Special Chapter

Lust For Revenge: Sora vs PallaPalla

Following PallaPalla's brief but close shave with death at the hands of Sora, The Ball Balancer was now raving about in a blind fury, as she threw many of her dolls about in anger, whilst hiding in an old house that contained many dolls, all of which shattered into tiny pieces, and spare parts. This was making CereCere, JunJun, and VesVes worried when Zirconia approached them, with Prince Vassago at her side.

"What's going on? And where is PallaPalla?" she asked.

"I believe I know the reason why, Zirconia. That boy, Sora Lucis Caelum was the one that defeated her, and she's now become consumed by vengeance against him, after she nearly lost her legs to his Keyblade," Vassago explained.

"No way," murmured VesVes.

"My thoughts exactly, VesVes," agreed JunJun.

"This isn't like PallaPalla at all. Without her, we can't be the Amazoness Quartet, and there's really no point in having any fun at all," finished CereCere.

"Hmph… I'll go and inform Mother about this at once. Have one of the quartet find that ball balancer of the quartet, or there will be even more examples to be made," replied the Prince of Dead Moon, and he stormed away.

"O-of course, Prince Vassago. I'll get on it right away after you return from your talk with Queen Nehelenia," Zirconia replied quickly.

Down at Juban near the city streets, Haruka and Michiru were now getting their car fully warmed up, just as Setsuna sat in the back seat, following her revival at the hands of Neo-Queen Serenity, who decided to add a few loopholes to the three taboos she was given as Sailor Pluto.

"Hey, You got her ready?" she asked.

"Yes, for now," Setsuna said to her.

"Are you really sure that Setsuna knows a lot about cars, Haruka?" questioned Michiru.

"Come on, Michiru, who's the expert on how cars are made around here, me or you?" questioned Haruka.

"Well, I don't think that cars existed when Chibiusa's friend Puu was standing guard at the time gates," remarked her companion.

But even as she got into the passenger seat, both Michiru and Setsuna noticed that Haruka seemed distant, as if she was looking at the infant Hotaru Tomoe in Soichi's new home.

"Hey, are you okay?" Setsuna asked.

"Yeah, I just had a funny feeling, like Sailor Saturn will return to Xion's side," answered Haruka.

But Michiru rested her hand on Haruka's shoulder as well, and gave her a gentle nudge.

"Don't worry, Haruka. They'll be back together again," she assured her comrade.

"Right. Well, let's go and get this clunker to the repair shop for now, so strap yourselves in," replied Haruka.

"Well, here we go again," sighed Setsuna, as she sat back in her seat and closed her eyes.

The wind whistled quietly through her dark green hair, as well as Michiriu's, as they slowly backed out of the driveway and on to the open road to Juban.

"Alright, here we go," Haruka said, as they got onto the expressway, and joined the traffic.

Meanwhile, in the Circus tent, several flying Heartless and Lemures flew all around it, which did make the people of Juban seem uneasy about visiting it for another show. But inside the tent, Vassago passed through the mirror and stood before Queen Nehelenia who was now standing next to her throne.

"What is thy bidding, Mother?" Vassago asked.

"Prepare a search party for PallaPalla. Have her brought to Zirconia, so that she can heal her wounds," Nehelenia commanded, as she approached the prince.

"What of the reports of the Warriors of Light that still oppose you?" questioned the dark prince.

"They're of no concern for now. Soon those of the White Moon will fall, and Sailor Moon will be one of us. Your work here is finished, my son. Go out to the city, and begin the search," Nehelenia stated firmly.

"Yes, Mother," Vassago replied, as he bowed to her, and walked away.

Mortimer bowed as well, and he too followed after Prince Vassago, while Pete and Kefka bowed to her, while staying behind. Somewhere on the streets of Juban, Haruka glanced nervously at the huge circus tent, with Michiru and Setsuna looking in shock and awe.

"If we get spotted, we'll have to leave this city quietly, Michiru," she said.

"I'm afraid so, Haruka," agreed Michiru.

Suddenly a voice called to them.

"I don't know who you are, but I ask that you tell us," it said to them.

"I'm just a regular citizen of Juban who's just passing by to reach the repair shop," Haruka replied bravely.

They slowly approached the checkpoint, which was filled with Lemures in human disguise, as they were now posing as police officers.

"Very well then, citizens. Prepare to present your identification cards to us so that you can pass," one of the lemures said sharply.

"Sure, no problem, officer," sighed Haruka.

"Why does it feel like Martial Law has been declared again?" Michiru asked.

"Don't worry, Michiru. It's not been ordered again," she assured her.

But Cody Xehanort arrived, and decided to sit next to Setsuna, while also keeping silent about the whole ordeal, after getting into Haruka's car, since their scuffle with another of Dead Moon's puppets.

"I can sense Sephiroth in that tent," he shuddered.

"Now, try not to get jittery, Cody. We know that you're not like your dad," Haruka assured him.

"I'm afraid I have to agree with Cody on this one," whispered Michiru.

"Alright, but try not to look like you're keeping your distance, and try to drive as casually as I do," remarked her companion.

But Vassago was growing annoyed, as he marched up to the Lemures, while wearing an outfit that looked similarly like a CIA agent's suit.

"Where are those people going?" he demanded.

"Miss Tenoh, this operative wants to know where you're going," the second disguised lemures said.

"We're just going to a repair shop to have my car refitted," Haruka replied.

"Do they have some form of identification?" Vassago asked, his eyes burning with impatience.

"Their ID's are from Mugen Academy, which was destroyed some time ago. We were about to return them," replied the lemures.

