Farmers went about tending to crops and livestock as they passed in the carriage.

"What I wouldn't do for man blood," Bela smiled as she licked her lips.

"Bela!" her mother scolded her.

"But mother I'm sick of women," she whined back. "I'm sick of seeing them and hearing them."

Alcina frowned. "I told you I despise men and thats that."

Bela turned away, this was another battle not won.

"Besides what you do out of castle grounds has no interest to me," Alcina went on.

Bela looked to her. "So I can go into the village and take a man?"

Alcina looked disgusted, but gave a nod. Bela was now quick out the open window.

"Hey, I want some too." Cassandra frowned as she followed her sister.

"Are you not going with them?"

Daniela shook her head. "I want to stay with my sister."

Alcina smiled, Daniela always had a way of knowing what was to come.

"Girl," she thought as she rubbed her belly.

Daniela hummed in response as she joined her mother in soothing the growing child.

"What are you going to name her?"

Alcina hadn't really thought of a name passed Daniela, but knew she had to come up with an E name.

Evaline? Eva? No, that was Miranda's child. Evelyn? Eve?

"Eve?" she thought, it was close to Eva and she respected Miranda, so Eve it was.

"Eve?" Daniela repeated.

"Hmm, you like it?"

Daniela gave a nod to then lower her head to the bump.

"Hello sister, your new name will be Eve from now on."

Alcina lifted her hand to stroke her daughter's hair. Daniela loved these moments, even though it wasn't every day she'd get this. Mother was always so busy to spend time with her, and her older sisters couldn't care less about her. She was far too absorbed in her love for mother. Even though Alcina never had time to love them properly, but with a little one on the way she'd make time.

"Daniela," Alcina softly awoke her once the carriage stopped.

The youngest lifted up and stretched to then swarm out, leaving Alcina to follow her inside.

"Oh, my lady. A word please?"

Alcina looked towards the jolly fat man, who resided in his caravan right outside her castle. His horse was grazing nearby, happily munching on the grass there.

"It's about your wine," he smiled.

"What about it?" she asked him, feeling the child within grow restless at the movement again.

Placing his cigar between his teeth, he grabbed his notebook to show her the numbers.

"Sales are up, my lady." He grinned. "Though I haven't had word of your next batch."

Alcina tried to stay focused, but little Eve was acting up royally today. She had to slip a hand into her coat to start rubbing circles in order for the baby to settle.

"Ah, if you're not feeling well we can arrange another da..."

She shot him a look, which had him give a respectful nod as to say he would not interfere in the lady's problems.

"Good day, my lady." He smiled as she turned to wave him off.

Bela and Cassandra were just now heading back in with full bellies as Alcina hung up her coat to quickly head for her chair to collapse in. Bela was quick to take her hat to massage her head.

"I'm find, my dear." She told her with a smile as she took the blondes hand to hold.

"I know when you're lying, mother." The eldest frowned at her. "I may not know what you feel right now, but I know it's taking it's toll on you."

Alcina cupped her daughter's hand to her cheek, sighing loudly.

"I can't hide even if I tried," she frowned. "I raised three smart daughters."

"Bela's the smart one, mother." Daniela pointed out, forcing Cassandra to roll her eyes, which in turn caused Daniela to stick her tongue out at her, and in turn caused an all out war.

"Girls, please." Alcina sighed. "Are you going to act this way with your baby sister?"

Just then it dawned on Daniela. "I-I won't be the baby anymore," she now swarmed off while crying.

Alcina couldn't help but wonder now if it was all worth it. "You're causing me more trouble, young one and you're not even born yet. Maybe I should go speak with her?" she thought as she tried to stand only to grimace and sit right back down again.

"Rest mother," Bela told her. "You've overworked yourself."

Alcina shook her head, she wasn't going anywhere at the moment.

"I'll go see her," the blonde insisted instead, leaving Cassandra to look after their mother, and it was a great oppertunity to get on her mother's good side again as most of the time she was on her bad side.

"Are you hungry, mother?"

Alcina looked to the brunette, gave it some thought and nodded. Cassandra happily swarmed off to go fill her a plate of fresh cut meat slabs.

"I saved you some of the kill from earlier."

Alcina nodded as she tucked in. Demanding seconds soon after, followed by thirds.

"Thank you, my dear, I enjoyed it."

Cassandra was glad of the praise as Alcina now stood to head out. She took to her room to sit down, only the glass jar on the side had her feeling saddened. Picking up the glass container, she inspected it. It contained Roses head.

"How barbaric of you, Miranda. Carving up an innocent child for your own gain."

She sat with the Rose part for a while before placing it back on the table.

"If Ethan comes here first, he may take his daughter. I will play no part in Miranda's silly games."

