The week almost passed by in a flash. Majority of the decorations had been made and were being set up the morning of. Dolores had helped put up the banners with the help of Casita and her younger brother to match her height.
Luisa carried a wagon filled with decorations in each hand before going to help out the town people. Isabela had put floral patterns on the pillars before she was whisked away with Abuela to go meet a boy she thought was the perfect match for Isa.
Dolores had noticed she hadn't seen much of her mother throughout that week. After that day Pepa had almost made it a top priority to stay away from her mother at all times. On the off chance she did see her mother, Pepa and Abuela would walk by each other in passing but never said a word, before the redheaded woman would go to her room and not be seen the rest of the day.
Whenever Dolores met with Alejandro during that week her behavior was a bit more bolder towards him. She would sit in his lap more, play with his hair when they laid together in the grass and kissed him longer, more often, and in different places each time. He never complained because he liked having her attention on him, and he even reciprocated her advances.
In reality her nerves were all over the place. After she decided she would take her mother's place in having a child she went back home and didn't speak a word to anyone, she couldn't. How could she explain what it was she had planned when everyone else had their own problems.
When the night in question came, Dolores had to calm herself down enough to be around everyone in town. Little kids ran around playing and the grown ups conversed with one another about any and everything, usually something related to Isabela. The music played and people danced, it was kind of nice.
Dolores smiled when all of a sudden a pair of hands covered her eyes and she felt a kiss place behind her ear. " Te ves hermosa, mi amor ." She knew that voice anywhere. When he removed his hands from her face she laughed and turned to face him. Alex stood there with a bright smile as he looked down at her. " y te ves guapo, Corazon "
Dolores kissed his cheek before hearing a purposely made cough come from behind her. She turned around with wide eyes and smiled awkwardly. Her father stood behind her with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face."P-Papi! Uh.." She stepped to stand beside Alex and glanced at him before looking back at Felix. "This is Alejandro.. Alex, this is mi Papi, Felix."
Felix looked the boy over before his eyes showed recognition of his features. "You are Pedro's boy. " Alex chuckled lightly and nodded his head as he brought his hand out for the shorter man to shake. "Si, it's a pleasure to meet you, senor. "
Dolores looked at her father and saw him look at the hand presented to him before smiling. He grabbed Alex's hand and brought him into a hug. "Please, call me Felix, your padre and I were great friends growing up."
He let him out of the hug and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "How is Pedro? I haven't spoken to him in a while. I heard you were moving in a few weeks."
Dolores smiled as Alex and Felix fell into a comfortable conversation about his family and childhood adventures Felix had with Pedro. Eventually the conversation had ended and Dolores and Alex danced together before Abuela had stopped the music in order to acknowledge Isabela's birthday.
Dolores stood next to her parents on the other side of her Abuela as she spoke. She had looked out to the crowd and scanned through the faces before finding the one she was looking for.
Her eyes met with her boyfriends and he gave her a smile that made her blush and look away. She looked back over to her family and saw all of them smile at Isabela while she sat there and smiled at everyone else with her hands closed in front of her.
When abuela finished what she had to say everyone clapped and cheered. Some people stayed close to talk with her family while others began dancing again once the music played.
Now was her chance, her family was distracted. If she didn't take it now, she wouldn't get another one. Dolores had subtly left the area her family had stood in and found Alex dancing with some of the town's people laughing. When he twirled around, she grabbed at one of his hands and dragged him over to under the staircase.
She stared at him as he smiled down at her. She grinned and brought her hands up to his face and closed the distance between them. Alex hummed in the kiss and reciprocated the pressure. They didn't separate until they needed air and their eyes met each other. Alex tilted his head to the side and nudged at her head. "What was that for, Chiquita?"
Dolores moved her head to nuzzle at his neck before she kissed him there. "Does there need to be a reason to show mi novio affection?" She felt him place his hands on her waist with a chuckle, before moving his body closer and kissing her cheek. "I suppose not."