But Vassago's eyes fell upon Cody, and he began to sense Xehanort's blood within his veins.

"I'm endangering all of you guys, so I shouldn't have joined you," he murmured Cody.

"It'll be alright, Cody," assured Setsuna, when she took his hand.

"She's right, so try to be more optimistic," agreed Michiru.

The checkpoint was still causing him some unease, until one of the disguised Lemures stepped up.

"Shall we hold them?" it asked.

"No. Let them go for now. I will deal with them later," Vassago replied sharply.

"Very well, sir," said the lemures, then he gave the other lemures the go ahead to return their ID cards to Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna.

"They're not gonna let us pass, Haruka," whispered Michiru.

But she suddenly spoke too soon.

"Miss Tenoh, your Mugen Academy ID's check out perfectly. You may continue unhindered," the lemures said to her.

"Okay, I told you it was gonna work. No problem," Haruka smirked, and she moved them off towards the repair shop.

Cody breathed a brief sigh of relief, and collapsed against the back of his seat, only for Setsuna to rest her hand on his shoulder. But unknown to them, Vassago changed back into his royal garments in a whoosh of darkness, and stormed away to continue the search for PallaPalla.

"Good, CereCere, JunJun, and VesVes. I can sense that one of you is getting closer to PallaPalla. Soon you will all be reunited. I shall prepare the ritual of restiaton," Zirconia said as she watched the pieces on the holographic map before her.

VesVes was now walking quietly down the city streets, when she noticed something was causing the amulet that Zirconia gave her to glow with an eerie dark blue color. The garbage workers were now busily loading up their garbage truck so that it would be taken to the city dump, then without even a bit of warning, she jumped behind the truck and noticed a young garbage worker around seventeen years old just finishing up.

"Excuse me, sir," she said in as polite of a tone she could muster.

"Huh, what's a young lady like you doing here? I was about to take this moment to head back to my parents after I finish this job," replied the garbage worker.

"Aw, why would you say that to a sweet adorable girl like me, cutie? I just want to know which garbage dump you're gonna take it to," VesVes swooned as she proceeded to flirt with him.

"Just to the Juban dump, which is not too far from this place," he replied.

"Can you take me there, please?" she cooed.

"Well, okay, but I should warn you that it'll really smell horrible when we arrive," replied the garbage worker.

Meanwhile, at the Crown Fruit Parlor, Chibiusa and Riku decided it was time for them to take a brief little breather after their battle with Vassago in the dark illusion.

"Hey, don't you think we should head back to Usagi and Mamo, Big Brother Riku?" she asked.

"Well, maybe, but that previous battle really got me worn out. But, I've got a feeling someone's given Unazuki trouble, so we'd better see what's up," replied Riku.

They soon walked inside, when one of the workers saw them.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" he demanded sharply.

"Wait a minute, they're not the bad guys," Unazuki said quickly.

"Yeah, she's right. Lower that pan right now. They're not the ones who hurt that customer," agreed Motoki, who was visiting.

"Aw, geez, I'm sorry. Last time we came here, some girl called PallaPalla showed up out of the blew and really made a mess of the place. Things have been pretty hectic since then," said the cook.

"We know, sir," replied Riku.

"Officer, do you know what happened?" asked Chibiusa

"We simply had a bit of a slight altercation. There's nothing to worry about, young lady. Sometimes the roughest and toughest of characters like to ravage these poor people," replied the police officer.

"The officer's right. Sometimes we get some pretty shady characters, and keeping the peace can sometimes fall on Mako's shoulders, which she can find to be pretty annoying at times," agreed Unazuki.

"Yeah, that sounds about right. But, why don't the two of you take some time to take a load off. I'll order you something, so consider today's lunch on me," added Makoto.

But neither of them knew that VesVes was busily flirting with the garbage worker near the garbage truck that was just about to take out the trash.

"I guess someone like you is pretty adorable, so I guess we're cool," he said to her.

VesVes gave off a sweet yet innocent giggle, until the other workers loaded up the last of the garbage bags loaded onto the garbage truck. When it was done, the truck's engine started, and they slowly lumbered away into the distance.

"Big Brother Riku, what's wrong?" Chibiusa asked worriedly.

"I sense a terrible darkness. It's fueled by revenge," Riku replied quietly.

"Should we talk to Pegasus?" wondered his soul sister.

"Yeah, Little Sister. Take out the Stallion Reve, and let Pegasus know that something's up," he murmured.

Chibiusa did just that, and soon Pegasus appeared in a brief flash of light.

"Is something wrong, Riku?" Pegasus asked.

"I'm afraid so, Pegasus. Something sinister is lurking in the city, and it's really making me feel uneasy. I have a feeling that someone familiar is after one of my friends for revenge," Riku answered quietly.

"According to what I know, some girl called PallaPalla nearly succeeded in revealing our big secret to everyone, but was stopped just in time, until Usagi and I realized that our cavities were actually real and not fabricated. At first, I thought Big Brother Riku had been killed, after he was beaten by her, and she even almost succeeded in getting Sora killed as well, which nearly drove her as Sailor Moon completely mad," added Chibiusa.

"From what I can tell, revenge won't bring happiness. It will only bring darkness and sorrow, and even cause a lot of harm for the people around you, regardless of your dark history with them," explained the winged horse.

"I just hope Sora's careful," murmured Riku.

"Listen, I hope you don't get sick of looking at all the scrap and rotting food in the city dump," warned the garbage worker, who identified himself as Hiroshi.

