Skulker seethed as he flew through the swirling green mists of the Ghostzone. He was in a bad mood after having just lost a fight with that damned ghost-child and was in pretty rough shape. The child had really done a number on his robotic body this time.

One of his arms was clutched in the opposite hand, completely separated from his body, he was missing all of his shoulder armor and varius dents and gaps littered Skulker's muscular frame. The half-ghost must have been really upset this time around. Phantom wasn't normally known for excessively violent counterattacks but he obviously hadn't been pulling any punches this time around. The boy must not have liked that Skulker had used his friends as bait for his most recent scheme.

It had been a simple plan: kidnap the boy's friends, force him into a one on one match for their freedom, completely wipe the floor with him, and go home with his hide hanging over the hunter's shoulder as a prize. That wasn't how it had gone unfortunately.

The child's friend; Tucker, Skulker believed his name was, had managed to hide a second PDA somewhere on his person (Skulker still wasn't sure where, he had searched both of them beforehand!) and used his hacking skills to, once again, make Skulker's suit go haywire. After that it had been a losing battle and boy did he lose.

Phantom had nearly torn him apart before he sucked Skulker into the Fenton thermos. The boy was getting stronger, discovering new powers every other day it seemed. Soon, Skulker feared he wouldn't be able to catch up to the half-ghost regardless of what upgrades and weapons he acquired. It was kind of a depressing thought really, to not be able to go toe to toe with his prey anymore, to be outmatched and beaten by a miere child. Though he was using the term child loosely at this point, the boy had to be in his twenties by now, my how the years had flown.

Skulker can't say he hadn't done some damage to the other before his defeat, the boy had been in nearly the same shape by the time the fight was over, but how long would that last? How long did the hunter have before he couldn't even scratch him? Before he'd be reduced to intimidation and power status of The Box Ghost?!

Ugh, Skulker really knew how to bring himself down, even when he was already low.

As it was, skulker's body had taken on too much damage for him to fix on his own. The suit was a complex piece of tech, one that Skulker knew very well and could normally fix if he'd suffered minorly. However, without the use of one arm and with the various other holes that had been punched into his body he would need help this time.

Technus and he were on very good terms. The other ghost had all but given up his criminal career, only really going into the mortal world to get new gadgets to toy with these days. Skulker didn't mind that though, really, it just kept the other from interfering in his hunting of the ghost-child. Sometimes he did miss teaming up, but hey whatever floated Technus' boat so to speak. It wasn't Skulker's choice to make.

Skulker touched down on the large chunk of rock that Technus' lair was rooted on. It was a wide building, only a couple stories tall, but still held an imposing air to it with its black and green color scheme and huge double doors that served as its entrance. It had changed much over the years they'd known each other, for the better of course, Technus never downgraded after all. It used to be a tiny, little thing, barley having enough space to serve as a workshop. Now, Skulker knew, it was very spacious on the inside.

The hunter stomped up the metal stairs and pushed one of the doors aside. He'd been coming here long enough to waltz in without knocking, not that he ever had to begin with.

"Tech!" Skulker called as he moved down the lair's main corridor towards where he knew the lab sat. "Hey! Where are you at?"

"I'm right here. Stop shouting." Technus said, appearing out of a seam in the wall next to Skulker. He gave the hunter a once over. A grin spread over his green face and he whistled. "Daaamn, the ghost boy did a number on you this time, didn't he?"

Skulker bared his teeth and gripped the robotic arm in his hand harder.

"Shuddup! He's not in good shape either, I promise you that!" He snarled as he brushed past Technus to trudge further into the building. Technus followed behind him, already calculating just how much work this was going to be to fix his damages.

"I'm sure." Technus said, grinning nonshalontly as they entered his lab.

It was an impressive space, Skulker had to admit. It was a large room that was lined with various bits of equipment and a few workbenches that held projects the genius was currently working on. Technus liked to call his work space 'comfortably cluttered' and Skulker couldn't help but agree. It was an organized mess, one that spoke of a devotion to a passion that rivaled Skulker's. At the room's center stood a huge diagram of the solar system, complete with moons. It rotated slowly but constantly as the planets changed positions around the replica sun at the machine's core.

Technus said it showed the positions of the mortal realm's solar system as it turned. He claimed it was important to know them for magnetic interference reasons but if that were the only reason for the device Technus could have just made a computer program to do the same thing. He also wouldn't have had his ceiling dotted with millions of tiny lights that replicated stars off in the distance.

