Chapter 37: Golden Moment

"You're all back!"

I wheezed as Cooking Cat enveloped us in a very tight hug.

"I was so worried about you! What are you all wearing!? Are you hungry!? Don't ever do this to me again! I missed you all so much!" The cat wailed.

"There, there, CC." Hat said as she pet her head like the cat she was.

"Thanks, Leviathan!" Knit waved to said serpent, who screeched happily in response after bringing us back up to the ship. Still no luck with the teleporter.

"You're finally back!" Boss declared as he came riding in on Roombi. "I mean, obviously it was bound to happen sooner or later."

"Awww, did you miss us, Boss?" Hat asked as she picked him up and poked his jar like a goldfish bowl.

"Ha!" He laughed, but didn't say anything more then that, just paused, and his eyes drifted away in the vat of goo.

"You're actually a big old softie, aren't you?" Hat teased.

"Oh, be quiet." He grumbled.

"Yeah, she has that effect on people." I spoke from experience.

Meanwhile the alive cleaning device beneath us beeped frantically.

"Missed you too, Roombi!" Hat pet the device like a dog.

"I'm gonna prepare a big welcome home dinner for everybody!" CC cheered. "So, could you please change back into your normal clothes?"

"Well, since you were so subtle about it, sure." I shrugged.

"Aw, I think they look cool." Hat complained but obliged.

A few minutes later we had removed all the Nyakuza Flairs, putting everything back to normal. I mean, there was a reason we wore these things most of the time. They were comfy.

"I honestly didn't know how to celebrate." CC told us as she led us into the kitchen. "So, I just decided to make a bit of…well, everything!

"Holy space!" Bow gasped as we entered. CC wasn't kidding. There were sandwiches, pasta, seafood, meat, fruit and veg, soups and curries, cheese and biscuits, puddings, ice cream, chocolate and cake.

'Well, now I can see how she cooked for the entire mafia.' I thought.

So, we sat down and ate our fill. Hat leapt for the sweets right away, but I had to stop her and make her eat mains first. She kept away from all the vegetables though. Bow ate a lot more fruit then I was expecting her to and Knit ate a lot, except for the soups, saying they would stain her. CC ate mostly seafood and I ate all the breads, pasta, and had to eat most of the veg.

"I missed this." Hat beamed happily.

"It was really lonely eating without you the first night." Knit mumbled.

"Who knew peace and quiet could feel so disturbing?" Boss mused to himself.

"You guys were really that worried?" I questioned.

"Of course!" CC cried as if it was obvious, then paused, then folded her arms. "I wonder if you two get it…"

"Get what?" I asked, catching Hat's attention.

"How much you two have impacted our lives." CC said. "You show up on our planet one day with all these powerful Time Pieces falling from the sky, then run around collecting them. One minute you're beating things up, next minute you're helping people, and vice-versa. It's enough to give some folks whiplash. But you've really made an impact on our lives, on every big name on this planet at this point. Even that Snatcher, I can tell."

"But now you're getting close to collecting all your Time Pieces." Boss spoke up, which made CC sigh. "And after that, you'll be leaving."

"That's right." I nodded.

"Are you sad about that?" Bow asked.

"'Course we are." CC said, then glanced at Boss who was about to speak, silencing him. "You've done so many things that have shaken up peoples perspectives and ideas…usually by beating the caviar outta them-" Hat snorted at that. "And it's sparked a change."

'Huh. I never really thought about it like that.' I thought.

"That's good." We all looked at Hat as she miraculously stopped eating. "We didn't really come to this planet to make friends or enemies, we came to get our Time Pieces back, and we did what we had to do to accomplish that. Everybody on this planet is free to see us how they like; friends, pests or scaaaary muddy aaaaaalieeeeeens." That last one was a bit specific.

"At this point, we've learned not to make a conscious effort to stop for too long, since we're just gonna be moving on anyway." She looked at me. "But that doesn't really matter to you guys, huh? What matters is how you see us. And if we've done something huge for you…well, we were just running and jumping around! So, good for you!"

Her smile softened from a cheerful one into a happy one. "I'm glad we were forced to stop on this one, though. It really has been great meeting you all."

Everyone sat in comfortable silence for a moment.

"That was a good Captain speech, Hat." I nodded. "It would have been better if you didn't have chocolate all around your face, though."

"What!? Tie, why didn't you tell me!?"