"Well, don't worry about it too much. Besides, I always had a soft spot for cute boys," replied VesVes, who continued her flirty mannerisms.

"Yeah, but I have a feeling that things will be a lot worse, even though I don't know how," sighed Hiroshi.

At last they arrived at the Juban dump, and although VesVes didn't like the smell, she knew that Hiroshi was right in his judgment, since she decided to hold off on having a good meal, or she'd be very unhappy and ill. She looked at the amulet on her chest, and began to grow anxious.

"I hope you're close, PallaPalla," she murmured.

She continued to look at it, while also making sure that she closed her eyes so that she wouldn't get too motion sick from the sharp turns.

"You can stop here now. I'll head off on foot, and seek out the person I'm looking for on foot," VesVes said to Hiroshi.

"Well, okay then. But like I said, you should be careful," replied Hiroshi.

"Oh, I will. But before we part ways, I'd like to do something that'll make your night more enjoyable," cooed the beast tamer.

Sometime later, Hiroshi was now transformed into a Heartless, after his brief "sleepover" with VesVes, who was fully satisfied when she left the inn.

"You were cute, Hiroshi. But I've got my sights set on Sora when I take his dream mirror at his most vulnerable moment," she grinned, then blew his Heartless form a goodbye kiss, and walked away.

After a short while she soon entered the dump, and continued on her merry way.

"I'm on my way, PallaPalla," VesVes said to herself.

With the amulet Zirconia around her neck, glowing once more, VesVes knew that she was on the right track, as she began her search for PalaPalla in the city dump. The stench was horrible, until the Amulet blinked out.

"Oh, come on! I'm so close, DARN IT!" she cried out in fury.

This suddenly drew the attention of a lemures that was watching from nearby. It looked similarly like GaraGara Girl, the Dream Eating Serpent.

"Hey, sweet cheeks, need a hand?" it asked her.

"Get out of here! I don't have time for you!" VesVes snapped angrily.

She slammed her fists on the hood of a broken up car, and the snake darted away.

"Hey, over here," said the creature.

VesVes however, caught it, and managed to grip it's neck in her hand, then held her whip dangerously at her side.

"You looking for someone?" asked the lemures.

"What do you know about it?" VesVes asked darkly.

"Well, I'm special lemures that Prince Vassago sent here, so that I could help you out. If it's someone very important to you, I can help you out as best I can, only for the right amount," it explained.

VesVes grew even more furious, and gripped the lemures' neck even more furiously.

"Okay, okay, okay, I meant that I can help you for my own convenience, not for someone else's like PallaPalla," it said quickly.

"Yeah, well, no thanks. I can do this on my own," remarked VesVes, and she cast him aside.

She stormed away in a huff, but was growing more impatient with each passing moment, as she told the Amulet to guide her on the path to PallaPalla.

"Wait just a moment, please. Maybe you need a guide to help you through this territory," said the Lemures.

"I told you to leave me alone!" snapped VesVes.

But the snakelike creature continued to persist in following her.

"Trust me when I say that everything here is just garbage," it told her.

"Wait, it's not?" VesVes asked.

"There are things that are like us, because we are living breathing creatures of all types. Maybe you could be looking for something that's just like that," replied the lemures.

"Okay, fine, just show me the way," sighed the beast tamer.

"To put it simply, you're already heading in the right direction. But that little trinket of yours is not working perfectly, but I can help you try and avoid those smelting machines," it explained.

"Wait, the smelting machines?" wondered VesVes.

As if to answer her question, a gigantic Heartless appeared and set the scrap ablaze with his fire magic.

"Yep, those are the smelters, and they'll melt the flesh right off your bones, and leave you behind. You'd better stay close to me, Master VesVes," said the Lemures.

Nodding in agreement, VesVes raced after the snake as fast as her legs would carry her. The Amulet bounced off her chest as she ran until she managed to reach a safe location. She saw more garbage trucks dumping their loads on top of all the other junkpiles around her, as she continued running. At last they had managed to reach safety, when they saw some of the garbage workers looking down at her.

"Oh, these grungers are definitely an odd bunch," said the snake.

"Yeah, no kidding. Looks like their scent's a bit off putting, after I slept with a handsome garbage worker named Hiroshi, and let him be turned into a Heartless. But, I'm hopeful about meeting Sora again, until unveil his dream mirror," replied VesVes.

"Well, we'd better get out of here, or they might get really annoyed," said the lemures.

The garbage workers were growing annoyed, but at the same time they noticed that VesVes seemed cute, despite their difference in age.

"Oh wow, you seem pretty popular amongst some of these guys," it said to VesVes.

"Yeah, well if some of these guys want a fight, I'll give them a fight," remarked VesVes.

She drew her whip, and began striking at them with it, as they closed the distance around her, until she drew her quarterstaff and began fighting with it also. The snake-like lemures had never seen her using two weapons like that before. She continued to fight with all of her prowess, until the remaining junkers fled for their lives. Suddenly, one of the junkers was about to use a discarded slingshot against VesVes, when the lemures coiled itself around him and knocked him out for good measure. The Lemures was impressed, as it watched all the garbage workers leaving quietly.

"So, do you know who you're searching for?" it asked.

VesVes didn't reply.

"Oh, come on," quipped the lemures.

"PallaPalla. I've been tasked to find her," VesVes replied sharply.

"Well, does she look like you?" asked the creature.

"If you saw her, then yes, but her hair and outfit are blue, while mine are red," she answered.

"Well, I just heard a couple of interesting stories about a young girl who's around your age, hiding out inside some old junk she managed to make her home in. And here I thought it was some phony story that someone made up," explained the lemures.

