Hey you guys!

First off; thank you so much for sharing your ideas, I never thought that would happen, actually.
So that definitely made my day.

Second; I'm sorry it took me this long to upload here but I was struggling with depression, once again, and that immediately backfires on my writing and my self-esteem.
But I'm feeling a bit better now, so here we are.
The first real one-shot of this adventure.

This idea was provided by 'Guest' on FanFiction, thank you so much!
I gave it a personal twist, though, but this is what popped up in my head after seeing your list of ideas.
Hope you, and the rest of you out there, like it. :)

Till next time, my friends.
Stay safe out there.

Biker Mice, meet Halloween.

"Behind you! He's behind you!", Vinnie yelled at the TV, almost bouncing off the couch while holding one of the pillows in a tight grip.
Of course, it goes without saying that the character in the movie he was currently watching didn't hear him, which was almost a miracle considering the quite impressive volume he managed to produce.
"Come on, it's obvious that he's standing behind that door, gal! Turn aroun… wait, what?! No! Don't look in the closet! Look behind you! BEHIND YOU!"
Modo, who sat next to him on the couch, flinched under his shrill voice and he looked up from his James Bomb book with a furrowed brow, both his ears twitching.
"Can you please keep the decibel level down, bro? You're making my ears bleed."

Vinnie either didn't hear him or just merely ignored his grey-furred bro, as he had his red eyes glued to the screen, wide open in disbelief due to the stupidity of this movie character.
"Stop asking if anyone's there, just TURN THE FUCK AROUND! Geez, how hard can it be?!"
Modo shared a look with Throttle, who was reading a biker magazine in the big comfortable chair in the corner of Charley's small yet cozy living room.
The tan-furred mouse shrugged, using his index finger to tap against his forehead.
"He lost it", he mouthed.
"Obviously", Modo mouthed back and he glanced back at Vinnie, who was almost tearing the pillow apart in frustration.

The thought that letting him watch a horror movie was the new definition of a bad idea crossed his mind for a brief moment, but he then shrugged, too.
At least the guy was occupied, instead of whining that he was bored or irritating them with something as stupid as a burping contest and Modo focussed his attention back on his book.
Oblivious to their little tête-à-tête, Vinnie now leaped off the couch and after performing a flawless powerslide on his knees, he grabbed the TV with both hands.
"Your foolishness is going to get you killed! Is that what you want? Huh? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!", and he pressed his nose against the screen.

*DING DONG*

Easily distracted as he was, Vinnie looked up from the tv a bit surprised, and his red eyes darted over to the clock that hung on the wall.
As expected, it was already past six, which meant that the garage was closed for business.
Then why was someone ringing the bell?
For a moment, he was racking his brain to find a logical explanation for this mystery, but he then suddenly had this revelatory thing called an epiphany, telling him that he really didn't care.
And thus, he shrugged and focussed his attention back on the movie, only to see that the murderer now slowly emerged from the shadows behind the door.
The bell already forgotten again, the white-furred mouse squeaked, bouncing on his knees as he pointed at the screen.
"Aaarrghh, there he is! Run bitch, RUN!"

*DING DONG*

"Ugh, come on… CHARLEY! There's someone at the door!", Vinnie yelled without taking his gaze away from the television, vexed by this constant disturbance and that while the movie finally reached its summit of suspense, regardless of its stupidity.
But instead of Charley's somewhat melodic voice, it was Modo's heavy one that answered.
"She ain't here."
While keeping half an eye on the television, Vinnie partially turned his head in his grey-furred bro's direction.
"Then where is she?"
"Something with buying candy."
That took Vinnie's full attention and he shot his bro a puzzled look.
"Candy? But she never eats can…"

*DING DONG*

"OKAY, OKAY! Calm your tits, geez", and Vinnie scrambled to his feet.
"Don't forget your helmet, bro", Throttle pointed out without looking up from his magazine.
Still softly cursing under his breath, Vinnie snatched his helmet off the table and stomped down the stairs to the garage.
After putting his helmet on, he yanked the door open, all ready to give whoever was standing on the doorstep hell for interrupting his first horror movie experience.

"Trick or treat!"