Standing she slipped out of her dress, threw on her nightdress and climbed in bed. She really didn't sleep much, but seen as she was working with an extra being inside her it was tiresome. She closed her eyes to sleep and had one hell of a nightmare.

'How dare you keep this from me?'

'I did it because I know you'd want to use her for your own benefit.'

'Of course I would! This isn't about you, it's about me bringing back my Eva!'

Alcina was disgusted but found she was powerless as she'd just given birth to her baby girl to now see Miranda carrying her away.

'Miranda! Bring her back to me, she's mine! My Eve! My precious daughter!'

She awoke with a start, skin flushed and heated. Quickly throwing off the covers, she reached down under the bed for the old bed pan and used it to empty her stomach.

"Mama," a voice called out softly from the corner of the room.

Placing the bed pan down, she turned to see Daniela.

"I couldn't sleep," she sniffs as though she's been crying and still is.

Throwing back the blanket, she pets the bed next to her as an invitation. Daniela walks over and climbs in next to her to snuggle in while Alcina pulls the blanket back up.

"Are you sick, mama?" she now asks as Alcina places an arm over her eyes.

"I just had a bad dream that's all, darling."

Daniela snakes her hand up and over her mother's swell to start rubbing circles, as she knows it eases her.

"How long until I'm not the baby anymore?" she asks.

"I'm not sure," Alcina shrugs, she wouldn't know anyway as she was out of it most of the time.

"I want my sister, but I want to stay the youngest."

Alcina moves her arm to look to her daughter.

"You'll still get the same love from me," she reassured her.

Daniela felt a little more at peace with that and was willing to let it slide.

Ethan trudged through the snow, he had no idea what the hell had happened, only that he'd awakened to find Mia and Rose both gone and now it was time to find them. Heading up through a hole in a barbed wire fence, he followed the path up to soon find dead hanging crows.

"Who the fucks twisted mind did all this?" he thought as he passed through.

Taking a turn, he now found a house. A horse lay dead nearby, and more were stomping wildly in the barn.

"Who's out there?" someone asked with a thick Romanian accent.

"Ethan," he answered. "I'm Ethan."

"I don't know anyone named Ethan, so piss off."

What a warm welcome that was. Heading on he soon heard a woman's voice.

"Hang in there, father."

He walked over to the window and peered in to see a man leaning back in a chair, while a young woman took care of his wounds.

"Hello!" he banged on the door soon after the woman had finished up.

"Who is it?" she asked.

"Elena!" the man snapped at her.

"But papa, what if he needs help?"

"My name's Ethan. I'm..."

"He's an outsider. No one goes by the name of Ethan around here. Don't let him in!"

Elena was torn.

"Please, I just need information on my missing daughter." He banged again just as howls rang out.

"He's gonna draw those things back!" her father hisses as he readied the shotgun.

"Papa, no!" Elena tried to stop him, only he pushed her back into the table.

Opening the door with the chain on, he poked the barrel into Ethans face.

"Whoa! Whoa! Hey, I'm friendly. Friendly." He tried to reason. "I just need help finding my daughter."

"Father, please. Let him in," Elena panicked as howls drew closer. "If he gets caught, we all do!"

Her father grunted before slamming the door to unhook the chain.

"This is on your head, Elena!" he hissed as he took a seat.

Elena was quick to shut the door after Ethan stepped in.

"Oh, sorry." He apologised. "I won't be staying long."

"Are you serious?" Elena frowned.

"Yeah, I just need to know if you know anything. Anything at all that can help me find my daughter," he pleaded with them.

"The castle," the old man coughed.

Elena rushed over to her father to comfort him.

"The castle?" Ethan thought.

"There's nothing but blood and death up there."

"Elena, shut your damn mouth!"

"What do you mean?"

The old man coughed again. "That bitch up at the castle takes young maidens and kills them for her own sadistic purposes."

"What?!" Ethan thought disgusted. "But my Rose is just a baby."

"Never heard of her taking babies," the old man wheezed.

"Papa," Elena looked to him with worry.

"I'm alright," he reassured her.

"Looks like I've got a bitch to put down."

"Yeah, good luck with that." The man laughed.

Ethan didn't really see the funny side as he headed for the door.

"Ethan, wait!" Elena tried to stop him, only he was out faster than she could stop him. "Shit!"

"Let him go."

Elena gave a worried look as the werewolves now prowled the area. "Stay safe, Ethan and I hope you find your Rose."

"Mother," Bela swarmed in to check up on her again.

Today was yet another bad day and would see her in bed.

"Please don't make a fuss over me," she frowned as her daughter's all snuggled on the bed with her.

"When mother's not feeling well, we all don't feel well." Daniela giggled.

Alcina shook her head, her daughter's were her everything and if anything were to happen to them all hell would break loose.
