Chapter 2

The next morning

The campers woke up once again found themselves in the mess hall. Duncan was still exhausted by Harold's snoring with the latter claiming it was a medical condition and yelling "Gosh!" as an act of frustration. Ironically the nerdy boy had a moustache drawn onto his face as vengeance. Meanwhile Gwen was exhausted as she outlasted her teammates in staying awake. So while some are still in dire need of rest, others are conversing as they await for whatever trial Chris places onto them.

That or waiting to see who pisses of Naruto for today.

However Heather seemed to be the most calculative today as she conversed with her alliance members, Lindsay and Beth. It was mostly one sided as it involved those two having to listen and obey Heather's every command. This manipulative teenager found it easy as the other two lacked intelligence to predict her ways. Which didn't help as Heather had eventually gotten something out of Naruto to give her a small edge in the challenge after repeatedly bothering him earlier.

Heather's Confessional

Heather sighed, "Well it took a lot and even though, he did tell me a lot of things I want. They're utterly useless since I can't have get them myself." she said as she looked away and pulled out a small sheet from her pocket. Heather smiled as she opened it up without letting the viewers see the contents, "I did manage to get this. A mostly accurate fortune teller." she said as she tried her best to let the message appear on the camera.

The fool who keeps the beast awaken will become the hero.

There is no absolute perfect victory.

Armies collapse because of distrust, arrogance, corruption or because they are close to meeting their end goal.

"Ok I didn't get most of these, but I think what that dragon tried to tell me is that Lindsay and Beth might stab me in the back. Sooo... I think I should keep them on a tight leash until the end." Heather said with a laugh before putting away the paper.

A little while later

Now the next challenge was ready to begin, "Welcome everyone to your next challenge. Today we will be playing, Dodgeball!" Chris announced cheerfully.

What was meant to be the most basic and likely least dangerous challenge in the series. Would actually become a death trap. For after Chris explained the basics of the rules which pretty much followed the same rules that a typical high school uses. Noah in his finite wisdom decided to speak.

"Wow, throwing balls. Such a mental challenge." Noah said sarcastically.

"Consider it more of a physical challenge Noah and thanks to you. I almost forgot the best part." Chris said as he pulled out a hand held radio. "Ok Bradley, you can come in now." he said over the radio as a large robot with two arm cannons piloted by a skunk came crashing through the wall.

The skunk named Bradley snickered as he aimed his weapons at all the teenagers. Leaving everyone very afraid of what Chris was planning to do to them.

"This is Bradley, he's another sidekick belonging to Naruto. As an added bonus, if no one gets hit within a certain amount of time. Well... you show them Bradley." Chris said as Naruto's familiar proceeded to fire a random dodgeball into a wall that exploded and released a disgusting gas fragrance.

"Ew!" most of the campers exclaimed in disgust as Chris laughed.

"Haha, good thing you reminded me Noah." Chris said as everyone glared at the brainiac. And that's when Naruto arrived to spectate, "Oh hey buddy, here show these guys how to throw a dodgeball." he said as he was secretly covered incantations.

Chris was sadistic but not insane. He knew better than to test the Dragon of the Apocalypse. So that's why he managed to convince Naruto to give him and Chef some amulets and tools to survive heavy damage especially from magic. Which was perfected when it was meant to negate chakra when they were first created. So the host of the show was more than ready to be hit by something he expected to feel like an artillery round.

"So wait, what do we do when the balls is coming at us?" Lindsay suddenly asked as Naruto held back a lot of his strength.

"You try to dodge." Chris said as he blocked the ball and accidentally reflected it back at Lindsay's face. "It's a good thing the big guy held back." he said as he winced at sight of Lindsay's giant forehead lump.

"Try fighting in the desert Chris. At least the kids don't need to worry about constant earthquakes." Chef said remembering Kuwait.

Chris chuckled, "That reminds me, the first challenge was a test, but after the Awakeathon. I'm pleased to announce that every time you win a challenge you will be given this special flute." he said presenting a small case with a pristine looking flute inside. He then handed it over to Trent who was the musician of the team, "It can only be used once per challenge. So either Naruto or a certain friend of his will show up and help you however they can." he explained.

"Music, gym, what is this? High school?" Cody asked as he looked at the instrument.

"Whatever, any reward is a good reward." Heather said liking the idea of the living apocalypse siding with them.

Leaving Courtney and the rest of the Killer Bass feeling that the flute is unfair. Then again, a few them did thing it would be helpful if they got one of their own. Naruto is primarily neutral and only steps in when he thinks it's necessary. So he's not going to hold back on either side, but the wild card is if someone else is summoned instead.

Round 1

Tyler managed to avoid the first dodgeball and began to spin around before throwing his ball with all the energy he had. Only for it to fly out of his hand and smack Sadie right in the face. This earned a look of anger and disappointment from Courtney.

"Hit someone on their team!" Courtney said berating him and handing him a ball.

Only for Owen to rush at them and unleashing a powerful throw at Tyler who crashed into the wall. Naruto could swear that Owen could have shattered the sound barrier if his throw was stronger and Tyler didn't have the wall to stop him. Though there was a chance the track suit wearing boy likely had some shattered ribs. Nonetheless, Chef counted Tyler out for being hit.

Seeing his teammate leave, Harold stepped up, "Time to unleash my wicked skills." he said.

Then Leshawna chose to challenge him, "Let's see what you got string bean!" she told him.

Harold accepted the challenge and slammed the ball on the floor for reasons no one understood. This ended with the ball landing in front of Leshawna who took it and gave a Harold a predatory grin. To which Harold responded by running and screaming with a high pitched voice. Then being hit hard enough for to land face first into the wall.

Losing another teammate, it was time for the Killer Bass to fight back. In the form of Sadie who aimed for Lindsay who was still clueless as ever.

"Can someone tell me what this is for again?" Lindsay asked before Katie hit her hard enough to create another lump on her face.

After a few minutes of the balls being thrown around. All that stood was Cody against DJ and Katie who gave him scary smiles. With Courtney letting them know to go easy seeing as she underestimated the boy. However it ended with Cody using physics to somehow make the dodgeball hit DJ from behind along with charging up another ball with electricity make Katie crash into a wall.

However Naruto gave Cody a suspicious look and pulled out a small device, 'What is this boy's mana count?' he thought as he could hardly detect anything outside of himself.

