Episode Four: Martono vs Sashanne

"Marcy," sighed Ash, "I'm so glad we could do this." "Me too," admitted Marcy as she took a bite of her microwaved Mac and Cheese, "It may not be the most orthodox date of all, but it's good to do something like this every now and again." "Agreed," stated Ash, raising her mac and cheese cup as a toast. Marcy did the same. Sasha and Anne then barrelled through the kitchen shooting Nerf guns at each other. Anne used her arm to pull a pan that was on the counter to her and use it as a shield, deflecting the foam bullets onto Marcy. Sasha growled and parkoured off the countertops and tackled Anne, tumbling back into the kitchen. Ash picked some Nerf bullets out of her dinner and glanced at Marcy. They both nodded at each other and threw away what was left of their dinner.

"We gotta score them a real date," groaned Ash. "Or at least find them a babysitter while we have ours." "Do you really think we need a babysitter?" questioned Anne. "Maybe you two need a babysitter," added Sasha, "Maybe having someone watching you would keep you two from going 'out' on a 'date' every single day." "We don't go on a date every single day!" defended Ash. "Monday," stated Sasha.

Ash and Marcy stared at each other across the table while the candlelight flickered. Marcy sighed dreamily as they ate their steak. Anne and Sasha silently awed at this scene.

"That one was actually cute," defended Anne, "But Tuesday!"

Ash smiled up at Marcy as they laid on the couch, Ash's head laying across Marcy's lap. "Isn't this movie just amazing?" asked Marcy. "Yeah," replied Ash, "I guess War of the Warlocks is pretty good. And I also guess there's still some Disney knockoffs in this world." "Disney whatnow?" asked Marcy. "I'll explain later," clarified Ash. "Hey!" exclaimed Anne excitedly, "Mine and Sasha's favorite show is coming on! Can we please borrow the TV?" "Sorry guys," said Marcy, "But Ash and I are on a movie date tonight." "Oh," sighed Anne, sadly leaving the room. "What did they say?" asked Sasha as Anne walked back into the kitchen. "You shall not pass," Anne sighed, "It's 'cause they're having a movie date." "Didn't they have an adorable date last night?" questioned Sasha.

"And then there was Wednesday, Thursday, and now Today!" exclaimed Sasha. "We do date a lot Mí Amor," realized Ash. "And what are you suggesting?" asked Marcy. "We're just suggesting you limit your dating to at least like, once every other week," stated Anne, "Make it special, while also letting us do the things we do." "Oh yeah!" Ash exclaimed, "You two never went on your first date!" "Yeah we have," Sasha said blankly, "Ours are just a little different than yours." "Remember that time we went to go do lazer tag?" asked Anne, "We left you two here and destroyed a bunch of kids with our real life battle skills." "I think your arm mainly helped," said Sasha, patting Anne's metal arm. "And your knack for battle strategy!" argued Anne. "Wait," realized Marcy, "Your first date… was lazer tag!?" "Yeah?" questioned Sasha, "What's wrong with that?" "Nothing is," said Ash, "Marcy just found it a bit unorthodox." "Well we're not exactly the most orthodox group of people," argued Sasha, "I mean, an inter-dimensional hero and a cartoon character is also unorthodox." "I didn't mean to offend you, Sash," Marcy clarified, "It just surprised me." "Not all dates involve food, candles, and red roses," stated Anne. "Fun fact, red roses are actually breakup flowers," Marcy added. Sasha growled and flipped the table. She then stormed out of the room. "I'll handle this," sighed Anne, following her girlfriend.

Marcy sighed and held her head in her hands. "You okay?" asked Ash, sitting down beside her. "Yeah," she replied, "I just feel bad. I hurt them…" "Hey," said Ash, "Anne and Sasha have a bad history, and you thought that fighting was an unorthodox first date. You were just speaking your mind." Anne and Sasha walked back out and sat down beside them. "I'm sorry for freaking out," breathed Sasha. "Don't be," sighed Marcy, "I'm sorry. If you two wanna make your first date a lazer tag battle, go ahead, it honestly sounds fun. And exactly your style." "Thanks," sighed Sasha. "Hey!" gasped Anne, "Maybe we could all go on a double date sometime!" "Yeah!" agreed Ash, "We could go do some kind of competitive sport thing to work up our appetites and then get food!" "Sounds good," laughed Sasha. "I like it," said Marcy. Anne and Ash then stood up and walked inside, secretly high fiving each other on the way.