Vinnie's eyes grew big and he almost immediately slammed the door with a loud bang.
Then, he turned around on his heels and sprinted back up the stairs with dangerous speed, almost tripping over his feet.
Using his shoulder, he burst through the door to the living room, making it slam into the wall with so much force that the doorknob went straight through the cheap wallpaper and wooden plate, but he barely noticed.
"Squad, ten hut!", he cried, and he dove behind the couch.

Immediately alarmed by Vinnie's behavior, Throttle just threw his weight forward and after a somewhat clumsy head roll, he landed next to Vinnie behind the couch whilst Modo tossed his book over his shoulder before he practically catapulted himself over the backrest.
"Sitrep, now!", Throttle barked, grabbing his gun.
Vinnie took a deep breath as he too whipped out his beloved ray gun.
"Three unidentified creatures, probably originating from Karbunkle's lab."
"Ordnance?"
"Unknown artillery. Quite frankly, I've never seen weapons like that before", Vinnie said as he pushed himself up and after peeking over the edge of the couch, he made himself small again.
"They're small, though. Like half our size."

"Now what's that cheese face up to this time?", Modo grumbled, his eye glowing red as he activated the laser weapon in his bionic arm.
Vinnie shrugged while loading his weapon with a loud click.
"No prizes for guessing, man. It's always the same. Eternal destruction of the Biker Mice From Mars."
"Yeah, that sounds like blubberbutt alright. Though one thing's bugging me…", Throttle mused out loud, scratching his chin with the barrel of his gun.
"Oh yeah? What's that?"
"Why on Mars did they use the doorbell?"

*DING DONG*

Being on edge as they were, all three mice nearly hit the ceiling, but things got even worse when they suddenly heard someone coming in through the backdoor with the worst timing ever.
Someone very dear to them.
"I'll get it!", Charley yelled from the bottom of the stairs, and thanks to their very well-developed hearing, they could hear that she was already making her way over to the front door.
The mice shared a quick yet horrified look before they came into action, Vinnie being the first.
"No, Charley, wait!"

He jumped over the couch, soon followed by Modo and Throttle, but in his hurry to get downstairs, the white-furred mouse tripped over his tail and fell face forward on the floor.
Since his two beloved brothers were only two steps behind him, they, in turn, tripped over the white-furred youngster, causing Modo almost to fly out of the window whilst Throttle did his very best to stop himself from rolling down the stairs.

But Vinnie was already back on his feet again and after leaping over Throttle, who laid on his stomach on the first steps of the stairs catching his breath, he landed on the banister.
Using his tail to keep his balance, the white-furred mouse slid down with bent knees, only to see that Charley was about to open the door.
"Charley, no!"

Vinnie dove in the air and right before Charley could lay her hand on the door handle, he tackled her like some professional football player.
Severely startled by being suddenly knocked over by a very heavy, though fluffy Martian Mouse, Charley let out a loud shriek and the bag she was holding slipped through her fingers.
As she and Vinnie rolled through the garage, all thanks to the speed with which the white-furred mouse had crashed into her, the bag smashed against the wall.

Candy rained down on the cement floor with bangs so loud, they almost sounded like gunshots, or well, to those who had the hearing of a Martian Cave Mouse, that is.
And thus, as it was a logical consequence, it immediately alarmed both Throttle and Modo once again and the two came running down the stairs at the speed of light.
"Incoming! Modo, Take Cover maneuver number eight on the double!", Throttle barked.
"Got your six!", Modo shouted back.
Just when Charley finally came to a halt with Vinnie on top of her, Throttle jumped on top of them as well, using his body to shield them both from possible explosions or incoming fire.

Modo was about to do the same, if it weren't that he slipped over one of the big gumballs on the floor.
Having a somewhat surprised expression on his face, which gave him a bit of a goofy appearance, he fell backward and with a dull thump, he landed on his butt.
But since he had been running at full speed, he slid over the floor with a strange squeaking noise before he practically crashed into the pile of one very poor human woman and two buff Martian Mice.

