! Beep! Beep! Beep!

The sound of a digital alarm clock rang throughout the new dorm room of the newly formed team of Beacon Academy, team IFMS consisting of Fumikage Tokoyami, Mina Ashido, Shoto Todoroki, and of course the leader of the team Izuku Midoriya. After the whole incident with the emerald forest and of course becoming a team yesterday, them along with all the other newly formed teams like RWBY, JNPR, and TEKD were shown the dorm rooms they would be living in together.

And after taking the rest of yesterday to relax and eat in said dorm room, they would now be faced with the next challenge the great Beacon Academy would have to offer them.

Classes.

A couple female groans were heard as the alarm clock beeped. "Ugh…turn that thing off…" Mina let out in a tired tone. She didn't know what time it was, but it was too early for her to wake up. One thing about Mina that her team was going to learn, Mina wasn't exactly a morning person. "I need more beauty sleep…"

But her team didn't seem to meet her request as all the guys in the dorm room all quickly woke up and were out of bed in seconds, not being too drowsy themselves. "Hmmmm…" Eri let out while in bed, her bed head almost covering her closed eyes as she looked around blindly. Her pajamas being a pink onesie with apples on it. "Is it morning already Zuzu…."

"Hehehe, yeah Eri it is. Sorry but it's time to get up." Izuku smiled as he gently ruffled his adoptive sisters hair getting a sleepy groan from her. His sleepwear consisted of a light blue t-shirt and light green shorts. Izuku had more than gotten used to waking up in the morning as he often liked to get up early so he could get in as much training as possible during the day. But much like Mina Eri was a girl that enjoyed sleeping in as much as possible. "Come on let's get out of bed."

"Nooooo…" Eri let out as Izuku grabbed her waist and lifted her off the bed.

"Ugh how are you three not absolutely groggy right now…?" Mina questioned as she sat up. Revealing her pajama's to be a loose black top with the word "Pinky" on it in pink as well as a purple pajama shorts. "It's 6 in the morning…"

"That's a normal time to wake up." Shoto stated as he stretched out of bit after getting out of bed, his face having his usual monotoned expression even after just waking up. His pajama's consisted of a plain white t-shirt and blue shorts. "Besides we need to get up early so we can get ready for classes."

"He's right, even if it's the first day we must be vigilant." Fumikage said in a serious tone with crossed arms. His sleep wear consisting of a black shirt with the logo of some gothic looking band on it and black shorts. "Beacon is a prestigious academy for a reason, it's most likely safe to assume that yesterday's initiation was only the tip of the iceberg of the trails we may face while here."

While his fellow boys nodded in agreement, Mina let out a huff in irritation. "You're no fun…" Mina muttered out while pouting before, very reluctant, standing up and removing herself from the comfort and warmth of the bed as she stretched out before grabbing her school uniform and heading to the bathroom. "Well if that's the case then I'm gonna go get ready."

"W-W-Wait, shouldn't w-we try and make a system on the who goes first?" Izuku spoke up as Mina shamelessly gave herself dibs on first use of the bathroom for the morning. While he was no expert on the topic of roommates, he figured making a bathroom schedule would be the most important thing so they didn't risk fighting over it. "Like maybe finding a f-fair way to-"

"You know the saying boys, ladies first~" Mina gave a shit eating grin as she grabbed Eri's hand and directed her to the bathroom with her. "Come on Eri, let's get ready for the day and enjoy some morning cuddles."

"Ok…" The little faunus yawned out as the two girls entered the bathroom together.

"…The darkness of the female heart is boundless." Fumikage commented in a deep tone with the two boys nodded in unison.

Izuku let out a sigh as he opened up a drawer on the other side of the room, each part of the drawer labeled with the 5 different names of the residents of the dorm room. "I guess it's ok if they go first together." Izuku said with the other two guys nodding, not minding either. "So how do y-you both wanna decide what order w-we go on?"

"Well you're the leader right?" Shoto asked as he removed his pajama shirt and folded it up before placing it on his bed and heading to the drawer. "You should be the one to go next right?"

"Yes, I concur." Fumikage nodded in agreement as he looked to Shoto. "I don't mind going last, you may go third Shoto."

"G-Great. Glad that's settled." Izuku let out in relief as he took out the school uniform he was given. The Beacon Academy uniform consisting of a black suit lined with gold, accompanied by a blue vest and a white shirt with a red tie and black pants. With girls they wore plaid skirts and stockings with a tan vest and white shirt with a red ribbon tied at the collar. As Izuku, Shoto, and Fumikage got dressed Izuku contemplated the situation at hand. He was the leader. Of a team. For four whole years. To say there was pressure there was a bit of an understatement. "I can't believe Ozpin actually chose me to lead the team. I mean it's an honor but what happens if I mess up? If our team messes up it could all be on me and I don't want to the reasons the others fail they all worked so hard to get here. I know it's only the first day but like Fumikage said things are only going to get harder as they go and-"

"Do you do that often?" Shoto asked, causing Izuku to flinch and sweat drop a bit an embarrassment.

"O-Oh, sorry about that." Izuku apologized as he began putting on his tie. "It's a bit of a habit I-I guess."

"It seems you're worried about your position as the leader of team IFMS." Fumikage stated with Izuku nodded a bit in response. Great, now his teammates were aware of it. "I believe Ozpin made a wise choice on his decision on you leading us throughout our time in Beacon."

"R-Really?" Izuku blinked a bit in surprise.

"It's only our first day, we aren't expecting you to be the perfect leader right away." Shoto told Izuku while looking his leader right in the eye. After yesterday's battle in the Emerald Forest with the giant Grimm, Izuku earned a great deal of respect from Shoto. Finishing off a giant Leo Grimm like that was something we at first thought only people like his oldest brother and father could pull off. Granted they worked together to take it down, but it still spoke volumes of Izuku's strength and strategic mind. "We have four years to grow stronger and work together. We're not expecting you to be perfect."

Izuku couldn't help but breath a sigh of relief as he finished putting on his uniforms. "Thanks guys, I needed to hear that." Izuku said with a small smile on his face. "I guess I can't help but over worry about things sometimes."

"We all have our inner struggles." Fumikage nodded in understanding before bringing up something he had been rather curious about. "If you don't mind me asking Izuku, what's the current situation with your little sister?"

"O-Oh right. Guess I still need to explain that huh." Izuku scratched the back of his head awkwardly. After all the craziness that happened yesterday he actually forgot to properly explain the situation with Eri to his teammates last night…that and Mina hogged Eri most of the time by smothering her with cuddles. "Well l-long story short she hid inside my luggage to sneak into beacon with me and Ozpin said it was ok if she stayed here as long as it was ok with my mom."

"What'd she say?" Shoto asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"It…actually went a bit better than I thought it would." Izuku said as he explained what happened after their team was formed yesterday…

"Eri I can't believe you did something like that!" After the big ceremony where the new teams of Beacon were formed and officially welcomes to the school, Ozpin had made his offer to Izuku of allowing his sister to stay with him on campus so long as it was ok with his mother. So once Izuku got the chance he used his scroll to call up his mother who seemed to be expecting a call from him. "Do you have any idea how worried I was?"

"Sorry mommy…" Eri said in a guilty tone as she lowered her head.

Inko let out a small sigh as a tiny smile came to her face. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though; I know how sad you were about him leaving." Inko could relate, it was so hard seeing her baby boy leave home. "I hope she didn't cause any trouble Izuku."

"N-No mom she was fine." Izuku reassured as he patted Eri on the head a little bit. "Professor Ozpin actually watched her while I was going through initiation. I-In fact he actually said that Eri would be ok to stay here with me and my team if it's ok with you."

"R-Really? He said that? Well that's certainly a surprise." Inko blinked a little bit after hearing that noise. Headmaster Ozpin himself giving permission for Eri to stay at the school with Izuku was a bit of a shocker. "Hmmmmm…I'm not sure…"

"Please mommy." Eri quietly begged as she latched onto her brother's arm while giving Inko her best puppy dog eyes. "I wanna stay with Izuku."

"Heh, you two really are inseparable." Inko couldn't help but laugh a little at the sight. After just a month since Izuku found her and they took Eri in she was at Izuku's side at every chance she got. With a sigh, Inko thought it would just be cruel to break them apart. "Well…alright. If it's ok with Ozpin it's ok with me."

"Yay!" Eri cheered as she jumped up and down, Izuku smiling as well. "Thanks mommy!"

