Chapter 4: Duel of the Assassins
The aura of the room had shifted from uneasy to overwhelming in that brief instant.
For Killua, it all unfolded in what looked like slow motion.
The menacing woman moved faster than he had expected, lunging towards him as she pulled out a curved black and purple blade from within her dress.
"Not bad."
Within the blink of an eye, Killua vanished from everyone's sight, and his attacker swung into empty space.
Felt and Rom turned their heads in shock to see Killua standing where the woman originally was, holding something grotesque that was disguised by what looked like fabric from the assassin's dress.
She turned her head revealing a look devoid of pain, showing only genuine astonishment.
"It's been awhile since I've done this trick, but I thought it was fitting for someone like you."
The pouch of fabric that Killua held grew darker, dyed with the crimson color of blood as whatever was inside continued to rhythmically pulsate.
"You… I… I underestimated you, boy."
She dropped to her knees, clutching the hole in her chest, as a sickening smile grew on her face.
Her hands dyed with the same crimson that Killua held, she raised one to her face, her smile never faltering.
"Here, you can have this back."
Killua tossed the pouch towards her, revealing the pulsating heart within as the fabric unfurled.
"Not that you deserve it, but why don't you tell me your name before you fade away? It's the least I can do to remember an enemy like yourself."
The sinister woman who was far too calm despite having her heart torn out moments ago, uttered one last sentence.
"Elsa... Elsa Greinhart. For a bowel hunter to die in such a fashion, I must admit, you are quite poetic with your methods…"
Having told her killer her name and passion, she eagerly awaited to learn the identity of the boy who had surpassed all her expectations.
"It was nothing personal. You're not the first to die at the hands of Killua Zoldyck, and unfortunately, you won't be the last."
He walked towards Elsa, and stepped on her still beating heart, creating a visceral popping sound that brought the two spectators of their brief fight back to reality.
As if symbolic of her own lifeforce depleting, Elsa fell backwards, the glimmer in her eyes having faded away into gray.
"Did… Did that really just happen?"
Felt stood dumbfounded at what she had witnessed. She knew this so-called Killua was insanely fast, but to move with such precision and ferocity, she realized that he had been merely toying with her earlier.
"Well, it's a damn good thing I didn't try fighting you!"
Rom said this with an uncomfortable laugh as he clutched at his own chest, a bead of sweat sliding down his forehead as he did so.
"You two held up quite well having just witnessed that, most people would be screaming or would've fainted by now."
"Hey, you see some gruesome stuff when you live in the slums. But this…"
Felt shuddered as she looked at the dead body of their would-be killer lying sprawled on the ground.
"This is certainly out of the ordinary…"
Rom had managed to calm himself down, and immediately began searching for his favorite booze behind the bar.
"If there's ever been an excuse to drink, I'd say this is a good one…"
"Rom, when have you ever needed an excuse for that?"
Despite the prior events, both Rom and Felt were able to have a genuine laugh over the whole situation.
"Well, I think that settles everything. If you two don't mind, I think I'll see myself out."
Before Killua could get to the door though, he felt the faintest shift in the atmosphere come from behind him.
His eyes widening at the realization, he hardened his Ken and tried to anticipate what was about to come.
A split second, a split second later and he may have lost his life.
Turning his head to the side as fast as he could without activating godspeed, he felt a blade graze right past his aura.
"Impossible!"
Jumping sideways towards the other end of the room, Killua saw what he couldn't begin to fathom.
Elsa, back on her feet, the hole in her chest completely healed over, with the same sinister smile as before.
"To think you'd be so alert even after assuming I was already dead. Killua, you are quite the specimen."
Killua had fought monsters among the chimera ants that defied the limits of human durability, but to see this kind of resilience from what he had assumed was a normal human woman, he couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing.
Is this some kind of post-mortem nen ability? No, her aura had diminished entirely, and the thought of nen being able resurrect someone like that, it…
It shouldn't be possible!
He quickly assumed a defensive stance as his inhuman attacker lunged towards him once again, this time at a speed that far surpassed her initial attempt.
She aimed this attack at his abdomen, fitting for someone who described herself as a "bowel hunter".
Killua was pushing the limits of his normal reaction speed without using godspeed at this point, he knew he had to end this fight before things got out of hand.
