Warnings: make out scene (doesn't go too far, but there are sexually suggestive themes)

"God bless fire drills, man," Jeff said gleefully with a little whoop as he cannon balled onto the couch in Wes' room. The other boys followed in varied stages of happiness about the free hour they had inadvertently gotten.

Nick, who was pleased because that meant finishing a particularly anxiety-inducing cliffhanger episode of his current show, eagerly plopped next to Jeff on the couch and went to his Netflix app.

Jeff shook his head fondly at his nerdy boyfriend and ruffled his hair, producing a small grin from the brunet.

David, who was not pleased because he was going to unveil his badass PowerPoint skills in the class they had to abandon, slumped down beside the couple on the couch. He let his head fall back and his shoulder strap from his bag slipped down as he heaved a depressed sigh.

"I just don't understand why everyone had to stampede out like that and break the computer. We could still be in class if not for that. Aren't we supposed to be gentlemen?"

"Chin up, Thompson," Jeff said with a pat on the boy's shoulder. "There's always tomorrow."

"I know. I'm just super bummed. I was so ready, like I played my hype music and everything!"

"I was super excited to see your spreadsheets, D," Blaine said sympathetically as he strolled in beside Kurt, eyes on his phone. He himself was pleased because Kurt was free from classes as well and anywhere Kurt was, he wanted to be.

"It was a PowerPoint."

"I was super excited to see your PowerPoint, D," Blaine said in the exact same tone as before and slipped his phone into his pocket. He perched on the arm of the couch and patted David's other arm.

Kurt leaned against the wall with arms crossed and tilted his head in pity. "Yeah, I'm sure they were great. You can show us now if you want."

"No!" Wes chimed in hastily as he hurried in after the others. "We don't have time. Warbler practice is in less than an hour and I have to change the music for two of our songs! Trent has a pneumonia and I don't know if he will be able to sing with us at our next competition."

Kurt perked up at this. "So there's a chance at a solo?"

Wes eyed him. "Maybe. But I need to work on this so I need all of you to shoo." He made a sweeping motion with his hands and immediately took a seat at his desk.

Jeff pulled a zoned out Nick up from the couch and then a morose David. "Come on, I have some ice cream in the mini fridge in my room. Blaine, Kurt. You guys want some of this action?"

"I am way behind on my English paper," Kurt lied smoothly as he hitched his bag up further into his shoulder. "Better go work on that." His gaze snagged on Blaine for a few pointed seconds over Jeff's shoulder.

Blaine's eyebrows shot up knowingly and he stumbled to his feet. "Oh! Oh, yeah. I have things to do too. Like, homework things. Lots. Papers. Yeah."

Jeff rolled his eyes at how incompetent Blaine was at hiding his relationship. If he kept this up, Wes would sniff it out in no time. "Right. Well, enjoy your homework, Blaine. Later, Kurt."

The three of them left and Kurt soon followed. Blaine swiftly left Wes behind muttering as he scribbled on some sheet music and raced to catch up with Kurt.

"So..." He matched Kurt's long stride and tried to act casual. Calm. Nonchalant. "Do you need help with your paper?"

"Sure." Kurt kept his eyes on the hallway in front of him as he turned the corner to where his room was. "How good are you at proofreading?"

"Oh, I got this," Blaine grinned. "I am down."

"Good, because it's due day after tomorrow," Kurt replied as he unlocked his door.

Blaine pursed his lips. Maybe Kurt wasn't secretly asking him to come make out. Maybe he legitimately needed homework help.

"Gotcha. Well, I will do my best."

Kurt locked the door behind them and turned around to lean his back on the surface. "Oh you will?" He raked his gaze down Blaine's body and the shorter boy suddenly felt warm.

"Yes." Blaine set his bag down on the table. "I can even go get my laptop if you need."

Kurt studied Blaine for long enough that he his neck began to itch.

"What?"

"You do realize I want to make out, right?" Kurt said. "My paper has been done for a week."

"Oh. Psh, yeah. I was just playing it cool."