Skulker was sure it had more to do with aesthetics than anything else, but who was he to tell Technus how to decorate his lab? His own home was covered nearly wall to wall with his hunting trophies so, he supposed, the tech genius wasn't the only one going for curtain aesthetics. Besides, it did look kinda cool as it twirled around the room. The quiet sound of its inner mechanics created a sort of gentle ticking that was soothing when one sat and listened. It also, Skulker had to admit, looked gorgeous when all the lights were out and the planets glowed gently as they traveled through the sea of fake stars.

The hunter had often come to the lab to find Technus sitting on one of the planets, gazing up at the stars as they traveled past, expression relaxed but far off in thought. During those times Skulker couldn't help but stare at the other, his face lit by the stars and hair almost glowing white in the darkness of the room.

Technus had upgraded a few times over the years, advancing with the technology he absorbed. As the tech in the mortal world became more sleek and efficient, so too, did he.

His frame was still well built, perhaps a bit leaner, but he was shorter than he had been with his first upgrade. His hair had gotten longer as well, brushing slightly past his waist and the sides were no longer shaved, simply secured back so they wouldn't fall into his face while he worked.

His outfit had also changed, it still had the white cape, though it now sported I zigzag hem and instead of a lab coat Technus now adorned a black body suit with thin green lines that moved with the contours of his body and large clunky boots that came up to his knees. That only item of clothing that had remained untouched were his glasses, but Skulker doubted those would ever change, Technus loved them too much.

All these new changes had caught Skulker's eye. He had already had a decent relationship with Technus, they worked together often and Skulker had gone to him on many occasions to get his advice on a new weapon or upgrade to his suit. The hunter knew that the other ghost's mind was sharp and intelligent, he had liked that about him, even if Technus did have a flair for the dramatic.

Now the tech wiz had the added bonus of being incredibly hot after all of those upgrades. He made great eye candy for Skulker whenever he went to the genius's lair

However, Skulker was with Ember at the time and they had been infatuated with each other. Until the honeymoon phase had long worn off and they realized they weren't very compatible, that is.

It seemed that everything they had once had in common had now turned into a conflict. They both had strong passions for what they did but could never relate them to each other, they both hated the ghost-child but one wanted to hunt him down and best him and the other could care less as long as he stayed out of her way. They were both cut from the same cloth in that they were hot tempered and were quick to argue with one another, and argue they did, often and loudly.

All these tensions added up until they both had had enough, and mutually ended the relationship. It wasn't all bad, Skulker supposed, they still talked and held respect for each other. Hell, they even worked together on occasion, they're romantic relationship just hadn't been right in the end.

It wasn't until later on that Skulker really started to notice the changes Technus had made to himself. Notice and take interest in. After his third upgrade Technus had seemed to tame himself slightly and started to keep more to Ghostzone to put more effort into his plots and projects. He'd had quite a bit of success against Phantom at first. They had fought a few times and each time Technus had come out victorious. He'd been damn close to actually killing him during a few of those fights.

But, as always, the child's wonderful luck ended up saving him in the form of a backdoor program Foley (they really needed to keep more of an eye on that child) had been able to patch into Technus's battlesuit. It crashed the whole system and had fried the mainframe while Technus was inside it. The surge had been enough to not only destroy the suit but drain all of the power Technus had in his ghostly form.

This is a dangerous thing to happen to a ghost. If their form loses all power while out in the human world they won't have the energy to keep their ghostly bodies stable. If this happens they'll start to dissipate and fade. To where? No one really knew but Skulker had never seen a ghost come back after they faded and he wasn't keen on finding out where they ended up.

Luckly, Phantom had quickly trapped Technus in the thermos, which was able to keep him stable until he was deposited back into the Ghostzone.

It had taken months for the tech wiz to get back to even half strength. Skulker had visited often during this time. To check up on Technus and make sure the ghost wasn't planing anything stupid while he was recovering. He needed to stay in the Ghostzone and recharge, not go hunting for revenge. It was during this time that the two had gotten a little closer and made the shift from working partners to actual friends.

Neither ghost was very good with emotions, they typically stayed on less personal topics at first. How Technus was recovering, what Skulker's next prey was, it wasn't until they started talking about the nonexistent weather the Ghostzone possessed that they started delving into talks with a little more substance to them. They had learned a great deal about one another in the months that followed.

Technus learned that Skulker was a much older ghost than he let on, 245 years dead to be exact, Skulker didn't think he'd ever hear the end of the old man jokes that Technus kept making whenever an opportunity presented itself. Oppositely, Skulker learned that Technus was actually fairly young and had only been dead for 8 or 9 years.