Even if these two do make a living from stealing, it'd be wrong for someone who made a living off of killing to condemn them to die to this woman…
"This time, I won't leave you with anything to regenerate from."
Elsa appeared shocked as her attack came up short by a mere inch, and looked into the eyes of her would-be victim.
They looked devoid of all emotion, besides one.
The intent to kill her with everything he had.
It's been awhile since I've flipped my switch…
"The snake awakens!"
As Killua said this, his arms changed form into the deadly sharp claws that had killed many in the past, and began waving wildly with blinding speed.
Elsa had a mere moment to realize her fate as her attacking arm was shredded into a mist of blood and gore.
She attempted to jump back to save the rest of her body, but the speed at which Killua moved was overwhelming.
Next, her other arm was reduced to nothing as well, followed by her chest cavity being nearly torn open in its entirety.
As she stumbled backwards, paralyzed by the ferocity of the attack, Killua dashed towards her with one final swipe of his hand, cleaving through her neck, and sending her head flying.
Try and regenerate from THAT…
Killua looked down at the gruesome remains of his victim, kicking her lifeless torso across the room in one final act of annoyance.
"You can rest in peace over where your head is, consider it one last act of kindness."
At this point, Rom and Felt couldn't believe what they had just seen. The boy who had previously ripped out her heart in a single move had just eviscerated the resurrected killer with seemingly inhuman claw-like hands.
"I don't know who I should be more afraid of at this point…"
Felt fell backwards onto her butt in pure shock, the scene that had occured before her being too much to take in.
Rom moved to help her up, keeping a suspicious eye on Killua who was once again nonchalantly standing with his hands in his pockets.
"I think it's best that you leave. I'll burn the vampire's body to make sure it doesn't wind up coming back for a third time, so don't worry about us."
The term "vampire" piqued Killua's interest, but he was no biologist, and certainly couldn't gather any useful information from studying Elsa's body, so he obliged with the giant's request.
"I've fought enemies that could survive without a heart, but even they couldn't get back up after decapitation. I'll leave the corpse for you to deal with, and sorry for causing all of this, but really, if you hadn't stolen the insignia, this wouldn't have happened either."
Felt was still too shocked to argue with him, so she kept quiet and accepted the blame for bringing both killers into her place of business.
"Well, it was a pleasure doing business with you two."
With that, he made his way out the door, taking one last look at the dismembered mess that was Elsa's corpse in the corner.
It didn't seem like she was using nen of any kind, yet her speed and ability to conceal her presence says otherwise…
Killua was erring on the side of her just being a natural prodigy, unaware of the existence of nen, similar to himself and Gon before they had entered heaven's arena together.
I feel if she had a hatsu, she would've used it in that battle… Although I guess I didn't use my hatsu, so I can't be certain…
While she had been able to push Killua to his physical limits, he wanted to refrain from using any of his hatsu abilities given the absence of any electrical sources to recharge from. Not only that, he didn't want to reveal his core abilities to anyone in this new place either.
The last thing I need is to wind up on the radar of someone worse than her… Especially if I didn't have access to my hatsu…
Right before he was about to take off into a sprint towards the rendezvous point, he heard a blood curdling scream from inside the loot house.
"Old man Rom? What the hell is happening in there!?"
There was only one possibility, yet he didn't want to accept it as reality.
Nonetheless, Killua sprinted back into the loot-house, slamming the door open to see a horrifying scene.
Rom stood aghast, looking down at the stump where his right arm previously was, blood oozing out of the wound.
Standing across from him was a fully recovered Elsa, with no scars to show the prior fatal damage she had taken.
"What the hell are you?! I cut your head off, you don't just come back from that!"
Elsa laughed sheepishly as she licked the fresh blood from her blade, staring Killua down intently.
"It would seem we both underestimated each other. Believe me, there's no one here whose guts I wish to see more than yours, but this giant had to suffice for the meantime."
This doesn't make any sense! I rip out her heart, she comes back, I cut off her head, and she still comes back!
How…
How do I beat her?!
Killua knew he still had the edge in skill, but if he couldn't put her down for good, it would be the end for both Felt and Rom, as well as having her always on his tail.
No, there's no point in running now… I have to finish this…
"Now, shall we resume our battle?"
Elsa said this as she pounced towards Killua, except this time, she leapt away right before reaching him.
She began bouncing around the entire room, becoming a blur that only appeared as streaks jumping from wall to wall, from the floor to the ceiling, over and over again.