"Don't wipe it on your sleeve! I'll have to wash that!"

That was enough to get everyone else present laughing too.

Yeah, I'm glad this was the one, too.

"Oh! That's right!" CC clapped her hands. "I've got something for you two! It's a gift from all of us! Bow and Knit included."

"Really!?" Hat beamed.

"Sorry we kept it a secret whilst in Nyakuza, but it's a surprise." Bow smiled.

"Here you go." CC handed us two familiar objects.

"Flairs?" I looked at the capsules.

"A little thank you present from everyone. Knit helped out a lot with her magic." CC beamed.

"Heh, yeah…" Said girl fiddled with her hair nervously.

"Go on then! Open them!" Boss insisted.

Me and Hat looked at each other, then opened them and became enveloped in smoke. And when it cleared-

"My hat!" She took off her namesake and marvelled at it. It now had a striped design with the yellow sash tied into a ribbon, as well as a red rose on it.

I took off my tie and looked at it too. Instead of a striped pattern it now had a checkered pattern which alternated between bright pink and silver, and where the smiley face I had drawn on once was, now there was a golden brooch in the shape of a lollipop.

"We know how much you two like hoarding everything with your grubby little hands, so we made something you'd like." Boss explained in his own gruff way.

"What he means is, we hope you like them." CC said.

"Awwwww, you guys!" Hat happily hatted herself. "I love it! Thank you!"

"Yeah. Thank you, everyone." I smiled as I put it back on. After all, I didn't need the smiley face anymore.

"Now then, let's finish up." CC clapped her hands as we resumed eating.

"It's different."

I stared around at where I was. The ground was sparkling a whitish gold and emanating light. Above me appeared to be a light blue, cloudless sky, which was filled with distant stars, as well as comets constantly soaring past, each a different colour then the last.

"This place is different then what I remember of a white void." I thought aloud.

"Here you are!"

I flinched and turned to see a familiar face appear.

"Sweetie." I addressed the minion.

"So this is your projection whilst you're asleep, huh?" Sweetie said as she ran around me, looking me over. "A pretty impressive form, for being just a subconscious placeholder."

"Um, thank you?" I mumbled. "Sweetie, how are you here?"

"Oh! This is a spot between time and space." She explained. "One of many, in fact. See all those things up there? The stars are different dimensions, and the comets are timelines progressing."

"So, this is what exists outside time and space?" I questioned.

"Actually, what mostly exists is a state of pre-big bang." She shrugged. "So you either get a white or black void of nothingness. But because of that, you can shape a little piece however you want, with enough willpower."

"Since no universal laws have been established yet." I nodded. "So then, this is-?"

"Yep! It's my own little slice of space!" She said as she plopped herself down and wiggled her feet like a child. "That's how I knew you turned up here! Or rather, your dream self turned up here."

'So that white void from before, was also an area outside time and space?' I thought.

"It's definitely fortunate though! Because I have a message for you!" Sweetie said.

"A message?" I echoed.

"Yeah! See, with all the Time Piece you and your Hat have gathered, plus the ones that your Moustache and Voice have, there's still one more Time Piece up for grabs!" She declared. "The thing is...it WAS in Dead Bird Studios, but with all of the dimensional instability it...kinda...slipped into a different dimension."

"What!?" I yelled.

"But don't worry! I'm here to help you two get it back!" Sweetie cried. "Listen, the universe it fell into is one where Hat is ages away from where it landed! You two can go and grab it before anything bad happens!"

"What about Voice and Moustache?"

"Voice is dimension hopping on their own." Sweetie said. "I don't know what their up to, but without them, Moustache is unable to reach this last one."

"Mmm." I hummed. "And how exactly are you going to help us?"

"Just leave that to me!" She beamed.

"I just realised. With all this knowledge and ability to travel between time and space, you're pretty scary, aren't you?" I questioned.

"Awww, thank you!" She literally squeaked like a squeaky toy. "Alright, Mr. Space! Big day tomorrow, so you've got to get to waking up!"

"Huh?" I gasped. "Wait, I should use this moment to check up on Julia or-"

"Nope!" She began pushing me with a surprising amount of force, considering she had to use her head. "They're all fine! Yep! Definitely fine! Nothing to worry about AT ALL!"

"You're a terrible liar." I groaned.

"And sometimes people need to sort out their problems with their immediate loved ones. And not from someone from another dimension." That stung a bit, but ho-hum. "Off you pop!" She headbutted me hard in the back.