"How do you know that?" questioned VesVes.

"Oh, let's just say that there are rumors of a monster that drags things down into some sort of parlor, like a spider waiting for it's prey to come waltzing into its web, and no one ever escapes her alive. Although it's nothing more than wild rumors, like I told you," it said.

VesVes just stormed away, until they heard the sound of thunder rumbling up above.

"Uh oh, looks like this rain is acidic, and it's gonna melt us down if we don't find any shelter," said the Lemures.

"Then we'll hide out in this ruin, until it clears up," replied VesVes, and she raced inside.

They entered the shelter just in time, but VesVes' bikini top was nearly ruined, along with her leggings.

"Hey, look there," the lemures said.

There was the body of another garbage worker, stripped down to the bone, and left dangling upside down. VesVes looked at it carefully, then approached it as the amulet began to glow once more, even after using her magic to repair the damage to her clothes. She looked down at her amulet.

"That must be it," she said.

She continued to search around for PallaPalla, only to find another set of bones that tumbled down and faded away into dust.

"Sounds to me that nobody's here after all, sweet cheeks," said the lemures.

"You know I can see that!" snapped VesVes, and she stormed off.

She was growing even more impatient until the amulet went black.

"No! That old witch, Zirconia! She's turned against me! PallaPalla may be dead!" cried VesVes.

Enraged, she threw the bones of those that had died out of the shelter and watched them melt away in the acidic rain, when suddenly…

Creak!

"Well, she's not the only one to have turned against you," smirked the Lemures, and smacked the floor, causing her to tumble down into the lowest part of the junkyard, which was underground.

"But you'll most certainly be a nice meal, and when my master has had her share, I'll eat the leftovers," it cackled.

But VesVes landed safely on her feet, and brushed the dust off herself. Suddenly, she looked around and heard what looked like mechanical clanking sounds echoing around her. She looked around in shock.

"Is it you, PallaPalla?" she asked in surprise.

Summoning her orb, she used its power to light her way, even though Nehelenia hated the light, because of how it would burn her and cast her aside. Slowly but cautiously, VesVes walked carefully through the darkened junk filled tunnels, and began searching around. The clanking sound echoed behind her, followed by the sound of another girl growling venomously. Closer and closer it came, right behind VesVes, who was still looking around. Then she heard a loud yell in the distance.

"Is it you, PallaPalla?" she asked again, her voice echoing around the room.

The other girl snarled, and scampered away, causing VesVes to follow after the sound. Suddenly, she turned around, and ran after what appeared to be a spider-like creature, but was unsure if it was PallaPalla.

"Hey you! Stop right there! What have you done with PallaPalla!? Tell me, you monster!" cried VesVes.

But VesVes was suddenly shoved back against a wall, by the spider-like creature, and began to think that it was a new kind of lemures that either Zirconia or Vassago had sent to kill her, while she began to punch the strange creature, then kicked it back. The creature writhed with pain, then grabbed at the beast tamer with its hands. The amulet began to glow brightly, until it illuminated the person that VesVes was searching for.

"What?" she asked.

"VesVes looked up in shock.

"It can't be…" she said in awe.

It was PallaPalla, the Ball Balancer of the Amazoness Quartet.

"PallaPalla," murmured VesVes.

"NO! NO!" screamed PallaPalla, as she fled.

"Wait, PallaPalla!" called VesVes, and raced after her.

"NO! NO! AGH! WHY!? HOW!? WHO AM I!?" howled the ball balancer.

PallaPalla writhed and snarled, sounding nothing like herself, due to her appearance, because of how Sora had wounded her back in the crumbling playhouse.

"No! NO!" she snapped furiously.

"You are the PallaPalla I've been searching for!" VesVes said, her eyes filled with concern.

"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" shouted PallaPalla.

"Yes, you are! You are PallaPalla the Ball Balancer!" argued the beast tamer.

"No! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You don't know… You don't know ANYTHING!" protested the Ball Balancer, who was now even more unhinged.

She crawled away from VesVes and clambered onto another junkpile.

"NEVER! Never!" she raved.

"I know you're part of the Amazoness Quartet," VesVes tried to assure her.

"NEVER! Never. Never! AGH!" howled PallaPalla.

Her laughter was nothing like her cutsie laughter, when the lemures approached VesVes from behind.

"I'm hungry for the leftovers," it said.

But the lemures was wrong, because VesVes was still alive, and tried to back away. Enraged, VesVes grabbed it by the throat and began to strangle it.

"Who did this to PallaPalla? Were you a part of this!?" she demanded angrily.

"No! You're wrong! I found her like this! It wasn't my fault! I found her this way!" gasped the lemures.

"You can't be trusted. You're a slithering liar and a sneak! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HELPING HER!" screamed the beast tamer, and her grip tightened around the lemures' neck.

The snake-like creature tried to tell VesVes that it didn't know, until the snapping of bones was heard, and VesVes cast it's corpse onto the fire, while PallaPalla continued to writhe and rave.

"So, this is where you live? How long have you been here?" VesVes asked in a calm manner.

"Weeks and weeks and weeks. Through victory my chains are broken. The chains… The chains are the easy part. It's what goes on in here that's hard," wailed the ball balancer.

"You haven't been yourself, PallaPalla. Do you remember your place in the Dead Moon Circus, and the Amazon Jungle?" VesVes asked.

"Always remember, PallaPalla's fear. Always remember, PallaPalla's hunter. Always remember, PallaPalla's filth! Always remember, PallaPalla's nothing!" PallaPalla raved venomously, as her voice went from calm to angry then to somber.