Skulker learned what Technus' favorite color was and why. He'd had what, not just controlling a suit of armor felt like, but how it felt to be the armor described to him in great detail, and what the Tech genius wanted for his future.

Most importantly though, in Skulker's opinion, he learned that Technus didn't remember being alive.

They'd been sitting in the lab, talking about Skulker's interests while Technus tinkered with a few wires and bits of metal, when Skulker had asked jokingly if the other was just as obsessed with wires when he'd been alive. Technus had paused in his ministrations and was quiet for a moment.

"...I don't know.." Technus had said after a few seconds, glancing at Skulker and then back at the work in front of him. "I don't remember."

"You don't remember anything?" Skulker had asked in disbelief. It was rare that a ghost as powerful as Technus didn't recall anything about their lives. Their memories were often the root of their motives, what their whole being was built on after death. With such a large obsession like the one Technus had, Skulker would have guessed for sure he'd remember most if not his entire life.

"Nothing at all besides my first name. The first thing I remember is waking up in the Ghostzone." Technus said, fiddling with a bit of metal. He cleared his throat and plastered a grin on his face. "It's fine. It obviously wasn't worth remembering. I Don't really mind."

But Skulker did.

A ghost didn't just forget everything about themselves because their lives had been boring or mundan, they forgot them because they needed to escape them. He'd seen it before, ghosts that only got flashes of memory when something reminded them just a little too closely of what they left behind. They'd often change forms for the briefest of intsants to a replica of their old selves. Most of the time, in the condition they died in.

Skulker had never seen Technus do this, never seen him lose himself in a glimpse of the past, and he was almost thankful for that. However, a large part of him burned to know. He wanted to know what Technus–no, Nicoali, had been, what kind of person he was, what kind of job he had, how he died…

"Here. Sit. I'll get my tools." Technus said, pulling Skulker from his reminiscing as he gestured at one of the workbenches that was suddenly clearing itself of its contents.

"Don't tell me what to do." Skulker muttered but moved to comply anyway. Technus came back shortly with a little box of tools and a few parts that he'd known just from seeing the other that he'd need.

Normally if Technus was working on something he didn't need tools, he'd just take control of the components he wished to work with and manipulate them how he wanted, but he didn't do this with Skulker's suit. His suit was more than just wires and motherboards, it was Skulker's body, it was how he interacted with the world around him. Skulker figured Technus knew this so didn't possess it as a courtesy to the hunter, even if it would have made the process of repairing him easier for both of them.

"So." Technus said after setting down the supplies and taking the severed arm from Skulker's other hand. "Tell me about it."

"Not much to tell." Skulker winced as Technus gently moved some loose hanging wires out of the way to look into the other's arm joint, getting a mumbled apology as he inspected the damage. "I fought the ghost-child, I lost, now I'm here."

Technus grabbed a screwdriver from his toolbox and opened a little panel in Skulker's neck revealing a few knobs and ports. He twisted one of the knobs to deactivate Skulker's pain sensors, causing the hunter to sigh in relief. He then plugged a cord into one of said ports and a schematic of Skulker's suit along a list of red diagnostic warnings flashed onto a nearby computer screen.

"There must be more to it than that." The tech genius argued, glancing at all the warnings that were listed on the screen. "I've rarely seen you this damaged." He popped open a different panel on Skulker's armless side and started working out all the mangled circuitry that was getting in his way.

"I used his friends as bait." Skulker deadpanned, looking straight ahead as Technus worked. He knew this wouldn't take long, Technus was just as efficient using old fashioned tools as he was with his powers.

Technus winced as he rewired a few cables and began welding a few of the bigger gashes on Skulker's body shut.

"I bet he just loved that." The genius tried, voice dripping with malice and sarcasm.

"Clearly."

They were silent for a while as Technus continued with the repairs. He made short work of the dents and cuts that littered Skulker's body and then straightened and waved his hand towards a wall to his left. A few parts floated out of some compartments and drawers to land on the table beside Skulker's severed arm.

"This might take a minute, your arm is pretty beat up." Technus said summoning a chair from nearby. "I'll have to almost completely rebuild it."