"You biscuit!" I cursed as I fell into the blinding light of the ground.

"Now that I think about it, we're gonna need to make you your own room, Knit." I thought aloud as we headed down.

"Or I could keep living in the attic with you." She spoke hopefully, holding my hand.

"Everybody needs their own room, Knit." I told her.

"It's so wonderful to see you all this morning." CC happily said. "I made pancakes for breakfast to celebrate!"

As we began walking, I felt Hat poke my shoulder, and I knew it was her because she poked me in a very specific way, like pushing a button, so I leaned towards her so she could whisper: "Did you have a Sweetie dream last night?"

"She visited you, too?" I questioned.

"So we did!" She nodded. "She told me that since I had such control over time, she could invite me into that weird space."

"I GUESS that figures." I said as we walked down the kitchen hallway.

"How do you think she's gonna help us get that last Time Piece?"

"We'll just have to wait and see."

As all of us finished eating breakfast, Boss called from the room: "Uhhhh, is this for either of you two?"

We walked back into the main room to see a little crack sparking in the air.

"Sweetie." Me and Hat simultaneously said.

"Huh?" Bow questioned.

"Basically, one more Time Piece is left, but it fell into another dimension." I told her. "This is a portal to it." I put my Paradox Pendant on.

"The very last one?" CC asked, almost sadly.

"Apart from the ones Moustache and Voice have, yeah." Hat nodded.

"Stand back, all." I warned, before I created a portal where the crack was, only the star-shaped portal began warping and twisting around violently. "That's...not very stable."

"Let me help." Hat said as she put on her Time-Stop Hat. "Sweetie told me that this dimensions me is way far off from it. That must mean it's on a different timeline, so it's my TIME to shine. Eh? Ehhhhhh?"

"No." I denied.

"I'll make you laugh one of these days." She grumbled before activating her abilities. The portal instantly gained a dark green tint, before finally stabilising into a proper portal.

"Alright, this must be it." I nodded.

"And this time I get to come along too." She smirked. "No worries this time!"

"I know what you're doing."

"Okay, I'll stop."

"I'm coming too!" Knit instantly clung to my back.

"Yeah! No way I'm gonna miss travelling to a different dimension." Bow agreed.

"At this point we're a package deal, huh?" Hat giggled. "But since this could be dangerous, seeing as its uncharted territory, we're sticking together! There's only one Time Piece after all!"

"The final one, huh?" Boss chuckled. "Finally, salvation is in sight."

"Be caref-" CC actually caught herself. "Well, at this point, I know that's not possible with you all. So, do your best."

"No problem! We'll be back in time for lunch! Promise this time!" Hat said. "Ready, Tie?"

"Hey, this isn't my first rodeo with this." I reminded her. "You ready?"

"When am I not?" She laughed, before we all jumped in.

And immediately fell face down into the ground.

"That was...quick." Bow mumbled.

"Ewww I got sand in my mouth!" Hat complained a she blew a raspberry.

'Sand?' I picked myself up and brushed myself down, before looking out across a vast, golden landscape with several small settlements dotted over it. 'This is-'

"Sand and Sails." Hat spoke aloud.

"Huh? Do you know this place, Hat?" Bow asked.

"Nope. Never been here before." She denied. "But the name just came to me."

"Heyyyyy thereeeeeee!"

We all stopped as Sweetie came bounding over to us.

"You must be Sweetie." Bow figured as the little minion stopped in front of us.

"Why does she look like a Minion?" Knit whispered to me.

"Honestly? Don't really know." I admitted.

"Mm-hm! Glad to see you all came through okay." Sweetie nodded. "Didn't expect Bow and...Knit, was it? But oh well, the more the merrier!" Knit's grip on me tightened slightly.

"So where's the last Time Piece?" I questioned.

"It's further out into the desert." Sweetie gestured with her head. "I could've dropped you off right there. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrr we could get there the fun way."

"As Captain I demand we go the fun way!" Hat declared.

"Oh, you KNOW how to get her riled up, don't you?" I questioned.

"Of course~." She sang. "Come on! We need to go to that town down there!" She led the way as we followed after her, sliding down the sand dunes.

The little town we walked into was a simple desert one filled with stone buildings and cloth covers shading little stalls from the sun. As if to clarify, we passed a sign that read; 'Sails that are Sandy'. Smart-aleck sign.