Anything else Blaine was going to say was swallowed up by Kurt's lips on his as he was tugged over to him by his lapels and Blaine sunk into the kiss happily.

They were both smiling so hard that the kiss was almost all teeth, but neither seemed to care. Just as Blaine cupped the back of Kurt's head, his thumb grazing Kurt's neck, Kurt's breath hitched and something sharp stabbed Blaine lip and chin.

"Ow!"

Kurt shoved away from him so fast that Blaine almost fell down. He held his fingers to the sore spot. Blaine glanced up at Kurt who was standing several feet away with his hands over his mouth and glistening eyes.

"Kurt?" Blaine carefully stepped towards him and Kurt matched it with another step back. He shook his head. "Hey, it's fine. I'm fine."

"I hurt you." Kurt's voice came out small.

"You didn't. See?" He showed Kurt his slightly reddened lip that was otherwise okay. He stepped towards Kurt cautiously. "Is it your... Um, fangs?"

Kurt nodded and inspected Blaine's lip. Noting that it was indeed not injured, he relaxed somewhat. "It happens sometimes... if I get too carried away." He shrugged and looked at Blaine's shoulder instead of his face. "I'm sorry. Maybe I shouldn't--"

"Don't even try to say you aren't kissing me," Blaine said firmly as he tilted Kurt's chin up with a finger. The boy finally gave him eye contact and he gently kissed him on the lips.

Kurt smiled and allowed Blaine to tug him over to the bed.

"Can I see them?"

Kurt touched his mouth. "My fangs?"

"Yeah. Is that okay?"

Kurt pinched his lips together in thought and then finally opened his mouth slowly. He closed his eyes in focus for a few seconds and the needle-sharp teeth slid down.

Blaine's own mouth dropped open as he stared with wonder at the glistening fangs. "Can I touch them?"

Kurt, feeling very much like he was at the dentist, nodded. Blaine carefully touched the fangs, sliding the pad of his finger down the slick surface.

"They're a lot like mine," Blaine said quietly. "Just thinner and longer."

Kurt watched how Blaine studied his teeth, impressed rather than repulsed. His hazel eyes swept over Kurt's mouth and teeth and Kurt felt it like a touch. After he had looked his fill, Blaine sat back and Kurt concentrated until the fangs retracted back up into his mouth. He hadn't thought about the fact that Blaine had fangs too. It made them similar instead of scaring his boyfriend away.

With a devilish smile, Blaine slid off the bed. "You showed me yours, shall I show you mine?"

Kurt blushed and joined his hands in his lap so that he wouldn't twist them worriedly. "What do you mean?" He licked his lips.

"I'll show you what I look like as a wolf!" Blaine smiled brilliantly and spread his hands wide. "It's only fair since you showed me your vampire teeth. What do you say?"

"Okay. Yeah, sure."

Blaine bounced on the balls of his heels. "I can't wait for you to see! Now, the guys make fun of me, but I think I look pretty cute as a wolf--"

"What are you doing?" Kurt's voice cracked a little as he swallowed. "Why are you taking off your clothes?"

In his excitement to show Kurt his wolf form, he had forgotten that he had to undress to do so and Kurt was staring at him in horror as he stood in his boxer shorts, open shirt, and socks.

"Oops," he said sheepishly and hurried into the bathroom. "I'll just be a second."

Kurt took deep breaths and tried not to think about all the skin he had just seen. He knew his boyfriend hadn't meant to tease him, but he couldn't help how excited he was getting. Blaine's personality wasn't the only reason Kurt had fallen for him. Soon, the bathroom door cracked and then swung open slowly as a wolf with curly black fur padded out.

For a moment, Kurt forgot that it was Blaine standing in front of him and he froze in fear. However, the wolf whined and blinked its huge, honey eyes at him. Those were without a doubt Blaine's eyes and the wolf was sort of smiling at him in that way only a dog could. Blaine stepped towards him and wagged a furry tail. He presented his head in an encouragement. With a sharp intake of breath, Kurt reached out for him.