"Of course sweetie." Inko smiled at her adoptive daughter before putting on a sterner expression and looking at both of her children. "But you have to promise to do anything your brother tells you ok? And I'll be telling your kindergarten teacher about what's going on and have him email you lessons and assignments do I make myself clear."

"Don't worry mom, I'll make sure she gets all of it done." Izuku reassure his mom as he put a hand on Eri's head. "I'll have her stay in the door room to do her school work while I'm at classes and make sure to grab her for lunch."

"Always thinking ahead, that's my Izuku." Inko should have expected Izuku to already think up a plan for this already. That brain of his just never shuts down for a second. "Well I'll send some of Eri's stuff in the mail, I love you two. Make sure you call me every day ok?"

"We will mom!" Eri and Izuku told Inko in unison. "We love you too!"

"Normally she gets emotional about this sorta stuff but she took it a lot better than I thought she would." Izuku explained with a small sweat drop. If he had a lien for every time his mom flooded the house with her tears he'd be richer than the entire Schnee dust company. "But it all worked out and Ozpin's letting her stay here with us!"

"Hmmm, rather questionable." Fumikage questioned with crossed arms. "But I won't stand against Ozpin and his decisions."

"Are you sure she'll be ok her by herself?" Shoto asked with a slightly raised brow. "I know it's not exactly dangerous but she's only five."

"I know but she's actually pretty responsible for her age, she doesn't really get into much trouble. Plus she'll be busy with the assignments her teachers gonna email to my computer." Izuku explained to the two of them. Izuku was sure Eri could handle herself until lunch and then until the end of the school day. Once Izuku reassured his teammates about the situation with his little sister said sister and Mina excited the bathroom with the latter wearing her own school uniform. "You made sure she brushed her teeth right Mina?"

"Yep! And I helped her brush her hair as well," Mina told her team leader with a thumbs up, both girls now looking more awake and lacking their bedhead. "So you boys are free to use the bathroom now."

"Thanks Mina." Izuku said as he took his turn into the bathroom.

It didn't take long for the guys to take their turn in the bathroom as all they did was brush their teeth, put on deodorant, and do their business. Once they were all ready for the day, Izuku made sure to have one last talk with Eri before he and the rest of IFMS went of to start their first day of school. "Ok Eri, remember, don't leave the dorm room while we're gone. I'll come back to pick you up for lunch and while we're in class I want you to do you schoolwork, your teacher emailed it all to me so when you finish your work send it back to her alright?"

"I will, promise." Eri nodded before hugging Izuku, her brother quickly hugging her back. "Have fun at Beacon Izuku."

"We will," Izuku reassured Eri before the two separated from their hug and with that team IFMS headed to out of their room and began making their way to where their class was with Izuku pulling out a paper with a schedule on it. "Let's see…so first we'll be taking Professor Peaches Dust class first, and then Doctor O-Ooblecks history class, t-that one should be interesting…and then Mr. Aizawa's physical fitness class and then after that it'll be lunch time. After lunch is Mrs. Shuzenji's health and medical class, then Professor Goodwitch's combat class, and finally Professor Port's Grimm Studies class."

"Ugh why does combat class gotta come that late in the day." Mina groaned out as she slumped down while walking in the back of her team's line. Not only does she have to get up super early but she has to endure a long day of hard and boring classes before getting to have any fun, not counting lunch that is. "That's the one good class on that schedule!"

"All the classes we take are equally important, they're teach us valuable skills we'll need to know when we are out on the field when we graduate." Fumikage explained to the pink haired girl in a serious tone. They were going to need to learn as much as they could so they can call themselves true huntsman and huntresses one day. "We can't afford to skip out on any of them Mina,"

"Jerk…" Mina mumbled with Fumikage not responding.

"Come on Mina it won't be so bad," Izuku tried to reassure his teammate. As leader he had to make sure his entire team was engaged in classes so they could do well to succeed in them. "I'm sure we'll still learn and get to do a lot of cool stuff in the other classes."

Before Mina could respond IFMS looked forward to see another door in the hallway open up with another one of their fellow first year teams coming out. "Single file everyone!" It was none other than Tenya who was standing in front of his door and motioning his arms towards the hallway in a robotic-like fashion. "We move in a calm and orderly manner so we can get to class on time without causing any commotion!"

"Alright, alright, sheesh man we're moving." Eijiro said with a chuckle as he walked out of the room with his arms crossed behind his head. The red heads eyes motioned to the side where he saw IFMS and gave his fellow first year team a friendly smile and wave. "Oh hey! Morning guys, up and ready for the day huh?"

"Yes we are." Shoto nodded as he looked over the two members of team TEKD. If what his brother told him was true than there was gonna be a strong chance that they could find each other sparring against this and other teams during combat class so they had to make sure to observe and study their fellow first years and be ready to potentially face them. "How about you?"

"Well thanks to Tenya here we are." Eijiro explained as he gestured his head to his team leader. "Dude made sure we woke up an hour before class and preformed these 'morning exercises' to help wake up and get ready before he want on a ten minute rant on the proper way to brush our teeth, wash up, and put on our uniforms." Eijiro then stepped up to team IFMS and whispered to them. "Definitely glad I didn't grow up in Atlas if this is the stuff they teach you."

"Hm?" Tenya hummed as he looked at Eijiro. "What was that Eijiro?"

"O-Oh uh nothing!" Eijiro sheepishly smiled as he waved Tenya off. "Just telling IFMS here good luck for the first day."

"Ah good! We should all wish each other luck for our first day in this prestigious academy! It will no doubt be a long and challenging four years!" Tenya yelled rather dramatically as he waved his arms around, continuing his robotic movement. "We shall spend every day perfecting the teaching of our professors so we may go out on day and protect our world from the grimm! So we won't afford to slack off even for a second!"

'…Well at least he's consistent.' All of IFMS and Eijiro thought as they sweat dropped as Tenya's glasses seemed to shine as he finished up his mini speech.

"Please just be quiet…" A new voice spoke up as Denki slumped outta the room, looking like he's been through absolute hell. And if you asked him he said he did go through that! "Please promise us you're not gonna wake us up like that every morning?"

"Of course I am!" Tenya told the blond as if it was obvious. "It helps us remain diligent and prepare us for whatever the day has to offer us!"

"…I should have gone to Haven…" Denki let out in despair as he walked forward.

"Revelry in the dark…" Fumikage muttered as he looked at Denki, Mina giving him a weird look.

And as Izuku was just sweat dropping at the sight of Denki, he suddenly flinched as he felt a pair of burning eyes on him. Looking to the doorway leading into TEKD's dorm room he saw a face he knew he was gonna come across today regardless of anything. Katsuki Bakugo. "Deku." Katsuki growled out, causing Izuku to flinch a bit as the ash-blond gritted his teeth a little bit. "Don't think just because you were made a team leader your hot shit now. You're still nothing compared to me!"

"Katsuki!" Tenya yelled as he looked at his teammate with wide eyes. "Why would you say something like that?!"

"Yeah! That was rude!" Mina yelled, quickly angered by the Izuku's old childhood friend. She could already tell this guy was a massive bully. "What's your problem?!"

"Shut up ya damn extra!" Katsuki snapped at Mina before looking Izuku right in the eye. "Just you all watch! Today I'm gonna show why I'm the best student in this fucking school! You'll all be in my dust!" And with that, not giving anyone a chance to say anything else Katsuki stormed forward with his hands in his pockets.

"Geez, what was that all about?" Eijiro muttered before giving IFMS a quick smile and wave. "Uh, we'll see ya guys in class!"

"Katsuki! You get back here right now and apologize!" Tenya yelled as he and Ejiro ran down the hall. "This sort of behavior is not befitting a student of Beacon!"

And once they were gone Izuku allowed himself to brief a sigh of relief. "Well…that certainly could have been worse…" Izuku let out before putting on a shaky smile and looking at his team. "C-Come on, w-we should do the same before w-were late."

"Do you know him?" Shoto asked as they all started walking forward again, heading down the stairs of their dorm building. "He seems to have a grudge against you."