Round 2

For some reason, the Killer Bass handed Tyler all of the dodgeballs where he proceeded to spin around before throwing each ball individually. All it did was hit Chef in the gut, nearly hit Chris and one burn up as it approached Naruto's personal space. Unaware of the former blond's ire, Tyler did end up hitting Lindsay which gave her a third lump on her face.

Seeing his crush still on the ground, Tyler ran towards her and helped her up, "Is my face ok?" she asked.

"Yeah, you're beautiful." Tyler said ignoring the bruising.

This did earn Lindsay's attraction at the cost of Trent casually hitting Tyler. Which gave him the chance to ask Lindsay if she wanted to go on a walk with him. Which she gladly accepted much to Heather's ire. However it did get more hilarious as Owen screamed bloody vengeance for Lindsay by taking everyone's balls and hitting Bridgette, Geoff, Katie and Sadie as hard as possible.

Round 3

Seeing as Heather was taunting them, Courtney needed a new plan, "We have to wake up Duncan." she said scaring her teammates. She understood the reason for the fear, "Look, we need our strongest and scariest player on our team." she said turning to the sleeping delinquent.

"I'm not touching him." Harold said fearfully.

"Well you're the most expendable one on our team." Courtney said offending the teen with the "mad skills" who still refused to go near Duncan.

Meanwhile the arrogance only continued, "Wow, looks like that stupid flute was pretty useless." Noah spoke up without looking out of his book.

"You think so Noah?" Chris asked with his smile ever present on his face.

"Yeah, pretty much." Noah answered though that put everyone on his team on edge.

"I see, well if you don't want it. I guess maybe someone on the Killer Bass wants it." Chris said as he picked up the clute case as it was just lying by itself and open for anyone to take.

"Hey you can't do that!" Heather spoke up.

"Too late." Chris said as he handed over the instrument to Courtney.

"Ha! Now we have Naruto on our side!" Courtney said looking cocky.

"He's not here anymore." Bridgette said pointing out that Naruto wasn't in the arena anymore.

Courtney did get nervous but felt reassured in gaining a new tool, "Well we just need to call him back. What else is the flute used for?" she asked.

As Courtney gently took out the pristine looking flute and noticed a small paper beside it. Once opening it up, she noticed the music sheet used by well trained musicians along with the other side which could help amateurs. Sadly Courtney couldn't read either one.

"Does anyone know how to play?" Courtney asked her teammates.

Back with the Gophers, the entire team glared at Noah, "What? What good is it if no one can play?" he asked.

"We have a musician string bean!" Leshawna said angrily.

"Even if I don't try. There's instructions for it inside the case." Trent said agreeing with how much Noah screwed up.

"You know, for all those book smarts. You really don't know how to use it." Gwen commented.

Cody's Confessional

"Hey my baby maker was used as a shield for Gwen! We can't lose after that!" Cody said with a scared face. His face immediately looked lovey dovey afterwards, "Then again, I'd do it over and over for Gwen." he said sounding lovestruck.

Back to the game

Before Noah could even think of a good counter. He saw DJ and Harold raise their hands. Clearly stating that they either know how to play or have some knowledge to help them.

"I learned a lot of instruments at Music Steve's Music Camp." Harold said.

"And mama wanted me to try to learn some music. So I know that and the maracas." DJ said.

Courtney smiled as she presented the flute to them, "Who wants to give it a try?" she asked.

The two boys thought it over, "If we win, you get the next one." DJ told Harold who nodded.

As this went on, Chef looked impatient and pointed to a watch that was on hand. Signalling them to hurry up and create their formation. Even Bradley already fell asleep seeing as the alarm hasn't gone off for him to unleash his mechanical nightmare upon the campers. However all those thoughts were tuned out by DJ's music playing a soft tune. A little beautiful for some while giving that sense of peace.

(Zen Aku flute)

For some reason it only made Gwen and Duncan feel even more exhausted. By the time DJ had finished playing the song, the flute melted away into a golden liquid before transforming into a sand like substance and finally scattering into the wind. Everyone panicked thinking the flute failed.

But in actuality, it did work, Naruto suddenly appeared from a magic circle, "The Gophers seem in good stance. What do they need me for?" he asked Chris.

Chris chuckled, "Not them man, Noah here says the Gophers didn't want it and kindly asked me to give it away to the Bass." he said as Naruto could sense some lies but didn't care.

Naruto then walked towards the Killer Bass, "What do you need?" he asked.

Courtney pointed to Duncan, "We need to wake him up so he can help us win." she answered.

Naruto sighed as approached Duncan and slapped him hard on the back. For a brief moment the entire Killer Bass gasped before remembering who they were dealing with. Sadly Duncan was not as cautious and almost broke his hand when Naruto summoned his scales to stop the attack. The juvenile delinquent winced in pain before realizing who he tried to punch.

"Ah... what happened?" Duncan asked.

"You're being drafted." Naruto said pointing to his teammates.

"Hey I know I tried to hit you, but could I at least get something to wake me up?" Duncan asked as he yawned.

"Invigorate." Naruto casted over the entire Killer Bass. While he was at it, he gave them one more enhancement, "Masukukaja." he casted and gave the team a temporary agility increase.

"Ok I admit that feels a lot better." Duncan said as he forgot his back pain and lost his exhaustion as he went to strategize with his teammates.

3 rounds later

Duncan had revealed a simple yet effective plan from juvenile hall. The goal is to avoid all the balls before launching them all at once at one target at a time. Which already scored them three wins and it helped that the two spells energized everyone and increased their ability to dodge. Though for everyone who played (Harold who Courtney benched) had lost the effect of the spell. Now on their final round, the Killer Bass attempted to take this chance as their first win in the season only to feel that their bodies returned to their average state.

Which sadly left Duncan alone with Courtney against Gwen, Heather and Leshawna. Somehow this ended with a bitter fight where no one could get hit. Thus reminding everyone about their impending doom as they heard a shot clock go off. Followed by the sounds of a beautiful yet very intense sounding melody of violins coming from Shiro and Kurama who hid themselves somewhere.

(High School DxD OST - Utsukushiku Akai)

This made Duncan nervous, "Why do I hear boss music?" he asked just as Bradley could be heard laughing like a mad man as he piloted the robot suit.

"Everyone get down!" Gwen yelled Bradley started unleashing various dodgeballs with mystery contents.