"Whatever you have to do." Skulker said hunching over to rest his one good arm on his knee. "I'm not in any hurry." And he wasn't. What did he have to do after this? Go home and wallow in his defeat? He'd rather put that off for as long as possible, actually. At least while he was here he could focus on other things. Like the way Technus' hands looked against his metallic skin, or how the other would impatiently push the hair that had escaped his ponytail away from his face as he poured over his work, or how his brows furrowed in concentration as he fiddled with a tricky bit of circuitry. Had Skulker mentioned that Technus was hot?

He stared at the technpyth openly, unafraid of if he'd be noticed, Technus was far too engrossed in what he was doing. Skulker doubted a bomb would draw his attention when he really got focused on something.

So after about an hour of welding, patching, and staring, lots of staring, Technus finally sighed and placed the wrench he'd been using on the table.

"Well I think this should do it." He chirped, turning to Skulker and looking over top of his glasses. They locked eyes and for a moment Skulker felt like he couldn't move as he gazed into Technus' deep red irises. The other ghost seemed to freeze up as well, as he looked into Skulker's own vibrant green pools.

"Get on with it then." Skulker droned, sitting up straighter to give the other better access. From the corner of his eye Skulker saw Technus shake his head as if breaking out of a daze.

"Don't tell me what to do." Technus replied, deepening his voice in a poor imitation of Skulker's baritone one. This caused Skulker to chuckle slightly. His sour mood had started to dissipate as soon as his pain scensers were disengaged and had only improved as the rest of his body was patched up.

Technus quickly stood and started reattaching the arm to Skulker's shoulder. He placed the right wires into the right outlets and then reactivated the hunter's sensors.

"Ok try that out." The genius said, stepping back to give the other some room.

Skulker stood and held his arm out, clenched and unclenched his fist and then flexed, flashing Technus a grin as he did so. The joints glided smoothly and soundlessly, not a single catch in their mechanisms. Technus for his part stared on, eyes lingering on the bulging muscles of Skulker's newly fixed arm before flickering up to the hunter's face.

"Feels good, nice work dork." Skulker said, letting his arm fall to his side.

"You're welcome, you absolute brute." Technus retorted, walking the short distance to where he kept his tools and placing back where they belonged.

He brushed his hair back as he straightened and Skulker found himself staring again. The other turned to him and raised one white eyebrow in question.

"What?" Technus asked, placing a hand on his hip. The action moved half of his cape aside and gave Skulker a good view of the lean, yet toned body that hid underneath. The hunter's eyes moved to look the other up and down. His resolve finally snapped.

"I think something's wrong with the touch respecters." Skulker said as he looked back down at his hand, clenching and unclenching his fist once more. "Feels kinda numb."

"Ah, maybe one of the nerve simulators is misaligned. Let me look." Technus crossed the short distance between them and took the hunter's large hand in both of his.

Skulker looked at the other's face as Technus looked over all the seams on his hand, running his fingers over the smooth metal while turning it this way and that to get a better look.

"I don't see anything wrong with the circuitry." Technus said finally, still gently holding Skulker's palm in his own much smaller one. "Maybe we could run some tests? Narrow down what area exactly is causing the issue?"

"Good idea." Skulker grinned as he ran his thumb over the back of Technus' hand and hummed in thought.

"Hmm, nope not my thumb I could feel that."

Technus looked at him quizzically as Skulker's hand wrapped around his wrist and traveled up his arm to rest on his shoulder.

"Not my palm, I could feel your whole arm." The hunter slowly trailed the tips of his fingers down to Technus' collarbone, nearly whispering now as he leaned in a little closer. "Not my fingers."

"Um I—" Technus started but stopped as Skulker continued to slowly drag the back of his hand lower down his body, stopping just above where his bellybutton rested. The genius looked very confused, Skulker could see ectoplasm collecting in his cheeks as a blush broke out across his face.

"Not the back of my hand. Huh, maybe I just needed to get used to it." Skulker said finally, moving his hand to wrap around Technus' hip and drawing their bodies closer. Their noses would have brushed if Skulker had had one and if he moved his head forward slightly their lips would as well.

Technus looked like his brain had short circuited in its confines as he placed both of his hands on Skulker's broad chest and looked up into his eyes.

"I-I—" The genius tried again only to be interrupted by Skulker.

"Maybe I should try my other hand for comparison?" As the hunter said it his other hand wrapped itself around Technus' waist and started to travel up along his spine. Getting a startled little whimper out of the genius. Skulker could feel the muscles twitch and flex as he went until his hand came to rest on the back of the tech wiz's neck, brushing his thumb gently against the base of his skull.

