It was Monday morning as the school bus pulled into the school, dropping students off. Naruto and Sasuke stepped off the yellow bus, hand in hand. They stood near the doorway and turned to face each other.
Naruto gave the raven a sad smile, gently swinging their hands together. "I guess this is it, huh?"
Sasuke frowned. "I guess so."
"I'll miss you." Naruto stood up on his tiptoes, placing a soft kiss against his lips. He pulled away and let go of the raven's hands, taking a step back. "Now go before I change my mind." He gestured with his head as he noticed Sakura and Ino walking towards them.
"See you later." Sasuke began to walk towards the two girls. Naruto watched as he stopped, the three seeming to talk before both girls grabbed onto pale arms and they walked towards the school. As they passed, Sasuke sent him a sympathetic look as Sakura stuck out her tongue.
Naruto rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. He was about to start walking away when a hand was placed on his shoulder. He looked up to see Itachi, a glare set on his face, directed at Sasuke and the girls.
"I knew it wouldn't last long." Itachi commented, disdain in his voice.
Naruto scrunched his nose up in confusion. "What?"
Itachi looked down at the blonde, his face softening. "His promise to you."
"Oh." Naruto gave the older raven a sad smile. "No, it's nothing like that." He assured. "Ino and Sakura have been bothering me about Sasuke hanging out with me. And since I don't want the whole school finding out I'm pregnant, and to avoid any potential violent situations, we comprised and agreed that Sasuke should just give in to their demands and hang out with them."
Itachi's eyes widened briefly in shock before he cleared his throat. "Kind of unfair, don't you think?"
Naruto just shrugged in response.
Itachi silently looked over the blonde. "Well, I guess we should go in, huh?"
They walked through the entrance, Itachi walking him to his locker. "Will you be okay with all of this?"
"I'm kinda forced to be." Naruto dryly chuckled. He was suddenly stopped as Itachi reached out for his hand.
"If you ever need anything," raven eyes locked onto cerulean as he stared at Naruto intensely. "I'm here to talk."
Naruto didn't respond, instead staring at their hands.
The bell rang and Naruto was shaken out of his staring. He shook his head before pulling his hands out of Itachi's grip. "Thanks." He quickly turned, deciding he could skip out on going to his locker, and made his way to his first class.
At lunch, Naruto sighed deeply as he sat down at the usual lunch table he and Gaara shared, though the red-head was nowhere to be found. He held his head in his hand as he glanced over at the table that Sasuke was sitting at. He smiled to himself as he noticed the raven pretty much only paying attention to his food, and not the two gabbing girls next to him.
Naruto then smirked as he remembered seeing Sasuke and Sakura in the lunch line earlier, Sakura trying her hardest to get Sasuke to respond and him not giving her the time of day. At least Sakura wasn't getting exactly what she wanted from this whole ordeal.
He sighed loudly once again, frowning. He sure did miss the raven.
"Why do you look so sad?" Gaara asked, appearing in front of the blonde silently. He sat down as Naruto looked up at him.
"Sasuke and I decided to just give Sakura what she wants. So now, Sasuke is hanging out with them."
Gaara turned in his seat to look over at Ino, Sakura and Sasuke before turning back to face the blonde, a smirk present on his face. "At least he doesn't look happy about it."
"
Naruto narrowed his eyes at Gaara as the red-head snickered in response.
"Naruto!" The blonde turned to see Kiba waving ecstatically, walking towards them, Hinata trailing behind him.
"Hey Kiba, hey Hinata." Naruto greeted them with a bright smile as they approached the table. "This is my best friend, Gaara Sabaku." He gestured towards the red-head who nodded. "Gaara, these are my new friends, Kiba Inuzuka and Hinata Hyuuga."
Gaara sat up straighter, a curious look on his face as he studied Hinata. "Hyuuga? Do you happen to be related to Neji Hyuuga?"
Hinata nodded her head. "Yeah, wh-why do you ask?"
Pale cheeks tinted a light shade of pink that went unnoticed by Kiba and Hinata, but cerulean eyes narrowed in suspicion. "I was just curious."
