middle of the floor.
She dragged herself over to the heart container before she quickly pulled the knife out of her. She coughed up blood before she quickly ate the heart container. It healed the wound in her torso, as well as most of the one on her head, however the split lip she had from when Ghirahim had bit her lip as well as the several scratch marks she had hadn't healed.
She glanced down at her wrists which were now red and bloody. She got to her feet and, even after she obtained the flame, she felt like throwing herself off of skyloft.
"God dammit. Next time, I swear, I will not let you get the best of me!"
A few things, First off, most of this chapter was written in class today, so I was basically doing my school work, paying attention to what the teacher said, planning stuff for this story, making sure no teachers noticed I was writing instead of working all whilst writing this, so a majority of this I just typed up, taking out a bunch of what I originally had.
Secondly, Due to the fact that I can't for the life of me, figure out a way to interpret Ghirahim into the Lanayru sacred flame quest thing, I'll be skipping that section and be going straight to the quest for the Eldin Sacred flame. I will also put a reminder of that at the beginning of the next chapter in case some people don't read this and if I still get reviews asking me about it Ill make an author's note chapter explaining this.
Well, anyway, I would go further into debt about other plans and stuff but it's 12:31 am here and I won't be ditching school tomorrow cause then Ill have to be doing school work at home whilst dealing with the fam.
G'Night, my lovelies!