They stood like that for a moment. Technus stared wide eyed at Skulker from over his glasses and Skulker smiled lazily at the other. His eyes flicked down to Technus' lips and back up.

"You can stop me if you want." Skulker whispered as he moved closer slowly. He met no resistance as he brushed their lips together, only a slight gasp. This encouraged him and he pressed their lips together with a little more force.

The kiss deepened and Skulker ran his tongue over Technus' bottom lip, asking for entrance. It was given to him instantly, Technus' lips parted with a quiet groan and his fingers held tightly to Skulker's black tank top.

Skulker tangled his hand in the other's hair as their tongues danced with one another, drawing their bodies impossibly closer so their fronts were flush against each other.

There was no fight for dominance, Technus submitted to Skulker easily and as the kiss grew ever deeper he trailed his hands up to wrap his arms around Skulker's thick neck. Skulker hummed approvingly at the action and the hand on Technus' hip started to run up and down the other's side.

The tight bodysuit Technus wore clung to him like a second skin and Skulker could feel every dip and curve to the genius's body. His hand trailed back down over the other's hip, grabbing one Technus' firm buttocks.

The action caused Technus to gasp and flinch back slightly to stare at the hunter with something close to offense. Skulker flashed him a wolfish grin as his free hand went to grab the other cheek.

"Handsy." Technus mumbled even as he ran his hands over Skulker's broad shoulders. "One little kiss and you think you can just manhandle me how you please?"

"Yes." Skulker chuckled and lowered his hands slightly, grabbing the backs of Technus' thighs and hosting the other's legs up, getting a yelp in return as he gave him no choice but to wrap them around the hunter's waist. "I do."

"A little warning please!" Technus said, lightly slapping Skulker's chest with the back of his hand. "You better not accidentally drop me, you beast."

"I can bench press a semi truck. You weigh nothing, though I can't promise I won't do it on purpose." Skulker chuckled, nosing at Technus' jaw and planting feather light kisses up to the shell of his pointed ear. The other tilted his head to the side to give him better access. The hunter moved them over to the previously abandoned workbench and gently sat Technus on it.

The other ghost looked up at Skulker, running his hands over the wide expanse of the hunter's pectorals, down over his abdomen, and then back up again.

"What's gotten into you all of the sudden?" The tech wiz asked, not stopping his gentle exploration of Skulker's body. "Where'd all this come from? I didn't think I was your type. Figured you'd want someone with a little more, eh, bite to them?"

"Turns out I like obnoxious Technology geeks too." Skulker replied, looking into Technus' dark shades. His hand traveled up to caress the other's cheek. "Can I take these off? I wanna see your face." The other ghost hesitated a moment before nodding and allowing Skulker to pluck the glasses from his face and deposited them onto the table next to them.

Now Skulker was staring directly into Technus' crimson eyes, so deep and full of questions. He smiled as he stared into them, stoking his thumb along the other's jawline as he placed his hand on the side of the Technus' neck.

"That's more like it."

"Seriously, you're being a total sap!" Technus exclaimed, clearly embarrassed, even more ectoplasm collected in his cheeks, turning his face a more fluorescent shade of green.

"Stop ruining the moment." Skulker chastised lightly as he moved in for another kiss. He ran his hands up and down Technus' thighs as he locked their lips together and the genius's legs parted ever so slightly in response. Skulker couldn't help but smirk.

The hunter reached his hand up to land on the clasp holding Technus' cap in place and paused, looking at the other for permission. The other ghost gave a quiet "go ahead" and Skulker undid the latch and let the fabric slide off Technus' shoulders and flutter to the floor behind him.

God, did Technus' body look nice wrapped in all that black and green cloth. Skulker bet it would look even better in nothing at all. He was determined to find out.

So, with purpose in his movements, his hand traveled up the genius's back to the base of his neck where the zipper to his suit sat, gripping it in between his thumb and pointer finger. He slowly began to drag the tap downward. Tooth by tooth, he guided his hand until the track stopped just above the other's ass.

Technus grabbed the hem of Skulker's own tank top and tugged at it insistently. The hunter got the message and took the edge of the fabric from Technus' hand, lifting it over his head and tossing it to the floor to land next to the genius's cape.

"Niiiiice." Technus hummed appreciatively and biting his lip as if he hadn't just spent the better part of two hours with his hands buried in the same torso. The action drew Skulker's attention and he dove back in for another kiss, this time mostly tongue and teeth. The hunter ran his hands along Technus' back and pushed aside the folds of his suit and kept pushing until the other's upper body was completely bare to him. The extra fabric pooled around Technus' waist as it fell from his torso revealing the toned expanse of green skin it had been hiding.