"O-Oh, y-y-y-yeah, his name i-is Katsuki Bakugo, we…used to be friends wh-when we were kids." Izuku began explaining his history with Katsuki to his team. Since they were gonna be together for the next four years they deserved to know this so they weren't in the dark regarding Katsuki's aggression against him, and Jaune for that matter. "L-Long story short he un-unlocked his semblance when he was a kid a-and sort of got a bit of an e-ego because of it and started to b-belittle me and J-Jaune and that eventually turned into…well…what you all saw…"

"Sheesh, sounds like a big brat to me." Mina commented as she crossed her arms. If there was anything she hated more than anything it was bullies. Just mean brutes picking on others smaller than them just because they could. "Well hey! All you gotta do is kick his ass in combat class and show him how strong you are!"

"W-WHAT?!" Izuku yelled as he froze in place and looked at Mina like she was crazy.

"A rather blunt approach…" Fumikage deadpanned before looking to his leader. "But it seems you two have a sort of rivalry going correct?"

"U-Uh…I-I guess you could say that…" Izuku never really thought of it that way, but it wasn't entirely wrong. "Not sure if that's what he'd say…"

"Then you'll have plenty of chances to show him how strong you are throughout our time here," Fumikage offered some rather wise words of wisdom to his leader about this situation. "Rivalries are often won on the mental battlefield rather than his arena. Instead of focusing on becoming better than him you should become better than yourself, sharpening your own steel."

"…You sound so wise…" Mina said with a shocked look on her face.

"Yeah…Yeah you're right." Izuku smiled at his teammate and nodded his head. "Thanks Fumikage."

"As a team we should do our best to help one another." Fumikage said as he put a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "We're in this together, so we need to be at each other's aid at all times."

"Right." Shoto nodded in agreement.

'Wow…' Izuku thought as he looked at his team and smiled. 'I'm glad I was able to partner up with them.'

FIRST PERIOD

"Come on guys hurry up!"

"We can't be late on the first day!"

"This wouldn't have happened if you all listened to me and didn't waste time making bunk beds!"

"Wait you made bunk beds?"

"Not important now Pyrrha!"

"Sorry!"

"I want more pancakes!"

"Just shut up and run!"

Currently both team RWBY and team JNPR were making a mad dash for class as both teams had managed to lose track of the time. With RWBY they had been busy decorating their rooms and, when it proved to be too cluttered, made space for everything by turning their four beds into two bunk beds. As for JNPR they lost track of time by enjoying too much of Ren's breakfast, the green ninja proving himself to be an excellent cook.

And now they only had five minutes to make it to Professor Peaches classroom.

"Which way was it again?" Ruby asked as the eight first years made their way through the hallways. "I can't remember which number it was!"

"You dolt!" Weiss yelled in frustration as she took the lead. "It was classroom number 8! Just follow me!"

"Two minutes left!" Yang yelled as she checked her scroll as they now followed Weiss through the halls. "We're not gonna make it!"

"Now with that attitude little missy!" Nora yelled as she rose a fist and charged forward at a faster past. "CHAAAAARGE!"

"Wait! There it is!" Jaune pointed forward as he saw a door labeled with an 8 above it. "We can make it!"

"One minute left!" Blake yelled as everyone sped up and-

CRASH!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" All eight teens yelled as they crashed into the room at the same time, resulting in both teams forming a large pile of bodies in the back of the classrooms.

"Um…" Pyrrha let out as she and everyone else looked up to see the classroom, which was set up as a large chemistry-like class with a table with various tools and such for each team on it, as well as everyone in it looking back at them with either strange or amused looks. "We're sorry…"

"Oh wow! The first day and there's already a pile of bodies on the floor! You first years are going to be fun~" A high pitched female voice said as the students looked past the RWBY and JNPR pile as a new woman entered the room, stepping past the fallen first years and making her way to the front of the classroom where a large white board waited. This woman was on the shorter side, only about 4 foot 8, with peach colored hair done up in a bun and light red eyes. She wore a lab coat over a red sweater along with black latex gloves and black latex knee length boots and brown stockings. "Good morning first years! Welcome to your first day of Beacon and first day of my class! My name is Professor Peach and I will be teaching all about the fantastical world of…"

The woman that was revealed to everyone to be Professor Peach then reached into the pocked of her lab coat and pulled out a small vial filled with powders of various colors. Throwing into on the floor the vial broke and there was small rainbow-colored explosion that occurred. Everyone gasped but as the smoke of it cleared it revealed Peach, her outfit now having stains of various colors, striking a pose as the word 'DUST' hovered over her as a result of the explosion. "DUST!" Peach announced with a giant grin on her face. Once the word above her vanished Peach looked to RWBY and JNPR with an amused look. "Alright you four, if there's anyone that enjoys being stuck in a tangle of bodies, it's me. But I'm afraid you're gonna have to save that for after school and when there are no witnesses around~! So get up and get to your tables!"

"Y-Yes Professor Peach!" RWBY and JNPR, while deciding to not think about her words too much, all got up and each took one of the free tables left in the classroom.

"Now then, like I said in my class you're all going to be learning about Dust!" Professor Peach explained as all eyes in the classroom were focused on her. "Now then the history of dust is long and complex, many believe it's the primordial state of which mankind rose up from with many believe that were wore born from dust itself! While others simply believe it's a natural phenomenon. Whatever the case may be, Dust is a part of everyone on Remnant's daily lives! We use it to power our appliances, our vehicle, and what I'm sure you're all most interested in, using it with our weapons to fight Grimm! Now where there is Dust of all different type as I'm sure you all know but who can tell me the four basic type of dust that-"

"That's simple." Weiss said in a vain manner as she rose her hand up. "The four basic Dust types are-"

"DON'T INTERRUPT ME WHEN I'M TALKING!" Professor Peach suddenly snapped with her face becoming one of pure rage aimed directly at Weiss. The Schnee Heiress flinched and slowly lowered her hand, as well as slowly duck under her desk as she could feel the anger coming off her dust professor. Everything was completely silent to the point where you could hear a pin drop as Peach continued to glare at Weiss…only to revert to her usual positive expression moments later. "Now then! Like I was saying before being interrupted who here can tell me the four basic dust types that all dust branch from and their properties?" Everyone sweat dropped at their teachers quick mood swings as a few rose their hands, including Tenya, Izuku, Ruby, and Shoto to which Peach pointed at the former. "You there with the nerd glasses!"

Choosing to ignore that remark, and the various chuckles of his peers, Tenya gave the answer to the professors question. "The four basic types of dust are Fire, a red colored dust that can create fire in various forms, rock dust, an orange colored dust that is used to create and manipulate various forms of earth, water dust, a blue dust that can be used to create and manipulate water, and wind dust, a green dust that can generate winds of various strength!"

"Bingo! All of that is correct!" Peach confirmed as she picked up some various colored markers and started drawing various diagrams on the board, using various colors to show the different types of dust she was talking about. "While you can find all sorts of kind of dust naturally, all of them have various amounts and combinations of these dust that make them up! For example ice dust is create from a combination of water and wind dust and lightning dust is made up of a combination of wind and fire dust!" Izuku than rose his hand. "Yes! The awkward broccoli haired boy!"

"U-Um…" Izuku stuttered a bit at his description, Mina getting a good giggle out of it, before asking his question. "Isn't it a bit more complicated than that? Depending on the amount of dust in the combination?"

"That is absolutely correct!" Peach nodded her head before explaining further. "This is just a laymen's description, much like the DNA in a human or faunus, a single little change can completely change the make up of dust! For example, while ice is a mix of water and wind, it's the amount of those two dust in the primary dust that makes ice dust ice dust! Changing the amount of wind or water even a little can make the dust something completely new! Like mixing spices in a dish for dinner! Or how much time you spend in photoshop for you dating profile picture!"

That got a good amount of laugh's in the classroom as Shoto rose his hand.

"Your question there half and half?" Peach asked Shoto in a cheery tone.

"Ha!" Katsuki laughed.

"What about the way dust interacts with semblances?" Shoto asked, not showing any reaction to her little nickname for him. "My semblance allows me to power up fire dust with my left side, and ice dust with my right side. But from what I understand dust interacts differently with different semblances. Like how my team leader can use dust to forge different weapons."

"Well that is a very good question!" Peach grinned as she pulled out a book labeled 'Dust and Humanity' and that and other dust basics are what we'll be going over today! So I want you all to pull out your text books and turn to chapter one!" There were a few groans from various students as everyone pulled out their books. "Your bored sighs only make my teaching abilities strong children! Now first and foremost dust was first discovered by early men where they quickly attempted to learn about its various properties…"

And just like that everyone was in for a long hour of learning about dust and what it could do.