"Felt, get Rom out of here and tend to his wounds, this is gonna get ugly!"
Realizing she was far out of her depth, Felt led the gravely injured Rom towards the back of the loot-house, likely using the secret exit that Killua speculated about when he first arrived.
"Not so fast!"
All while continuing her dizzying assault, Elsa threw several daggers towards the escaping duo.
Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Killua activated godspeed for the briefest moment to get himself between the projectiles and their targets, intercepting them between each of his fingers with ease.
"You can have these back."
With force surpassing that of a bullet, Killua launched the daggers back towards Elsa, managing to hit her with two of them despite her rapid movement.
That won't even slow her down considering the damage she's already recovered from…
And there has to be some kind of limit to this power, but I don't have the time to keep killing her over and over until something changes!
More blades came flying his way from what felt like every direction as Elsa continued her animalistic pouncing around the room.
She thinks she can find an opening like this, which might be true if I didn't have godspeed to react for me…
I can't rely on it though, who knows when I might need my hatsu in the future without any way to recharge?
A shift in Elsa's movements pulled Killua out of his own thoughts as she suddenly charged straight at him, launching off the opposite wall, her form concealed by a long dark cloak.
Wanting to conserve his aura, he pulled out his trusty fifty kilogram yo-yos and prepared to intercept her with a brutal swing.
However, when Killua went to swing towards the cloaked attacker coming straight at him, he realized the error he had made.
She isn't in the cloak! It's just one of her daggers behind it that's propelling it towards me!
That means…
As he rounded his head expecting the worst, he was nearly face to face with Elsa, who had discarded her cloak as a feint to distract him from her true location.
Behind him.
"Oh no-"
As Killua strengthened his Ken to its limits, and tried to intercept the assassin with his yo-yos, he realized he wouldn't make it in time.
Bracing for the impact, he suddenly felt another projectile breeze right past his face, halting Elsa's assault.
Was that… an icicle?
Both Killua and Elsa jumped away from each other and turned towards the direction the attack had come from, the sight of which made Killua breathe a sigh of relief.
Standing at the entrance to the loot house was none other than Gon, Emilia, and Puck.
"You're welcome for the save, Killua!"
The cheerful floating cat made the first introduction among the newcomers to the battle.
"I would've been fine, but you guys got here in the nick of time."
Not that he needs to know, but I probably wouldn't have been…
Gon gave him a thumbs up and ran next to him, ready to help Killua turn the tide in this fight.
"Puck, Emilia, I don't know what kind of powers you two have, but if you've got anything in the way of healing, head out back and help the wounded giant. He's losing blood fast."
Emilia was about to interject, believing that she would be of more help in the fight directly, but Puck cut her off.
"Lia, I can tell these two have fought together plenty of times. They can handle it, let's go do the part that only we can, ok?"
With a look of worry in her eyes, Emilia nodded and ran back out the front door, not before giving some words of encouragement though.
"If you two need any help, just yell for me! I can send Puck if you need backup, too!"
Killua looked to his best friend standing beside him, and knew that there was no way this so-called "vampire" would be able to best the both of them.
"You got it, but don't worry about us! We've fought way worse than this thing!"
The words Gon spoke couldn't be more accurate. While it was true they were up against a vicious and unrelenting foe, compared to the King and his royal guards, she wasn't terrifying in the least.
"Listen up Gon, I've already tried ripping out her heart and decapitating her, yet she was able to regenerate from both. My theory is that we have to hit her with enough force that her healing factor can't overcome it."
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Killua nodded, and got ready to put their unspoken plan into action. Their teamwork was strong enough that no explanation was needed.
"Alright, let's go!"
Each boy took off in opposite directions, forcing Elsa to split her focus between them.
Killua ran out the door, which to Elsa made it seem like he was fleeing, but she knew he wasn't the type to abandon such a fight.
Running straight towards her, Gon began exchanging a series of blows with Elsa, who attempted to block his punches with her blades.
"Careful boy, you might cut yourself on these!"
Despite her playful words, Elsa was genuinely shocked when the young boy punched straight through her blades, shattering them into pieces.
"Not so scary without your weapons, huh?"
Gon's childlike teasing elicited a laugh from Elsa as she pulled out two more blades from underneath her dress, these ones black and white respectively.