Naruto perked up in his seat before an all-knowing smirk grew on his face. "Oh! Gaara, you have a crush on Neji!" He exclaimed.
Gaara let out a growl, lifting his arm, hand raised in a fist when Naruto shook his finger at him,his smirk growing. He discreetly pointed at his stomach. The red-head glared harshly before slamming his fist on the table, causing Hinata to jump. "You'll pay for that." He hissed out.
Kiba smiled brightly at Gaara. "Don't worry, I'll put in a good word to Neji for you."
Gaara gave him an unimpressed look.
"I'll put in a good word for you." Hinata spoke up, placing her hand on Kiba's arm as he frowned.
"Yeah! We'll be like your wingman! Like how Sasuke was for me." Kiba stated proudly. He looked around the table before his eyes stopped on Naruto, giving him a confused look. "Speaking of Sasuke, where is he?"
Naruto pointed towards the table behind them and both Hinata and Kiba turned to look to see Sasuke sitting with Sakura and Ino. They turned back with frowns on their face.
"I still don't get it." Kiba commented, shaking his head.
Naruto let out a deep sigh and rested his head on his fist. "They were giving me hell for "keeping Sasuke to myself". I didn't want to deal with it so that's why he's hanging out with them."
"Just ignore them." Kiba waved him off. He gave him a toothy grin. "Don't let two stuck-up, dumb bitches ruin your love life!"
Naruto just shook his head. "Trust me. It's better than dealing with whatever type of shit they would've done afterwards."
Hinata nodded her head, giving Naruto a sympathetic smile. "No, I completely get it and honestly, it's probably exactly what I would do."
"Thanks Hinata." Naruto gave her a smile.
By the end of the week, Naruto has been feeling lonelier and lonelier during school. As soon as the two of them would get home, Naruto would cling to Sasuke's side, never leaving the raven's side. Sasuke was reveling in the attention and would complain to Naruto about his day with Ino and Sakura.
As the alarm went off Friday morning, the blonde awoke with wide eyes as a bout of nausea hit him hard. He threw the covers off himself, smacking the raven in the face as he was beginning to sit up, and quickly ran to the bathroom.
Sasuke looked on in concern as the sounds of Naruto throwing up could be heard from the closed bathroom door. He stood up and walked over to the door. "Hey, you okay?"
"Does it sound like I'm okay?" Naruto growled out.
Sasuke frowned at the response. "Sorry. Is there something I can get you?"
The toilet flushed and there was no response from the blonde. Just as he was about to knock on the door, it opened revealing the disheveled blonde who leaned against the doorframe. "I'm sorry. I just really don't feel good this morning."
Sasuke smiled softly at him before gently pulling the blonde into his chest, placing a gentle kiss into golden locks. "Don't worry about it. Is there anything I can do for you to make you feel better?" He rested his chin on top of his head, rocking him slowly.
"No." He answered, sighing at Sasuke's comforting gesture. "But I think I'm going to sleep in and just rest today."
Sasuke pulled the blonde away from him. "Do you want me to skip school with you?"
Naruto smiled up at him. "No you don't have to do that. Besides, someone's gotta pick up my homework, right?"
Sasuke smirked. "Of course, even though you probably won't do it anyways."
Naruto playfully slapped Sasuke before pulling himself away from the raven and started walking to the bed. "Now go get ready and go to school."
"Are you sure?" He raised an eyebrow in concern.
Naruto nodded as he pulled the covers up to his chin. "I'll be fine. I'm just going to be sleeping most of the day."
Sasuke let out a sigh. "Alright if you say so." He walked into the bathroom and began to get ready. By the time he was finished and he walked out, Naruto was fast asleep, loud snores filling the silence of the room. He walked up to the sleeping blonde before placing a kiss on his forehead and heading out the door.
Naruto once again woke up as a strong wave of nausea coursed through him. Quickly, he sprung up and threw the blankets off himself, practically sprinting to the bathroom. He emptied the contents of his stomach, hacking violently. He groaned loudly as his stomach kept dry heaving.
