Heading for her phone room, she had to stop to catch her breath a few times. The months had flown by and she was now wishing they could once again to get this over with.

"Mother, you should rest. Leave it to..."

"I won't stop for a small amount of pain, my dear. Besides it really doesn't hurt all that m...ahhh!"

Quickly placing a hand to the wall, she steadied herself. Cassandra and Daniela being on her other side. Cass holding her mother's hand, while Daniela stuck herself to her side.

"Mother, you should go back and rest in bed!" Bela now spoke with dominance.

Alcina shook her head.

"You're never too old to be punished, Bela."

Bela huffed before swarming off, she knew she wouldn't win, and seeing her mother like this was really unsettling, especially since she was pushing herself.

"Mama, you should should listen to Bela. She's really smart."

"Yes, mother. You really shouldn't..."

"Cassandra! Hold your tongue or have it ripped out!" the older woman warned.

"You're not listening to us, mother!" Cassandra now shouts at her, voice full of so much emotion Alcina had never heard before. "I hate you for it!"

She found she was another daughter down now.

"Daniela?"

"It's for your own good, mama." The youngest now sniffled as she played with her mother's dress.

"I know you're all trying to help, but if I don't get in touch with Donna, she may do something stupid and that manthing may end up...look I need to do this to warn her."

"I'm not going anywhere. Not until I know it's safe to."

Alcina turned at the sound of Ethan Winters standing right behind her. Daniela hissed at him like a cat.

"You have your stupid daughters head, leave mama alone!"

Ethan raised his hands. "Hey, I have no intentions of doing anything. She'd more than likely crush me under her shoe."

Alcina smirked, he was a clever man thing. Turning she started to head out to the stairs to go through into the East wing. Bending not once, but twice was really taking it's toll on her.

"Calm yourself, little one." She grimaced while rubbing her swell.

"My Lady, Lady Beneviento awaits your response." The maid informed her.

She moved to take a seat.

"Donna," she called her sisters name, hoping she could mask her pain.

"A-Alcina, is that you?" came the startled reply.

"Hmm," the older of the two responded, still trying to ease the discomfort.

"Is everything alright, you sound..."

"Donna, listen to me." She managed to get in. "I have Ethan Winters here."

"He hasn't hurt you has he?" the younger woman's voice was now filled with concern and rage.

"No," Alcina answered before taking a breath. "I've willingly given him my part of Rose."

"Alcina, why? You know what Mother said."

"Donna, I'm done being her puppet. I know one manthing may not be able to do much, but as it stands at the moment, I am in no position to try and protect you."

"What do you mean, Alcina? Is something wrong?"

Alcina gasped and doubled over, groaning loudly. The phone was taken from her hand with Donna still calling out.

"Cina! Cina!"

"Sorry, she can't talk right now!"

"How dare you! You stupid manthing!" Alcina snarled as she stood to grab him by the throat.

"Alcina!" Donna's voice still rang out as Ethan took the phone with him.

She slammed him into the wall, severing the cord, cutting Donna off.

oOo

"I have to get to the castle. If Ethan Winters has laid a hand on Alcina, I'll end him!" she vowed.

She pushed past the maids, something she'd never done before and now stood to look at the glass jar. "All this because Miranda cut up your baby."

She brought the container to her chest and held it there for a while.

"You poor dear," she sighed before composing herself to now grab her doll Angie.

Quickly throwing open the doors she headed out. The snow crunched beneath her boots as well as melting on top to give them a wet shiny look.

"Hold on, sister!" she called out just as she climbed into her carriage.

oOo

"Your daughters are right," he tried to get through to her while nearly being choked.

"Don't you dare speak of them, man thing!" she snapped as she slammed him back again, cracking the wall. "Not after you shot at one of them!"

"I'm sorry, it was a natural reaction."

"You don't go into someone's house with a loaded gun and start firing at their children!"

"I thought you had my daughter!"

"That's...Not...The point!"

Her other hand had now come into contact with the wall, narrowly missing Ethans face. He couldn't see her face as she had her head bowed, her large hat covering most of everything. Apart from the reddening stain of her underwear. He quickly averted his gaze before she would attack him again for it. However, nothing happened as she stood motionless for a few moments until...

"Mother, I smell..." the brunette stopped at the sight.

Ethan and Alcina looked to her.

"Mother, Bela warned you!" Cassandra snapped as she swarmed closer.

"Help me sit," she hissed at her daughter. Her hand now loosening to let Ethan go.

He fell to the floor, his ankle snapping in the process making him cry out. He was ignored as Cassandra made sure her mother was now sitting.

"Mother!" Bela now swarmed in, closely followed by Daniela as Ethan now built up the courage to snap his ankle back with another cry.

"Fuck!" he gasped.

