Disclaimer: I do not own Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.

"You'll never win like this." His mocking words echoed around them, sending chills up her spine.

"Wanna bet?" She flipped over the bokoblin in front of her and landed lightly on her feet, gripping the "sword" in her grasp. It wasn't the master sword, but it sure was better than nothing. She spun around and sliced her blade through the soft, fragile skin on the bokoblins throat. "What even is the point of this game of yours?"

He chuckled in amusement from his perch atop the nearby tree, "I do believe we had a deal, did we not, Skychild?"

"Yeah, yeah." She grumbled, flipping over another bokoblin to land on the ground by the tree. "It would help if I knew what though." She snorted.

"The objective? Simple." She blinked and glanced over her shoulder as she felt a hot blast of air on the back of her neck. She narrowed her eyes and threw the sword over her shoulder, hoping it would hit him. "Defeat all the bokoblins. All except the red ones." She turned around to see that the sword had buried itself into a nearby red bokoblins chest.

Kella paled. "Oh shit."

"Yes, you know what this means."

"No, I don't believe it!" She gasped out. She spun around to see Ghirahim standing a few feet away from her, a wide grin on his face.

"Believe it skychild." He chuckled. "You lost. You know what that means." She gritted her teeth, looking down at the floor behind him and seeing Zelda, crumpled on the floor, her white a blue dress turned red from the gash in her chest. She took a step back and let out a gasp of horror. Hearing the splash under her feet, she looked down to see blood covering the ground around her.

"No!" She cried out.

"Oh, yes." Kella slowly raised her head to glare deeply into his cocky, soulless eyes. She gritted her teeth as he pulled Link seemingly from out of nowhere and pushed him towards her, causing the boy, her little brother, to fall down on his knees in front of her. "A deal is a deal Skychild."

"Kella..." Link gasped. "Please...don't!"

"I'm sorry, Link..." She felt tears streaming freely down her cheeks as she slowly raised the sword. "I'm so sorry." She whispered before she swung the sword down at her brother's head, and felt the blood shower her body.

Kella shot up from her bed, gasping with sweat trickling down her face. She ignored the rattling of the chains that clung to her wrists as she sat up and put her face into her hand, wiping off as much sweat as she could. "Fuck." She gasped out as she felt her chest heave from the effort. She slowly stood up and leaned heavily against a nearby wall, gripping the fabric of her tunic tightly. "It's okay, its just a..." She took a deep, shaky breath and gritted her teeth slightly. "Just a dream..."

"Was it?" Kella's head shot up quickly and whipped around to stare at the shadows across the room. She clenched her hands into fists, turning her knuckles white, and narrowed her eyes as she tried to see into the darkness. A low, dark chuckle filled the air as Ghirahim slowly stepped out of the dark corner of the room, his dark eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

Kella narrowed her eyes at him, trying to appear threatening and act like the dream hadn't shaken her to her core. "Yes. It was." She growled out.

"How can you be so sure?" He smirked as he took a step closer. Her mind flashed back to her dream. His feet stepping over Zelda's blood like it was nothing. Her sword coming down on Link, cutting through his skin and muscles and slicing through bone like it was no stronger than paper. She shook her head quickly and stepped carefully away from him.

"I. Just. Am. Why do you even care about my dreams, anyway?"

"I already said. What if they're more than just dreams?" He said, staring at her unblinkingly.

Kella let out a resigned sigh. "You just like messing with my head..."

"Well there is that." He admitted, grinning as he took slow deliberate steps towards her. "But does that have to automatically mean that I don't speak the truth?" She watched him for a moment, eyeing his every move as she slowly got to her feet.

"Did you just come here to torment me, or do you actually have a purpose for visiting me?"

He grinned. "Well I was going to suggest another game," She blinked at him, eyes wide. "But as you are being so uncivil, I think it should be postponed."

"Wait, what?"

"I prefer to play games that will entertain me. Dealing with a sulking child seems far too great a task, even for me." He wiggled his fingers in what Kella could only guess was meant to be a wave. "Ta-ta." He snapped his fingers and was gone.

Kella spent her days sitting. Very eventful, I know. She spent all day, every day sat on her "bed" thinking about how everything went to shit. She was actually starting to miss Ghirahim. "Hylia, I must be going crazy." She scoffed to herself as she sat up her eyebrows narrowing, deep in thought. She didn't miss the torture he put her through, oh no, that she could do without. However, she did miss their banters. At least when they argued it was some form of human contact. Something she never got anymore.

A sudden bang and the door swinging open jolted her out of her thoughts. Sunlight streamed in blinding her momentarily as she scrambled to cover her eyes from the sudden assault. "Son of a fuck! For fuck's sake, Ghirahim!" She exclaimed, darting back from the light.

"Some hero of light you are." It was a bad joke. A really bad one. That was the first thing that tipped her off that it wasn't him.

"Who are you?" She snapped, wincing slightly at the light as she lowly reopened her eyes to look at the demon. He was a bokoblin, but he was different than the ones she had met in Faron, Eldin, And Lanayru. For one thing, it had a brain. It was capable of speech. It's skin was red but its eyes were smaller, and it had scaly black hair, clearly greasy and unkept.