As Gon continued his assault, he realized that these blades were much sturdier than the ones from before, yet he pressed the advantage nonetheless.
"I must say, you pack more power than your friend Killua, yet it seems you can't compare to his speed!"
Immediately after saying this, Elsa phased out of Gon's sight, appearing behind him ready to cut him open.
Instinctively, Gon flipped onto his hands and kicked backwards as hard as he could, launching a startled Elsa towards the opposite end of the loot house.
"Killua! NOW!"
As Gon called out to his friend, the roof above Elsa broke inwards, blown away by a massive bolt of energy.
"THUNDERBOLT!"
Descending from above the loot house, Killia let loose one of his signature techniques, which sent a paralyzing amount of electricity coursing through Elsa's body in the form of a lightning strike.
As expected, the stunned assassin was unable to move, which gave Gon the opening he needed.
"First comes rock…"
Gon had assumed a crouched stance with one fist at his side, and as he spoke, an aura of glowing orange energy enveloped his hand, growing larger with each passing moment.
"Rock!"
The orb of energy encircling Gon's fist grew even brighter and more intense. A rumbling throughout the loot house could be felt by all those inside, which even caused planks from throughout the building to begin coming loose.
"Paper!"
The power concentrated in his fist reached its climax, giving off enough energy that a torrent of wind was blowing through any opening the loot house had, even punching new holes in places where the energy had no means to escape.
"ROCK!"
Gon launched towards the still paralzyed Elsa, planting his glowing fist right underneath her chin, and punching upwards with all the strength he had.
Her body contorted beyond what a normal human would be able to endure, and the sheer power behind the attack launched her through the roof, sending her flying into the sky until she disappeared from sight.
Finally, the torrent of gale force winds subsided, with the loot house barely still standing after withstanding the incredible amount of energy.
Everything was silent for a moment, until Killua hopped down from the top of the roof.
"That was awesome Gon! You sent her so far I couldn't even see her in the sky once she was far enough!"
The two best friends high fived after a successful tag team, and ran around to the back of the loot house to see how everyone else was faring.
They came upon the shocked eyes of Emilia, Felt, and Puck. Rom was unconscious, but it was clear that Emilia was somehow able to heal over the wound of his severed arm.
"What… What was that? I've never seen magic like that in my entire life! You two are incredible!"
Puck nodded in agreement with Emilia, looking at the two boys before her in a new light.
"I've been around a long time, and even I thought those techniques were out of this world."
Felt merely looked on in astonishment, wondering how fate would have it that she crossed paths with these two strange and powerful boys.
"What can we say, this is par for the course for us."
"Yeah! We said we were pro hunters, remember? We were just doing our job."
While Emilia and Puck still had no frame of reference for what kind of job a "pro hunter" was, it was clear to them that those who went by that title were not people to be trifled with.
"I guess you were right when you said you didn't need our help, thanks for taking care of that."
Before Killua or Gon could acknowledge her thanks, someone unknown came running towards them.
"Was there an explosion? What happened over here? Is everyone alright?"
The man that now stood before them had a messy crop of bright red hair, a formal looking white uniform, and an exquisite sword holstered at his hip.
What caused the two hunters to step back in awe though, was the torrentuous aura flowing off of him.
It was as if he was in a constant state of ren, and it was more aura than they had ever seen, possibly even greater than what they had felt from the King of the Chimera ants in the past.
The main difference between them though, was that this aura was entirely pure, not a drop of evil intent present in it.
The fact that everyone around them was not as shocked clued them into the fact that only they were aware of the massive power this unbecoming man was hiding.
Shaking off his startled reaction, Killua spoke up for the group.
"We had a run in with someone called Elsa Granhiert, she called herself the bowel hunter."
The man had a look of shock after learning what happened before he had arrived on the scene.
"You fought the bowel hunter, and lived? Did she retreat? What has become of her?"
Everyone present looked towards the sky and pointed roughly in the direction that Gon had launched her.
"I punched her really hard, hard enough that it sent her flying beyond our range of vision. If she managed to survive that, she won't be coming back any time soon."
The look of shock on the man's face shifted into bewildered laughter.
"Under any other circumstance, I'd assume you were joking, but not only do you sound genuine…"
He turned his head to look at the carnage that befell the loot house, and even picked up a ruined blade of Elsa's that had been blown away during Gon's attack.