"Well…she certainly was an interesting teacher." Fumikage commented as his team, along with everyone else, all exited the classroom. Thankfully the hour wasn't anything to complimented, mainly just going over the basics of dust and how they interact with semblances as well as just dealing with Peaches…vibrant personality. Was gonna be an experience learning from her to say the least. "Rather unorthodox for an educator."

"Aw come on she was fun!" Mina smiled as she skipped through the halls. "At least I know there's gonna be one teacher here who isn't a boring fuddy duddy!"

"Hey Jaune," Meanwhile Izuku had walked up to team JNPR and got Jaune's attention, asking something he'd been wondering about since class started. "Why were you and team RWBY so late for class today? I waited by the door for you but you never showed up, and you barely made it on time. Did something happen?"

"Oh, no, no, everything's all good Izuku." Jaune reassured as he awkwardly waved it off. "We just kinda lost track of time eating breakfast…"

"Eating breakfast?" Izuku asked with a raised brow.

"Ren is a…really good cook." Jaune slowly said with a sheepish chuckle. "Like seriously he could give our moms a run for their money."

"His pancakes are to die for!" Nora shouted dramatically as she suddenly got in between the two friends. "He'll make you some after class today!"

"Very kind of you to offer Nora." Ren deadpanned as Nora just smiled cheekily.

"S-So what class do we have next again?" Jaune asked as he scratched the back of his head. "I kinda left our schedule in the dorm room. We…pretty much relied on following team RWBY to get to our first class hehe…"

"I believe it's Doctor Ooblecks history course right?" Shoto spoke up as both Izuku and Jaune flinched. Something Shoto took note of. "Is something wrong?"

"N-No it's just…well you'll find out when we get to class." Izuku told his teammate. While Shoto was still a bit curious about all that, he accepted Izuku's answer and would just wait until they got to class to find out what it was all about. "Gonna be interesting to see how this goes…"

'I just hope he doesn't question why I'm here…' Jaune thought nervously. Of all the history teachers Beacon could have had…it had to be Oobleck. The one person who might be able to find out about his little…exploit about getting into Beacon. 'Just play it cool Arc, I'm sure he won't find out…'

"I just don't see what the big deal is!" They heard Ruby yell as she and the rest of her team walked by, with Weiss trying to speed walk away from her leader with a rather irritated look on her face.

"You kept trying to copy my notes!" Weiss yelled at her leader with a hard glare. "Maybe if you were actually paying attention you could take your own notes!"

"But we're a team! We're supposed to help each other!" Ruby tried to reason with the ice queen as she gestured to her older sister. "You didn't say anything when Yang was copying your notes!"

"She what?!" Weiss, who had no idea Yang was doing that, yelled as she directed her glare to the blond as she gave her sister a blank look.

"Thanks for selling me out that rubes…" Yang rose her arms up in frustration as Blake passed by, keeping a mostly stoic face in spite of everything.

"LET ME GO!" Katsuki roared as Tenya and Eijiro worked together to pull him out of the classroom, his eyes one of pure rage that lacked pupils. "I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL HER!"

"Sheesh would you calm down already dude you're acting like a hyper active grimm!" Denki yelled as he looked at his teammate with a bit of fear in his eyes. Of all the people to be on a team with he was with a guy with the worst case of anger issues in the history of Remnant. "So what if she called you a Pomeranian? She called me Pikachu!"

"GRRRRRRRR!" Katsuki growled viciously.

"Oooooo, you're a feisty one!" Peach commented from inside the classroom. "I'm gonna enjoy having you in my class~"

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU BITCH!"

Well…Beacon definitely wasn't boring for the most part.

HISTORY CLASS

"Ugh this is gonna be so boring…" Yang groaned as she saw down next to the rest of her team in the history class which was set up like a typical college classroom with various rows of long wooden desk with the center and lowest part of the room had the teacher's desk and chalkboard. "History class is the worst!"

"It's also an important class." Blake spoke up rather sternly. "It's important that we learn about the past…and the mistakes others who came before us made so we don't have to repeat them."

"Yeah I guess…" Ruby sighed out, not looking forward to history either. Like her sister she just found it boring learning about a bunch of old dudes. She much preferred having some actual action going on whether than just being told about action. "Just hope this Mr. Oobleck isn't has weird as Professor Peach was."

"That's Doctor Oobleck!"

"AH!" Ruby let out in fright as she fell off her seat and landed on her butt. Looking up, she saw a rather tall man at 6 foot 7 with messy green hair wearing a white shirt partially tucked into his dark-green pants and its collar raised, showing a slack yellow tie, along with mismatched brown and black shoes. He also has round glasses that appear to be opaque. "Where did you come from?!"

"I come from everywhere! It's a talent of mine!" The man who everyone was now starring at said as he took a sip from a cup of coffee. "Hello class I am Doctor Oobleck, please remember that part, and I will be your teacher in the amazing and informative world of the history of Remnant!" Oobleck explained as he walked down the stairs of the classroom to his teaching area while looking over his students. "Now we must not waste anytime, four years may seem like a long time but it is important that we-" But Oobleck suddenly cut himself off as he found his eyes wondering to one student in particular.

Izuku Midoriya.

"…Nephew!" Oobleck let out as he looked Izuku right in the eye.

"Hehe…h-hi Uncle Bartholomew." Izuku said with a bit of a shaky wave.

And in an instant everyone in the classroom other than Jaune and Katsuki had shocked looks on their faces. "UNCLE?!" All the other first years shouted at once as they looked between Oobleck and Izuku.

"Tch…" Katsuki silently clicked his tongue.

"So I see you were able make it into Beacon, that is great news!" Oobleck said with a small smile as he zoomed up to Izuku, becoming a green and white blur that no one could track. "Although while we're in class I expect you to call me Doctor Oobleck like the rest of the class."

"R-Right Doctor Oobleck." Oobleck nodded in approval as Izuku smiled up at him. "But it's nice to see you, it's been a while."

"Indeed it has!" Oobleck said in agreement as he adjusted his tie. "Now as much as I'd like to ask how my sister and niece are doing, that'll have to wait! We have a class to get too."

"So, your uncles a teacher here huh?" Izuku turned to see Weiss looking at him with narrowed eyes. "I suppose you'll be expecting special treatment then,"

"The opposite actually…" Izuku let out a hollow chuckle and sweat dropped. "I expect him to be twice as hard on me."

"Indeed!" Oobleck said as he zoomed behind his desk, taking another sip from his coffee as well. "I expect nothing but the best from my Nephew and the rest of you as well! You got into this prestigious academy and I expect you all to show me why you deserve to be here!" Oobleck looked over the class again and found a couple more familiar faces. One of which was Jaune Arc, which did surprise Oobleck a bit though he didn't show it. Last he had seen Jaune's performance when it comes to a huntsman in training was…lacking. But perhaps Izuku rubbed off on him a bit, Oobleck will just have to see for himself, but it was a certain spiky ash blond that got Oobleck's interest, and not in the good way. "Katsuki Bakugo."

Katsuki flinched as Oobleck's eyes met him, causing the ash blond to school and look away. "Yeah what?" He asked with a low growl.

"Listen well Mr. Bakugo." Oobleck spoke with a voice stern enough that it actually unsettled most of the class, including a rabbit faunus whose ears lowered and twitched. "I am well aware of your typical behavior and let me make one thing clear, it will not be tolerated in this class do I make myself clear?"

"…Yeah whatever," Katsuki muttered out.

"Good." Oobleck adjusted his class for a moment before picking up a piece of chalk and wrote on the board with enough speed to create a smoke screen of chalk dust. "Now class the history of Remnant is expansive and vast, so take out your text books and let's get started!" When the chalk screen cleared everyone saw the board was filled with…lot's complicated history stuff that showed this class wasn't gonna be a walk in the park.

"Ugh…" Yang let out as she banged her head against the desk.

PHSYICAL FITNESS CLASS

"Uuuuuuugh…" Mina let out with swirls in her eyes and smoke coming out of her brain. Currently she and the other first years were gathered up in the front yard of Beacon waiting for their teacher for this hours class to arrive. "Izuku…your uncle is the WORST!"

"He's just…really passionate about history." Izuku chuckled nervously, fully expecting this sort of thing. Mina wasn't the only student to be in this state as Yang, Ruby, Nora, and Denki all had burning brains as a result of Ooblecks class. "He loves getting to talk about it, hehe…"HeHe

"He's a monster!" Mina let out with fire in her eyes.