One narrowly took off Leshawna's head but only revealed a sticky gum like substance. Meanwhile Heather was actually hit with one covered in honey. That somehow attracted bees and made her run out of the court to escape them. Which gave Lindsay another chance to sneak out Tyler despite Heather having attacked the track suit wearing teen with a canoe. However it only got worse as Courtney got in the face with one filled with Bradley's disgusting gas.

"Why do I feel like that's the least worst thing?" Gwen asked as she saw Courtney run away.

"I don't Gwen, but Leshawna knows it ain't over until that robot is out of balls or someone loses." Leshawna said to her teammate before being hit with a ball containing a minor controlled explosion.

"Hey are you ok!?" Gwen asked.

Leshawna coughed a bit before standing up, "It's fine girl, just a small pop." she answered only for Duncan to have it worse.

For his ball hit him as hard as Owen's balls do and created a bigger explosion, "Why me!?" he asked as the Gophers won their third round.

"It's three to three! You can calm down now Bradley!" Chris said only for the skunk to panic as he jumped off as the robot continued unleashing explosive balls all over the dodgeball court making everyone run away in terror.

Leaving the whole place to be filled with explosions and other various acts of destruction upon the custom made dodgeball court. Along with the machine also imploding and leaving a giant crater in whatever survived. This left Chris feeling a bit nervous as he pulled out a radio.

"Gonna need someone to rewind that." Chris said as he saw Kurama walking out while covered in smoke and dust.

This time the fox was not laughing as he collapsed on his back. This also made Chris nervous as he looked at the camera.

"No animals were harmed during the production of Total Drama Island. Mythical animals however do not count." Chris said as Shiro also came out covered in burn marks. "We'll be right back." he said as the show went to commercial.

(End of Song)

A while later

The campers were both shocked and scared to find the dodgeball court in perfect condition prior to its destruction. Though a couple of them noticed some disgruntled interns glaring and shushing at each other before scurrying off just as the cameras started up again.

"And we're back and look what we have here. Thanks to our capable interns, we can finally wrap up the challenge." Chris said ignoring the curious looks from the cast.

At the same time, Shiro and Kurama were being pulled away on stretchers as Bradley was too scared to go near his robot.

Final round

After a mediocre dodgeball game, all that was left was a confident looking Owen and average looking Harold who wasn't confident or scared. Seeing that it was time to score the win despite the setbacks caused by Noah. Owen grabbed the first ball on his side of the court and tossed it right at Harold who dodged it with ease. Then another one which almost scuffed his cheek. Followed by a third that he had to jump over. No one realized until now that the Mukukaja on Harold hasn't been removed due to inactivity.

As it still had enough energy for the final ball Owen had. Though it wouldn't help as much as the large teen put all the pressure he had into the ball and made Harold almost crash into the wall. However the nerd stood tall and revealed that he managed to catch the ball despite the amount of force Owen put into it.

"The Killer Bass win!" Chris announced as the whole team cheered for their first win of the season.

Sadly Owen collapsed to his knees in anguish, "NOOOO!" he screamed in defeat.

What was actually more sad was that everyone gave Noah angry looks. It was safe to say that the team player who realized he was defeated was not going home tonight. Rather the one who was not a part of the team at all.

Bonfire, later that night

It was a new setting for the Screaming Gophers as they now sat in their first defeat. As Chris then started reminding them of their usual rules for elimination as Chef prepared the Boat of Losers. Just waiting for whomever had lost and was prepared to take them home. Though that wasn't the entire truth. There was a small catch when it came to transporting the loser that was voted out. That would be a story told for another night, for tonight sat two individuals with only one marshmallow on Chris's plate.

"And once again, you can never come back to island, ever!" Chris warned them as he picked up the marshmallow.

The final two was a somewhat nervous looking Lindsay. Today's faults were mostly her being beaten by the dodgeball like a boxer would beat a punching bag. Along with breaking Heather's alliance rules in regards to trying to date Tyler who is on the opposing team.

As for Noah, he looked smug and confident. Believing that his intelligence increases his importance over actual participation in the challenge. Which he used neither of and gave the Killer Bass the flute that determined their victory. Not only that, but now the Killer Bass would be presented with another flute should the need arise again.

This arrogance is what will cost him. For these challenges are like the real world in a way. You need intelligence and participation to develop skill. The game itself can't be considered flawed if it requires actual work rather than thinking.

"Lindsay, hopefully you won't worry about getting hit in the face again... because Noah is going home tonight!" Chris said as he tossed the marshmallow at Lindsay.

"WHAT!?" Noah asked in outrage. "Well thanks a lot! You guys got rid of the only person with any brains on this team!" he said angrily only for everyone to throw their marshmallows at him.

"The measure of intelligence is the ability to change." Naruto said from behind Noah.

"Are you saying I'm useless?" Noah asked.

"In a way, if you have intelligence. Take a guess what will happen next." Naruto said.

"Pfft, I walk down to the Boat of LOSEEEEERS...!" Noah yelled as he suddenly found himself pulled into the boat with a mysterious fishing line that was hanged onto his shorts.

Chris laughed, "Ok what was that saying from? Was it an action movie?" he asked.

"Albert Einstein." Naruto corrected as he saw Noah being whisked away into the boat. He then turned to the Screaming Gophers, "Let this be a lesson to all of you. Arrogance kills, if you have no doubt that you are the best then have the skills to prove them. So either work together or learn to survive on your own." he said before leaving.

Heather's confessional

Heather scoffed, "Teamwork? I think Lindsay and Beth are enough, but Leshawna and Gwen? Like I wanna deal with some large girl or some goth. Let alone the rest of those losers. I already have my predictions." she said while pulling out her paper. "It should have been obvious that we aren't perfect, but I should have known some nerdy loser like Noah would screw this up." she said remembering the prophecy of armies collapsing.

Owen's Confessional

"It was tough seeing Noah go, but Naruto is right. You gotta be a team player here." Owen said remembering how fast the Killer Bass were for him to keep up with.

Beth's Confessional

Beth gasped, "Does that mean I should keep listening to Heather? I know it's a team inside a team, but does that mean if me and Lindsay stop listening to her we might get eliminated?" she asked fearfully.

Gwen's Confessional

"I admit, Naruto is smart but he forgets one thing." Gwen said before taking a brief pause. "We are all going to backstab each other in the near future. At least that's what I think." she said partially aware of how correct she is.