"Hey look! Nomads!" Knit pointed, and sure enough, there were several of the little guys from Alpine Skylines walking around.

"What are they doing here?" Bow wondered.

"They live here." Hat stated matter-of-factly. "I mean...yeah, that does sound right. Right?"

"Alright!" Sweetie said. "If we're gonna go, we need two things; water flasks and transportation. Over this way to flasks." She led us over to a well, and I pulled on the rope to pull up several water flasks. "It'll be a short trip, but better to be safe then sorry."

"Fair enough I guess." Yeah, we could survive being burnt, electrified, poisoned and all other manner of things, but dehydration was a killer.

"And secondly, our mode of transport. Thisaway." We followed her once again towards a much larger building, as the sounds of banging and tinkering came from within. We looked in to see a man tinkering with something very familiar.

"Tie, isn't that-?" Hat began.

"The Scrapion? Yeah." I whispered back.

"Uh-huh, don't mention that." Sweetie whispered before stepping in. "Hello there!"

"The man turned to us. He was an older gentlemen in a red vest with rugged brown boots and gloves, with a brown cap on that had a pair of goggles, as well as a moustache, and a lot of dirt on his face.

"Oh, hello there!" He fully turned to us. "Sorry about that, just fixing up a uh...machine of mine after a bad run. The name's-"

"Thor." Hat stated.

"That's right! You've heard of me? Didn't realise I became famous." He chuckled sheepishly at that. "A-Anyway! Whaddya looking for? Hookshots? Pogosticks?"

"We'd like to rent some Sand Mobiles, please." Sweetie said, producing a bag of Pons from beneath her cloak.

"Ah, travelling across the desert are we? Good luck to you, then." Thor nodded as he took the bag and checked inside. "Looks good to me. Right then, you all take care of yourselves, you hear? I'm gonna get back to fixing this little beauty." He then returned to his work.

"Thank you" Sweetie said as we all began exiting the building.

"Hat?" I asked as she tood there, staring at him. "You okay?"

"Uh, yeah." She nodded after a second, before following us.

Sweetie led us round the back where several identical machines were resting. They appeared to be vehicles with large, furled sails that ran on wheels.

"Okay! I've got it all figured out. Two of you will take one, two of you will take another, and I'll take one!" She cheered.

"One for yourself, huh?" I muttered.

"I call driving!" Hat said as she immediately sat in one.

"I'm going with Tie!" Knit insisted.

"Then I guess I'm going with Hat." Bow said as she sat behind her, whilst I sat in one. It was surprisingly comfy.

"Okay, on the count of three, we all unfurl our sails." Sweetie said, as I managed to find the rope tying it up.

"1...2...3!"

We all unfurled our sails at the same time, and the wind instantly caught it and made the machines all lurch forward across the sands at a fast pace. After getting my bearings I gripped the handle and gave it an experimental turn left and right just to check it worked. It did.

"Alright! We're heading over this way!" Sweetie called to us, and I wondered how she was driving with no hands.

"We'll race you guys!" Bow called to us.

"Yeah!" Knit cheered. Guess we were.

As we 'drove' across the golden sand, we passed several other towns with Nomads, as well as by a giant sandworm carrying clothes, who seemed too familiar to the Leviathan.

"We're falling behind, Tie!" Knit said. "Hold on, I'll help!" She suddenly clung to the mast and reknitted herself into an extra sail, that immediately caught the wind.

"Wait, Knit!? WOAH!" With the extra sail, we got a huge burst of speed that sent us hurtling forward and past the other two cars.

"Hey! No fair!" Bow complained.

"Wheeeeeeeeee!" Knit cheered

"Uh, Knit? We're approaching a big dune!" I pointed forward.

"Um, I can't exactly slow down." She admitted, just before we were launched over it.

We both cried out as we flew through the air for a good few seconds before we, by some miracle, managed to landed safely, albeit with a large thudding crash and us screeching to a halt.

"Let's stop for a moment." I said.

"Okay." Knit agreed.

We all got out and sat by a nearby oasis, taking drinks from our water flasks.

"The desert sure is hot." Bow breathed. "And big. And empty."

"Isn't it lucky you've got me by your side to navigate?" Sweetie sang as she sipped.

I however, paused as I noticed Hat was staring off into the distance, looking awfully wistful. And this was Hat.

"What's the matter, captain?" I asked.