"Even I'll admit I was having trouble keeping track of him during class." Fumikage admitted with a sweat drop. That man talked about as fast as he ran. "How is he able to move at such speeds? Is that his semblance?"

"No…" Izuku revealed, shocking everyone nearby. "Believe me, it's all natural…"

"He's not human…" Yang let out in defeated despair.

"It wasn't that bad." Ren said with a calm tone with many looking at him like he was crazy. How could anyone handle a lesson like that? And it was only the first day! "Besides he had a point, Remnant has a lot of important history for us to learn.

"I concur with Ren!" Tenya agreed as he rose an arm up high. "The history of the four kingdoms is vital knowledge we must all make sure we know going forward with our studies and goals, for they hold many answers to problems found in the present!"

"Yeah I think Denki would disagree with ya there," Eijiro said with an amused tone as he waved his hand and snapped his fingers in front of Denki's face with the thunder charge semblance user moaned like a zombie. "I think his brain is fried after all that."

"Are you all gonna just stand around talking or are you actually gonna get ready for class?"

"Huh?" Everyone let out as a new tired sounding voice spoke up.

"Wait a second…" Ruby let out as she and her classmates turned to the source of that voice. It sounded so familiar to Ruby and sure enough when they so who it was Ruby quickly recognized the man. "Oh boy…"

"Uh…is that a mutant caterpillar?" Nora asked as she pointed to a yellow sleeping bag with the face of a man with long messy black hair, stumble, and tired bloodshot eyes sticking out of it.

"No." The man answered as she unzipped his sleeping bag and stepped out of it, everyone giving him an uneasy look. All except Ruby. While he looked more like a bum than a huntsman, Ruby knew the truth about this man. "Alright class, I'm Mr. Aizawa and if you're all done goofing around we can get started with today's class." As Aizawa looked over his class, his eyes fell upon Ruby who audibly gulped as Aizawa looked her over. "So, he actually let you in."

"Heheh, y-yeah he sure did…" Ruby awkwardly answered as she gave a small wave to Aizawa with Weiss raising a brow at the little interaction. "Nice to…see you again…"

"Hm," Aizawa simply hummed before looking over his whole class. "Alright, go to the locker rooms and put on your combat gear, once your changed report back here where you'll preform various exercises." Aizawa then started to walk off leading most of the class confused.

"Wait, that's it?" Weiss asked as Aizawa let out a sigh and turned his head towards Weiss. "Aren't you going to explain what we're going to be going through with this class? Or further explanation towards these exercises or? Or-"

"You're wasting time asking questions." Aizawa cut her off bluntly. Weiss flinched a bit and glared at the teacher and opened her mouth to rebuttal but wasn't able to get anything out as Aizawa spoke again. "This is physical fitness class, what do you think it's about? And these exercises are to show me what level you're all at right now, and you're free to use your semblances as you wish if they'll help you with them. Is that enough of an answer for you?"

"Hmph," Weiss huffs a bit with Aizawa not caring one bit about it.

"Now that that's settle all of you go get changed, you've wasted enough time already." Aizawa dryly told them as he looked over each team briefly as he walked by them.

Team RWBY was certainly unstable and he could sense friction with a couple members.

JNPR was mostly solid but with an obvious weak link.

TEKD, certainly a team with a lot of unique personalities in it that could go either way.

CRDL, a bunch of delinquents, simple as that.

IFMS was certainly an interesting team that caught Aizawa's eye for a few extra moments.

This year was certainly going to be interesting…and filled with lots of headaches.

LUNCH TIME

"Sooooo…the teachers here are total weirdo's right?" Yang asked as she, the rest of Team RWBY, Team JNPR, and team IFMS with the exception of Izuku were all sharing a table for lunch. Considering that students of all years had lunch at the same hour the lunch room was huge and of course had a wide variety of food to choose from. With all of them being first years they thought it would make sense to stick together for lunch as well as talk about the school day so far.

"That's putting it lightly." Weiss commented as she ate her lunch in an eloquent manner. "You'd think Beacon would have more professional teachers. Mr. Aizawa hardly did anything! Just told us to do a few exercises and when we were done he just told us we could do what we wanted for the rest of the hour! He didn't even show us the results!"

"But it was kinda fun," Ruby smiled after taking a drink from a carton of milk. "Being able to use our semblances for the each exercise was pretty cool! I was able to send that ball flying to moon! It was all like whooooooooooosh!" Ruby let out as she made various expressions and movements, only to flinch as Weiss gave her a rather critical eye. "W-What?"

"Tsk," Weiss shook her head as she moved her head away from her team leader.

"Aw come on it's fun guys!" Nora smiled with her cheeks puffed up with food like a chipmunk. "Well except for Oobleck, that class was awful…"

"Nora, don't talk with your mouthful," Ren told his friend with a sigh. "You're gonna choke."

"It was rather unorthodox, but I'm sure each teacher has their reason for teaching in their way." Fumikage spoke up while eating from a chicken salad as he turned to Shoto. "Shoto, you told your brother went here right? How was it for him when he was here,"

Todoroki took a moment to swallow the soba in his mouth before speaking up. "Touya told me before I left home that the classes here helped him become the Huntsman he is today," Shoto answered as everyone turned their eyes to him. "He still relies on his lessons while out on missions, so we should do our best to learn from our teachers."

"I couldn't agree more Shoto." Pyrrha smiled and nodded at Shoto's words. "I'm sure we'll learn many things that will be vital in our future as huntsman and huntresses. Don't you agree Jaune?"

"Yeah…sure…" Jaune muttered as he picked through his food aimlessly.

"Jaune? Are you…alright?" Mina asked as she and others gave him a few raised brows. "You've been quiet since the end of our last class."

"O-Oh, uh, r-really? Haven't noticed, hehe…" Jaune snapped back into reality and gave everyone an awkward smile. "But yeah I'm fine! Totally fine! Everything's all good up in Jauneville."

"Is it because you bombed it in the exercises?" Ruby asked rather bluntly with a raised brow.

Jaune flinched rather violently at this. In truth it had been that. Jaune was glad that the results of the exercises weren't shown because no doubt he would have been in dead last for each and every one of them. Didn't help that team CRDL was pretty much laughing at and mocking him the whole time or Katsuki giving him some very harsh looks. "N-Not at all…" Jaune weakly lied. "Just an off day is all…hehe…"

"Are you sure Jaune?" Pyrrha asked with a bit of a concerned tone. "We're you're teammates and friends so you can tell us if-"

"So hey!" Jaune quickly spoke up to try and change the subject of conversation. "Where's Izuku huh? I wanna know where my best friend is!"

The three members of IFMS were about to answer Jaune's question, but was cut off by a familiar voice cutting in. "I'm here! I'm here!" Izuku yelled to everyone as he approached the table with a try of food in his hands. "Didn't realize the dorm rooms were so far away from the lunchroom."

"Where were you at the dorm…rooms…" Blake asked with a raised brow…before her eyes wondered next to Izuku and saw that he wasn't alone. Standing next to Izuku with her own try of food was his little sister Eri looking at the large group rather shyly. Soon enough everyone looked to where Blake was looking and, with the exception of IFMS, grew surprised at seeing the 5-year-old girl with most of the girl's eyes widening as they stared at Eri. "Um…who is that Izuku?"

"AAAAAAHHH!" Ruby and Yang squealed at the same time as they starred at Eri with stars in their eyes while holding their cheeks. "SHE'S SO CUTE!"

"H-Hello…" Eri shyly waved to everyone.

"E-Everyone, I'd like you all to meet my sister Eri." Izuku properly introduced his sister to everyone while putting a hand on her head. "She's, uh, gonna be staying with me and my team."

"Aaaaww…" Nora slumped down in disappointment. "I wanted to keep her…"

"Nora please." Ren calmly scolded his childhood friend.

"Hehehe, well she is quite adorable." Pyrrha commented as she gave Eri a sweet smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you Eri."

"Get used to his Eri," Mina giggled as she and Izuku sat down at the table together. "All the girls here are gonna go gaga for you."

"O-Ok…" Eri slowly nodded her head as she took an apple she got off her tray.

Meanwhile all the girls were starring at Eri. Blake flashed a quick smile but had to the least expressive reaction to the little girl. Ruby and Yang continue starring at her and taking in the white-haired girls cuteness. Nora was giving her a cheeky smile and had to be held back by Ren to keep her from scooping up and running off with the five-year-old. Mina was simply grinning at the girl and was silently gloating over how she was gonna be living with her. And Pyrrha continued to simply smile at Eri and make her feel welcome.