"But this is a weapon only used by the bowel hunter herself. I'm not sure how you all survived, but on my honor as the sword saint, I must thank you for doing my duty in my absence."
The title of sword saint only left Gon and Killua more confused, but the others all seemed to recognize him immediately.
"The sword saint!? That means, you're Reinhard Van Astrea!"
"Why would you be all the way out in the slums?"
Emilia and Felt let out their bewildered questions, while Puck remained silent, smiling wryly.
"I was finishing my rounds of the city, as one of my roles is the captain of the Royal guard, and I saw a massive flash of lightning, followed by what felt like an explosion, even from hundreds of meters away."
"I never would have thought the bowel hunter was involved, nor that you two would've been responsible for such extraordinary attacks."
Wait a minute, he saw my lightning? Now that he mentions it, did everyone else see the lightning? Only nen users should be able to see my attacks, even if they appear as electricity, it's still merely aura that I've transmuted into another form…
I'll have to investigate this phenomenon later, but the possible explanation confounds me…
Gon didn't seem to pick up on this observation, that, or he was choosing to keep it to himself as well.
"It wasn't a big deal sir, we were just doing our job as pro-hunters!"
"Pro… hunters?"
It would seem the so-called sword saint with his massive aura doesn't even know about the hunter association… Just where the hell are we?
"It's a long explanation, but I promise you these boys are both good hearted. They went out of their way to make sure these two were safe, even though they were involved with stealing my insignia."
Emilia immediately vouched for the two pro-hunters, not only after promising to help her with nothing to gain, but even putting their lives on the line in the process.
"Speaking of which, I think it's about time you get this back."
As Killua reached into his pocket, his eyes went wide in disbelief.
"The insignia, I know I put it in my pocket earlier, could it have fallen out during the fight?"
Before anyone could try and answer his question, his eyes immediately centered on Felt, who he realized had been trying to duck away while everyone was distracted.
He phased out of everyone's vision, and reappeared behind her, grabbing her by the wrist, which held the coveted insignia.
"Really? Even after all that, you thought you could get one by me?"
Felt tried with all her might to break free of his grip, yet every attempt of escape she made resulted in Killua clamping down on her wrist harder, to the point that it became painful.
"Please! None of you understand, this insignia was my ticket out of this life, why can't you just let me get away!?"
Before Killua could chide her for her selfish attitude, Reinhard let out a gasp and ran over to them.
He looked closely at the insignia in Felt's hand, which Killua now realized had begun to blow from the gem in its center.
"There's no doubt… I can't believe it."
The sudden shift from the previously stoic sword saint put everyone present on edge, but no one more than Felt herself.
"You there, what's your name?"
"Uh, it's Felt."
"And your family name? How old are you?"
What's with this sudden line of questioning? Is it really so significant that the tiny gem in this thing started glowing?
"I- I don't have anything fancy like a family name! And I'm about fifteen… I think. I don't know my birthday."
The concerned look from Reinhard did not cease, instead he turned his attention to Killua, who still had a grip on Felt.
"Young man, I'm going to have to ask you to release her. She'll be coming with me."
Where the sword saint planned to take her, or what he planned to do, was unknown to everyone else.
Yet ultimately, this wasn't an issue Killua wanted to involve himself in. Especially after witnessing the hurricane-like aura that Reinhard possessed.
"Sure thing boss. As long as Emilia gets her insignia back."
As he said this, Killua snatched the insignia back with his free hand, and released her to the custody of the sword saint.
"Killua, are you sure about this? What if something bad happens to her?"
He had expected Gon to be hesitant about his decision, even after all the trouble this girl had put them through.
"Listen Gon, you felt this guy's aura right? That should be more than enough reason to listen to him."
Even Emilia looked concerned for the girl's wellbeing, which spoke to her kind nature given the events of the past day.
"Reinhard, is this because she stole my insignia?"
"That is indeed no small crime, but it pales in comparison to the gravity of overlooking the crime unfolding before me right now."
A crime more serious than stealing the insignia? He's being too vague to know exactly what that could mean…
He had grabbed hold of Felt in a way similar to Killua, attempting to pull her along back towards the city.
"Please, you must come with me. I'm afraid I can't allow you to refuse."
After being humiliated more than once so far, Felt was at her breaking point and wasn't about to go with this so easily.