Naruto's Confessional

"It was a test, the real interesting factor is seeing who actually listens and follows through my advice. Do not correct a fool for he will hate you; correct a wise man and he will appreciate you." Naruto said lacking hope for humanity.

The next day, stage

Lindsay looked at the stage in awe, "Are we going to see a musical? I love musicals!" she said joyfully.

Instead they got Chris who had no musical skill to present them. Instead, he gave them the usual agenda. No, it was not torture. He's saving that one for later in the week.

"Today's challenge is a summer camp favorite, a talent contest." Chris said getting some excitement from the campers. "So you're free to sing, dance and do whatever to your heart's content. The only catch, it has to be legal." he said earning a frustrated look from Duncan.

Just as Chris was about to finish up. Everyone turned to see Harold being hit by a giant meatball.

"GOSH! Who the heck threw that!?" Harold asked as he saw Bradley, Kurama and Shiro snickering while holding a giant handmade cannon.

"HAHAHA! Ok, can we team up with those guys?" Geoff asked as he pointed to the animal familiars.

"No can do Geoff." Chris said as he heard the three animals whine. "But, I can give you this. For winning the last challenge, the Killer Bass get the flute. Unless you wanna give it away that is." he said as everyone stood up.

"No, we do want it!" Courtney yelled as she quickly took the flute case.

"Cool, anyways you got 8 hours to decide who's performing. It's three on three and Chef is going to be judging everyone." Chris added before everyone dispersed.

A while later

Both teams were hard at work to show off their talents and impressive skills. With some being either ridiculous or weird, but a few earning some interest. However there was the case of Harold not getting a chance to show off as Courtney had no faith in him. Meanwhile Beth showed off some skills with a pair of torches until she tossed one too high into the air. Which caused a fire once it fell onto the ground which Justin luckily put out.

Seeing as they added Justin along with Heather and Trent. The Screaming Gophers went onto practice for tonight. Which left Owen and Cody by themselves to watch Beth's handywork along with Tyler who was tied up by his own yoyo.

"Woah, what happened here?" Tyler asked.

"What happened to you?" Cody asked.

As those two conversed, Owen got curious and reached down into the hole. His curiosity went towards a unique direction as he decided to inspect the hole as if it were full of treasure.

"Dude, there's nothing down there." Tyler said.

"Probably, but it looks deep and I don't think the fire caused it." Owen said only for his hand to get stuck.

"Are you serious Owen? Not cool." Cody said as he tried pulling Owen out while Tyler tried to free himself before attempting to help.

Duncan also happened to pass by and got curious by the stupidity, "Did you find a box of brownies down there big guy?" he asked teasing Owen.

"There could be brownies, but I can't tell... because I got my hand stuck in a hole!" Owen yells as he panics.

"Easy big guy! Calm down!" Cody said as Owen continued to shake around.

Duncan rolled his eyes as he and Tyler, who escaped the yoyo, started helping Cody. Only to notice that Owen was making the ground crack. Before eventually collapsing and dropping everyone about ten meters underground. Which got really terrifying because they were in a crimson colored cavern and surrounded by skulls.

"Uh... are we in..." Cody tried to say only to gulp.

"Nope, skulls are fake. These things are made of cheap styrofoam." Duncan said as he cut one in half.

Cody sighed in relief as he was glad that he didn't die and go to the underworld. However while most of them were concerned with whoever built the cavern or even trying to escape. Owen found himself a free sandwich that kind of looked like a devil.

"Free sandwich!" Owen said as he picked it up from the ground.

"Owen, I don't think you should just eat something as soon as you find it..." Duncan's words didn't go through Owen's head as the large boy bit into the sandwhich and disappeared. Duncan sighed, "The big died the way he lived. Eating whatever was in front of him." he said.

"Hey are you guys ok?" asked a voice from above.

"Yeah, but who's there?" Tyler asked.

"My name Regina, I'm one of the camera crew." Regina answered.

"Hey Regina, do you think you can get someone to help?" Cody asked.

"I just radioed in a latter." Regina said before jumping down with them.

Regina revealed herself to be a lovely young woman with red hair, tanned skin and golden eyes and wore a flannel shirt with khaki pants. She also noticed that everyone gave her various looks once she arrived.

"What?" she asked.

"Why did you jump down here?" Duncan asked as if she were an idiot.

Regina shrugged as she smiled at them, "I still need to film a show." she answered.

And that's when Owen returned, "Hey what did I miss?" he asked.

"Dude, where did you go!?" Cody asked his teammate.

"It was freaky. I went some weird dimension and it was really lonely." Owen said before noticing Regina.

"Owen, where did you get that sandwich?" Regina asked.

"On the ground. Why? Do you want some?" Owen asked before taking another bite and disappearing again.

"Owen!" the guys yelled.

"Oh no, no, no, no, no. I am in so much trouble if someone gets killed under my supervision." Regina said worrying about herself."

This brought some concern to the group, "What is that sandwich?" Duncan asked.

Then Owen came back screaming, "AHHH! GUYS THERE WAS THIS CREEPY JELLY BEAN THING WITH AN AXE AND IT TRIED TO CHOP ME UP!" he screamed in fright.

"Owen put down that sandwich! It's evil!" Regina warned him.

"Huh? Evil?" Owen asked as he was really confused as to the idea of the sandwich being the reason for his torture.

"Ok I knew that thing looked evil, but this is something else." Cody said as he felt scared.

"But is it? Maybe it's just a coincidence." Owen told them.

"Dude, how is you randomly biting into a sandwich a coincidence?" Duncan asked as Owen still looked hungry.

Owen couldn't restrain himself as he salivated, "Sorry guys, but it's too good!" he said as he bit down into the sandwich and disappeared again.

Duncan face palmed as Tyler and Cody looked around where Owen disappeared, "This is so not good." Tyler said just before Owen came back screaming again.

"LEAVE ME AND MY SANDWICH ALONE!" Owen pleaded before realizing he was back in reality again.

Regina had enough and took away the sandwich, "I am not letting you eat this anymore." she said sounding strict.

"Hey, just because it may or may not send me to another dimension. Does it really mean that it's evil?" Owen asked.

"Owen, you are not laying a finger on this sandwich." Regina said as everyone remained silent for a moment.