Blaine wagged his tail even harder as Kurt stroked his silky fur and leaned into his hand. His fur felt so much like his hair and Kurt twisted a curl around his finger. A smile broke out across his face. "Can you understand me?"

Blaine nodded and licked his hand.

"Ew," Kurt said with his nose scrunched up. He wiped his wet hand on his pants. "Don't lick me. You are pretty cute as a wolf."

Blaine tilted his head.

"Don't look at me like that. You're cute as a human too."

Blaine's tail thumped against the floor and he nudged his head back onto Kurt's hand. Kurt shook his head. "You're going to make me pet you until it's time for Warbler practice, aren't you?"

Blaine just wiggled deeper into Kurt's touch and he sighed. He supposed he could spend his time worse ways.

"Okay gentlemen!" Wes banged his beloved gavel against the desk to silence all the chitchat in the Warbler practice room. He had finally gotten everything ready minutes before practice and he was much calmer now. "Let's take it from the top. Thad, you're a little flat on the first verse. Jon, I need the beatboxing more crisp when we hit the chorus. And Jeff, for my sanity's sake, please pay attention to your steps! I don't know what you're looking at, but we are practicing here and it's sloppy. Now where is Blaine? Blaine!"

The boy in question wheeled around and smiled at Wes. He had been in a great mood these last few days, but by god had he been absent-minded. And that was saying something for Blaine since he always had his head in the clouds. Wes hoped that meant he had finally made a connection with one of his suitors or he had moved on from his little crush on Kurt. Speaking of…

"Blaine, go get into position. Kurt!"

The creepy vamp- er, boy was busy examining his already perfect nails in a bored way, but he acknowledged Wes when he called.

"Kurt, can you go up an octave? I don't want you to strain your voice."

Kurt scoffed and unhitched himself from the sofa arm. "Oh please. I can hit a high F in my sleep. Another octave would be nothing." He tossed his head in cocky confidence and Wes heard a weird little squeak come from his right. He turned.

"Blaine? What's wrong?"

"Nothing!" Blaine shouted, then let loose a crazy laugh. His cheeks went red. "I'm fine. Totally fine. Yup. I'm not thinking about anyone, like a secret boyfriend."

Wes lifted a brow, but let it go. Maybe Blaine had finally snapped under the pressure. "Okaaay. Anyway, let's get started. Jon?"

The named boy obliged and was followed by the others singing their parts. Except one.

"Stop! Stop, stop! Austin! What are you doing?"

The short, dark haired boy looked up wide eyed at Wes. He was kind of quiet, but he had a great voice. When he was actually singing, that is.

"Why aren't you singing?"

Austin suddenly looked sick. "I… I am," he mumbled. He glanced from Kurt who was at his right to Jeff who was at his left. His face, ears, and neck started to redden.

"No, you aren't. I have perfect pitch. I can hear when you aren't singing." Wes exhaled hard and cracked his neck. "Now, again and let's all sing? Please."

Austin gulped and nodded.

"Are you okay?" Wes heard Kurt ask Austin quietly. He was quite a bit taller than him and had to bend down to talk to him. The boy perked up immediately, but his blush remained.

"Yeah, fine." He smiled bashfully at Kurt who smiled back in a friendly way. "I just…"

"What?" Kurt nudged him playfully with his elbow. "What's wrong?"

Austin looked like he wanted to die. "I just am not as good of a singer as you and I didn't want you to hear me."

Kurt's eyebrows jumped to his hairline. "Oh! It's okay, sweetie. I didn't get this good without lots of practice. Don't worry, I'm not judging you."

Austin beamed back at Kurt. "Okay. I'll try!"

Kurt grinned at him once more and faced the front while Austin continued to stare at him adoringly. Wes didn't catch the narrow-eyed look Blaine gave Austin or the way Jeff playfully flicked Austin's ear.

"Ow! What was that for?" Austin said ruefully as he held his ear.

"Do you have a crush on Kurt?" Jeff asked quietly.

Austin paled and shook his head. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure Kurt couldn't hear him. "No!"