And then there was Weiss. The ice queen. Easily the meanest girl at the table and believed she was easily above nearly all her piers, only seeing Pyrrha as a true equal. Her eyes were dead set on Eri as she sported a blank expression, almost as if she was trying to imitate Shoto or Ren. "I don't…see what the big deal is…" Weiss spoke almost robotically as parts of her face started to twitch. "She's just…a little…girl…"

"Uh Weiss…" Blake slowly turned her head to look at Weiss and noticed the twitching of not just her face, but also hand fingers as well. "Are you ok?"

"Yes…" Weiss breathing became a little heavy as Eri finally looked up at Weiss, tilting her head as she blinked at the heiress. "Just….fine…."

"Are you sure?" Yang asked with a skeptical look. "You look like you're in pain right now."

"Do you need to see the school nurse?" Ruby asked with a concerned tone.

"N-No! I just…she's just…just…" There was a brief moment of pure silence as Weiss looked Eri in the eyes…with Weiss' eyes soon sparkling like the sun. "THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!" Everyone instantly gained an expression of shock as Weiss suddenly scooped up Eri into her arms and started fawning over the little girl. "Oh you are just the most precious thing in the whole world!"

"Hehehehe." Eri giggled as Weiss quickly started to spoil her with attention.

"…" Everyone was absolutely silent. Even the stoic Ren, Shoto, and Fumikage's eyes were widen at the sight that practically felt like a once in a life time observation. It took a few moments until Jaune managed to be the first time to speak up. "You're all seeing what I'm seeing right?

"I am and I'm scared…" Ruby muttered as she looked at Weiss like she was a completely different person. Granted it was a better person, but it was still quite the shocker.

"The power of cuteness prevails!" Nora shouted as she rose her arms up into the air before stretching them out towards Weiss, attempting to snatch Eri away from the heiress. "Now give her to auntie Nora!"

"Over my dead body!" Weiss shouted as she pulled Eri away to keep Nora from stealing her.

"Hey! No hogging her!" Yang yelled as she stood up and rolled up her uniforms sleeves. "This means war!" And just like that the table was complete chaos as most of the girls started to fight over who got to have Eri with them.

"Perhaps Ozpin's decision has more drawbacks than expected…" Fumikage commented with a sweat drop.

"Now everyone let's try to..." Pyrrha tried to act as the voice of reason…but quickly gave into the chaos as well. "Oh who am I kidding I want to cuddle with her too. Gimme!"

"Men, prepare yourselves!" Jaune yelled out in worry as the chaos only got worse, Blake being the only girl not participating. "This'll get ugly!"

"WOULD YOU ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Katsuki yelled, his team sitting at a nearby table, towards the direction of the table the three teams were at. "I'M TRYING TO EAT!"

"Hey!" Weiss yelled as the fighting over Eri stopped immediately with Weiss covering Eri's innocent ears. "Don't use that sort of language around this sweet child!"

"…Maybe I didn't think this through all the way…" Izuku muttered.

Not even lunch time was gonna be peaceful.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL CLASS

"Hehehe, sorry about that Izuku…" Mina sheepishly apologized as IFMS arrived in their next class. This classroom looked like a typical health class with various diagrams of the human and faunus body over the walls, a plastic skeleton in the corner of the room, and plenty of cabinets that most likely contained various medical equipment. "Guess we got a little carried away…"

"That's a bit of an understatement." Fumikage bluntly said, causing Mina to flinch.

"I-It's alright Mina." Izuku stuttered a bit as he looked down at his team's desk. Due to the chaos the girls created at the lunchroom pretty much all eyes were on them and they received quite the scolding from the schools' cooks. "A-At least E-Eri had fun hehe…"

"Maybe you shouldn't bring her to the lunchroom anymore." Shoto suggested to his leader. "You could just eat with her in the dorm room.

"NO!" Ruby shouted from her teams table. "You have to bring her everyday Izuku! EVERYDAY!"

"…I'll just…ask Eri what she wants…" Izuku let out nervously.

"When is the damn teacher getting here?" Katsuki muttered impatiently. "Wanna get this class over and done with so we can get to combat class!"

"Oh right that's coming up next isn't it!" Ruby asked with an excited grin. "Oh I can't wait! Finally a class where I can show everyone just what I'm made of!"

"Now, now, settle down there class." An elderly woman's voice spoke up. Looking to the source everyone saw an elderly woman walk in room. She was about 3 foot 9 and wore a doctors uniform with her grey hair done up in a bun with a hair net over it with a little syringe holding up her bun and the old woman's cane was shaped like a giant syringe. "I'm sure you're all excited for next period but you'll have to get through this class first,"

The old lady then walked to the front of the class and stepped behind the desk, jumping onto a wheeled chair that she rose the height of to properly look over her class. "Good afternoon everyone, my name is Doctor Shuzenji, but you may call me Mrs. Shuzenji if you want," The teacher properly introduced herself to everyone. "Now then in this class I will be covering an essential skill you will all need as Huntsman and Huntresses. Medical experience." Ruby rose up her hand. "Yes young lady? What is your question?"

"So we'll be learning how to treat various injuries people may have?" Ruby asked, making sure she got the main gist of this course. "Like if they were hurt by the Grimm or something like that?"

"You are correct," Shuzenji nodded her head in confirmation. "Out in the field you may encounter people in desperate need of medical aid, whether it be pedestrians or your fellow huntsman and huntresses. They're life could be in your very hands."

"Well, glad to know there's no pressure…" Jaune nervously chuckled. What a way to start the first medical class of the year.

"Of course we're be getting into a little more than that." Shuzenji further elaborate as she pulled up a chart showing the various parts of the human and faunus body. "To learn how to treat the body you need to learn about the body itself, so we're also going to go into that territory. Including covering somethings involved in the birds and the bees, so I expect you all to act mature when we get to that."

After hearing this Yang's eyes widened as she whispered to her little sister. "Ruby…dad's given you the talk right?"

"The what?" Ruby questioned causing Yang to gain an expression of horror.

"Oh boy…"

COMBAT CLASS

Now this was the class that the most people were looking forward too.

Where they would learn to fight, spar with each other, and actually experience some action whether than just sitting down to listen to an hour-long lecture.

Finally having some fun with the school day.

Or at least…that's what they thought until Glynda said.

"There won't be any sparring today."

"WHAT?!"

"THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WE WON'T BE FIGHTING?!" Katsuki yelled in complete outrage, easily more pissed off than anyone else in the classroom which consisted of a large indoor arena with stands that the students were all sitting on, all with their combat outfits on and weapons at the ready, with Glynda standing on the stadium part of the arena looking over the class and seeing their various reactions to the news she just dropped. "THIS IS FUCKING COMBAT CLASS!"

"Yeah! The heck's going on?!" Yang yelled out, also not happy with the news. She's been looking forward to this all day. "I thought we were going to be kicking ass and taking names here!"

"I suggest you try and behave yourselves." Glynda warned everyone with an ice-cold tone with an incredibly stern edge. She then began pacing around the arena, looking over her students while holding her riding crop in a rather threatening manner as a way of keeping them quiet. "As I said there won't be any sparring today. But starting tomorrow there will be as well as other basic combat courses and lessons."

"If I may ask ma'am, if that's the case than why won't there be any of that today?" Izuku spoke up, trying to thing rationally about the situation at hand. He was sure there was a reasonable explanation for this. "Is it because it's our first day at Beacon? Is there something you need to tell us before we get into any knowledge about combat?"

"That's precisely the reason Mr. Midoriya." Glynda confirmed as she sent a nod to the green head. "Let me ask you children something, to those of you who went to one, what did you previous combat schools teach you in regards to being a huntsman?"

"Oh! Oh!" Ruby eagerly rose up her hand. "To protect this world from the Grimm!"

"Yes, that is the basic goal of all huntsman and huntresses…but it's far more complex than that." Glynda began explaining with many of the students raising eyebrows of interest. "Being a huntsman means much more than that."

"And what would that be Professor Goodwitch?" Pyrrha asked, legitimately curious about the answer to that.

"Well Ms. Nikkos, that isn't for me to answer." Glynda revealed much to everyone's confusion. The combat professor then walked off the arena and reached into a box she had placed there before class began and pulled out a small stack of papers before heading towards the stands where the students were sitting. "I will inform you all about this. For the first day of combat class for all four years here, it will be like this. There will not be any training until the second day. And it's not just for your class either that's going through this every year, all the other teams are as well."

