Hello there!
Okay... this is a idea that came out of nowhere. Let's hope for the best! xD

"Congratulations on another solar return my prince!" exclaimed and bowed one of his priests in a demonstration of respect and admiration. "Thank you. You may return to the feast now" and there went the man, but not before bowing yet again.
Atem looked up for the celebration happening. It was his solar return commemoration and even the low class workers were permitted to enter the palace, another gest of kindness from his father, the ruler…The Pharaoh. That made Atem move his attention to his father, sitting in his throne and smilling for his son. His boy would be assuming his place as Pharaoh sooner than the man could even expect.
"Attention! The Pharaoh shall speak!" shout one of the guardians and the palace instantly was silenced, every single person stopped to listen carefully, specially the prince sitting at a short distance from his father.
"My people! Tonight the Gods blessed our young prince with yet another cicle of his life, one that we shall pray upon…" But Atem's attention got disperced from his father's speech, he was trying to identify a commotion happening right next to the entrance of the ceremonial hall.
"Listen, girl…If you want me set your little friend free, you obey me and dance!" the guy was clearly losing his patience by that girl's defiance. "No! You listen, thief… I belong to no one! And if you do not give your word that you will release Serenity, I shall not dance. Even if it kills me" A hit right next to her face – against the wall – startled her "Fine! You have my word, but let me assure you… When I become the new ruler of Egypt, you shall face your punishment"
"Lord Bakura! Its time! The Pharaoh is finishing his speech!" The lord of the thiefs slowly moved away from the woman "get ready, fulfil your part of the deal". She could only node in silence agreement with the man.
"Long live prince Atem!" shout the crowd. But before the celebration could continue, a voice echoed at the entrance, catching everyone's attention. "Well, well, looks like we made it just in time!" and behind him humans could be seen riding horses. But Atem soon thought Are those shadowy figures with him were even humans?
"You! Who goes there that dare to disturb the ceremony! Identify yourself!" Seto, one of the Phaoraoh's trusted priests asked.
"Oh, please, pardon my rude intrusion, I came from the depths of the desert with the intention of celebrating our beloved's prince solar return! My Pharaoh, I bring a gift like no other, one worth of our young prince!" The guests looked at the Pharaoh filled with curiosity of what the ruler was about to decide.
"Very well… Your people held aeons of hatred against our disnaty. But I shall not let hate dictate our encounter. For that, show what you wish to bestow to our prince and we shall act accordingly."
"Of course, my king… I shall present our dear prince with a Songstress. A true flower of the desert. Teanna"
It was indeed the most beautiful woman Atem has ever seen. Her entrance silenced every soul present at the cerimonal hall. As soon as she begun to dance every single flame from the torches turned white, the flames were as beautiful and mysterious as that woman and he couldn't look away from her. Is she crying? That made Atem realize that the dance probably hurt her in a similar way to when he was injured in battle by losing his summoned beasts. "Stop at once!"
Teana became motionless before falling against her knees breathing hard. "How dare you not please the prince woman! Worry not, my prince. I, Bakura, shall give this woman he punishement she deserves!" She tried to get up once she saw that ruthless man coming towards her holding one of his swords but the dance took much of her strength I can't die here! Not like this, Not when my friends need me! MOVE LEGS. But he was too close already…That was it Jono…Serenity…Everyone. Forgive me.
She looked bravely at the man marching full of blood thirst towards her. She knew he felt pleasure at torture, she was not gonna let him win. "DIE YOU B-" but a hand holding his wrist caugh the attention of Bakura and Teana. "You shall not hurt this woman!"
"But my prince! She did not pleased you. She is worthless!"
"Guards! Take this man out of the palace immediately!" Shout the Pharaoh and the men hushed to detail the wicked man that started laughing "NOW! Archers!" everyone got distracted by those seingly non human chararcts at the horses that failed to see the actual humans silently invading the hall.
"Father!" But before anyone could have done something, it was too late… the Pharaoh was dead…
"Come Forth! My Blue Eyes!" and the roar was followed by screams from the thiefs "Guards! They are running away! Secure the villagers and take the horses to go after them!" Seto then run towards the prince that was now beside the motionless Phaoraoh and with the Songstress right next to him "Woman! You were part of that group of thiefs!" She looked up to see behind the man a huge white dragon about to attack her"
"Seto! I order you to stop!" and the dragon instangly pulled back " this woman was a victim of that thief! She shall be treated with respect!"
"Yes, as you wish."
"My prince…We shall take the king to be properly laid down to rest" said a short old man with a gentle expression.
"Shimon…" Atem was a shadow of his confidence self and the elder knew that he needed time to process.
"Please, let the guards guide you to your chambers, await there until we make sure is safe for you. We shall take your guest to another-"
"No. She stays in my chambers" He noticed the looks she was receiving from both guards and servants. They thought she was either a treat or an object. "Follow me." He addressed her and she slowly followed behind, being in no position to argue.
And while they walked, she could swear she saw quiet tears rolling out of that man's face
