He reached his classroom without a fuss, and after several introductions, boring teachers and lessons, he was finally given a sheet to choose a club, he ticked volleyball without hesitation and gave the completed form to the teacher, he sat alone in lunch, unpacking his bento and digging in, he started planning, should he join Karasuno? Simply because they are the main cast in the show? Or should he attempt at Shiratorizawa, the proclaimed 'best' ? He didn't know how to choose, his brother, or a supposedly brighter future? Kiyoshi sighed out loud and turned to the windows, watching the leaves with the color of dusk fall in mesmerizing waves, trying to clear his mind from all the thoughts that were plaguing his mind, he shook his head and tried to focus on his lunch.

Oikawa

The new kid was strange, like he was only half here, the other half wandering in the clouds, searching for something. He didn't react to anything, his face forever in a blank mask, his voice always in that annoying monotone, didn't act nervous when called to introduce himself, his droopy eyes signed that he would be rather be anywhere but here. Oikawa himself didn't really care, but there was just something about that kid that screamed otherworldly, and that has nothing to do with the kid's unnatural streak of white that contrasted deeply with his black hair.

A smack to the back of his head brought him back to the bustling classroom, he reached out to touch his aching head out of sheer reflex "Itaiiii! Iwa-Chan~" He pouted to his childhood friend, the said childhood friend glared at him " Hurry up and clean up, we' ll be late for practice" he said that in a dark voice promising death if he didn't follow his orders to a T.

Oikawa couldn't help but shiver and started shoving his textbooks and pencils into his backpack, hurrying to catch up. He started walking down the hall when he noticed that the new kid was carrying a sports bag, and was asking an upperclassmen for directions that were lost over the sea of chatter, after a few words, satisfied with the given answer, the kid began to walk the same direction as he did. Narrowing his eyes, Oikawa turned away from the kid and started to try and catch up with Iwaizumi. His mind never leaving the strange new kid.

Kiyoshi made his way to the gym, fighting down a twitch as he was scrutinized like a interesting specimen by Oikawa, he watched in his perpetual vision until as the Volleyball player finally lost interest and turned away, then he allowed some of his mask to slip, rubbing his tired eyes with his hands turned calloused by the sheer training he'd put in for volleyball, he purposely fell behind the teenagers, wanting nothing to do with the duo. He already had his volleyball gear underneath his school, so that when he reached the lockers in a slow pace, he could quickly change and get to the gym.

To tell the truth, he was scared out of his wits, but he was confident that his mask wont slip or crack, the well honed mask he had on ever since 15 of his last life, but life was full of surprises

isn't it.