Jeff's grin widened. "You do!"

Austin finally relented when he saw Jeff would just get louder and louder. "Okay! Yes, I do. But I realize he's totally out of my league, okay? I have flirted with him a few times, but I don't think he likes me back."

In peripheral, Jeff saw Kurt's eyes widen in realization. It was likely that he had no idea until this very moment that Austin liked him. He couldn't see Kurt, so he thought his secret was safe. Poor thing didn't know about keen vampire hearing. Jeff patted Austin's back. He had no idea Kurt's heart was taken. Figuratively, of course.

"Yeah, I don't think Kurt's into you, buddy. I think he likes someone else." Unrequited love made him sad and Jeff didn't want Austin to be hanging on to something that would never happen.

Austin looked disappointed at this, but unsurprised. "Yeah, I figured. He always looks like he's thinking of someone else. I wonder who it is. He's always hanging around Bla—"

"Austin! Jeff! If it doesn't pertain to our song, stop talking about it!" Wes snapped.

Duly chastised, the boys got back into formation, but not before Jeff caught Blaine staring at the two of them. He wore a frown at first, but then it eased into a smile. That was never a good sign.

"Okay, from the top—"

"I have a question!" Blaine said with an upraised hand.

Wes questioned all his life choices up to this point. These boys were going to drive him crazy. "What is your question?" He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Shouldn't I move around a little during the song?" Blaine asked. "I mean, I'll still do the dance steps, but I think I should keep moving around so I don't look stiff."

"Just do whatever you want," Wes said tiredly. "Okay, let's begin. Jon?"

They began their song, Only You (And You Alone) by The Platters that they had tweaked a bit to be more fresh and updated. Everything was going well at the beginning, but as Blaine danced his way around the group, his focus seemed honed in on one person in particular: Kurt. To his credit, Kurt gave him one smile and then focused on the dance steps, but Blaine would not be deterred. He grabbed Kurt's hands and sang to him, heart eyes on full blast. Then, as if realizing himself, Blaine spun away and started singing to Nick. Nick gave him a confused look as Blaine moved on. But the damage was done. Wes watched Blaine for a few more moments and then focused on the others in the group. He caught David's eye and they exchanged a look. They would be having a little chat later with Blaine and Kurt.

After rehearsing the song enough times that they were all about to attempt mutiny, Wes deemed it perfect enough and excused them all. He was shuffling through sheet music, David murmuring at his side when Blaine sidled up to Austin, hands in pockets.

"Hey, pal. How's it going?"

Austin looked up from his phone at Blaine and gulped. "Oh, hi Blaine. I'm fine, how are you?"

"Oh, good. Good, good." Blaine glanced over to where Kurt was laughing with Jeff and Nick. "So I heard a rumor that you liked my bestie."

"Oh, uh, that?" Austin's eyes landed everywhere but Blaine and a blush creeped back to his face. "Maybe. As I was telling Jeff, I don't think I stand a chance."

Blaine smiled widely at the boy. Too widely, and then looked up over his shoulder at Kurt who had shifted his attention across the room at him. Jeff and Nick looked on, curious as well as to what Blaine was doing. He winked and Kurt's eyes thinned.

"Never say never, friend." He clapped Austin on his back, causing the boy to nearly fall over.

"But- But- Jeff was saying he thought Kurt liked someone else and I don't want to make things awkward."

Over Austin's shoulder, Kurt shook his head minutely. Blaine grabbed Austin's shoulders.

"I think you should ask him out! Have courage!"

Kurt slapped a hand to his face and Jeff clicked his tongue and stormed off. Nick threw his head back in disbelief. Blaine didn't care. He knew his plan was brilliant. Hide in plain sight, as it were.

"I don't know…" Austin loosened his tie.

"Come on! It will be a piece of cake! You just-"

"Blaine!" Kurt hissed. He motioned for Blaine to follow him into the hallway.

Way to be discreet, Kurt. He totally had a plan going here and Kurt was ruining it!

"Blaine, can we speak to you and Kurt for a moment?" Wes asked as the other Warblers were filing from the room.

