"Poor Hades..maybe we should've told him it was just a phase." Lachesis whined.

Clotho shook her head at her sister. "You know we're not supposed to spoil such important things. If we would've told him, he would most likely stay damaged. He needed these events to happen." She explained. But it wasn't enough for Lachesis.

"Yeah but this new girl could've done it too. She's basically like Persephone, just a bit...rougher I guess." Clotho shook her head.

"I see where she's coming from." Atropos chimed in. "But Clotho is right sis. She could've either broken him completely or fixed him entirely. Persephone is, and was, the better option."

Lachesis huffs. "Ok, but how is she gonna get here? She's a good girl, despite her chaotic tendencies. I doubt she's gonna disobey her mother like Persephone. She is too afraid of the unknown." She says, exasperated.

Clotho put the last of the memories where they belonged, moving on to the next cart of memories and futures. "We will have to leave that to her. If she can't conjure up the guts to do it herself or comes up on some problems, we'll help her out."

The door opened, stopping the conversation between the fates. Looking at the newcomer, they are greeted by Hecate.

"Hey, how's the filing going?" She asked, checking in.

Atropos cocked her head to the side, showing her confusion. "It's the same every day. What are you doing down here? Aren't you, like, really busy all the time?" She asked. Lachesis nods in agreement.

"Sis is right. What's up?"

Hecate shakes her head in dismay. "It's Hades." She sighs. "He's too absorbed into his work. He doesn't talk friendly anymore, it's all professional. Hell, his brothers can't even get him out of his office. He's practically marinating in the property."

She facepalms. "I don't know if I should just send him home or what? He has a computer and won't stop working even if I send him home...I came here looking for help, cause I don't have many other options left to choose from."

The sisters looked between each other. Atropos was mildly surprised by the downhill progression of their king. Clotho, on the other hand, wasn't as worried as her two sisters.

"You needn't worry about getting Hades out of his stupor. There's someone in his future, the only problem is that we have no idea when she'll make a move." Clotho explained.

"Another girl?!" Hecate cried. "Just...please tell me she's at least older than Persephone.."

Atropos nodded excitedly. "She is! I don't think it'll be any better than 19 but she's exactly 118 years and a month old!"

At this Hecate perked up. "She's a Sagittarius?"

The sisters' nod.

"That's great! Maybe her adventurousness will rub off on Hades!" With her spirits now lifted, Hecate gets up to leave. "I'll do my best to take care of him until the new girl comes." She says, waving behind her as she leaves.

The sisters stand in silence, while Clotho walks off to continue working.

"Are you sure this new girl is the one for Hades? Hades is a Scorpio. The most compatible signs are Cancer, Pisces, and Virgo..." Lachesis said, unsure.

Clotho sighs. "When you meet a person, do you immediately think about zodiac signs?" Lachesis shakes her head. "Well, there you go. It's all about personality. And this new girl is a force to be reckoned with. For more than one reason."

Atropos nodded and got back to work. "That she is. I just hope Minthe and that trampy friend of hers doesn't pull anything underhanded this time. I almost had a heart attack when Persephone had that warrant sent out for her."

The sisters nodded, and Clotho turned on the TVs.

"It's fine let's check up on her progress."

The sisters gathered around the TVs and watched as a field came onto the monitor. There were animals sleeping around a sleeping girl, Demeter approaching the group looking as if she was getting ready to explode. Clotho smirked.

"Well, it looks as if we won't have to wait any longer."
