Chapter 2.5
*Hours before the assault on Club M*
within the halls of the castle in the capital of Lugenica, the King was having an important meeting with the Nobles to discuss the chaotic events that recently transpired. "Noble houses of Lugenica, I assume you are aware of the events that happened... massive towers coming into existence... the sun being destroyed...?"
"Yes Your Majesty." All the Nobles said in unison.
"I've been informed that several towns have either been disappeared or fused with these strange buildings and that most of the land has been transformed into a desert."
The King then stood up from his throne "I do not know what happened to this world, but we must act now! We need to stop this madness before it spreads any further!"
One Noble stood up and said, "But how, we don't even know what caused this-"
"Oh but I do!" The King said, "It has to be those damn Witches! Who else has the power to cause a calamity like this!"
"The Seven Witches!?" Several Nobles shouted in unison.
"S-sire that's suicide..." A Noble spoke up.
The King glared at the Noble furiously.
"They are too powerful, they would annihilate us if we try to confront them!"
"So what?!" The King roared. "You dare speak against me!? You are a coward!"
Suddenly a new voice spoke up "I believe that won't be necessary..." walking into the palace was a familiar man in a cowboy hat and chewing on a toothpick... the Sheriff.
"Who the hell are you! Why do you disturb this meeting!" The King yelled while the Sherrif simply said "Hey hey hey calm down their buckaroo, I understand your confusion." Then after briefly bowing the Sheriff continued "You can think of me as an ambassador from the other world, one that exists parallel to this one."
"Parallel world!?" One of the Nobles exclaimed.
"That's right, you see, the apocalyptic event that occurred caused our world to merge with yours, and the one who caused it wasn't the witches, it was the work of someone else. Someone, I wouldn't say stronger, but he is far more dangerous."
The King looked relatively intrigued...
"Who is this man you speak of "
In response, the Sheriff smiled "A powerful and dangerous psychopathic criminal from my world known as 'Hank J. Wimbleton'."
The King said "So you're saying this man... Hank... a mere criminal, is the one who caused this chaos to my kingdom? And you expect us to believe that?"
The Sheriff then looked at the King directly in the eyes "You see there are two reasons why you might want to believe me. One is because it would be foolish to underestimate that man, and the second is that I'm holding a gun on you."
"Wha..." The King was visibly shocked.
The Sheriff took out his revolver pointing at the king, then pointing it up in the air and firing it once, causing a loud boom. Scaring the Nobles and King in the room.
"W-what kind of magic is this." One Noble said.
"As I said, I come from a parallel and far more advanced world... now here's the deal, you listen to what I and my organization have to say to you and help us hunt down Hank, and we grant you access to our fancy weaponry and such... but if y'all are uncooperative I'm afraid little Ol' me and the Agency will have to gun down every person in this room until we get the answers we need."
The King looked at the Sheriff for a few seconds, then he nodded.
"Very well, I accept your terms."
The Sheriff smiled and pulled back his pistol holster.
The King said "Hmmph if you think this Hank person will last long... I already have a man at the ready who is stronger than every criminal... the Legendary Sword Saint! Sir Giles!"
The Sheriff then looked at the King and said "Was he a young man, green eyes, red hair?"
The King said "Yes, yes that's him! You know of him!?"
The Sheriff smiled and said "King... I'm afraid your 'great hero' is already dead."
The King looked horrified "N-no that can't b-"
"SIRE!" A messenger slammed into the room "THE SWORD SAINT... SIR GILES! HE'S DEAD!"
The King fell silent, looking at the Sheriff, who shrugged and said "What did I say... Hank is not one to be underestimated... I'd wager you're about to find out just how true that is."
After the meeting the Sheriff was walking out of the hall before pulling out a tablet and calling the Auditor "Boss... we got 'em, you were right it was surprisingly easy to get them under our control."
The Auditor spoke up and said the other end replied "Good... good work, I didn't expect you to succeed so quickly."
The Sheriff responded, "Yeah well with a bit of 'persuasion' the King should be quite compliant."
"Excellent, also... that King and his nobles talked about powerful 'Witches' correct?"
"That's what they called them... yeah, they mentioned something about how sending an army to face them would be suicide."
"Intriguing... I would like to know more about these so-called 'Witches'... they could act as the key to assets that could help us finally eliminate Hank."
"Alrighty then, I'll have my team search for some information about em'..."