Suddenly, VesVes saw something different about PallaPalla, and looked down below her waist.

"You're legs," she said in shock.

"That scum. He paralyzed them after he bested me! He did this!" PallaPalla snapped furiously.

"Who? Who did this?" VesVes asked hurriedly.

"Sora… Sora…" PallaPalla seethed with fury.

"Sora did this to you?" inquired the beast tamer.

"Always remember not to forget, a child's dream is a dream they should never get! Mercy is not the way! Vengeance matters more! Blood, death and destruction! Dreams are nothing but lies and filth! Corrupting the dreams of children is the way! The golden mirror must be found!" raved the ball balancer.

"What? What is it? PallaPalla, what are you saying?" questioned VesVes.

"Through the filth. Through the grief! SORA!" screamed PallaPalla, who shoved VesVes back.

But the ball balancer slowly calmed down.

"Revenge… PallaPalla must have revenge," she said darkly.

Meanwhile, back in Hikawa Shrine, Sora stood near Rei who was meditating near the fire, and was chanting towards it.

"What is it, Rei?" he asked.

"I'm sensing a powerful disturbance from far away," replied the priestess.

She still sat with her hands held in prayer.

Can you sense it as well?" Rei replied.

"Yeah, I do, Rei," said Sora.

"I have a feeling you might be in danger. Someone from the darkness is coming to hunt you down through a personal vendetta of vengeance," explained the shrine maiden.

"From the darkness?" he questioned.

"She bested Riku, and almost killed you as well, right in front of Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa, all those days ago," Rei said worriedly.

"How is this possible?" Sora asked, looking confused.

He blinked skeptically.

"I beat her before," he said.

"Now she's coming to kill you," replied Rei.

"PallaPalla… out for my blood?" Sora asked himself quietly.

He pondered this for a short while, then quickly raced out of the shrine, past Lord Hino and Youichirou, who were surprised by this sudden change of attitude.

"Is something wrong, Sora?" they asked.

Using her orb, VesVes carried the mentally unstable PallaPalla back to the Dead Moon Circus tent, and arrived in the storage room where all the items would be kept on display. CereCere and JunJun were surprised to see her, but were even more surprised to see the now changed PallaPalla, who was still raving.

"Hey, PallaPalla, we're here. PallaPalla, we need to go," she said.

But PallaPalla didn't reply, she was only saying Sora's name over and over again, which made the other two amazoness concerned. She grabbed two crates and pulled them near her.

"Alright, fine, stay here while I get Granny Zirconia and Prince Vassago," sighed VesVes, and she walked away.

She soon entered the chamber and saw Zirconia looking down from the dais in the arena. She looked around to see that there were no other lemures nearby, as they had already learned of the return of PallaPalla, and began chatting amongst each other from the shadows. Then in a burst of black smoke, Zirconia appeared.

"Welcome back, VesVes," she said to her.

"Yeah, nice to see you too, Granny," replied VesVes.

"I'm pleased that you've returned, but did you get PallaPalla?" Zirconia asked warily.

"I did, but where are the lemures? Normally they'd be dancing about and singing songs about Sephiroth with Vassago watching them while on his mother's throne," the beast tamer said.

"They decided that our plans would have to be put on hold for now, until we got the ball balancer back to our side, but we will have Pegasus, VesVes. We must get Pegasus and the Golden Crystal, but I'm pleased to know that you found PallaPalla, as I hoped you would," replied the witch.

"Yes, but she's damaged. Her memories are fragmented after Sora defeated her back then," VesVes explained.

But she is aware that he is a Keyblade Master," assured Zirconia.

"Oh yeah, that guy. I know that I started developing a crush on him, but at the same time I'm pretty angry at him for hurting PallaPalla. An obsession like that could destroy her in the long run," she replied.

Then Zircon flew down from Zirconia's scepter and floated beside her.

"Come. Let us fix what has been broken," Zirconia said, causing the winged eyeball to glow with an eerie blue light.

She allowed it to float towards PallaPalla.

"Come to me. Come to me. Follow us, child of the Dead Moon Circus. Follow me, lost child. Come, child of the Dead Moon Circus. Follow me," she spoke as if she were like a caring grandmother.

Entranced by Zirconia's voice, PallaPalla clicked and clacked after the elderly woman, with VesVes at her side. At last they came to the quartet's chamber, where CereCere and JunJun were sitting on their beds, until they saw PallaPalla again, with a curious smile on her face, as if she were like a newborn baby. They watched as she was now near her own bed, where all her dolls and toys were piled upon it, then turned and faced Zirconia, who called Zircon back to her scepter.

"Now, sleep," she said to the young girl, and tapped her forehead with her finger.

PallaPalla cried out in shock, then fell on her back and lay motionless on the bed. The three members of the quartet watched anxiously, until her mechanized legs fell and clattered to the ground, leaving the spider body intact.

"Now what?" asked JunJun.

"Now, we begin," replied Zirconia.

She soon used her dark power to perform an exorcism, and began chanting in a strange language that no one could understand. PallaPalla's eyes suddenly snapped wide open, when she saw Zirconia's hands looking all spectral and terrifying. She howled and flailed as if something was pulling out her brain, but instead the witch was extracting the darkness that contaminated her mind, which drove her to madness. Using her dark powers, Zirconia continued to perform the ritual, as PallaPalla rose up from the bed and hung in the air, with her arms at either side. Black mist swirled around her, and she suddenly began to feel something that was of flesh and blood returning to her. Then her frail form soon returned to it's youthful splendor, and VesVes saw that PallaPalla's legs were suddenly being restored, as if they were being regrown by some sort of mysterious power. With another loud cry, PallaPalla suddenly began to let that feeling of her legs being brought back make her cry out, as she was lowered safely down onto the bed, just as the rest of the quartet came to her side.