Until Owen started to freak out again.

(Naruto OST - It's The Training!)

Owen started running at Regina, "Give me that sandwich!" he yelled.

Regina yipped as she ran away, "No, it's for your own good." she yelled back.

Owen refused to give up, "My own good is me eating that!" he argued.

"Should we do something?" Cody asked.

"Not my problem. The idiot got himself into this mess." Duncan answered.

The boys were then surprised by Regina's amazing agility as she jumped up through the hole. However before they could awe at such a feat. They saw Owen using all his might to climb out despite the lack of upper body strength and fitness to handle climbing up ten meters of earth. Yet he could do it and the three boys decided to climb onto his back as a way out. Owen really did prove to have amazing capability despite being a poster child for poor eating habits and general bad health.

Though that didn't stop him from chasing after Regina who was shocked by the amazing hard work.

Meanwhile, with Lindsay and Heather

"Lindsay, stay here and distract Gwen while I get her diary. No matter what, do not let her in until I'm finished. Got it?" Heather asked as Lindsay nodded.

Being the loyal lapdog she is, Lindsay stood guard at the door before making terrible bird noises to alert Heather of Gwen's arrival. Thus giving Heather the motivation to look faster despite Gwen trying to force Lindsay to let her in.

"No! You can't go in!" Lindsay exclaims.

"Why?" Gwen asked suspiciously.

"Because you know uh..." Lindsay was cut off by watching Regina being chased by Owen.

"Come back here with my sandwich!" Owen yelled.

"No!" Regina yelled as she forced Owen to run around in circles behind her.

Owen's Confessional

Owen raised his hands up definsively, "I know, I look crazy especially since I keep getting chased by a psycho with an axe when I eat that sandwich. Don't judge a guy until you try his sandwich, which I won't let you because it's MINE!" he yells with crazy eyes.

Back at camp

That's when the three boys arrived in front of the cabin as well, "Seriously, this guy is as big as a truck and he runs like he's in the olympics. What is he made of?" Duncan asked as he was already panting.

"I don't man, but I know one thing. It's a real workout!" Tyler said before he started flexing and was unaware of the fact he made Lindsay blush.

(Naruto OST - Go Go Naruto)

"Just one more bite, please!" Owen begged.

Regina then did the unthinkable again and jumped onto the roof of the cabin, "Woah! What kind of aerobics do you do!?" Gwen asked as her attention was now focused on the camera girl.

Gwen's Confessional

"Ok, I just wanted a small swim and then change. Why is it that I'm surrounded by crazy people?" Gwen asked.

Back to the camp

This gave Heather enough time to exit the cabin with Gwen's diary. Then noticing the chaos that was started by Owen's gluttony as the large teen tried his hand at climbing up to the roof. Leaving Regina to put down the camera and pray.

"Oh might creator of everlasting... please stop your creation that you've named Owen so his lordship does not kill me." Regina prayed just as Naruto arrived. "Hm, I guess it was Lady Kushina or Lady Lisa that answered my prayer instead." she said as Naruto used all his strength to pull back Owen.

"What is going on here?" Naruto asked as Owen looked desperate.

"That girl stole my sandwich!" Owen yelled as he pointed at Regina.

Naruto narrowed his eyes, "Regina, hand it over." Regina nodded nervously as she tossed to Naruto who examined it.

The silver haired teen shook his head, "No, this is not good." he said.

"Hey hand it over!" Owen said as he briefly took it back and started eating yet again.

Everyone minus Naruto panicked as they saw Owen disappear and reappear. Once again Owen screamed in terror before having his sandwich ripped away. This time Naruto decided to stuff into a storage seal inside of his jacket pocket. All while ignoring Owen's pleads for the sandwich.

"That's enough, that was the broodwich and if you keep eating it you're going to die!" Naruto said coldly as Owen shivered.

"The what witch?" Cody asked.

"The broodwich, it's an evil sandwich that's cursed. Most likely a prank left by Hades or that fallen archangel that gives away too much freewill." Naruto said as everyone felt nervous.

"Wait what?" Tyler asked.

"Don't worry about it. So long as it's contained and it's not dissambled in any way, no one is being sent to the underworld." Naruto said which only further freaked everyone out.

"Um, I kind of took it apart." Owen said as he revealed a napkin full of sun dried tomatoes.

"Why?" Naruto asked.

"I don't like the tomatoes." Owen said answering the wrong question.

The broodwich is made of various ingredients and Owen took one of them off. They are:

Bread forged in darkness from wheat harvested from Hell's Half-Acre and baked by Beelzebub.

Mayonnaise made from the evil eggs of a powerful dark chicken beaten into sauce by the hands of a one-eyed madman.

Cheese boiled from the rancid teat of a fanged cow.

666 separate meats from an animal which has maggots for blood.

Dijon mustard.

Lettuce Sun-dried tomatoes.

Sadly bacon could not be added as it costs extra.

So Naruto only had one thing to say, "Throw those away." he commanded.

"I was, give me a break already!" Owen exclaimed as he literally threw them away only for one to go into Heather's mouth.

"Ew! Owen you are so...!" Heather tried to say only to be thrown away.

Elsewhere

"...dead!" Heather yelled before realizing where she was.

Heather was no longer in Muskoka anymore. Rather in an office sitting in front of a blue skinned man with a blue fire over his head and wearing a black toga. This man looked displeased as it appeared that he was on the phone and gave Heather a dirty look.

"Not dead, but you're also making my job harder." the man said before slamming the phone down. "What's your name kid?" the man asked.

"Heather." Heather said as she looked annoyed.

"Nice to meet ya and whatnot, clearly you're not dead so why are you here?" the man said getting out of his chair.

Heather groaned, "I don't even know. Owen threw something in my mouth and it made me poof here!" she said angrily.

The man wiped his face, "I guess someone found the broodwich. Anyways, time go." he said only for a bean shaped man with an axe to break down the door. "Really Jerry?" he asked.

Jerry panicked as he put away the axe, "Sorry Lord Hades, the girl ate the sandwich so it's my job to..."

"I KNOW WHAT YOUR JOB IS!" Hades yelled as his flames turned red. Calming back down again, he gestured for Jerry to leave, "Anyways, where are you from kid? You speak English, I think I heard an east coast dialect. Let me guess, Missouri?" he asked.

"Canada, I'm on the new reality show. Total Drama Island, ever heard of it?" Heather asked with some sass.

