The heroes come to the track, but they're too late as Seamus and Rollbar are already captured, and the drones moved on. "We're too late!" Bronwyn said. "They didn't get far, tracks're still warm." Huntress Wizard observed as she touches the road. "We know where they're going. C'mon!" Novo said before they move out once again. As Novo, the Speed Star and Gnashteeth ride off, the MorBot looks into the forest and finds an E.M.P. generator planted there.

At the hangar, Seamus is tied to a chair as MorBots stand guard around him. The M.E.C.H. Commandos work at mobile consoles to communicate with other field agents. "Kissinger's transponder is offline. His dropship must've crashed." a M.E.C.H. Commando said. "I'm guessing Novo did him in. He was one of the best of us." another M.E.C.H. Commando added. "That makes him especially dangerous." Yeong said as he looks to a damaged tracking chip, and a damaged kill chip recovered from MO Co.

"Isn't this the part where you slap me and ask me questions?" Seamus asked before being punched by a M.E.C.H. soldier. "We have the silenced ammo and the agent. Novo can wait another day." Yeong said. "The main transport should be arriving soon. Everyone, start moving the cargo and the hostages." another M.E.C.H. Commando commanded the drones. As the drones move crates away and pack up the consoles, Seamus darts his head around. "C'mon, Knight… of all the times to disappear, you had to do it now? Where are you…?" he whispered under his breath.

The heroes come to the eastern edge of the forest where they hide in a brush and see two Speed Stars standing guard at a gate. "There're three guards: those two, and a Mantis-Bot we buried behind the gate as a backup. Once those two are down, it'll dig its way out and take us out from behind." Novo planned. "But it's dumb, and only triggers once someone without clearance walks above it." the Speed Star continued. "Any inside knowledge on Speed Stars?" Tiffany asked. "You probably know we're weak in the knees. We're built for speed in robot mode, as our name suggests. Just do what you normally do to us." the Speed Star answered.

"Leave the Mantis-Bot to me. Once it awakens, we have a minute before they all come looking for us." Novo said as he held a grenade. "Once we're in the perimeter, there's two MorBot snipers. I'll transform into shield mode, and hope to whatever God I'll survive." The MorBot said. "You'll be fine. MorBot laser frequencies don't affect their own armour." Novo assured. "What about once we get in? No doubt they'll have more E.M.P.s to take you down." Bronwyn asked. "Us three will worry about that. You focus on saving your friend." Novo told them.

"If we're done, let's get it started!" Tiffany exclaimed before he rolls out of the brush and shoots a single shot from his Quick Bow at the left Speed Star's face, lightly cracking its visor. "Over here, you oversized punk-bad roadies!" Tiffany screamed. "Do I really look punk?" the Speed Star asked the MorBot. "You have spikes, you have the accent. I'd say so." the MorBot responded. The two Speed Stars stand their ground and fire at Tiffany as he shoots his grapple to one of their faces, performing the flying sword manoeuvre to fly through one of their heads, then using its minigun to take out the other.

Novo emerges and throws the grenade over the fence, triggering the Mantis-Bot trap and blowing it up at the same time. "Now! Now!" Novo yelled as the others rush into the gate. The three renegade drones transform into robot mode and drive towards the hangar with the adventurers following behind. Afterwards, giant green-yellow fet covered in rust stomps to the gate. "Is it him…?" the figure wondered.

Inside the hangar, an alarm sounds as the drones are in the middle of packing up. "Someone's breached the gate!" a M.E.C.H. Commando announced. The M.E.C.H. Commandos watch the security footage to see Novo in robot mode using the wheels on his feet to drive, leading the others towards the hangar as he uses the MorBot as a shield against the sniper lasers, deflecting one of them at the camera and destroying it. "Novo." Yeong said in disdain. "Dummies, continue unpacking. Anyone with a full brain will take arms and shoot 'em in the head!" Yeong commanded.

Seamus sees them taking weapons from the inventory, from assault rifle-shaped autocannons to E.M.P. generators, and they take their places at the entrance to wait for the trespassers come. The doors instead slowly open manually from the outside, revealing the MorBot. "Uh, hey." The MorBot greeted them. "It's one of the defects!" a M.E.C.H. Commando yelled before he fires his E.M.P. generator with the others. Simultaneously, the MorBot reveals his own E.M.P. generator and fires it before the drones, creating a feedback loop that bounces both parties away.

As the MorBot falls over, the Speed Star catches him as the others rush in. "Thanks." the MorBot thanked him. "Boy, am I glad to see you!" Seamus said as Bronwyn unties him from the chair. A MorBot comes straight at them, but Gnashteeth comes in and impales it right in the chest, destroying it. "Rollbar, buddy, you okay?" Seamus asked Rollbar as he still sat in vehicle mode.

"Gnashteeth, tow him!" Huntress Wizard commanded Gnashteeth, who transforms into alligator mode for Tiffany to hook Rollbar's bumper winch onto his tail. "How'd you find me?" Seamus asked as he follows Bronwyn. "We made some new friends." Bronwyn answered. "We got tired of being used for evil! Now we're gonna do some good for a change!" Novo yelled as he, alongside the other two drones, fights off his former comrades. "Let's go before they call for backup!" Huntress Wizard hurried as they leave the hangar.