His weight shoved them all up against the wall, making it tremble and one of the toolboxes on the shelves toppled over.
Tools rained down on them with loud clattering and Throttle quickly covered his head with his arms as he used the rest of his body to protect Vinnie and Charley as well as he could.
With one last loud cloink, a wrench landed on Vinnie's luckily helmeted head before sweet, peaceful silence dawned upon them.

Breathing heavily and still on high alert, Throttle raised his head as he took a quick look around him, searching for any possible threat.
When he didn't see one, he lowered his gaze and looked down at Charley.
"Are you okay?"
Charley blinked her pretty green eyes, a bit dazed after this sudden and very unexpected turn of events.
"Define okay. What the hell just happened?"
"SSSSH! We're under attack", Vinnie whispered excessively loud in her ear, still lying on top of her.
Charley nodded, her face blank.
"I see."

Her gaze wandered through the garage, to eventually land on the candy that was scattered across the floor.
It was then that the figurative light bulb went on and she cleared her throat.
"So uhm… these attackers. What exactly did they look like?"
Vinnie shifted his weight a bit uncomfortable by thinking back at that moment he had opened the door, but also to make sure he wouldn't crush Charley under his perfect body.
"Well, for starters, they were small, as in half our size. There was one with fangs and a black cape, and one entirely wrapped in old rags. The third had a green face and screws growing out of his head, I'm not even kidding. Seriously, Charley, I've seen many strange things in my life, but this… this definitely takes the cake."
"Karbunkle's creations, for sure", Throttle added, being dead serious.

"And they were each holding an orange, strange-looking bucket with an evil face on it. It has to be some kind of new weapon, but I haven't figured out how it works just yet…", Vinnie mused out loud with a furrowed brow, his red eyes raised to heaven.
"Maybe it's some kind of portable transporter?", Modo suggested, still leaning against his bro's and Charley, and he partially turned his head in their direction while keeping half an eye on the door.
"Ya know, to transport us back to Plutark for trial?"

Vinnie nodded, still having that rare serious look on his usual carefree face.
"Could be, ya know, could be… They did try to shove it in my face the moment I opened the door…"
"Or it could be a bomb", Throttle meddled with conversation again.
"If that's the case, we need to lure them away from the garage first. We can't take the risk of blowing the whole place up."
The tan-furred mouse fell silent again, and after heaving a frustrated sigh, he looked at his bro's.
"You know, I can't stop thinking about the doorbell. Why use the doorbell if you have the element of surprise? It just doesn't make any sense…"

Charley, now finally fully understanding what was happening here, rested her head on the cold floor of the garage and closed her eyes, feeling very tired all of a sudden.
"Before you guys roll out and blow up half the city, you might wanna hear me out."
Vinnie's eyes darted over to the candy, then back to Charley as a mischievous smile appeared on his face.
"Do tell. I'm on the edge of my 'sweet' over here."
Charley opened her eyes and glanced at the white-furred mouse from under her lashes.
"Did you just make a candy pun?"

Vinnie shrugged, looking all nonchalant but his smile became even more playful, as far as that goes.
"Nah. Candy puns are so M&Mbarrassing."
Charley's lips curled into a smile as well as she shot him a meaningful look.
"Don't give me that. You just couldn't Reese-ist!"
Vinnie rolled his twinkling red eyes and heaved a sigh, allegedly defeated.
"Okay, okay. I'll admit. I just wanted to see you Snicker… sweetTart."
Charley wiggled her eyebrows.
"I like the way you Rolo."

Modo and Throttle shared a look.
"Okay, what is happening here?", Modo muttered.
"More to the point, what did you wanna tell us, Charley?", Throttle asked, somewhat tiredly.
"I guess I just wanted to tell you that you kind of jumped the gum…", Charley started, but when she saw Throttle giving her a deadly glare, she trailed off.
"You guys are no fun…", she muttered under her breath before she pushed Vinnie off of her and made herself comfortable against the wall of her beloved garage.
"Okay, so hear me out. These so-called attackers of yours aren't a result of one of Karbunkle's mad scientists projects. They are merely dressed up children. You see, we have this tradition here, on Earth. It's called Halloween…"

After that fateful night, Vinnie wasn't allowed to open the door, ever again.