A knock came from the closed bathroom door and Naruto glanced at it, a confused look on his face. "Hold on." He flushed the toilet and then quickly rinsed his mouth before opening the door to see Itachi standing in the doorway.
"Itachi?" Naruto was shocked to see the older raven. "Aren't you supposed to be in school?"
Itachi gave him a shrug, a superior smirk on his face. "Every once in a while I skip Fridays. I can easily make up the day and sometimes I just want time to myself."
Naruto let out a laugh. "I didn't realize you were such a bad boy."
Itachi gave him a smirk and opened his mouth to respond, when Naruto's eyes widened and he quickly ran back into the bathroom, once again throwing up.
Itachi frowned before going into the bathroom, he placed a hand on the blonde's back when Naruto tried to brush him off.
"I'm okay." Naruto weakly groaned out. "I'm fine." He then proceeded to dry heave and groaned loudly at the feeling of the stomach cramps.
"Well, it seems like you need something to eat." Itachi pointed out and stood up straight. "I'll make you some chicken noodle soup."
"You don't have to do that." Naruto lightly shook his head, trying to control his breathing.
"I want to." Came the reply.
Naruto stood up on shaky legs and walked over to the sink where he proceeded to rinse out his mouth before facing Itachi.
"And besides," Itachi took a step closer to the blonde, a genuine smile on his face. "I want my niece to be strong and healthy." He placed a gentle hand on the blonde's lower stomach where the small bulge was.
Naruto blushed at the touch when suddenly, he was swept off his feet being carried bridal style by Itachi. His eyes widened as he instinctively wrapped his arms around the older Uchiha's neck. "Wh-what are you doing?!"
"Bringing you back to bed of course." Itachi smirked down at the blonde before beginning the short walk to the bed.
"But why? I can walk on my own." Naruto commented.
"I know that. Throwing up can be exhausting. I just want to help."
The blonde said nothing as a blush covered his cheeks and he hid his face in Itachi's chest. The older Uchiha smirked.
He brought the blonde to the bed, tucking him in carefully. Naruto sighed in content, muttering out a 'thank you.'
"I'll be back with that soup." Itachi smiled before heading down to the kitchen.
As soon as Itachi left, Naruto closed his eyes, feeling himself begin to drift off. It felt like he was only asleep for ten seconds when he was being shaken awake. Through a sleep-driven haze, he looked through blurred eyes and smiled as he saw Sasuke sitting in front, a bowl of soup with him.
The raven was blowing on the spoon, cooling the soup down before bringing the utensil to the blonde's lips. Naruto slowly slurped the soup before biting down on the spoon, shooting the raven a seductive look.
Itachi tried to pull the spoon back, confused about Naruto's behavior. Suddenly, Naruto sat up, reaching his hand out and placing it on the back of Itachi's head and pulled him close, kissing him passionately.
Itachi was shocked and quickly pulled himself away, causing the blonde to groan in disappointment. As quickly as he could, Itachi moved the bowl out of the way before climbing onto the bed and returning the passionate kiss that the blonde gave him earlier.
The two began to kiss, exploring each other's mouth when Itachi slowly pulled away and began to place soft kisses along Naruto's jawline and down his neck.
Naruto moaned as a wave of pleasure washed over his body. "Sasuke." He hissed out.
Itachi stopped, sitting up straight and scrunching his face up in confusion. "Sasuke?"
Finally, the sleepy fog that Naruto was in, began to fade and his eyes widened in realization that Itachi was the Uchiha in front of him, not Sasuke. "Oh my god." He whispered.
"Naruto," Itachi started to say when the blonde practically pushed him off.
"Oh my god!" He screamed and pulled at his hair. "Oh my god! What have I done!" The blonde was in hysterics as he replayed what just happened in his mind. Tears began to fall steadily from cerulean eyes. "Oh my god!"
"Naruto, it's okay." Itachi tried to comfort, taking a step closer.
Naruto turned his head quickly, angry red eyes narrowed in a fierce glare. "Get out! You've done enough!"
Itachi gave the blonde a sad look as he once again burst into tears, crying, before turning and walking out of the room.