"Of course," Blaine replied, giving Austin the opportunity to scurry away.

A few minutes later, Kurt and Blaine were seated in Wes' dorm room. Wes sat at his desk, David to his right while Jeff stood at the back of the room. Nick had stepped out to return a phone call.

Wes peered at the two, Kurt staring back at him cooly while Blaine fidgeted in his seat like he had ants in his pants. He stroked his chin.

"So how long has this been going on?" Wes indicated the two of them.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Kurt said at the same time Blaine exclaimed, "Ew!"

Kurt tossed his head over towards Blaine. "Ew? Really?"

Blaine shrugged in an exaggerated manner and ran a palm over his already slick hair. "Why would I try to set my dear FRIEND up with another guy if I was madly in love with him? Hmm? See, there are holes in your silly little theory, Wesley. I would have to be insane to do that."

"Or plain stupid," Kurt muttered.

Blaine glared over at him. "I could never date, Kurt. He's too mean. And his eyes are too blue. His voice is too soothing and his beauty too overwhelming. Makes me sick."

Kurt's lips twitched.

"Really, Blaine?" Jeff called from behind him. "Could you be more obvious? You suck at lying."

Wes held up a hand. "Blaine. Need I remind you how terrible of an idea this is?"

The future alpha sighed and turned to Kurt. "Well, the jig is up. I'm sorry, my dear. I tried." He grabbed Kurt's free hand that wasn't rubbing his face. "You don't know everything, Wes, so wipe that sour little look off your face."

"And what exactly am I missing here?" Wes asked in exasperation.

"That I love him!" Blaine stated matter-of-factly.

David clasped his hands to his face. "Awwww!"

"No!" Wes slammed his hands down to his desk. David jumped. "No, David! Not, aawww! Now Blaine, you can't do this!"

Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt's shoulders and pulled him to his chest, nearly dragging him from his chair. "I don't care what you or anyone else says! Kurt is mine!"

Just as Wes was about to make a scorching reply, Nick burst in with fire in his eyes and nearly knocked the door from its hinges. "Blaine Anderson! Did you tell your dad I was dating a vampire?"

Blaine cringed and stumbled from his chair. "I don't exactly recall--"

"I'm being audited now!" Nick roared as he lunged at Blaine, who ducked and tried to hide behind Kurt.

"Now, Nick!" He held up his hands and backed away from the murderous look in his friend's eye. "I panicked! Isn't your job to protect me, even if it's from the wrath of my own father?" He backed into a lamp that crashed to the floor as Nick swiped at him.

"You're going to WISH your dad had gotten ahold of you when I'm done with you," he growled darkly and then proceeded to chase Blaine around the room.

In the kerfuffle that followed, David exclaimed, "But Jeff isn't a vampire!" While Kurt and Jeff rolled their eyes at their boyfriends. Wes let his head drop to his desk. This was going to be a damn nightmare.

The next day, Kurt was laying on his stomach on his bed, his sock clad feet tangled in the air as he flipped through a magazine. Now that his secret was out he didn't layer quite as much, but he still bundled up like it was perpetually winter. Today he looked snugly and warm in a Dalton hoodie and sweatpants that looked way too expensive to be leisure wear. Blaine tried to do his homework, he really did, but Kurt just looked like he needed cuddles and Blaine was helpless for cuddles. Plus, he hadn't bothered Kurt in almost thirty minutes and that was too long.

Blaine quietly shut his text book and stood from Kurt's desk, eagerly tiptoeing over to the bed.

"Get back over there and study," Kurt said without even looking up from his magazine. "It's been fifteen minutes and you have a test later this week."

Blaine deflated. "It's been forty-five minutes!" he whimpered. "I need motivation to study!"

"Your motivation is not flunking," Kurt replied as he nodded appreciatively at a pair of boots he found on one page.

"I don't see why you get to sit there and look at magazines while I have to study," Blaine pouted.

"I'm two weeks ahead on homework." He smirked up at Blaine as he flipped another page. "Might as well make good use of your time when you don't sleep."