"Rise, PallaPalla, reborn child of Dead Moon," Zirconia said, as she tapped her head.

PallaPalla's eyes snapped open, as if a bell in a church sounded around them.

"PallaPalla?" VesVes asked.

PallaPalla slowly sat up, then grabbed VesVes' face, as she took hold of her arm.

"VesVes," she growled angrily.

Then Zirconia faded away into the darkness, as she watched the ball balancer release the beast tamer, while the flower master and the acrobat stood in awe. PallaPalla took this opportunity to move her now restored feet, by rolling her ankles slowly, and wriggling her toes.

"My… My legs," she said, still seething with rage, but now calm and relaxed.

"Granny Zirconia restored them with her magic, thanks to Nehelenia," JunJun explained.

"It's been several days, and PallaPalla's path has gotten dark. Darker than PallaPalla ever thought it would be," PallaPalla explained.

"But you're still alive," CereCere assured her friend.

As PallaPalla tried to take her first step, only to stumble against VesVes, who caught her and sat her back on the bed, but she pushed her back harshly, and turned sharply towards CereCere.

"Of course PallaPalla survived," she said angrily.

She raced out of the chamber and into the circus arena. The quartet followed after her, and saw her stop, only to look up at the ceiling, and unleash a mighty roar which echoed everywhere, causing Rei's blood to run cold along with Riku's.

"By the light of Phobos and Deimos. I sense something dark and cold," she shuddered.

"PallaPalla's hatred kept PallaPalla's spirit intact, even though PallaPalla's legs were rendered useless. Yet PallaPalla was lost and PallaPalla ended up becoming a rabid animal. And such as how you found PallaPalla, VesVes, discarded, forgotten. PallaPalla's been alone for a short while, and missed so much. Pegasus is still out there, isn't he?" PallaPalla said.

"Yeah, we know that Sora defeated you, but that winged horse is still out there," replied JunJun.

"Oh yes, so he still is, but we'll get him soon," whispered the ball balancer.

"This time we'll all hunt him down," said CereCere, and she passed her quarterstaff to the ball balancer.

PallaPalla grabbed it sharply, and held it at her side.

"PallaPalla was so close to uncovering the true host of Pegasus. PallaPalla nearly achieved that objective, only to be thwarted. But PallaPalla was robbed of that chance by a Keyblade Master. By a boy called Sora," she seethed.

"Then you must have your revenge, PallaPalla," replied CereCere.

"Yes, we shall start with revenge," PallaPalla smirked dementedly.

Soon they came to Juban Park, where they saw several children playing games with each other, even as they appeared in a fresh set of disguises, but PallaPalla's friends were growing worried at the sudden shift in attitude within her.

"Hey, PallaPalla, What are we doing here?" JunJun asked warily.

"Yeah, the Warriors of Light wouldn't even dream of being this far off in the city with all these other kids about," agreed CereCere.

"In a city filled with beautiful dreamers, there is only one way to get the attention of the Warriors of Light. Slaughter of the innocent. Mercilessly and without compromise," sneered PallaPalla, who drew her quarterstaff, causing a sharp blade to appear out from its side.

She signaled CereCere to use a Communication Orb to send a message to Sora, who was at Hikawa Shrine with Rei and the others. But then Usagi and Chibiusa saw something that literally chilled them to the bone.

"There will be more innocent blood on your hands, Sora! Unless you come here! Come alone! Face PallaPalla! Come alone, and if you do not, this city will burn!" she cried out in fury, then cut down the children in cold blood, making Sora flinch as he turned away from the carnage.

"I have to go," Sora told the others.

"Not alone, you won't. I'm going with you too," protested Makoto.

"No, Mako. You've seen what she's capable of. PallaPalla's a broken unbalanced monster. I've fought her before, and I can do it again," he argued.

"Sora, Mako, please, this isn't the time to start an argument, but I'm afraid I have to disagree with you, as it could probably be a trap," interjected Rei.

"It may be against my better judgment, but I have to agree with Sora on this one, guys. He has to finish what he started back in that twisted playhouse," said Mamoru.

"I'll head off to Juban Park," Sora said to them, and he walked out of the shrine.

"Mamoru, if PallaPalla has indeed truly returned, she might possess a great deal of information about why she and the others are hunting down Pegasus alone," Rei said once Sora was gone.

"But Sora won't be alone. I think he might find help from someone we know from back during the Death Buster Crisis. We'll need to place our trust in him," assured Chibiusa.

Sometime after leaving her car in the repair shop so that it would have it's engine repaired and refitted, Haruka, Michiru, Cody, and Setsuna sat inside a cafe in a booth, when the dirty blonde heard some people talking about what happened to Hiroshi the garbage hauler.

"I wouldn't recommend dealing with her. I'll investigate it on my own," she said quietly to the others.

"Please be careful, Haruka," warned Michiru, as she saw her stand up and walk out the door.

"I'm gonna head to the restroom for a bit. Make sure you two keep me posted for now," said Cody.