"This all...feels familiar." She spoke softly. "This place...the people...driving the Sand Mobile, drinking this water. I know I've never done any of it before, but it feels like I have."

'That feeling...' I thought.

"That means you very well may have done it before." Sweetie nodded.

"Whaddya mean?" Bow asked.

"This place, Sand N' Sails, existed in many dimensions once ago." Sweetie said. "But most of them were erased from time."

"Erased from time!?" Bow cried, though us other three were surprisingly okay with it. Probably because we were familiar with it at this point.

"Like with dad?" Knit questioned.

"Yeah. Whether it was some higher power, a temporal mishap or something else; poof! It never existed." The Minion sighed. "Since you have such an affinity with time itself Hat, a part of you may be subconsciously recalling an erased timeline where you DID journey to this place and did all the things you're doing now."

"That's a lot to take in." Bow admitted.

"So I could've once been doing all this?" Hat questioned. "And this place, all this stuff, all the people...all gone?"

"All gone. But remnants remain, like the Nomads in Alpine Skyline." Sweetie explained.

"But so much didn't." Hat mumbled sadly.

As they talked, my mind wandered back to my talk with Voice in that subspace in the bell, and a sense of guilt led me to speak up:

"I knew about that." Everyone turned to look at me. "I knew that places and people had been erased from time. Voice told me before we fought."

"Really?" Knit gasped.

"But there's more." I sighed. "Voice told me, that all the people that were erased, their erasure was used to create me. That all of their mistakes were lessons used to build me into existence."

"That's crazy!" Bow cried.

"Actually, it's very possible." Sweetie nodded. "Even some of the most powerful beings in our multiverse don't know how all this stuff works. It's very possible the reason Tie exists was because of all the other things being erased from time."

"So, I suppose it's my fault, in a sense." I mumbled.

We were quiet for a moment.

"Oh! Well that's okay, then." Hat casually said as she laid down on the sand with a smile on her face.

"What?" All four of us turned to her.

"The fact you might've been made from all the other stuff being erased. That's okay then." She said as she began making a sand angel.

"Hat, that's NOT okay!" I gasped. "You could have had all of these experiences that have just been erased completely! And if there's a chance that it's all gone just to make me-"

"But it's not." She stated, sitting up. "Sweetie said it herself. This place, and all the people who are also gone, have been erased in most other dimensions, right?"

"That's right." Sweetie confirmed.

"Maybe they would've all been erased anyway, even if you weren't the result of it." She said. "It's too many 'ifs', so no sense in worrying about it, and focusing on what we do know." She smiled. "And what I do know, is that I'm happy you're my partner, and I couldn't imagine things without you. After everything we've been through, if I had to choose between all this and you, isn't it obvious?"

"But how do you know?" I asked. "How do you know that the things you've lost are better then me?"

"I don't know." She shrugged. "But I wouldn't give up you for it. no way, no how."

"I just don't think, that if that IS the case, I'm not worth so much loss." I sighed.

Hat shuffled over to me in the sand, then lightly bonked me on the head with her umbrella.

"Don't dwell on that stuff." She lightly scolded. "I'm happy with you, and you're happy with me. That's enough, isn't it?"

"I'm happy with you too!" Knit cried as she hugged my arm.

"Yeah, me too." Bow nodded slowly, before smiling. "Even if it took a while."

'I still can't honestly believe that. That I'm better then all of this.' I admitted in my head. 'But hey, if they can be happily selfish, that's good enough for me.'

"Thank you." I nodded.

Moustache swung her legs back on forth on the comfy chair she and Voice had pilfered from Nyakuza Metro. She absentmindedly looked around. The little lonely cave she would hide in now actually seemed like a proper home, with furniture, a bed, carpet and a little mock fireplace which the few Time Pieces they had sat next to. It had come a long way.

'It's all thanks to Voice.' She couldn't help but think. 'I mean, obviously I could've gotten this stuff on my own, but...I think it feels so cosy because they've been with me.'

She looked down at the ground. 'This is fun. Just being together is fun. Collecting Time Pieces, beating up bad guys, going on holidays, it's all fun.'

She then hugged her legs like a scared child. 'So why do I get this horrible feeling deep down? This feeling like...like something bad is gonna happen?'

'Is it...am I doing something wrong? Am I feeling guilty? Is something terrible going to happen because of me? I...I...'

Moustache slumped down. 'It feels so lonely now. Being all alone. I used to be okay with it. So, I can be okay with it again, right? Right?'