Hades deadpanned at the rudeness, "I thought you Canadians were all supposed to be friendly. Oh well." he said before tossing Heather through a portal.

However, before he closed it. Hades peeked outside and felt a familiar source of energy. That got him grinning and thinking as he pulled out a scroll and started writing very quickly.

"Pane! Panic! Get out here and send this to that overgrown lizard!" Hades ordered as a pink and blue pair of demons came out.

"Right boss!" they replied before running out.

A while later, talent show

Chris stood at the center of the stage yet again, "Welcome everyone to the first Total Drama Island Talent Show!" he announced. "Once again, it's up to both teams impress Grand Master Chef! And for today, two surprise judges, Pane and Panic!" he said revealing three meters to gauge the interest of each judge.

Meanwhile Pane and Panic were wearing disguises that hid them among the crowd as to avoid drawing suspicion. Which left the other campers to preoccupied with the show and trying their best to win.

"How much you wanna bet it's all gonna fail?" Pane asked.

Panic thought about it, "I'm putting 15 silvers on one being good." he said as he put down a bag of coins.

"First up, we have Trent!" Chris announced as Trent got up on stage with his guitar.

"This one, is for a special person out there." Trent said as he started playing.

Meanwhile in the backstage

Duncan and Tyler were talking about the story of Owen's sandwich. Which nobody chose to believe as it felt fake and far fetched despite the given circumstances. They then moved onto Bridgette's talent of walking on her hands. Causing the team to make bets as to how long she can stay that way only to bump into some ropes which caused a stage light to nearly hit Courtney but still destroy her violin during the middle of her practice.

After tending to Courtney who hit her head during the fall. The girl started to weep as her precious violin was destroyed.

"It can't be that bad, can it?" Bridgette asked as she took the violin in an attempt to repair the instrument.

Which immediately fell apart right after taking it. Making Courtney cry even further and ruining her chance to go on stage.

"Don't worry guys, we still got this!" Geoff said as he pulled out his skateboard and tried to jump onto it. Ending with him shattering the board in half, "Not good. DJ, you might want to go up first." he said as DJ nodded and prepared for Trent's song to end.

Back on stage

Everyone clapped as Trent's song had ended. Chris also gave a round of applause as he approached the musician.

"That was great, so let's see how the judges feel." Chris said as each scoring meter appeared.

Chef: 8/10

Pane: 7/10

Panic: 7/10

"Nice, now let's see how the Killer Bass do." Chris said as DJ stepped up.

Sadly, it appeared that DJ needed more practice as his dancing was far from graceful. With him getting his ribbon stuck and tripping several times. The dance ended with DJ holding still with one last pose and the ribbon landing on his head.

"Uh, what was that?" Chris asked.

Pane whispered towards Panic, "What was that?" he asked only for the blue imp to shrug.

Chef: 3/10

Pane: 2/10

Panic: 3/10

DJ frowned when he saw those scores, "Too bad dude. Next up is Justin!" Chris said as DJ walked away feeling defeated.

Justin stepped up and grabbed a chair before doing his poses that he normally does for photoshoots.

Backstage

Things didn't look good so far and with two of their teammates out of commission. It was Bridgette's turn to step up and try to redeem herself. So she prepared herself to do the handstand and hopefully outscore Trent. Meanwhile everyone else was preparing for a third act in case Bridgette's display didn't hold up enough to impress the judges.

"So who do we have left?" Courtney asked her teammates.

"I can carve an X ray of my skull on a tree." Duncan said whipping out his knife.

"Something interesting!" Courtney berated.

"I got some killer beats." Harold boasted while referring to his beat boxing.

"Anything else?" Courtney continued to ask.

Duncan shrugged, "You got two lame dancers and Tyler's yoyo." he said.

Then Harold pulled out the flute, "If we're that desperate then..." he said looking down at the case holding the flute.

This worried Courtney, "Well... there has to be a limit, but what if... yeah! Maybe Naruto can fix my violin or get me a new one!" she said hoping that she wouldn't annoy the Dragon of the Apocalypse.

"Then Harold, you better show us those killer beats you keep talking about." Duncan said as Harold smiled and nodded before sitting down with his legs crossed.

Back on stage

Justin ended his talent with splashing water down his face. When the applause and cheering ended. Chris appeared in front of him with the meters activating.

"That was cool, let's see how the judges feel." Chris said as Chef and the imps voted.

Chef: 7/10

Pane: 8/10

Panic: 6/10

Pane and Chef gave Panic a strange look, "Meh, anyone can pose and splash water on their faces." Panic told them.

And back with Chris, "Ok that was also good, but let's see if Bridgette can top that." he says as Bridgette comes walking in on her hands.

Then suddenly, her stomach started to rumble and she felt vomit go to her mouth. From there, it was a giant splatter fest of chunks and pieces coming from Bridgette. No doubt from all the chips and other unhealthy snacks that she devoured prior to going on stage. Which should have been a giant red flag for the surfer girl as stunts requiring agility does tend to cause vomiting. It was better to explain the science better than to describe the disgusting mess that was the entire stage and audience.

Even worse, Bridgette was still standing on her hands until she slipped and landed on Tyler before vomiting on him too. Which earned Lindsay's ire for the wrong reasons.

"Hey! Get your own boyfriend!" Lindsay yelled only to back down when she saw Heather's glare.

As for Chris, he was hiding behind a riot shield, "Ok, Chef? What do you...?" he tried to say only to see the poor scores.

Chef: 1/10

Pane: 10/10

Panic: 10/10

That confused the host, "Seriously?" Chris asked.

"No, it's the dumb buttons. We're trying to set it to negative!" Panic yelled as he decided to pull two signs out instead.

"Yeah, this is how we feel. We've been to the underworld and back and we never saw something this disgusting." Pane added.

"Then again, we don't explore all the parts and Lord Hades doesn't want us to see what Lu is doing after the big man casted him down with us." Panic said.

"Whatever, this is how we feel!" Pane said as he pulled out two signs.

Pane: -10/10

Panic: -10/10

"Sorry guys, you can only go down to 1." Chef said to the two imps who looked annoyed.

"Remember guys, a perfect score is an automatic winner. Heather, let's see how you do." Chris said as the clean up crew quickly cleared the stage as Heather sat down in her ballet outfit while carrying Gwen's diary.