"Get over yourself! I don't care if you're the sword saint or-"
Before Felt could finish her tirade, Reinhard raised a hand to her face, and by the power of some invisible force, caused her to pass unconscious.
"That wasn't very knightly of you, Reinhard."
While Emilia knew Reinhard was someone of great reputation, she couldn't help but feel put off by what was unfolding before her.
"I was careful not to use too much, I promise. And Emilia, I'll likely be calling on you soon in the future. I hope you understand."
"As for you two, I must thank you once again for your actions today. I promise that I'll have a reward of some kind arranged, but currently, this girl must take precedence."
After apologizing for his unseemly actions, Reinhard scooped Felt up into his arms, and began making his way back towards the city proper.
Everyone else stood confused over what had just unfolded before them, but they all had to assume it was something beyond their frame of reference if the sword saint was so pressed about it.
"Emilia, catch."
Killua playfully tossed the insignia back to its original owner, who caught it despite the surprise throw.
Just as it had when Felt held it, the small gem in its center began to glow with a faint red hue.
That's peculiar, I wonder what conditions are required to cause it to glow? Eh, questions for later I guess…
"Gon, Killua, I… I don't know what I can do to thank you!"
Gon beamed a wide smile and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. Clearly receiving praise from a beautiful girl like Emilia was more than enough compensation for him.
For myself though, I'd like to take advantage of this if I can…
"Like we said from the start, it was no big deal. Albeit fighting that bowel hunter lady was unexpected, it was nothing Gon and I couldn't handle together."
"Yeah, you just seemed so sad when we first found you. Helping you get your insignia back was the only thing I could do!"
Emilia was too stunned to speak from their generosity, and by how they downplayed their nearly fatal encounter with the bounty hunter.
Floating beside her, Puck let out a long yawn as he floated over towards the boys.
"Listen you two, us spirits have a time limit for how long we can stay materialized. I know Lia already said so, but thanks for keeping her safe. Knowing her, she would've tried to fight Elsa on her own if you weren't here to begin with."
This elicited a contemptuous "hmph" from Emilia, who turned her head in embarrassment.
"I could've handled that fight on my own, I only let you guys deal with it so I could heal the injured man here."
Puck shrugged his shoulders in reply, and slowly began to turn translucent before everyone's eyes.
"Lia, I'll see you in the morning. Make sure these two are repaid for their efforts somehow, although I know you'd insist on that on your own."
As he turned nearly invisible, Puck scattered into countless particles of glowing green light, which all returned to a crystal around Emilia's neck.
"Woah, that was awesome. Spirits are so cool!"
Even Killua had to admit that there was an element of showmanship to Puck's departure, making him wonder if it was necessary, or if he just wanted to impress himself and Gon.
"Before we get to anything else, what are we gonna do about this guy?"
Killua looked down at the unconscious form of old man Rom, who was somehow still alive, despite a wound that normally would lead to fatal blood loss.
There's no tourniquet or anything, it's like the wound healed over entirely in the brief time we were fighting…
I'll have to ask about that later, for now, we've gotta figure out what to do next…
"It's a shame, but he was involved in a crime. We'll have to bring him to the nearest knight's station and explain the situation, and we can discuss details of your repayment along the way."
Killua internally rubbed his hands together at the thought of reparations for getting involved in this whole debacle, but he knew he'd be hard pressed to try and get much with Gon here.
"Emilia, you don't have to do anything crazy for us. We weren't lying when we said stuff like this is our job."
"Gon, I know that's technically true, but we don't have access to the hunter's association here. We can't get paid for stopping Elsa from them, and we don't have access to our hunter privileges here either."
This hard dose of reality hit Gon immediately as he remembered the greater situation that he and Killua found themselves in.
"Oh, you're right. Hey, Emilia. If you really want to help us out, do you think you could give us a place to stay while we get back on our feet?"
Of all the things Killua thought about asking for, he had to admit that at least Gon thought of something relatively useful.
"Of course! It's the least I can do for you guys. I know the lord of my estate won't have a problem with it, especially after he finds out what you did for me. Come on, let's deal with this man, and then we can take a dragon carriage back to Roswaal manor."
"Dragon carriage?"
"Roswaal manor?"
Despite the foriegn terms that Emilia had used in her agreement, both Gon and Killua were happy enough knowing they'd have a place to sleep in this bizarre new world.
And a manor? It sounds like we're gonna be living in style!
…