"Wouldn't you like to know." He grinned, winking at her. Okay, this guys a creep. Lovely.

"Yes, I would!" She exclaimed in her best crazy excited tone of voice. The demon eyed her warily, before stepping into her room.

"The names Eiosur, darling." She raised her eyebrows at him.

"Okay, good, we're making progress." She teased, eyeing him up and down.

"Don't patronize me!" She rolled her eyes at him.

"Fine fine, ruin the only fun I get around here, why don't you? What do you want?"

"Lord Ghirahim sent me to fetch you." He pulled out a giant sword. "In pieces." Her eyes widened at him in mock fright,

"Oh, please don't hurt me!" She said dramatically in her best "valley girl" voice. The demon gritted his teeth and lunged forward. Kella lurched to the side instinctively and blinked in surprise as it hit her chains. She had given up. She hadn't wanted to continue on. What had changed? She lurched forward with her chains against the sword hard, gritting her teeth with the effort. A loud snap sounded as the chains broke from the force of the sword. She knew what had changed. That dream. Multiple days alone with her thoughts. She didn't want to die. She wanted to fight. Get strong again. She grinned, wrapping the chains on her other wrist around the sword and leaning close. "Looks like I'm not as weak as some people thought." She whispered in his ear as she yanked hard on the chains, snapping them in half agains the sword. She gave him a sharp kick to the groin which sent him stumbling back a couple of feet.

"What? He told me you wouldn't fight back, that you were at your breaking point!" She grinned at him as she hopped off of the bed and landed lightly on her feet.

"Oh look, my tunic is all dirty again." She whined softly as if she had just notice it. "You'll be paying for that, mister." She wiggled a finger at him.

"What happened!" He screamed at her.

"Its simple really." She said with a shrug as she slowly walked towards him, the chains still attached to her wrist dragging on the ground behind her as she walked. "I decided that I don't want to die. And I have no intentions of doing something that I don't want to do."

"You will die! Ghirahim will see to that!"

"Why don't you let me worry about Ghirahim, love." She smirked as she walked forward slowly. 'Well, well, well, doesn't this look familiar. Somebody less powerful then you cringing in a corner while you walk slowly, teasingly toward them. Torturing them.' Kella fought the urge to roll her eyes at herself. This wasn't the same. She wasn't Ghirahim.

"What made you...Why..." The demon trailed off, scared by the look in her eyes. She was so calm.

"It's really simple. I know I'll die someday. Whether it's by Ghirahim's hand, Demise's, or some unfortunate "accident", I don't know. But I do know one thing. If I'm gonna go down, I'll go down kicking." She smirked. "I'll be around for a while, dear." She wrapped her chains around his leg. "Can't say the same for you." She pulled on his leg, hard, sending him sprawling on his back toward her.

'How are you not like Ghirahim? This is no better than what he did to you all those months ago.' She scoffed. That was different. I'm different. 'How?' She paused for a second, staring down at the terrified demon for a second, eyes meeting his. For a second, just one moment, she saw herself, terrified, new to the surface, certain she would die. Then the connection broke as she found her answer. 'I'm different, because I'm not weak. I won't let my enemies slip from my grasp time and time again.' She took notice of the sharp diamond shaped daggers on the end of the chains. She smiled sadly and slashed the chains forward at his neck, slicing through the armor and skin and bone easily. His head rolled away from his body and came to a stop at the doorway.

"Well, now that's done." She turned to the headless body and surveyed him for any over weapons. She found nothing but a tiny dagger and a heart potion and snorted. "Idiot could've used that while I was chatting." She rolled her eyes and gulped down the heart potion and, gripping the dagger tightly in her hand, headed for the door.

Bokoblins seemed to be lining up to die left and right. She knew he was here though. He wouldn't let her escape so easily. That demon he sent her in before to finish her off was nothing but a test. To see if her spirit was broken yet, see if she had any fight left in her. Boy was he in for a surpise, she mused silently to herself.

She twirled the chaisn like a ribbon around her enemies, cutting them down. She was stronger now than she was. She was about to get her life back. She was going to put an end to Ghirahim's schemes. 'But can you really do it?' Shut the fuck up, mind, you know I can kill. I just did. 'I didn't mean, can you kill. I meant, can you kill him.' She stopped short behind a door, eyes narrowed. Could she kill Ghirahim. Yeah, they hated eachother, but he had the opportunity to kill her and didn't. Didn;t she at least owe him something?

"What are you even saying Kella? You don't owe him anything!" She cursed herself. The rest of the way through the castle her thoughts were plagued with those two questions.

"Do I owe him anything?"

And,

"If given the chance, could I really go through with it? Could I kill him?"

Heyyyy, guyyyyys! Long time no write! I actually feel really horrible for not updating for so long! I won't be able to update for a while. I have no computer at home. Neither does anybody in my family. The Ipad I cant use because its my mothers and sisters and they fight over it constantly, so the only time I can write is probably at school, and I won't have any free blocks to do that next semester, as I have to do grade 11 math, social, and hopefully English. I'm going to try to update at the library once a month, but I can't promise anything.

Review?