Blaine stared at Kurt for several long seconds and then looked away quickly.

"What?" Kurt asked suspiciously.

"Nothing," Blaine said quickly, but his cheeks were turning pink.

Kurt was about to ask Blaine to explain himself again when the boy jumped onto the bed and flopped on top of him. Kurt squeaked in protest as Blaine landed on him and then his squeak turned into a groan of pain when Blaine's knee went into Kurt's crotch and his elbow went into his face.

"God! Fuck, Blaine!" Kurt rolled onto his back, cupping himself and Blaine grinned sheepishly at him. "Sorry, baby. Tell me where it hurts and I'll kiss it."

He hadn't meant for it to sound dirty, but when they both realized what "kissing it" would entail, they looked away embarrassed and red.

Kurt cleared his throat. "So what were you thinking a minute ago when I said I did homework all night?"

"It's nothing," Blaine said quickly as he brushed some of Kurt's hair from his forehead with a finger. He was propped up on an elbow and staring down at his boyfriend fondly. "Just had a silly thought."

Kurt shivered at Blaine stroking his hair and looked up into his hazel eyes. "And what was your silly thought?"

Blaine dropped his head in resignation. "Look, my mind went to the gutter, okay? You said you do homework all night and I guess I thought what I would probably do all night if I didn't sleep and…"

Kurt went from pink to red and Blaine chuckled nervously.

"Sorry," he said as he ran a hand through his hair. "I'm not trying to make things awkward—"

"No, it's fine." Kurt made himself look right into Blaine's eyes instead of hiding his face like he wanted to. "I, well… I do that too. I'm still a teenager after all."

Blaine's eyes darkened and he licked his lips. "Will you show me sometime?"

Kurt swallowed and nodded, transfixed by the hungry look in Blaine's eyes. His finger was gently tracing lines across Kurt's face, like he was connecting the dots of his freckles. "Maybe I will." Kurt was going for flirtatious, but his voice shook.

Blaine closed the distance between them and Kurt eagerly kissed him back as their lips touched tenderly. Kurt cupped the back of Blaine's neck, pulling him closer. He tried to focus on not letting his fangs ruin everything this time. Blaine pulled back, just a whisper away from Kurt's lips, and looked into Kurt's eyes. They smiled against each other's lips and then Kurt jerked Blaine down on top of him with a playful grin. Blaine made a noise of surprise into Kurt's mouth, but went willingly and deepened the kiss further. Kurt gasped into his mouth as he tentatively swiped his tongue across Kurt's bottom lip. He sucked Blaine's tongue into his mouth, making Blaine moan. Kurt explored Blaine's mouth eagerly and moved his lips more fervently. Blaine let Kurt take control, just kissing him back and enjoying all the attention Kurt was giving to him. He sucked in a deep breath, inhaling Kurt's scent that was his most favorite scent in the world. He wanted to stay in this moment forever, drowning in Kurt's lips.

Soon Kurt's hands were moving, one tangling into Blaine's hair and breaking the gel while the other slid down his neck and stroked his collar bone. Then Kurt fisted his shirt collar and pulled him impossibly closer, like he was trying to absorb Blaine into his own body. Blaine continued to hold himself up with one arm and let his other hand tentatively explore Kurt. He started at Kurt's neck, stroking his fingers against the soft skin and running down towards Kurt's chest. The boy shuddered beneath his touch and stretched his neck out in encouragement. Blaine took the opportunity to move from Kurt's lips to his neck.

"Yes, Blaine. That feels so good," Kurt whispered as Blaine continued to attack Kurt's neck. Just hearing how wrecked Kurt sounded made Blaine hum happily into Kurt's neck and then shoulder. He was making Kurt sound like that and it was so freaking hot. He had never been so excited in all his life and although he knew they should slow down or this might end in embarrassment, he ignored his erection in favor of making Kurt feel good.