As they flee, the three drones provide cover fire for their escape before they throw down their weapons to join them, when they feel a strong gust of wind to see a massive green ship hovering over the cliff before the hangar, marked with the M.E.C.H. logo. The ship deploys its cannons and fires laser blasts into the hangar as the heroes take cover at the bottom of the hill. "How do we take that down?!" Bronwyn shouted. "We're too underpowered to destroy it. It's got enough ordinance to take down a skyscraper in under a minute." Novo added. "It's a goddamn spaceship! We just freakin' run!" Seamus panicked.

The ship circles around to the bottom of the hill and locks its weapons onto the heroes. As Gnashteeth growls at it in an attempt to protect his teammates, the MorBot runs forward just as the ship blasts them. The smoke clears, revealing a badly-damaged MorBot with breached armour, particularly a wide gash in his chest before collapsing to the ground where the Speed Star comes to his side. "Why…? Why'd you do it?" he asked the MorBot. "I'm tired… of running…" the MorBot said as his red eyes dim down.

The ship charges its weapons again to destroy the heroes, when its starboard hull suddenly explodes. The adventurers look to see a rusted, yellow-green S.U.V. with a roof-mounted laser shotgun drive towards them before transforming into a bulky Transformer, armed with a wrecking ball. They leap into the air and swing the wrecking ball into the ship's thrusters, causing it to spin out of control to the ground, causing the crew to evacuate the vessel and engage their assailant, who uses a giant mining pick to chop them to pieces. The mysterious Transformer proceeds to single-handedly finish off the M.E.C.H. Commandos from the ship before approaching the adventurers. "Stranger, you couldn't have better timing." Seamus thanked the Transformer.

"Who are you?" Huntress Wizard asked. "C-81. I'm a friend of a friend." the Transformer responded before turning his attention to the fallen MorBot. "He sacrificed himself to save us, giving you time to jump in." Tiffany said. C-81 opens up a layer in the MorBot's chest, revealing a glowing ball of blue light. "By the Allspark…" C-81 said in surprise.

"It's a spark…" Seamus added. "A what?" Tiffany asked. "The heart of a Transformer. Drones don't have them… or at least they're not supposed to." Huntress Wizard explained. "He's a brave soldier, and I do not say that often." C-81 commented as he stared at the MorBot's inactive body. "The spark's still burning. I think he's still alive!" Novo realized. "Then that means we can repair him." the Speed Star suggested.

"If it's repairing bots, then I'm your man. I can have him good as new in no time." Seamus told them. "Will you take us to Finn and Jake?" Novo asked. "They're busy, but I know someone who can help you settle into a new life." Seamus said to them. "We'd appreciate that… what's your name?" the Speed Star asked. "Call me Seamus. I'm the guy that's been a thorn in those guys' side for a while." Seamus introduced himself. "Well, Seamus, lead the way." Novo said as he transforms into vehicle mode.

Seamus hooks Rollbar to the Speed Star's bumper and puts him on neutral before approaching the three adventurers. "You three did a pretty great job today, saving our lives, and all. I'll be sure to note your efforts in my report." Seamus told them. "Thank you, Seamus." Huntress Wizard said. "After writing that report, mind rubbing it in the penguins' faces for us?" Tiffany requested. "Hahaha! I dunno who you're talking about." Seamus laughed.

"Will we meet again?" Bronwyn asked the drones. "The world's a small place. I'm sure we will. Thanks to you, we're gonna live to see another day." Novo said as he carried the MorBot. "If we're done, let's head out. There's this guy called Steve, and I think you three are gonna get along swimmingly with him." Seamus said as he enters Novo's driver's seat. "Goodbye!" Bronwyn yelled to them as they leave through the gates. "I mildly appreciate a happy ending." Tiffany said.

"Whaddya you think of this quest? Does it scratch that danger itch?" Bronwyn asked. "I guess it does. Helping those guys reminds me of myself. I thought I joined up to impress Jake, but maybe a part of me deep down wanted to really do some good, being tired of being bad, and all." Tiffany said. "Don't get too soft on us now, Tiff." Bronwyn teased. "Will you stop seeking validation now?" Huntress Wizard asked. "What? No! I'll show Jake that I can be the best do-gooder I can be!" Tiffany screamed.

"Because you're Tiffany?" Huntress Wizard asked. "Because I'm Tiffany!" Tiffany screamed. "Let's go home. My dad's gonna pop his lid if I'm a minute late." Bronwyn said before C-81 stops them. "There's a reason why I found you. I'vI'm looking for someone." C-81 said. "Sorry, but we're gonna be off-duty for the rest of the day." Huntress Wizard said.

"Did you know you've been working with a child?" C-81 asked them. "I'm a teenager." Bronwyn corrected in frustration. "No… him." C-81 said as he looks to Gnashteeth. "Back off. I don't know who you're friends of a friend with, but nobody touches Gnashteeth." Huntress Wizard demanded. "Is that what you're calling him?" C-81 asked as he points to Huntress Wizard, when Gnasteeth transforms into robot mode and pulls him away from her, putting them face-to-face.

"Not even an Earth year old. He's recently matured." C-81 observed. "Huntress, what aren't you telling us about Gnashteeth?" Tiffany asked. "As you might've guessed… he's not my roommate. I found him as a baby robot. He's my son." Huntress Wizard answered. "Wow, shocker." Tiffany said sarcastically. "We've known for a while, with all the baby talk and all." Bronwyn added.

"I know. I didn't wanna humour you." Huntress Wizard responded. C-81 and Gnashteeth stare at each other, the elder realizing Gnashteeth's resemblance to him. "Is it you…?" C-81 muttered.