"Today I was going to do a dance but I think. I should read a little literature by my good old teammate, Gwen." Heather said scaring Gwen as she realized what book Heather is holding.

Naruto narrowed his eyes as he saw the act. However just as Heather started reading, he discreetly left an afterimage to go towards the broadcasting station. From there, as Gwen felt ashamed and embarrassed as Heather sublty referred to Gwen's potential crush. For Cody, he assumed Gwen was talking about him as Gwen referred to her crush as "annoying" and someone she finds "cute" in a way. His hopes started crashing down once Heather mentioned Gwen's crush being a guitar player. Ironically, Cody was sitting next to Trent who still had his guitar out.

Heather stood up from her chair and took a small bow. Only for Chris to come walking out with a somewhat concerned look.

"Okay... that was awkward. Luckily the cameras literally went out during that mess." Chris said surprising Heather and Gwen. "I don't know what happened, but let's see how the judges feel." he said.

Chef: 1/10

Pane: 0/10

Panic: 0/10

Chef looked at the two like they were idiots that couldn't listen.

"What? She literally spent five minutes reading a book out loud. What is this? The first grade?" Panic asked.

"BOO!" Pane yelled as he tossed a can of soda at Heather which subsequently knocked her unconscious.

Chris bent down to pick up the can, "Dude, this is a full can of soda. That's just wrong. You don't waste away perfectly good soda." he said.

Pane glared at Chris as he stood up on the table, "Well she shouldn't waste a perfectly good five minutes. Reminding me she can read!" he argued.

"Settle down Pane. You made your point." Panic said as he tried to keep the situation calm.

Backstage

As the arguing continued, Harold played the melodious tune. Making sure that it was loud enough and in sync for Naruto to hear. Which he did as he appeared via a magic circle.

"What is it?" Naruto asked.

Courtney gave him a nervous smile, "Bridgette broke my violin so I can't go on stage. So I was wondering if you or someone you knew could fix it before our turn begins." she explained.

Naruto studied the destroyed violin, "It's beyond repair and Heather already finished her performance despite being bad." he said crushing their hopes. Naruto then noticed there are no back up alternates, "I think I know someone who can step in for your place." he said.

"Uh dude, isn't only between teams?" Geoff asked.

"It is, but the flute is the rule breaker in a way. I don't think Chris will mind if I someone to take Courtney's place." Naruto said as he prepared a summoning circle.

Courtney and everyone else felt some excitement only for Bridgette to speak up, "You're not summoning a demon are you?" this question was answered with a glare that frightened the surfer girl.

DJ also spoke up, "It's someone nice and friendly right?" he asked fearfully.

"Yes, someone very amazing too." Naruto said as someone's form appeared.

Once it cleared up, the magic circle revealed a young blue haired girl with golden eyes. The girl appeared younger than Naruto but her stare gave off a hint of seriousness yet full of elegance in her form and attire.

"Father?" the girl asked looking up to Naruto.

"FATHER!?" the Killer Bass asked simultaneously.

"Hello daughter, did I interrupt something?" Naruto asked only to receive the shake of her head.

"Hold on! I know you! You're that European idol singer, Azura!" Courtney spoke up after having remembered Azura from several magazines.

"Yes, and now you know my father. Which doesn't explain why I am here." Azura said looking towards her progenitor.

Naruto then proceeded to lift up Azura by her waist before telling her why.

Back on stage

Chris double checked the radio in his ear, "Are we rolling? Good." he said before continuing with the final act. "Now the Killer Bass will be presenting... wait what?" he asked as he got a message in his radio.

For a moment, Chris just continued to murmur until he got a surprise of a lifetime. Along with a brief explanation of what was going on. To which it only excited Chris even more.

"Wow! Wow! I think I heard of her!" Chris said as he couldn't contain his excitement. "Everyone, the Killer Bass just sounded the flute and Naruto has shown his generosity. Which by the, he may never show again." he said with an evil smile.

"Does anyone feel really cold all of a sudden?" Beth asked as she started shivering.

"Everyone, meet the hit sensation from Europe. Otherwise known as Naruto's daughter, Aqua!" Chris announced as he surprised the entire crowd including the judges.

"Who?" Chef asked as he isn't aware of famous idols.

However the two imps got excited and started wearing merchandise.

"WOOH! AQUA!"

"IT'S AQUA!"

"I KNOW IT'S AQUA YOU IDIOT!"

"DON'T CALL ME AN IDIOT WHEN AQUA IS HERE!"

"AHHHH! I SCREWED UP!"

"OF COURSE YOU DID! NOW SHUT UP!"

Chef sweat dropped as he saw the two of them argue while pulling out some lights to dance along with.

Back with the campers, a lot of them were divided on various thoughts. Heather was angry that someone outside of the opposing team was allowed to perform. Girls like Katie, Satie, Lindsay and Beth were squealing with delight at a celebrity guest starring on the show. A few of the men were thinking about the beautiful girl before remembering who her dad is. Leaving everyone else who knew about Azura's stage name, Aqua, to be shocked of her origins as she was very private about her life.

"This is unfair! How come they get a major celebrity to perform for them!?" Heather demanded.

"Unfair, but nice." Justin muttered to himself.

"The flute is a cheat sheet. Also, the ratings are going to explode." Chris said muttering the last part as Azura took the stage after having changed attire.

Heather's Confessional

Heather sneered, "I did not bust my butt just to steal from Gwen. Only for some loser singer to beat us!" she yelled.

Lindsay's Confessional

Lindsay squealed in delight, "Aqua is really here!? I love her music! OMG! Do you think she'll let me get an autograph after the show!? Or even better! A selfie!" she said excitedly.

Trent's Confessional

"I admit that's cool and all, but is it bad if I feel jealous?" Trent asked as he felt that his guitar playing felt redundant. Only for him to shake his head, "Nah, I shouldn't worry. It's not about fame or whatever. It's about the music and someday everyone will look back at this." he said feeling better.

Courtney's Confessional

Courtney laughed victoriously, "Ok I still wouldn't mind playing the violin, but this just got us a giant win! Though, who knew Naruto of all people could make someone like Aqua. Seriously, have you not seen his attitude? What kind of woman likes that?" she asked. Only to hear a loud slithering outside of the confession can, "What was that?" she asked nervously.

