A/N: I did try to make each section that she had to do, so Mogma Mitts, Dungeon Map, and Mysterious Crystal at least 600 words long.
Disclaimer: I do not own Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
The first thing Kella noticed when she entered the Fire Sanctuary was two Owl Statues on either side of a set of stairs. She headed up the steps and stopped abruptly, glancing up at the spiky leaf like thing hanging down. "Hm..." She murmured before she pulled out her bow and hesitantly fired an arrow at it. The leaf thing shook before it parted and a tiny drop of water dropped into the lava, causing a big rock like platform appear.
Kella quickly hopped onto it, arms waving around on either side of her as she fought to keep her balance. She gritted her teeth as an arrow suddenly ended up in her shoulder. Her head whipped around to where it had come from to find several archer bokoblins stood there, aiming at her again. She sighed. "When will they learn?" She muttered before she swiftly pulled out her bow and an arrow and shot an arrow at the first bokoblin, lodging it easily in it's chest. She turned her bow lightly to the right before she loaded it with a new arrow, shooting another arrow at the second bokoblin, the arrow imbedding deep into it's skull before she shot an arrow at the final bokoblin.
Once the platformed piece of rock she was riding on reached the end of the path all the bokoblins had been stood on. She quickly jumped off of the platform and land on the path, making quick work of disposing the blue bokoblins that were remaining on the path before she noticed a blue treasure chest at the end of the path. She wasn't too surprised to find a small key in it. That's usually how these temples went.
She had just jumped down from the path way and landed in front of the locked door when a mogma with a long beard. "Ho ho ho. Ahhh, the exit at last!" It said with a sigh of relief before it spotted her and freaked out. "Don't scare me like that! I thought you were one of those monster creeps!" He snapped.
"What is it with you damned Mogma's and thinking I'm a bloody bokoblin! Yes, I wear green fucking clothes, and yes, I have a bow, but I don't look anything like them!" She exclaimed exasperatedly.
The mogma sighed. "Sorry, kid. All these monsters around has got me a bit jumpy." He explained before he noticed her digging mitts in her hands. "You got yourself a swanky pair of digging mitts? Who are ya anyway? Whatcha you doing here?"
"Not that it's any of your business, but if you simply must know, I am on a quest to find Din's sacred flame. What exactly are you doing in a place like this anyway?" She snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. 'I am not in the mood to deal with this guy.'
"Huh? Me? Oh yeah, the name's Guld and I'm the big boss of the Mogma's." She rolled her eyes. 'That isn't what I asked.' "Those digging mitts you got right there? I invented them. ...No offence kid, but you don't seem like the type of gal I'd send in her on a treasure hunting mission. But what do I know?" She tuned him out for a bit, nothing she didn't already know. Big treasure, lots of enemies, blah blah blah. "..gonna do this no matter what I say, aren't ya?"
"Pretty much." She said, not really paying much attention to him.
"...Ye who seeks the king's treasure, look for the two statues that face one another. Show your bravery and jump into the mouth of the sleeping statue. Do this, and the path will be open for you."
"King's treasure? Two statues that face one another? Path? Mouth of the sleeping statue? What?" She ranted, beyond confused.
"Some of my guys are in here looking for the treasure. If you get lost, just holler at one of them." She nodded.
"Will do." She said before she quickly headed in through the now unlocked locked door.
After defeating the nearby bokoblins she made her way down off of the ledge and into the grated portion of the room. The lava underneath the grate started to bubble around before a hand shaped magma entity shot up, knocking her down, off of her feet and onto her back.
"Fucking Hylia!" She exclaimed in shock as her back hit the ground. "Okay, color me surprised." She groaned before she jumped to her feet and ran over to the nearby stone platform. Magmanos shot it's fiery hand up under the platform, raising it up far above the ground. In front of her was an alcove with a lot of those same green plants that she had seen earlier.
She narrowed her eyes briefly before she jumped over to the ledge and poked the plant, causing it to get stuck on the edge of her sword. "Hey, Fi?"
"Yes mistress?"
"Water...puts out fire..., right?" She questioned, somewhat hesitant.
"That is correct, mistress." Kella grinned before she dropped down to the ground.
The magma hands sprung out in front of her and she grinned, "Bring it, bitch."
Kella stood outside a giant door, resembling each giant door she had seen in each previous temple she had been to. She gently brushed her fingers over the lock before she sighed and turned around, going over to a nearby rock that had words scribbled upon it.
'The bridge of decision. Choose the path you believe in and move forward bravely.' She narrowed her eyes before staring at her hands and then at the two ledges. She slowly walked to the edge of the bridge. It was just one decision. One would lead to her death. One, to her passage forward. To the sacred flame. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and dived off of the edge of the ledge to the right, floating and diving through the air before she landed on her feet.
She started to immediately cut down bokoblins, and dark keese. She spun around and took care of another one. She ran up the steps, jumping over gaps, and clawshotting over the longest ones. She opened up a door to find herself in a room with a bunch of statues in it, and a familiar chest behind bars. She frowned somewhat before she burrowed under the ground out of curiosity. She slowly edged forward, not really knowing what she was doing when her elbow accidentally hit a switch on the ground. She heard the faintest sounds of a flame flickering could be heard above ground.
"Heh." She weaved through the tunnels hitting switched left and right, eventually she heard the sound of bars raising. she turned around to climb out when she got knocked over by a giant centipede. She sped around the tunnels in a rush, hitting it's weak spot when she could. She dodged his attacks expertly as she went around behind him and hit his tail again. Her mogma mitts claws were dangerous to say the least. It wasn't long before the monster exploded and she was no longer caged in.
After climbing out and retrieving the Mysterious Crystal, she made her way back to the boss room through the nearby door. She eyed the boss door and grinned. "Let's do this."
I didn't have time to proof read this because I have to leave for school in 3 mins and I haven't even changed my shirt or put on a bra yet. I might edit it later when I get home and then replace the chapter. The reason why there are so many typos is because I have a hurt finger and ankle and foot and knee. The finger is the main reason for the typos. Anyways, Ghirahim'll be in the next chapter, sorry for the long wait~