Soon, Sora arrived at Juban Park, which was now set ablaze, but was also overrun with Heartless after they had taken the hearts of the children and their families, thus increasing their ranks even further. The noxious scent of black smoke filled his nostrils, making him sick to his stomach, but he kept his composure and made sure not to cough up something disgusting and spit it out on the ground. The sight was horrible to him, and made him even more scared than before, until he saw something that looked familiar, silhouetted by the fire behind it.

"Keybearer! PallaPalla has been waiting for you," glowered PallaPalla, who stood before him with a dark cold glare in her eyes.

"I'm not sure I've made your acquaintance," replied Sora.

"PallaPalla's surprised you could have forgotten PallaPalla so easily, after PallaPalla defeated Riku, and you forced PallaPalla to flee, an emotional wreck!" sneered the ball balancer.

"It is you," he murmured.

"You may have forgotten PallaPalla! But PallaPalla will never forget you! You cannot imagine the depths PallaPalla would go through to stay alive! Fueled by PallaPalla's singular hatred for you!" she said furiously.

"That may be so, but I defeated you before, and I can do it again," Sora remarked as he readied his Keyblade.

But PallaPalla giggled malevolently.

"Don't be so sure of that," she grinned, just as CereCere landed behind him.

"CereCere!?" he gasped.

"This is for hurting her, Sora," growled the Flower Master, and she attacked furiously, giving him barely any time to fight back, just as PallaPalla landed near him.

Although Sora tried his best to fight, he was quickly disarmed as his Keyblade was sent flying out of his hand, and was kicked down to the ground. Taking this chance, PallaPalla pushed him back towards CereCere, who punched him hard, causing him to fall to the ground. He stood up, and tried to fight back, but was punched to the ground again, and was rendered unconscious. A demented grunt leaped out of PallaPalla's throat, but neither she nor her comrade knew that someone was coming to his side to help out, after she heard the terrifying scream within the circus tent. Haruka Tenoh had also seen the fire, and even sensed that her friendly rival was in danger. She would not allow anyone on the side of darkness to hurt him, as she knew that this rivalry was built on a shared dislike of darkness. However, PallaPalla began knocking Sora about, using several explosive orbs to damage Sora, but not unveil his dream mirror. She wanted to make him pay for what he did to her back then in that false dentistry she created with her own power. Finally, she flung him towards VesVes, who gave him a bit of a flirty smile, when his chin was right on her chest.

"You should buy me dinner first, before we have that kind of a relationship, Sora," she said, then gently pushed him back.

"Still as weak as ever," glowered the ball balancing amazoness.

She backhanded him, then JunJun kicked him hard against the wall, due to her acrobatic nature and skill in martial arts, until CereCere flung him towards several crates inside a small warehouse.

"And they call you Master," PallaPalla said, lowering her voice to a dark cold tone.

"You know, when I planned to defeat you, I should've gone for the head, just as Thor did with Thanos after what that monster did back then, only to have everybody restored to life thanks to Doctor Bruce Banner's Hulk self using the empowered Infinity Gauntlet," remarked Sora.

"Save your breath, Sora!" snapped CereCere, then she grabbed his ankle and flung him back towards the blue amazoness.

PallaPalla nodded for them to leave her alone with Sora, as her eyes gained an even darker glare, while JunJun and VesVes decided to return to the circus tent to inform Zirconia and Vassago about how PallaPalla was now torturing Sora before they revealed his dream mirror to see if it did contain Pegasus. Neither of them knew that Sailor Uranus was now hurrying as fast as she could to help Sora, even though she still had that strong belief of how her heart belonged to Michiru, by jumping up into a nearby tree so that she could watch from a safe distance.

"Anything more to say, Sora?" PallaPalla asked menacingly

"I'll admit that I'm glad your legs are back to normal, and have made you a bit taller," replied Sora.

But he was soon grabbed by the throat, and began to feel the ball balancer's fingers around it, causing him to choke and gag.

"PallaPalla will make sure you stay awake long enough to feel every strike of my quarterstaff. Your demise will be beyond anything PallaPalla's ever imagined, after we reveal your dream mirror. You will suffer as PallaPalla has suffered," she said darkly.

CereCere returned, even as Haruka managed to reach another tree, then stood hiding behind the trunk, even with her Space Sword at her side, still sheathed. Finally, she stepped out and looked at the scene.

"Well, well, what a surprise. I see two girls standing over a guy that they're bullying and beating to a paste. You know, a certain Sailor Guardian wouldn't like the idea of trying to kill someone who can't even fight back. She'd say that it'd be extremely unforgivable," she told them.

"She's my sister," remarked CereCere.

"Huh. You're sister? I'd say she's half the person that she is, unlike you, flower girl. I'm kind of disappointed. I expected more of a challenge, not some bikini clad girls who aren't even on the beach. That'd make any older guy start to think such disgusting things about you two," smirked Sailor Uranus, and she sauntered away.

"Who is she, CereCere?" PallaPalla asked.

"Another Sailor Guardian. She's very much like Sailor Moon and the others," replied the flower master.

"It's obvious she could have Pegasus in her dreams. Let's get her," said the ball balancer, and they raced after her, but not before knocking Sora to the ground.

Once they were gone, Haruka slowly walked up to Sora, thanks to her distraction, turned him over, then began slapping his cheeks several times, hoping that he'd awaken, while also growing mildly annoyed at her rival.

"Wha… Haruka Tenoh?" he asked, dazed and surprised.

"Looks like I just became your rescuer, but don't get any stupid ideas about me, okay?" remarked the dirty blonde.

"Don't worry, I won't. But what the heck are you doing here? I thought you, Michiru, and Setsuna would be looking after Hotaru and her father, though I can't tell if this really is a lovely sight to wake up to," Sora said.