"Get to the damn point!" Katsuki yelled as Glynda started handing out the blank sheets of paper to her class.

"You all chose the journey to become Huntsman for a reason." Glynda said as she had all eyes on her. "It could be for glory, a reason to travel the world, or something more personal. What I want you to do for the hour is think about your reason for becoming a Huntsman, and write it down on the piece of paper I provided. I will keep them for you to see again next year where I will want you to go over it again, our goals and aspirations can change with time, and you can use your past goals to reflect on how far you have come with your training, both physically and mentally."

'I think I understand what she means.' Izuku thought as he looked at the blank paper with a serious look. 'All Might is my inspiration for being a Hunstman, I want to be like him. Someone that can protect and save others with a smile on my face. But…is that all there is too it? Like she said goals and aspirations can change over time and with experience. My perspective could change…I could change…once I'm done with Beacon I could end up becoming a brand new person.'

Realizing there was much more to think about with this, Izuku escaped into his head in thought as he stared at the paper.

Meanwhile others found answers of their own much easier.

'To find answers.' Yang thought with narrowed eyes.

'To become the strongest!' Katsuki shouted mentally.

'To fix my families name,' Weiss thought as she looked up at the ceiling.

'…To right a wrong.' Blake thought solemnly.

'I want…..I want to be the hero…' Jaune thought rather anxiously.

'…To be just like her…' Ruby wrote down with a sad smile.

And over the hour students would hand Glynda their answers as they each came to their own conclusions.

GRIMM STUDIES

And so after the rather uneventful but still important first day of combat class and finally onto the last hour of the day. After this the students would finally be free and be able to enjoy the rest of the day and prepare for tomorrow. All that was standing in their way of that…

"Monsters! Demons! Prowlers of the night! Yes the creatures of grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey. Haha!"

Was the most boring teacher in the entire school. Professor Port. Port was a man in early old age and he wore a double-breasted burgundy suit with gold piping and buttons. His pants he wears tucked into olive boots, similar in appearance and construction to cavalry boots. He also has grey hair and a bushy gray mustache and had more of a chubby build, portly if you will.

And the only sounds he got in response to his little joke was Ruby waking up after falling sleep to his lecture. "And, uh…you shall to after graduating from this prestigious academy!" Port awkwardly stumbled a bit from his classes less than enthusiastic response. "Now as I was saying, Vale, along with the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces. That's where we come in. Huntsman. Huntresses~" Port clicked his tongue in a flirty manner for emphasizes.

"Hehe…" Yang let out a dry chuckle.

"individuals have sworn to protect those who can not protect themselves!" Port continued with his lecture. "From what you ask? Why, the very world!"

"Zzzzzzz…." Mina softly snored with her head on the desk. Dark Shadow then came out of Fumikage's body and stretched its arm out towards Mina and flicked her in the forehead to wake her up. "Ow!"

"That is what you are training to become." Port said as he looked over his entire class. "But first, I shall tell you all a story. A story of a young, handsome man. Me! When I was a boy…"

"Hehe…" Ruby silently giggled as she doodled something down on a piece of paper, not paying attention to the story at all. She then showed off her drawing to the rest of her team revealing a rather crude drawing of Port with stink lines coming off him.

Weiss shook her head at Ruby's immaturity as the rest of her team laughed, causing Port to clear his throat harshly to get them to calm down.

And as Port told his story, Weiss' anger towards Ruby, her teams leader, grew as Ruby continued to act out in childish manners from playing with her school supplies, dozing off again, and even picking at her nose!

Weiss was just about at her limit.

"The morale of this story," Port finished up as Weiss was shaking with anger. "A true Huntsman must be honorable, a true huntsman must be dependable, a true huntsman must be strategic, well educated, and wise. So, who among you believes they are the embodiment of these traits?"

Weiss quickly rose her hand, with Katsuki also raising his a second after Weiss. "I do sir!" Weiss told Port with a frustrated tone.

"Me!" Katsuki roared with a fire in his eyes.

"Now this is interesting, you both believe yourselves to be true huntsman?" Port asked with a rather amused tone. "But I believe it was Ms. Schnee who rose her hand up first. So young lady, go get changed into your combat gear and I'll have an opponent for you to face and see if what you're saying is true."

"FUCKING HELL!" Katsuki slammed his fist down on the desk in front of him, frightening most of the class.

"Deep breathes man," Eijiro told Katsuki with a grin.

And so after taking a quick trip to the locker room, Weiss was ready with her combat outfit and rapier in hand as Port had some staff members bring a rather large cage into the room. So everyone watched in anticipate as Weiss stood across the room from the cage locking eyes with whatever was in there.

"Go Weiss!" Yang cheered.

"Fight well!" Blake waved around a little flag that said RWBY.

"Represent team RWBY!" Ruby cheered her teammate on loudly with a raised fist.

"Ruby!" Weiss scolded her leader with an annoyed look, making the silver eyed girl flinch. "I am trying to focus!"

"S-Sorry…" Ruby lowered her head a bit.

"Now then!" Port yelled as he picked up his weapon, which seemed to be a combination of an axe and a musket. "Let the match begin!" Swinging the blade on the lock, Port opened the cage to reveal what was inside.

A grimm. A Boarbatusks to be specific. Boarbatusk was a boar-like grim with bone armor covering its back, legs, and face. It had four blood red eyes and long curled up tusk on both sides of its face.

'HE BROUGHT A GRIMM INTO THE CLASS?!' Many students mentally shouted in unison.

The Boarbatusk wasted no time in getting out of its cage and charged at Weiss with a ferocious snarl. Weiss reacted quickly and rolled to the side to dodge while slashing at the creatures side as it passed by. But the Boarbatusk's armor proved to strong and the Grimm didn't even flinch from the attack.

"Hoho!" Port let out as he kept his eyes on the fight. "Weren't expecting that were you?"

"Hang in there Weiss!" Ruby let out towards the Heiress as Weiss growled a bit in irritation.

Trying to ignore her leaders childish encourage, Weiss thrusted her rapier forward as the Boarbatusk charged at her again. But as Weiss was about to strike the Grimm the Boarbatusk turned its head and used its tusk to capture Weiss' weapon with them with the heiress grunted as she struggled to keep her grip on her weapon and get it free.

"Yeah Weiss show it whose boss!" Ruby rose her fist up.

"Uh, R-Ruby," Izuku whispered to her from the row above. "Maybe you should just let her concentrate."

Weiss briefly turned her head to glare at Ruby, but this gave the Grimm the chance to take her off guard and make her lose grip of her weapon, allowing the Boarbatusk to throw it to the end of the room while striking Weiss and sending her back, further away from her weapon. "Now what will you do without your weapon?" Port asked out as he enjoyed the spectacle in front of him. He always enjoyed these little moments in class.

Weiss looked up just in time to see the Boarbatusk charging at her again. The heiress was able to react in time and dodged out of the way, causing the Grimm to charge into the wall and fall onto the floor, exposing its armorless belly as a result. Weiss took the opportunity to run to the other side of the room and retrieve her weapon. "Weiss!" Ruby once again called out to her teammate. "Go for its belly! There's no armor underneath!"

"STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!" Weiss suddenly snapped at Ruby, causing the scythe wielder to recoil a bit.

When the Boarbatusk got up it proceeded to curl up into a ball and roll right at Weiss at top speed. But Weiss was ready as she created a blue glyph in front of her to block the attack and knock the Grimm onto its back once more. When the Grimm was down Weiss jumped up and created a black glyph under her feet that she used to launch herself right at the Grimm as she thrusted her weapon forward, piercing it right through the heart. The Boarbatusk let out a few squeals before it went silent and motionless, it's body quickly started to disintegrate.

"Bravo! Bravo!" Port cheered along with a few other students clapping their hands. But Ruby simply looked at her teammate with a sad frown, her head lowered a bit. "It seems we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntress in training. I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Please remember to cover the assigned readings, and stay vigilant! Class dismissed!"

Weiss was the first one to leave, sending Ruby an ice-cold glare before stomping off.

"Seesh…" Jaune let out as he and many other's eyes were on Weiss. "What's her problem?"

"Tsk, I could have taken it out faster…" Katsuki let out with his team sweat dropping in response.

