The doctor, a blonde alien was walking through the TARDIS, Yaz had wanted to meet up with Graham and Ryan so the doctor waved her off and headed back to the TARDIS.
"So just me and you then." The doctor said speaking to the TARDIS.
"It'll be fine. Yaz will be back any minute now." They said, speaking to the TARDIS but also herself.
Suddenly a bright orange light flashed at the top of the screen.
"Oh yes this, I suppose I have time to do call, must always help anyone in need."
The doctor piloted it to the coordinates of the distress call.
The doctor, a grey curly haired alien was in the TARDIS. Nardole and Bill were studying for the doctor's exam. Not that they need to, they'll pass them anyway but it was just to have peace and quiet around here.
"So, I need to practice playing my guitar."
The TARDIS made a noise like it was disagreeing with the Doctor.
"What do you mean you don't like it? I don't have anywhere else to practice it do I?"
The TARDIS made another noise
"Drop that attitude,miss."
Another noise happened but this one wasn't coming from the TARDIS but from a doctor quickly ran to the screen."Distress call coming from the planet you just really don't want me to play guitar don't you? "
The doctor pressed a lever on his console and the machine flew.
The blonde alien, called thirteen by some landed the machine. "Oh brain's gone a little foggy, well more than usual." They muttered out loud. They opened the door and discovered they were on a brown ish world that looked completely in rocks, ash in the sky. The Doctor could sense something happened here but they didn't know exactly what. That was the bit that was troubling them, why didn't they know? They should have,Thirteen should know but they didn't.
The grey haired alien, called Twelve by some landed on Hovox. "An distress call, by someone who knew how to get to the TARDIS,be prepared for anything. A trap. Doesn't feel like a trap."
The Doctor walked outside and noticed a blonde woman staring at him. "Blondie, what are you looking at?"
"Sorry, it's just those eyebrows. They're really something. Never expected to see them up close."
Twelve then had a moment of realisation. The blonde woman was The Doctor. "So, I'm still not ginger then."
"You haven't been blonde for quite a while, it's a nice change of pace. I'm not wearing any celery this time."
"And what's with the rejected art teacher look?"
"Hey, at least I don't look like a kid's birthday's magician"
"Did you get sent a distress call as well?"
"Yes, a distress call but not a different one, the same one."
"The same distress call sent to two different doctors at the same time? How could that work? The skill required-"
"Would be immense. I know, not everything you say has to be a monologue."
Twelve looked shocked at thirteen for saying that.
The doctors looked around Hovox, the floor and sky were both the same colour, dark brown. If there were any clouds in the sky, the dark brown sky was covering them.
Everything was in ruins. A city stood before everything was destroyed.
"This is a battlefield." Twelve said, shocked at what he was looking at.
"What were they battling against though?" Thirteen asked.
The Doctors heard something coming, it wasn't footsteps. It was the sliding of metal on a rocky ground.
"No, it can't be" The doctors said at the same time.
"Exterminate all surviving lifeforms that are not pure. Daleks will be superior"
