A very Happy Timeday to a special little boy!
A very special day for a little bundle of joy!
A very special day for the boy in lime green!
Now you're sixteen…
Years old so we wish you a Happy Timeday, Timeco!
A group of people in suits relating to time in their specific colors (blue, pink, red, and purple) gathered around the green suit-wearing birthday boy. While some of them were excited, the one in blue was all but excited. Usually, on birthdays, or timedays, all of the timewalker would be celebrating the day since the birth of a new time child. But for the blue one, it's complicated.
"Clockware… This is supposed to be the happiest day of a timewalker's life. Why aren't you celebrating?", Zulu, a pink suit-wearing timewalker, notices Clockware, a blue suit-wearing timewalker, showing a frown as Timeco, a lime green suit-wearing timewalker, blows the fire out of the candle.
"I do not get why are we celebrating each other's timedays when we already predicted what presents we'll be getting.", disinterestedly said Clockware, "Like those creatures, IMS gave us on our timedays?"
Clockware pointed to a cage with different types of creatures from different planets and universes. "So? At least they're better than not having the gods or even Miss Creation around on our Timedays.", said Equinox, eating a slice of cake that Zulu cut out, "I don't get why you're always so negative every timeday."
"Besides Clockware, this is Timeco's first timeday since his… 14th birthday… Remember the timephoon?"
Zulu mentioned the timephoon brought goosebumps towards Clockware, remembering how Timeco's 14th timeday was delayed because of the timeline and the universe collapsing. "That was a long time ago, Zulu.", Clockware reassures her, "Timeco has gotten over it and we already made it up to him."
"Yeah right. Not like he cried himself to sleep that night…", scoffed Ephemerila, eating her slice of cake.
Timeco, jabbing his cake, was optimistic about his timeday finally going his way after his 14th birthday where he had to miss out on his special day. The boy in the green suit hardly remembers a time when all of the gods of the universe, or even Miss Creation, had gathered around for his or the other timewalkers on their timeday. It hurts him to see how only his siblings, cousins, and IMS had shown up to his timeday party. However, Timeco tries his best to stay positive and be grateful for what life gives him, even if it's the cause of Miss Creation and her power.
"Hey, Zulu? When are the gods coming? It's been an hour and a half", Timeco asked one of his siblings.
Zulu puts down the knife, "Oh, just a few more minutes…" She checks the time, "or longer…"
Timeco sighs as he gets up from the timeday chair, "Guys, I understand you're just making it up from my last 2 timedays, but I really don't mind the gods not coming or IMS giving me another animal. I'm just glad that you guys came to my timeday and celebrated together."
"As strangers who live in the same house?" asked Ephemerila, before being nudged by the back by Equinox, "What?"
"As a family…"
Most of his siblings and cousins were fascinated by Timeco's words, while Clockware just scowled at what Timeco said. A loud knock on the gates to the gods and goddesses' rooms alerted the timewalkers. "Finally, they're all here.", said Zulu as she pulled one of the levers, lowering the gates, only showing rose smoke
"Timewalkers and pets from different plants and universes, make way for Miss Creation, the goddess of creation…"
…
…
…
…
Only to reveal just the Infinite Magic Sentinel with a present on their hands.
"Who will NOT be joining us at the time being."
"WAIT WHAT?/You gotta be kidding me./So I made this welcome back banner for nothing?!", the timewalker cousins and siblings, except Timeco, shouted at IMS.
"She's busy… As usual, right?", Timeco was aware of how busy Miss Creation is, having to take care of the universe and her 'children'. IMS nodded as they gave Timeco the present.
"My apologies that Miss Creation or the gods couldn't come. You know how busy they are."
"I know. But it's been so long since they come over for our timedays…", said Timeco, "Not to mention my 14th timeday…"
Zulu walked over to his side with her hands on her waist, "Timeco, we already told you…"
"I know. None of us know what caused the timephoon, nor the god of time…"
IMS turns to Timeco as he opened the present. "That reminded me. I have a special gift for you.", said Present.
"Another creature?", predicted Clockware disappointingly.
"No," said IMS, rolling their eyes, "Even better.."
In the hallways of the universe stations, IMS and the other timewalkers took Timeco to a special room with a clock on the door. Pressing the button and opening the door, the room is filled with machines and a screen. Timeco was the first to enter the room. The green-suit timewalker was surprised by the theme and decoration of the room.
There were banners of the symbols of the gods, windows of the gods except for one with a hole, missing a face, and a control panel where the user will observe alternative timelines and the main timeline, or universe.
"Well, it's more of Miss Creation's present to me to you but, you get the idea.", said IMS, entering the room.
"Honestly, I… I'm really surprised of how well she planned all of this for me…", mentioned Timeco, unable to find the right words to say.
Timeco's cousins and siblings were also appalled by Timeco's timeday gift from Miss Creation. Although they're shown to be shocked and amazed by what Miss Creation gave him, one of them is silent with envy, until he speaks up. "Oh, so we get pets from different universes, but he gets the observation room?", groaned Clockware.
"Now Clockware, we talked about this before. We should be grateful for what we have and what we don't have… Now, all of you get back to your stations… Timeco and I need to do a little something."
IMS ordered all of the timewalkers, making them leave the room. "So, Timeco… Since you're now gonna be in charge of the observation room and guardian of time, there are some responsibilities you need to learn from."
"Responsibility?", Timeco was confused by what IMS was saying.
"Well, you know how the time paradox works, right?", asked IMS.
"Yes. Why?"
IMS dwindles their fingers as they explain, "Well, because of how Miss Creation wants to keep her universe in order, the timelines mustn't be manipulated in any sort of way. If the timeline ends up being altered or the watcher tries to interact with anyone in that universe in any way, there will be harsh consequences. Promise me and Miss Creation that you will stay away from those timelines. We cannot let this happen to this universe.
"I'll do my best, IMS. Anything for Miss Creation…"
IMS nodded as she left the room, leaving Timeco all alone. Timeco looked around the room in awe. Never had he ever had a room like this before. The other timewalkers' rooms were so unique and had everything they ever wanted, while Timeco's bedroom was just a box of plushies and a bed. The youngest timewalker went over to sit down on the chair, starting his first-ever shift in the observation room.
There were so many timelines he could choose from but he couldn't figure out what to pick. Looking around, he then noticed what to observe first. A timeline that would start his new career. Timeco quickly grabs a notebook and a pen. He opens the book and writes something on it. He stops as he looks up to the screen.
"Alright, timeline… Here we go…"
Timeco presses a button on the control panel, all set for the ride of his life.