At that moment, a green portal appeared, snapping her out of her state as Voice walked through and it closed behind them.

"Well?" Moustache quickly put on her usual tone.

A silence descended.

"Nothing worked." Voice spoke. "I've exhausted all options I'm willing to dirty my hands with. All for nothing."

"Ah." She coughed. Voice had told her long ago about their mission, who they were. She'd even seen their face, which made her shudder, so she knew that this meant-

"My plan?" Moustache perked up hopefully.

"Your plan." Voice nodded.

"Awesome!" She hopped off her chair. "Then we'll use your teleportation to get up to their ship, grab ALL the Time Pieces, and then-!...And...then..."

"What's wrong?" Voice instantly picked up on her hesitation.

"I'm worried." She admitted. "Worried that, I might make some kind of mistake. That...everyone will hate me." She had to stop herself from whimpering.

After a moment, Voice called her name. Her real name. And she turned to face them.

"The fact that you are hesitating about this decision, already means you have grown so much. So much more then hundreds, thousands of other yous." Voice told her. "If this choice turns out to be a mistake, then it is a mistake we will make together. If people hate you for it, then I will make them hate me instead, gladly! And if you ever feel alone, then just remember..."

Voice pulled their hood down. "I will always be your friend."

Moustache stared at them for a minute, before smiling.

"You big softie." She chuckled as she rubbed her eyes. "Thanks a lot."

"No problem." Voice said as they pulled their hood back up. "Let's go." They began creating a portal.

"Voice..." Moustache spoke as she stood next to them. "Please stay by my side. Until the end."

That caused Voice to freeze. The two looked at each other, and shared a silent conversation.

"...I promise." They nodded.

We continued on riding the Sand Mobiles further into the golden wasteland, until Sweetie eventually cried:

"Time Piece, ahoy! There it is!" She declared.

We slowed to a stop and gathered around a single Time Piece that was rather unceremoniously half buried in the sand, which Hat picked up.

"Yep, it's ours alright." She nodded. "I can tell, it's a Captain thing."

"So that makes all of them accounted for." I said. "The only ones we don't have are the ones Moustache and Voice have."

"Guess our next plan of action is going to be confronting them, then?" Bow guessed.

"We won't lost to those guys!" Knit declared.

"I'm glad it all worked out." Sweetie nodded.

"Thank you for your help, Sweetie." Hat nodded. "And for telling me about Sand N' Sails, too."

"No problem." She said. "Anyway, listen; that big dimensional distortion moment seems to be right around the corner for you guys, so you'd best be careful, got it?"

"We will." I nodded.

"Let's go home and put this one back, then let's go after Moustache and Voice!" Hat declared, which Bow and Knit cheered to.

Me and Hat combined our abilities and created a portal back, bidding farewell to Sweetie as we jumped through and landed back in the ship.

"Home sweet home." I spoke.

"That was nice. We should go to a desert sometime." Hat said.

"Maybe stick to a beach instead." I suggested.

"I wanna go to a beach and get ice cream!" Bow said.

"Guys...something's wrong." Knit said.

"What?" The three of us turned to her.

"You four!"

We all looked over to see CC and Boss huddled up in the corner with Roombi.

"Huh? What's wrong, guys?" Hat questioned.

"They're here!" CC pointed towards the vault, where-

"Moustache!" Hat gasped.

"Voice!" I yelled.

The two of them were standing in front of the open vault, as Moustache had picked up several Time Piece over her head.

"Too late!" She shouted as she threw them down.

"Noooooooooo!" Both me and Hat cried.

There was the sound of shattering glass.

Then nothing but white.

This is it, Luig-I mean, folks. The beginning of the end. And we start it on the chapter that has my favourite number on it. How poetic.

So yes, what with all the references to Sand N' Sails, I decided to give it it's own little chapter before the finale began, which was a good excuse for Tie and the others to have one last talk of acceptance and understanding before moving into the stuff this arc will touch upon. Sorry it was so short Sand N' Sails, but at least you weren't shafted.

And yes, Voice was busy hopping all over the place for a while, so feel free to cameo them in your own tale if you want. As for what their ultimate goal, and their last resort plan is, all will soon be revealed.

Thank you to Konan720, Mr. Mega1423 and ScalchopWarrior for reviewing the previous chapter! Sorry this one's so late, but I've been busy with uni!

Next time: the final act commences! See you then!