Harold's Confessional

"Ok you have to admit my mad skills saved us. Since DJ wasn't around, it was up to me to play that flute." Harold says as he drinks a bottle of water before spitting it out. "HOLD ON A MINUTE! Naruto's legend as Acnologia has been around since the Roman Empire! So unless Aqua is at least 2000 years old, what if there's more kids who aren't friendly like her!?" he asked before gasping. "Or worse! Who's Naruto's mate!?" he asked before hearing a loud slither outside and letting out a girlish scream.

Back on stage

As soon as the beats started playing. All the fanboys and girls stood up and got excited.

"I love you Aqua!" Lindsay yelled.

"Sign my retainer after the show! Please!" Beth begged.

"Go on a date with me!" Cody yelled as he forgot his crush on Gwen.

Cody immediately remembered his crush after Naruto threw a large orb at him that destroyed a part of the bleachers where he sat. The poor boy was terrified by Naruto's gaze as he drew his oversized sword.

After that was over, Azura started to summon water around around as she started singing.

Embrace the dark, you call a home.

A empty white throne. A legacy of lies. A familiar disguise

The water then started to flow around her as she continued dancing.

Sing with me a song of conquest and fate. The black pillar cracks beneath its weight.

Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone, lost in thoughts all alone

The path you walk on belongs to destiny, just let it flow

All of your joy and your pain will fall like the tide, let it flow

Life is not just filled with happiness, nor sorrow

By then, the water surrounded the entire stage and campers. Everyone sat higher as they felt as they were being swarmed by the water. For the fans, they assumed this was either a special or visual effect created by the cast and crew of her show. In actuality, it was the magic of the water element inherited by Azura's father.

Even the thorn in your heart, in time it may become a rose

A burdened heart, sinks into the ground.

A veil falls away without a sound. Not day nor night, wrong nor right, for truth and peace you'll fight

Sing with me a song of silence and blood. The rain fall, but can't wash away the mud.

Within my ancient heart dwells madness amd pride. Can no one hear my cry?

With the song ending, the water around everyone splashed high into the air. Giving a last minute dazzling sight as Azura took one last pose before dropping all the water floating around her.

This earned cheering and applauses from nearly everyone that watched her performance. Chris was also cheering, mainly for the massive views that skyrocketed for tonight's broadcast. Before he even had a chance to approach the famous idol. Chef and the others already gave their final scores.

Chef: 10/10

Pane: 10/10

Panic: 10/10

"WOW! PERFECT SCORE!" Chris shouted as he saw the imps cheering along with Chef who loved the song. "Aqua, do you have anything to say for everyone here?" he asked.

Azura gave the campers a smile, "May the odds all be in your favor. For you're all blessed should you survive father's wrath." she said sounding sweet the whole time despite the ominous warning.

Chris chuckled after ignoring the warning, "That's cute, anyways congratulations Killer Bass! Screaming Gophers, hopefully this is the best night of your lives in Wawanakwa. Because for one of you, it's your last." he said before the Gophers prepared to vote someone off.

At the bonfire

As per the occasion, Chris was down to two campers. In rare cases, the final two would have a legitimate reason to be kicked off. However, it just looked like Heather deserved the boot for reading Gwen's diary. Luckily no one watching was able to hear anything due to a mysterious issue that briefly disabled the broadcast. However they did have some extra footage that was meant to be cut out from Regina. The producers thought it was fine considering it involved Owen's rampage over an evil sandwich.

That aside, it was time to kick someone off of this show.

"So this is how it goes. We either get rid of Justin, who's good looks at 70% appeal to the show or Heather, which could benefit everyone. Since she clearly has no concern for the privacy of others." Chris said in his snarky tone.

Just remained silent as he gave his signature smile.

Heather on the other hand, looked impatient, "Whatever, just give me my marshmallow." she demanded as Chris frowned.

"Fine, sorry Justin. You're out." Chris said as he tossed the marshmallow at Heather.

Justin sighed as he got up and made his way to the Boat of Losers. As he got on and left, Naruto quickly appeared and started slapping away the marshmallows from everyone but Heather's hands.

"Something wrong bud?" Chris asked.

Naruto held up one of the marshmallows, "These things have been tampered with by Hades." he said.

Chris chuckled, "That's funny, I wonder who messed with them." he said as he looked out of the corner of his eye to see Pane and Panic hiding.

Only for Naruto to destroy their hiding spot, "He found us! RUN!" Panic yelled as his fellow imp ran deep into the camp to find the portal that Hades left for them.

"Who's Hades?" Trent asked.

It didn't answer his question let alone grant any information, but Heather attempted to give them some idea. By eating the marshmallow and disappearing.

"Poor Heather, she's probably getting chased around by Jerry." Owen said having experienced the same thing with the broodwich.

With Heather

The girl found herself with her arms, legs and head strapped to a board with a piece of tape over her mouth as a large man towered over her.

"Kishishishishi, I see Lord Hades has given me a new toy to break today." said the large man as Heather desperately tried to scream in terror.

Back at camp

"I'm sure she's fine. I don't know about all of you, but that white girl was a pain in the butt." Leshawna said in her usual sassy voice.

Everyone else shrugged as they continued with their night. Unaware of what was waiting for them the next day. Though a couple of them did stop and see that Azura was being escorted to the docks by Regina who was now dressed like a maid and Naruto.

"You best be on your way Azura. I don't need you contaminated by the stigma of this island." Naruto said as he embraced his daughter.

Azura hugged back, "Very well, I'll miss you father." she said.

"Remember to stay in contact after you leave. Not just with me, but your mother and your siblings." Naruto told her.

"But I can sense some of them here. Including Veldora, I can see he fails to hide his presence." Azura said looking in the distance.

Regina giggled, "Don't worry miss, at least it's not Lady Milim of all people." she said.

Naruto nodded, "Lupusregina is correct, the last thing anyone needs is for Milim to appear." he said knowing how dangerous his older daughter is.

"Very well, I'll be off now. Goodbye father." Azura said she kissed Naruto's cheek as she got on a more luxurious boat with Lupusregina.

"I'll be back right after Lady Azura makes it to safety my lord." Lupusregina said as the boat sailed off.

Leaving quite a few campers shocked by the revelations of more children. Moreso, the entire audience who witnessed that conversation were shocked that Azura was related to the living apocalypse. Along with having several other siblings with another being in Muskoka as well.