"Weiss! Weiss!" Once class was over Ruby was quick to chase after Weiss as the heiress separated herself from the team. "Wait up!"

"What is it?!" Weiss turned to face Ruby with an expression that showed she wasn't happy to see her leader.

"What's wrong with you?" Ruby asked with a worried a concerned tone. "Why are you being-"

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you!" Weiss yelled back, cutting Ruby off and causing the younger girl to flinch. "You're supposed to be a leader but all you've been is a nuisance!"

"What?" Ruby let out as she looked Weiss right in the eye. "What'd I do?!"

"That's it! You've done absolutely nothing to earn your position!" Weiss stated while pointing a judgmental finger towards her so called leader. "Back in the forest you acted like a child! And you've only continued to do so!"

"Weiss where is this coming from?" Ruby asked in a quiet tone, Weiss' words stinging quite a bit. "What happened to all the talk about working together? I thought you believe in acting like a team."

"Not a team lead by you." Weiss specified causing Ruby to frown. "I've studied. And trained. And quite frankly, I deserve better." Ruby tried to reach out to Weiss but the heiress turned her back to Ruby and crossed her arms. "Ozpin made a mistake."

And with that, Weiss walked off. Ruby lowered her head in shame as Weiss' words replayed in her head. She supposed…Weiss did have a point. She did goof off a lot in the various class throughout the day. Falling asleep multiple times, doodling stuff, trying to copy Weiss' notes…maybe she was right…

"Hey," Suddenly Ruby was brought out of her negative mindset as a hand was placed on her shoulder. Looking, she saw it was none other than Izuku who gave her a kind smile. "Let me talk to her." And Izuku proceeded to go off in Weiss' direction. And before Ruby could say anything-

"Hm, now that didn't seem to go very well."

Weiss was currently seen storming through the hallways of Beacon, looking for any teachers that might know where Ozpin was or hopefully Ozpin himself. She needed to talk with the headmaster about the whole situation with her teams leader and hopefully right a serious wrong. Her team needed a real leader. Her.

"Weiss!"

"Grrrr…" Weiss let out in frustration as she turned around and snapped out. "Would you just leave me alone al-" But Weiss cut herself off when she saw that calling out to her was not Ruby, but Izuku. "Oh, uh, Izuku right?

"Y-Yeah, that's right," Izuku tried to keep his composer while talking to Weiss. "I was just wondering if you were ok after…all that?"

"Yes, I am fine." Weiss simply nodded her head keeping herself calm and composed. But a thought did cross her mind as she faced Izuku. Despite his rather…average looking appearance, he certainly proved himself to be a worthy peer in the forest yesterday. Taking down a Leo was nothing to scoff at. So maybe she could get a second opinion on her little issue, to help back up her case to Ozpin. "Say Izuku, could I ask you something?"

"Uh, yeah sure," Izuku had a good idea of what Weiss was going to ask and played along. He wanted to talk with her about it anyway and thought this could be a good way to get it going. "What about?"

"Well…do you think I should've been the leader of team RWBY?" Weiss didn't waste anytime in asking and got straight to the point. "You've seen my skills, and you've certainly seen Ruby's childish antics. Surely you agree that Ozpin made a mistake in making her the leader instead of me right?"

"Yes, I've seen all that." Izuku nodded his head as he thought about the best way to respond to Weiss and hopefully get through to her about this whole thing. "But I've also seen other things from you two. With Ruby I've seen that despite her age she's strong, has great reflexes and can think on the fly, and his very tenacious. You've seen how she and the rest of your team worked together to take down the Nevermore right?"

"I…suppose that's true…" Weiss slowly said, not feeling she could argue with that statement. While Ruby did have talent, she still acted like a complete child who rushed into things. "But I clearly have much more experience than her! She's done nothing to act like a leader and just seems to goof off in class!"

"Y-Yeah, t-though to be fair my teammate M-Mina did that a bit as well…" Izuku stuttered with a sheepish smile in an attempt to defend Ruby to show she wasn't the only one doing that sort thing. A few teams had members that did that too. "And well…y-yes you a-are very s-strong, sk-skilled and smart…"

Normally Weiss would have accepted the compliments to her with egotistical pride, but she narrowed her eyes as she picked up on Izuku's tone. "I'm sensing a but here…" Weiss' look practically dared Izuku to go on and say what else he had to say about her.

At first Izuku flinched a bit, but after taking a deep breath he steeled his nerves and put on a rather serious expression that took Weiss off guard a bit. It was the same look he had while fighting the Leo. "But you're also mean, self-centered, and just seem to label people after just a day." Izuku stated while looking Weiss right in the eye. The heiress let out an offended scoff and was about to rebuttal but was stopped as Izuku spoke up again. "It's only been a day and you already written her off as nothing but a child."

"Well can you blame me?" Weiss retorted as she glared at Izuku. "Heck she's only 15-years-old!"

"Than that shows how skilled she really is if Ozpin allowed her to come ahead like that." Izuku made his own argument about that. People don't just skip grades for nothing. If someone like Ozpin thought Ruby was skilled enough at her age to enter Beacon than that said something. "We're all new to Beacon, so we're all equals."

"Oh well if that's the case than why do you deserve to be leader of your own team?" Weiss decided to use Izuku's logic against him. "Why isn't everyone the leader if we're all equal? Why even bother having teams?"

"…To be honest, I don't know why I was made leader. And to be frank, I don't think I deserve it." Weiss' eyes widened at Izuku's words as well as his tone. He spoke softer, speaking right through the heart as he starred at his open hand. "I'm…anxious, I get nervous a lot, I-I'm socially awkward, and I'm afraid that if I make one wrong decision I could let everyone down. I'm terrified of being the leader of my team but…I'm gonna try my best."

'A true Huntsman is must be honorable, a true huntsman must be dependable, a true huntsman must be strategic, well educated, and wise.'

"Those traits Port said all Huntsman must have, I don't believe I embody them…but I'm gonna try and work my way to that point." Izuku said with nothing but raw determination that Weiss found herself entranced in as she took in all his words. "I don't know my teammates that well…but I'm going to work on that. I want to be someone they can count on, as a leader…and as a friend. You know…I think that's the point of forming teams in the first place."

"Huh?" Weiss rose an eyebrow, genuinely curious. "What do you mean?"

"It's like Port said, the four kingdoms are safe havens for our world, like how are teammates can be our own safe haven." Izuku began explaining as he smiled at Weiss. "Each kingdom can't just think about themselves, they have to think about the other kingdoms as well. And we can't just think about ourselves, we have to consider our whole team, to build on each other and grow stronger together. Weiss, this whole time you've just been thinking about what you want and you think you deserve you've completely neglected your other teammates. You've already written Ruby off and haven't paid any mind to Yang or Blake at all, have you?"

"W-Well…" Weiss found herself stuttering a bit. She was quickly losing ground in this argument. "Not…entirely…"

Izuku let out a sigh and walked up to Weiss and put a hand on her shoulder. "Weiss, you need to think about more than just yourself. You're part of a team, a larger whole." Izuku told her with a soft smile. "Even if you aren't the one leading it, you can still leave a big impact. By being there for them, helping them, and just getting to know them. So before you judge them just…try and get to know them a bit, ok? You might be surprised."

"…..Yeah…..ok." Weiss nodded after a few moments of silence. A lot of thoughts were currently swirling through her head, and she had a lot to think about…but maybe Izuku brought up a few good points. "Hey Izuku…thanks."

"Anytime." Izuku told her sincerely. Soon after that, Izuku's suddenly shifted back into his usual awkwardly self and pointed a thumb to the other end of the hallway. "W-W-Well I better g-get back to m-my dorm room. D-Don't want E-Eri or the other's worrying a-about me, hehe…I'll t-tell her you s-said hi,"

"Hehe, I understand." Weiss actually giggled a bit. This was the same guy from just a few seconds ago? Feels like he has a switch in him for this sorta thing. "I'll see you later."

And with that the two went their separate ways.

While things are on a bit of a shaky stuff for a few, things were quickly beginning to look up.

And boom, another chapter done.

This was mainly served to introduce each class, not get into them too deeply for now, other than Peach since she was never shown in canon so I wanted to show her off a bit more than the others, and Ports for obvious reason. Each class is gonna get more times to shine in the future. Especially when it comes to Glynda and Aizawa.

Essentially giving this whole thing a jump start and giving a little focus everywhere.

But things are just beginning to pick up so make sure to fav, follow, leave a review and stay tune for the next chapter