Kiss after kiss, Dolores started running her hands from his hair to his back. She looked up at him with lust in her eyes and saw the same within his own. Alex could see a glint in her eyes as she repeatedly looked down at his lips and back up at him and smiled softly.
"...let's take this somewhere else. Donde nadie puede ver." She could hear the boy's heart beating faster at her words. Alex nodded his head as she grabbed his hand and took him upstairs to her room.
Before they fully went in, Dolores looked around and made sure no one would see before heading inside and pushing the dark haired boy on her bed. She laughed at his shocked expression before climbing to sit on his lap.
Alex held her waist still as she kissed him passionately before he broke it to look her in the eyes. "Dolores." The girl in question stared at him with her head tilted. "Hay algo mal, mi amor?" He shook his head and glanced at the floor before looking back at her and chuckled lightly.
"Of course not, princesa ...But this is kinda sudden. Why are you in such a hurry to bed me?"
Dolores sat up and sighed as she brought her hands to his shoulders and squeezed before she said the words she's been repeating to herself for the past few days. "I just want to make something of the night. You will be leaving soon and we won't have another chance to do this together. " she nudged her head against his and pouted softly. "Don't you want to touch me more, before our time is up?"
His eyes widened and his grip on her hips tightened lightly. "Por supuesto que, mi amor . I-"
Dolores caught him off with a kiss as she rocked her hips in a slow rhythm. Alex's hand twitched as the woman above him continued with her movements as she broke the kiss and stared at his eyes. "Then give me just this one night, Please? Give us one more great memory before I lose you, Alejandro."
Alex could hear the despair in her voice, and for a split second his brain told him not to do it, but the way his heart tugged as she pleaded softly to him, he knew he wouldn't be able to tell her no. He met her eyes and gave her a smile before he kissed her neck. "Okay."
Dolores smiled at his answer and began to unbutton his shirt. In return he would do the same until they both removed all their clothing. Dolores would kiss his worries away and hold onto him as she praised him for how he made her feel hours on end.
By the time everyone finally left Casita, it was late into the night. Half if not all of the family laid sleeping. Everyone except Dolores of course. She was up, watching as her lover's chest rose and fell with a slow but steady heart beat. She smiled and gently ran her fingers along his waist that was exposed from the loose sheets.
He was very gentle with her, and listened to everything she asked of him. She couldn't have asked for a better night than this one. Her heart felt heavy for what she did, and hopefully he would understand why when they were older. But this was going to help, all of their problems would be solved.
Eventually he would need to wake up so he could leave before anyone saw him. She sighed as she laid there for a few more minutes before she decided to finally wake him. Dolores grimaced as she felt the sticky mess that was in between her legs before moving around to kiss at his chest and neck as she scratched at his back.
"Corazon, you need to wake up." His eyebrow twitched before he opened his eyes and looked up at her smiling at him. "Hi. Did you enjoy your nap, amor ?" He laid his hands on her back and smiled back at her. "Hm. Waking up to you is something I could definitely get used to."
Dolores' heart tugged at the statement and she gave him a soft and yet sad smile as she ran her hand over his cheek. " Though that sounds very pleasing, you have to leave soon if you don't want to be caught by my family. Who knows what they would do to you if they found out what we did together."
The light skinned boy sat up with a sigh before kissing her lips. "You're right, I don't want to end up missing and never be able to see you again." When he stood up to find his clothes Dolores sat there and blushed as she stared at his butt, before going to her closet and picking out a nightgown to wear.
Once they were both dressed Dolores slowly walked with Alex down stairs to the closed door and whispered. "Casita, a little help please?"
Blue doors opened slowly without a sound and she placed her hand on it as thanks. Alex turned and kissed her cheek to which she smiled at. "Te ver mas tarde, muneca?"
The darker skinned woman nodded her head and watched him walk off back to his home before returning inside and grabbing an arepa before heading off to bed.
