Authors note: I do not own any of the original Galactic Football characters or the universe/franchise

This story is set after the Snowkids won the third GFC. In this story, Aarch and Adium's relationship has been accepted by the League, so Aarch is still the coach of the Snowkids, with Rocket as Assistant coach and captain of the team. And of course: no one has disappeared to a mysterious place somewhere in the galaxy…

Normal pov:

''Ok kids, listen up,'' Aarch called out in the space shuttle. ''It has been a long and trying season, but it turned out in our favor. No one has ever had the change, or honor to call themselves third time cup champions. You should all be really proud of yourselves, cause I know that I am! Bravo!'' he said and clapped.

Then D'Jok stood up: ''And we're proud that you're our coach. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for you, thank you for believing in us…for believing in me'', D'Jok said and bowed his head. He was still battling with the guilt after leaving the team, for team Paradisia.

Aarch put his hand on D'Jok's shoulder, ''D'Jok, you're an amazing footballer, and I understand why you did what you did. You know I did the same thing as you, but you're back now, and that's what matters''.
D'Jok looked up at the large man and smiled thankfully at him. ''Thanks, coach.'' Aarch replied by winking at him.

''Ok, so as the tradition says, the big six months after-celebration party, slash GF Award Show will be held tonight to celebrate our victory, and all the GFC teams will be there as always, so I expect you to behave and show up looking your best. Since it's the first time a team has ever been able to call themselves third time champions, the celebrations will be even bigger than usual. The league has ordered that everybody shows up dazzling. There will be loads of paparazzi, and I expect you all to behave perfectly with them. There will be professional stylists waiting for you at the academy, and they will be at your disposal from five. Guys, you can go down earlier as they have suits for you, but unfortunately for you girls, you'll have to go out dress shopping yourself", he said and looked apologetic at the teams three girls. Mei looked, noting but happy with that statement.

"It's perfectly fine coach, they probably wouldn't be able to do a good enough job on our part", she said and winked at him.

Aarch laughed at her statement. "You're probably right Mei. We'll be leaving at seven sharp, so don't even consider being one second late, or else you'll have to find a way to the show by yourself. That's it, we'll be back at the Aarch Academy in fifteen minutes, so you'll have the rest of day to unpack your stuff and get ready. I'll see you at seven,'' he finishes, and the entire team started screaming: ''GO SNOW GO!''

Tia pov:

We were now flying over the icy Akillian landscape. Every time we do that, it hits me how beautiful our planet actually is, even though it wasn't supposed to be covered in snow and ice. Suddenly I was ripped out of my thoughts, when someone poked my shoulder. I turned around and looked into a couple of icy blue eyes, Mei's eyes. Her face was one big smile. Oh god, I'm so happy that she's back on the team. How I missed her. ''Are you ready for tonight, Tia?'' she questioned, and I knew where she was going. She was going in that direction, so I could either play along or just ask her myself.

''Yeah, but Mei I was wondering if you would help me get ready? And besides I know you well enough to tell that you were going to ask me that question anyway.'' She blinked in surprise, but her smile suddenly grew wider.

''Off course I'll help you Tia!" she shrieked. "And yeah, you're right, I was going to ask you. But why do you suddenly want my help getting ready?'' she asked suspiciously, and I thought about it for a minute, before answering.

''I don't know, I…I just have this feeling that there is something special about tonight… that it's going to memorable.'' She thought about it for a second.

''Then we'll make you look your best!'' she stated happily. I moaned. Why did I just ask for my own death? I am not and will never be a girly girl. I am and will always be a tomboy. But I still couldn't shake off the feeling that something was going to happen tonight, something big, something life chancing…

Rocket pov:

''Tia…will you marry me? I love you more than football…'' No, no Rocket, then she'll first say no, if you compare your love for her to your love for football. I both mentally and psychical slapped myself. Gosh, how did guys manage to do this? And how can one question be so hard to ask? Maybe I should ask another guy's opinion? Yeah, I'll do that. But, who? I pondered it for a few seconds, running the guys through my head: D'Jok was not an option. He screwed up his relationship, and Micro-Ice is too much of a prankster to take it seriously. Ahito sleeps all the time, and Thran is working on the holo-trainer with Clamp. Then there is only Mark left…of course I should ask Mark. Yuki once mentioned he's a good listener and gives great advice. I rushed out of my room, but first making sure no one saw me. I walked across the hall and beeped his door. A voice called: ''Come in,'' and so I did. ''Rocket?'' he asked and got up from his bed, putting down the sports magazine he had been reading.

''Hey Mark. Look can I ask you something?''

''Sure, come on in,'' he smiled. I walked over to him and sat down on the edge of his bed. ''So, what's up?'' he asked.

''I…there is something I've been wondering about for quite some time now, but I don't know what to do. No actually it's more how to do it,'' I said, and he gave me a confused look.

''Well, you could start off by telling me, what you have in mind?''. His forehead furrowed, as he was trying to figure out my agenda.

''I've decided that I would like to ask Tia to marry me, and hopefully I would get to ask her tonight'' I confessed, and his jaw dropped. He was silent for a minute or two, while thinking about what I'd just told him. Then he smiled at me.

''Well, I can only say that it's about time!'' he said and caught me off guard, whilst he slapped my shoulder. When he saw my confused look, he explained: ''Look I'm actually surprised you're first considering asking her now. I mean, look at the two of you! You've been together for what, five years and you're crazy about each other. When you came back to the Snowkids, I thought that you would ask her there, but you didn't so I stopped thinking about it.''

''So, you think it's the right thing to do?'' I asked, and he gave me a funny look.

''Rocket…do you love her?'' he asked, and I immediately blurted out: ''Off course! I love her beyond everything, even my own life!''

''Then I think you just answered your own question for her. She feels the same way about you. Have you seen the way you two look at each other? I mean c'mon, if I didn't know that you weren't engaged yet, and I was just some random stranger, then I would believe that the two of you were already married,'' he said, which surprised me.

''You're serious?''

''Really,'' he said and winked at me. ''Trust me, you'll find a way to ask her. Just follow your heart,'' he said and lay back down on the pillow.

''Follow my heart,'' I mumbled when an idea suddenly came to me like a lightning. I stood up right away, exited like a five-year old at Christmas. ''I know how to ask her! Thanks Mark, you're the best!''

''Hey, my door is always open,'' he said with a wink, and I rushed out of the door, but suddenly thought of something and stopped in my tracks. I turned around and looked back over at him. He was waiting for me to tell him what had stopped me in my hurry. "Actually Mark, I think I could use some help. Up for the challenge?" I asked with a cryptic tone.

His face lit up instantly, "Sure! Yeah man, let's get you engaged!", he said and fist-pumped the air over him.
I winked at him and the left to go get ready for the night's big events…