"Oh, for the love of… Don't try to flatter yourself. I get that you said you and Bunhead should have been the ones to fill our dark souls with light, but you kinda placed one of your many Keyblades a little too close to my face, when you placed it between us, until we felt a bracelet in our hands," explained Haruka.

"The Keyblade Master and the Sailor Guardian," CereCere said, interrupting them.

"Here, for the taking of their dream mirrors," added PallaPalla, and they drew their quarter staves.

Haruka soon drew her sword, and Sora did the same with his Keyblade.

"I'll help you out, just this once," she said.

"Fine with me. But next time, we'll have our rematch. Let's take 'em together," replied the brunette.

"With pleasure," agreed Haruka.

PallaPalla dropped down, and engaged Sora in a fierce clash of Keyblade and pike, just as Sailor Uranus clashed with CereCere, blocking her quarterstaff with her space sword. They quickly traded opponents, and even gave her the go ahead to use her World Shaking attack on them, only to see them dodge out of the way. It was a fierce clash, until Uranus saw her sword be sent flying out of her hand, when she was pushed into some crates. Luckily she recovered, and began punching CereCere as many times as she could, while also avoiding her deadly strikes, but sometimes wasn't fast enough to avoid being tossed about like a ragdoll, only to send more crates at her opponent, and then proceeded to punch her enemy multiple times, just as Makoto watched in shock and awe, even after turning into Sailor Jupiter. The fighting continued, even as Sora held his own against PallaPalla, until he noticed that his rival didn't have her sword on with her. Quickly, pushing the ball balancing amazon aside, Sora knew that he had to save Haruka, or she'd have her dream mirror unveiled by either of their Orb Shot attack. Quickly rolling over PallaPalla, Sora scooped up the space sword by the handle, and held it in his left hand, then quickly shoved his opponent back.

"Uranus, catch!" he called.

Sailor Uranus caught it, then blocked the Orb Shot just in time, and counter attacked. Sora turned and engaged PallaPalla again, until he saw the sharp blade poke out of her quarterstaff, but was quickly punched and kicked about by the enraged ball balancer. Climbing up to the roof, despite his injuries, Sora stood determined, just as his adversary caught up to him. They charged again, and as their battle continued on, they soon entered a bladelock, making PallaPalla lick her lips and smile wickedly.

"Your best friend, Riku. PallaPalla bested him and you stood helpless and watched. How did it make you feel, Sora?" she asked.

"SHUT UP!" he screamed, and struck back at her, but was soon pushed back and crashed against a wall, leaving him battered and beaten.

"Your rage strengthens Vanitas. Sailor Moon would be gravely disappointed in you, and cast you aside," taunted PallaPalla.

"You know nothing about Sailor Moon like I do," countered Sora.

He tried to attack again, but PallaPalla was prepared and sent him flying with a powerful kick, then sent him right down towards Sailor Uranus, who was busy with CereCere.

"We're outmatched," he said, after draining a potion to heal some of his injuries.

"So you want to run?" questioned Haruka.

"I learned from watching Sailor Moon, when she struggled with her first batch of bad guys," replied Sora.

"Ha, ha, very funny, but I'll go with retreating for now. We'll run for the exit," said the dirty blonde.

PallaPalla lunged at them, with the intent to kill them.

"NOW!" cried Sora, rushing at CereCere.

Uranus quickly blocked each of PallaPalla's blows, just as Sora did the same with the flowery amazoness, by feinting several attacks, then dodged and weaved past her strikes. It was a risky move, but he was near the exit of Juban Park.

"Uranus, come on!" he called.

Sailor Uranus nodded, then quickly ran towards Sora, jumped over CereCere, landed near her rival, then sent her Space Sword Blaster right at her enemy, right as PallaPalla lunged, roaring like a rabid lion.

"ICE WALL!" shouted Sora, sealing of the entrance with thick wall of ice.

PallaPalla soon extended the sharp blade, and began to chop madly at the ice, with CereCere sending several Explosive Orb Shots upon it.

"Hurry, Spiky!" she said.

"I'm working on it," he replied.

He knew that despite not wanting to rush things, they had to flee as fast as they could.

"Come on, hurry! Now would be a really good time to go!" cried Haruka.

"Cavaliere R!" Sora called, and soon hopped on the demonic looking motorcycle.

Although surprised, Haruka knew that she had no choice, and quickly sat behind him, just as Sora started the engine and raced away. At last, the ice wall shattered, but CereCere and PallaPalla saw that they had managed to escape with their lives, making the ball balancer even more angry than before. The two amazoness glared at the receding images of the two friendly rivals until they were out of sight.

"That was cutting it a little too close," Haruka said, after breathing a sigh of relief.

"You do know that it's not over yet," replied Sora.

"I know that," sighed the dirty blonde.

Now, they'll be after the both of us," he warned.

After returning to the circus tent, CereCere and PallaPall were reunited with VesVes and JunJun, looking rather displeased with their failure to kill Sora, but relatively satisfied with the deaths of several innocents in that playground, resulting in their hearts being overtaken by darkness for the Heartless to increase their ranks.

"So, what now, PallaPalla? Are we gonna go after them?" the redhead asked.

"No, we will be patient, VesVes. PallaPalla's waited so many weeks for PallaPalla's revenge. PallaPalla can wait a bit longer," she replied.

"But the Warriors of Light will know that you survived. They'll be coming for us," protested JunJun.

"PallaPalla's counting on it," assured PallaPalla, frightening them even more as her eyes narrowed.