The hunter brushed his fingertips along Technus' collarbone and then down to his chest to take one of his darker green nubs between his fingers, rolling it gently and giving it a few little tugs.

Technus gasped at the action, breaking the kiss for the briefest of seconds before sealing their lips again. He let out little whimpers and groans in between kisses as his hands tangled themselves in Skulker's firy green locks. He pulled the hunter closer and one of his hands traveled down Skulker's torso to the front of his belt, quickly undoing the buckle and unbuttoning his pants.

The hunter grabbed Technus' leg and pulled their lower bodies closer, rubbing their, now rather obvious, erections against each other. Both of them moaned at the pleasure the action brought them.

Skulker pushed the tech genius back to lie down on the workbench and started to climb on top of him when—

"TECHNUS! YOU GHIANT FUCKING NERD! WE'VE BEEN AT THE DOOR FOR TEN MINUT—" Ember screeched but stopped short as she kicked open the lab door, broken guitar held tightly in one hand.

At her sudden entrance Skulker snarled and threw himself over top of his would be lover, attempting to cover Technus' naked upper half with his own. He looked to the intruder with wrath in his gaze while Technus sputtered in embarrassment.

"EMBER! Jesus you could have fucking knocked!" Technus yelled from his spot under the hulking form that was Skulker.

"I did, you didn't answer." Ember replied, a large grin creeping onto her face as she wiggled her eyebrows. "I see now that you were a little …busy."

"Get OUT!" Skulker snarled, still pinning Technus to the workbench underneath him but Ember ignored the hunter entirely as she whistled.

"Damn Skulker, how'd you manage to nab Technus? Guys a total prude." She said, placing her hand on her hip. "Even I wasn't able to get into his pants, and I did try."

"Whaaat?" Technus exclaimed, embarrassed, as he moved to pull the top of his body suit back on. Skulker took that as que to get up and he moved off of the other ghost to stand next to the workbench. "That never happened!"

Skulker could see the mood had been ruined via his irritating Ex and went to retrieve their clothing still sitting in a heap on the floor. Though he did feel a flair of possessiveness at Ember's comment and he shot her a very unamused glare as he bent to retrieve them.

"Yes it did, you're just too romantically stupid to understand that I was coming on to you." Ember said, rolling her eyes at the hunter's glare. "What did Skulker have to do? Cop a feel and kiss you for you to get that he wanted to plow you into the ground?"

The other two remained silent and Skulker pointedly avoided looking her in the eyes.

"Oh. My. God! He did didn't he?! HAHAHAHA!" She exclaimed as she doubled over cackling. "T-Tech you—you hahaha! You're too m-much! O-Oh my G-GOD!"

Skulker was suddenly very glad his suit couldn't blush because his face would have been as green as Technus' with the embarrassment that Ember's histarics had brought on. He handed Technus his cape, glancing at the other ghost as he did so. His face was lit up like a neon sign, he was so flushed and flustered. Skulker felt kind of bad for him, he looked absolutely humiliated as he quickly snapped the fabric back into place, staring off to the side to avoid their gaze.

"Knock it off, you screeching harpy!" Skulker seethed through gritted teeth, crossing his arms over his chest.

Ember's cackle trickled down into a fading giggle as she composed herself.

"B-Bite me, hunter." She said, letting a few remaining chuckles slip before she stood straight again. She wiped a tear from her eye before continuing. "But seriously we should have a double date sometime! Kitty would be thrilled! Plus who knows what we'll all get up to afterwards."

Ember gave the two a sultry look as she said the last part, looking them both up and down with a slight hunger in her eyes.

"Ember!" Technus blanched as he pinched the bridge of his nose, cheeks still ablaze. Skulker for his part tilted his head slightly intrigued by the idea. He shook his head, that was for a later time, when his Ex hadn't just cockblocked him and laughed in his face about it.

"What are you even doing here?" The hunter demanded, leaning against the table behind him. "Besides being a pest?"

"I'll have you know I was invited here." Ember defended. "My guitars busted and lover boy here was supposed to help me fix it today." She lifted the instrument and showed them its broken interface for emphasis. One of its buttons hung limply by a wire and there were scorch marks all along the front of it.

"But it's ok, I get it." She said, flashing Technus a crooked smile, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I'm not the only one that needs help with their instrument."

"EMBER!" The other ghost screamed in unison.