A cool hand slipped under his shirt and began to rake down his back. Blaine cried out and sat up. They panted together, Kurt giving Blaine a challenging smile and he crashed his lips into Kurt's once again. They fought for dominance this time, both devouring each other's mouths. Kurt's hand under his shirt continued to touch all the skin it could reach and soon his other hand joined in. Blaine almost lost it right there, but he moved his hips up into the air where he couldn't get friction. Kurt tried to pull him down, but Blaine wouldn't budge until one of Kurt's hands slipped from under his shirt to his ass and Blaine snapped. He bucked his hips into Kurt's, finding him just as hard as he was. Kurt groaned with relief and met his thrusts sloppily, the fingers of one hand buried in Blaine's shirt and the the other still gripping his ass. With another squeeze, Blaine bit Kurt's lip causing him to make a noise of pleasure into Blaine's mouth.

It was probably the loudest sound Kurt had made up to this point which is probably why Jeff kicked the door down.

The boys jumped apart like they had been electrocuted, hair messy and cheeks flushed.

"What's wrong!? Is everything oka—" Jeff took in the scene and noted how both boys were breathing heavily on the bed and seemed to be trying to hide their laps with pillows. "Oh! Oh shit! Uh, sorry!" Jeff said to the ceiling and tried to bite his lip to keep from smiling.

"Get the hell out, Jeff!" Blaine yelled as he threw a pillow at the blond.

Jeff hid a giggle behind a cough and scrambled out, dodging another pillow. "Sure, sure. Thought somebody was killing one of you, but I see everything is just fine! Remember good guys finish last, Blaine!"

"Get OUT!"

The door closed and Blaine picked up his pillow before screaming into it. Having regained some of his composure, Kurt chuckled and stroked Blaine's tangled hair.

"He does know that's not what that expression means right? I'm sorry, sweetie. We probably needed to calm down anyway."

Blaine slumped back against his headboard and growled. "Yeah, I guess. I still want to strangle him though."

He finally blinked up at Kurt and caught his smile. They both burst into laughter and Kurt leaned over to kiss Blaine much more chastely on the lips.

"Ow!" He jerked back when their lips touched.

"What's wrong?" Blaine asked, worried.

"Nothing, just a little sore." Kurt blushed as he gingerly touched his bottom lip. Blaine remembered biting it and now felt bad.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! Do you want ice? I promise I didn't do it in retaliation!"

Kurt's eyes danced as he dropped his hand to his lap. "No, I'm fine. Don't forget I have injured myself multiple times with my own fangs. I uh," Kurt looked away shyly. "I kind of liked it anyway."

All words fled Blaine's brain and he was considering jumping on Kurt again when someone knocked on his door and then came in.

"Hello boys!" Wes greeted them. "Studying is going well I see."

For the millionth time that week, Blaine wished he could whisk Kurt away and escape to an island where no annoying schoolmates could bother them.

"Kind of busy at the moment, Wes. Feel free to come back in an hour."

"Afraid I can't do that." Wes eyed the pillows strewn around the room as David popped in.

"Hey, Kurt!" He said with a bright smile as he flicked through screens on his tablet.

"Hi, David."

"If you guys want to borrow my study guide for history, you are more than welcome to. I made it myself!" He puffed his chest out and Kurt had to smile.

"I might have to check that out."

"Blaine, get up and dressed," Wes ordered, clearly not amused by Kurt and David's chat.

Blaine waved him away. "I'm studying." He closed his eyes and folded his arms behind his head.

He jerked up when Kurt poked him in the armpit. "This is why your Chemistry grade sucks."

"My grade sucks because it's hard and Mr. Jamison is a tyrant!" Blaine retorted while protecting his armpits.

"Blaine!" Wes said impatiently. "You have a meeting with a suitor. It was a last minute thing, so I apologize that it's cutting into your--" he did bunny quotes, "--study time, but you need to be up and ready in twenty minutes."

Blaine frowned at Wes' tone that didn't sound sorry at all, but then he looked over at Kurt and his heart broke. Kurt was hugging himself and looking sadly down at his lap.

"Kurt? Are you okay?" He put a hand on Kurt's shoulder.

