I don't own Fire emblem awakening, all rights go to Nintendo and intelligent system.
"Hmm, Robin." Say'ri stirred and mumbled when she no longer felt a familiar warmth against her backside. She yawned as she opened her eyes and turned around in her bed roll to see that Robin wasn't there to hold her when she was waking up. "Strange."
Just yesterday, Say'ri had taken the time to comfort Robin over his mistake he made. His bastard of a father had mine controlled him and forced him to steal the fire emblem from Chrom. Robin had felt so guilty, he refused to talk to anyone else but Say'ri and Chrom.
When Say'ri went to her and Robin's tent last night, she saw him packing his bag, saying he's leaving, so that way he wouldn't be a danger to his friends. At First, Say'ri glared at Robin, then slapped him, telling him that he was still the man she fell in love with. And she reassured him that by removing his cloak. And then his pants.
Say'ri simply sat up and held the covers close to her naked body, running her hand in between her sore legs. She smiled at the memory last night, Robin pinning her down to the bed, his passionate kisses, and it all leading up to a wonderful climax far better then their wedding night.
'Tis strange that Robin would simply leave me in the morning.' She looked over and saw his packed bag was still next to their bed roll. At least he didn't leave.
She got up and quickly dressed herself to walk around camp in search of either Robin or Morgan.
Walking through the cool morning air in camp always soothed Say'ri. Mostly because it offered her an escape from the dangers of war.
"Mother!" Say'ri turned and smiled at her pride and joy walking up to her. Morgan was such a sweet child, taking after her father in tactics, but taking after her in the looks department. "Good morning."
"Good morning, Fie!" Say'ri hugged Morgan and kissed her on the forehead. Something that the old Say'ri would've opposed was showing affection. It's a good thing Morgan was super clingy. "So how did my little girl sleep last night?"
"Oh, fine." Said Morgan. "But I was worried about Father. You saw him back at the Plegian castle. You think he's okay?"
Say'ri simply sighed. "I'm not too sure. Your father is good at hiding his emotions. But I'm sure we can help him out."
"I hope so." Said Morgan. "I saw him walking out of camp. Said he was going to the field to take his mind off of things. If you want, maybe you can talk some sense into father."
Say'ri simply smiled at her daughter. "Don't worry, Fie. I'll make sure Robin is okay."
Say'ri gave her daughter a kiss goodbye before walking off to the field near camp. And low and behold there was robin, standing right in the middle of the field. With Lucina pointing her sword at him. 'WHAT?!'
Say'ri didn't have time to think as she got out her katana and prepared to attack. Just as Lucina was about to swing her Falchion down to strike at robin, she was stopped by Say'ri's sword, as the Chon'sin Princess glared daggers at Lucina.
"Aunt Say'ri?!" Lucina backed up from Robin.
"You don't get to call me that anymore!" Say'ri readied herself for battle. "Explain why you were about to strike my husband!"
Lucina tried her best to keep a brave face, but seeing Say'ri ready to kill was making it hard for her. "Robin has already proven himself as the traitor, and I must kill him before it's too late."
"I will NOT let you take him away from me!" Say'ri gripped her katana and starting breathing deeply. Just she was about ready to act in her aggression, Robin held her shoulder.
"It's okay, Say'ri, I told Lucina to do it." Robin sighed as she held Say'ri back.
Her eyes went wide as she turned to see her husband, her stupid husband, say something so stupid. She didn't care what he held inside him, he was still the Robin she fell for.
"I refuse to let that happen!" Say'ri glared at her husband. "You can't do this to me!" A tear started running down the Chon'sin princess's cheek. "You... you can't swear you love to me, and then abandon me! You can't!"
Robin tried to reason with her. Emphasis on tried. "Say'ri, I know it's difficult, but it's for the best for the shepher-"
"No!" She snapped as she stomped her foot to the ground. "I won't let you do something so foolish as sacrifice yourself. Robin, you mean to much to me. To Morgan. I can't let you leave us both." She then turned to Lucina and gripped her katana. "And I will slaughter any one who ever dares to take my family away."
"No one's slaughtering anyone." A stern voice said as Say'ri turned her head and saw Chrom himself walking up to them.
"F-father!" Lucina stammered. "I-it's not what it looks like."
"Relax Lucina." Chrom said as both Lucina and Say'ri lowered their sword. "I watched everything from that bush over there." Chrom pointed to the bush they were in front of.
"How did I not see that?" Say'ri asked herself.
"Listen, I understand what's going on, but we can't turn on each like this." Said Chrom. "If we do, that means Validar wins." Chrom then turned to Lucina. "Lucina, I know you would never hurt someone you love. Tell me, would you be willing to harm the man whom you loved."
Say'ri eyes widened at what Chrom said. While it was a rumor that Lucina had crushed on Robin, she didn't think it was true. But judging by the young Princess's lips quivering, maybe she might be a little more dense she may want to admit.
"I-I- I can't do it!" Lucina sheathed her sword as she finally broke down crying. "I-I'm so so-sorry Robin." Lucina fell to her knees. "I-I wasn't thinking cl-clearly. I only wa-wanted to pr-protect my fa-father."
Robin simply smiled as he bent down to Lucina's level and held her shoulder. "It's alright Lucina. To be honest the blame is on me. I was willing to throw my life away without even thinking of how it may effect others."
Lucina simply gave Robin a tight hug and cried on his shoulder. "Let it all out Luci." Chrom smiled at seeing his best friend comfort his daughter.
Once Lucina finally let go, she stared at Say'ri, who sheathed her own katana. "I'm so sorry, Say'ri. I was almost ready to take away a good man from you. If you don't forgive, I'll understand."
All Say'ri could do was simply help Lucina up on her feet. "Fie, tis true that I am mad that you were willing to kill my love. But knowing because you were trying to protect you father makes me a little less angry at you."
"All's will that ends well right?" Robin suggested with a smile.
"Almost." Say'ri then slapped robin across the cheek. "Fie, don't you ever try to do something so stupid like that again!" She narrowed her eyes at Robin as he quivered in fear of her. "Now we're good." She then kissed her husband on the lips b
"Come on, let's go get Morgan." Robin rubbed his red cheek as Say'ri wrapped her arm around his waist and the two walked off.
Chrom simply turned to Lucina and said "by the way, you're grounded."
I have a good feeling if Awakening had a little more time in the oven, we could've seen scenarios like this happen during Lucina's judgement. Probably. Not really. Anyways, please leave a review. Please leave a review.