"Very good..." after finishing the conversation the Auditor closed the call
*Hours after the activation of the drive*
"Come again?" Minerva said to the mysterious figure that stood before her... "I said my name is Jebediah Christoff," as he said this he took off his glasses revealing his black and red eyes. "And I'm looking for a man known as Hank Wimbleton."
Minerva was still confused, but also cautious. She thought to herself "Hank? Who is this Hank person, and why do you want to talk to him?"
Jebediah said "Hank... Hank is an incredibly dangerous and violent man, who has been killing everyone that crosses his path, including me."
Minerva was surprised, she thought to herself "Does this man mean to say that he can raise himself from the dead...?" Before speaking up "Wait... do you mean to say you've died before?"
Jebediah said "Yes... but that's a secret for now..."
Minerva was shocked, and had no idea what to say, "I hope this man doesn't become a threat... even if I can overpower him with my magic he could just come back"
"Do you have any idea what happened to the world?" She said to Jebus.
Jebediah looked at Minerva, and said "So I'm guessing you're not Nevadian... so where are you from?"
Minerva said, "Wait so you've never heard of me?"
Jebediah simply gave her a confused look, and said "No, I haven't."
Minerva then said "I'm the Witch of Wraith! Minerva the great and powerful!"
Jebediah was confused and said "I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, but at least it answers my question somewhat... alright, so basically a device called the Improbability Drive has been used as a weapon in a last-ditch attempt to kill Hank, I advised against it from the lack of knowledge we had on it. The device ended up breaking reality causing all of the most improbable of events to occur, and it looks like it also fused Nevada with this world. This whole thing is bad news for the rest of the world because of its unpredictable nature."
Minerva was shocked, and said, "Wait a minute... did you say Improbability Drive?"
Jebediah nodded and said "Yes, that's right... wait how could you possibly have heard about it?"
Minerva said, "Someone I knew had a book that could tell the future... however the book ended up stopping at a certain point, repeating lines about Reality and the Improbability Drive."
Jebediah was stunned. "Wait, what?"
Minerva continued, saying "That's all we knew about it... that whatever it was would end up causing the world to break."
Intrigued Jebus said "Fascinating... I'd love to hear more, but unfortunately, I need to go now, I have to find and combat Hank before he does something to fester this madness."
Minerva said "Wait what about me! I could help you... I want to help mend this world and the people in it!"
Jebediah said "You can't just jump into the middle of a fight between the two of us and expect to make a difference, and besides... I already have someone else helping me."
Then Jebediah pointed his hands at the dead people in the town and blue energy exited his hands and entered them... suddenly the dead began to rise up as Zombies.
Minerva was shocked "Wait you can revive the dead as well?"
"Only as Zombies, mindless husks that follow orders and attack anyone they see. I'm afraid you'll have to stay here until I finish dealing with Hank."
Minerva was frustrated, and said "Fine... how about this?"
Jebus raised an eyebrow.
"I know of a few other Witches like me, they are also extremely powerful, I will tell them about this Hank person, and I'm sure together we can do something to stop him.
Jebediah thought about it for a moment, and then said "Sure... go on ahead." Suddenly Jebus flew into the air and disappeared along with his zombies.
Minerva sighed and said, "Well, time to try and start another Witches Tea Party..."
*7 hours after the assault on Club M*
The Auditor was looking through a monitor, overseeing an experiment in order to create the greatest weapon for the Agency... he watched a familiar clown got strapped down onto a table, and saw as a device was placed inside his skull... a device called a portable improbability drive. A device that could allow the user to control any situation and bend the laws of physics.
Suddenly the Auditor received a message from the Sheriff "Heres a file of the info mah team gathered about these Witches."
The Auditor took the file and began to read it, before looking back at the monitor "If this experiment is proven to be successful, we could have a way to capture and combat these 'Witches' as well"
After the device was fully attached to Tricky's brain the machines in the room closed his head back shut... He watched as the clown's eyes rolled back into his head and he passed out as the device activated Suddenly the zombie clown's body started convulsing and shaking violently. Before stopping completely, and a few seconds later the clown's body went limp. Suddenly Tricky started shaking again... but this time he didn't seem bothered by it as he stood up.
The device continued to activate and Tricky's body began to glow with a pale red light, that grew brighter and brighter till the undead clown took control of it, he began to laugh as he materialized two items, a slab mask, and a stop sign. He put the mask on his face and twirled around his strange weapon of choice.
The clown spoke in an almost glitchy voice "I'm coming for ya... Haaaaannk!