Kurt shrugged out of his grasp. "How can I be okay when you're going out on a date with someone who isn't me? How do you think that makes me feel?"

"Kurt…" Blaine felt sick looking at his unhappy boyfriend. Wes huffed and Blaine glared at him. "Can you give us a second, please?"

Wes sucked his teeth in annoyance and consulted his watch. "You have eighteen minutes."

When the door shut behind Wes, Blaine scooted up to Kurt on the bed. Although he wanted nothing more than to gather him in his arms, Blaine folded his hands into his lap.

"Kurt. Baby, will you please look at me?"

After a few stubborn seconds, Kurt lifted his head. Tears were gathered in his eyes and his lip trembled.

"Oh, Kurt." Blaine took Kurt's chin in his hand so they were eye to eye. "Listen, you are the only one I want to be with and the entire time I am gone, I'll be thinking of only you. I'll be counting the minutes until I'm with you again. You know how I know? Because that's what's happened with every other guy I've been with since the moment I met you. It's only you, Kurt. It's always been only you."

Kurt sniffed at the sweet words and kissed him. "I still hate it."

"Me too." Blaine closed his eyes and knocked his forehead into Kurt's. "But I don't really have a choice until I figure out how to explain this to my dad."

With a shuddering sigh, Kurt nodded against Blaine's head and kissed his cheek. "I know. I'll see you tomorrow for our date. I'm going with Elliott tonight, remember?"

Blaine nodded and stood, reluctantly fixing his appearance. He wasn't changing into something nicer though. Screw that. Wes could give him the Montgomery Look of Shame all he wanted.

"Just be careful, okay?"

"I will."

Wes knocked on Blaine's open door. "It's time."

"Yeah, yeah." Blaine bent and kissed Kurt's cheek and lips one more time. "Only you," he whispered before winking and heading out the door to find Jeff and Nick.

Kurt sighed and began to put his room to rights, trying to ignore Wes still standing in his doorway.

"Can I speak with you for a moment?" Wes asked.

Kurt stood from where he was picking up a pillow off the floor that Blaine had thrown at Jeff. "Sure."

"I know you don't like me—"

"It's not that I don't like you," Kurt corrected with a tired sigh as he tossed the pillow on his bed. "In fact, I feel like it's the opposite. You seem to not like Blaine being with me."

"Kurt, it has nothing to do with you. You're a nice guy. But this that you're doing with Blaine? It's not right."

Kurt's eyes flashed and he crossed his arms. "Why? Because I'm a vampire or because I'm a nobody?"

"Both." Wes shrugged. Kurt stepped back as if struck. "Listen, it's not personal. Blaine has a duty to his people and he's been groomed for this his entire life. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the luxury of getting to date on a whim. He needs to make a smart decision that will benefit our entire pack. The best thing you can do for him is to step aside."

Kurt smiled. "Well, that sounds so simple. Just break up with him and walk away. That won't end poorly."

"I know it would be hard, but it is the right thing—"

"What's the right thing for Blaine? You keep acting like we are just screwing around, but we love each other!" Kurt stepped closer to Wes, his shoulders set. "You are all so busy being concerned about the pack that you forget that what might be best for the pack is for their alpha to be happy!"

Wes shook his head. "I understand what you're saying Kurt, but it's not how things are done. If you were human, that would be one thing, but the pack would never accept you. I'm just asking for you to think about things. That's all."

With that, he gave a strained smile and turned to walk out.

Kurt slumped to his bed and put his head in his hands. His anger bled away and an uneasy feeling took its place. He was frustrated with Wes and the general mindset of the pack, but he wondered if maybe he had a point. Did he and Blaine even have a future? Would it be best for the both of them to end things now before they got too invested? He was already in so deep. He hadn't been able to think of anyone else in a romantic way since he had met Blaine. Dragging his hands down his face, Kurt decided he wouldn't think about it anymore tonight. He was going to a blood bar for the first time with Elliott and he was a little nervous, so he put everything else going on with werewolves out of his mind. Otherwise he would drive himself crazy.