The three women had now seemed to forget about him as they fussed around their mother.

"What do we do?" Cassandra panicked as Daniela tried desperately to hug her mother.

"You should get her somewhere comfortable before the contractions really start up." Ethan made sure he got in.

The three turned to glare at him. Bela grabbing his hair again to pull his head back.

"We look after mother, little one. Not you!"

"I know, but when the labour really starts you won't be able to move her."

"He's right," Alcina breathed after the pain subsided. "I may make it to the guest room. Help me there."

Bela growled as she let Ethan go to help her mother. Alcina ducked out of the doorway and through the halls. Ethan following on behind.

"This doesn't concern you, manthing!" Cassandra scowled.

"Hey, I've been through childbirth before with...with my wife, Mia." He found it hard saying her name. "Maybe I can help?"

The three frowned as Alcina made herself comfortable on the large bed, it was a good job she'd had the furniture set to her new size or else.

"Mother hates men and for you to be interfering..." Bela warned, getting cut off by Alcina.

"He's more experienced," Alcina groaned, finding herself saying things she never usually would.

"But mother?"

Alcina raised a hand to her daughters concerned face and smiled before grimacing in pain.

"Alright, we need towels and warm water. A bowl of cool water and a wash cloth."

The three looked to him, if he thought they'd be doing as he said he'd have another thing coming.

"Girls!" Alcina groaned in pain, grabbing the sheets. "Please, just this once."

"We're doing it because of you, mother." Cassandra made known.

"I know," the older woman smiled.

The three set off to gather supplies, leaving Ethan with Alcina.

"I'm glad you did the right thing," he told her.

"Oh, Ethan, it's not for you." Alcina chuckled lightly. "It's to make Miranda...ahhh! Pay!"

"You alright?" he asked, stopping at the side of her bed.

She clutched her belly, feeling something move within her.

"What's...what's happening?"

Ethan placed his hands on her swell. "I-I think the baby's moving into position. Looks like you're going through a fast labour."

oOo

An old hunched backed woman hobbled back and forth through the village, looking for any signs of something happening.

"Ethan Winters should have killed her by now. What's taking so long?"

When no one was looking she morphed herself into one of the villagers and headed up for the castle. There were cries of agony to be heard, maybe he was in the process of killing her? She had to know. Forming a raven in her hand from the mould, she sent the creature flying upwards and around the castle grounds.

"Where are you, Ethan Winters?"

The sound of pained moans and cries were still going strong, and well they didn't really sound like dying cries. Then again she'd never heard Alcina in pain before. The raven had to get in closer, but out of nowhere the sound of flies were heard. The flies started attacking the creature without remorse, leaving nothing behind like a hungry pack of piranhas.

"How dare those damned bitches interfere!" she hissed.

The sound of hooves and wheels cutting through the thickening snow made her turn around and quickly hide. A figure in a black dress was now seen rushing up the front steps.

"Donna?" she questioned. "Just what is going on here?"

oOo

Bela smirked as her flies rejoined her body. She hated Miranda and knew exactly what to look for, a suspicious raven.

"You want to know what's going on, come face us!" she sneered as she looked down to now see a figure heading up the stone steps.

Quickly transforming her body into a cloud of flies, she headed inside to quickly go meet with the older woman.

"Aunty Donna," she quickly materialised to hug the other woman.

"B-Bela!" Donna stammered, being taken off guard by the younger woman's embrace.

"It's mother," Bela sniffled against her.

"I know, that's why I came." Donna reassured her.

Bela backed up to now take her aunt upstairs.

"What ever he's done to her, I will slaughter him with my bare hands!"

Bela now looked a little confused as she opened the door after hearing what her aunt just said. Donna on the other hand was enraged, there standing between her sisters open legs was the manthing himself.

"It's Donna, right?" he asked a little panicked before Donna reached into her pocket to then open her hand up to reveal some sort of powder to blow into Ethans face.

"Donna, no!" was the last thing he heard before he now found himself in a strange room. A crying baby was all he could now hear.

"Rose?" he called out to the baby in hopes he could find her.

The three could only watch as Ethan pulled out his gun to head out the room.

"Did I do something wrong?" Donna now asked as gun shots were now heard, followed by the sound of a very angry daughter.

"I'll kill you!"

"Cassandra," Alcina grimaced with another pain as Bela quickly swarmed out.

She managed to catch her sister, finding Ethan had shot at her, causing her to drop the bowl of water. Another few shots rang out as Bela held her sisters trembling hand.

"Let me go, Bela!" she screamed, feeling a sharp pain where the bullet had struck her body, killing a few of her flies. "I'm going to kill him!"

"We can't remember! Mother said so!"

"He shot me!" Cassandra screamed, seeing the blood staining her dress now.

Bela wrapped an arm around her, comforting her until she stopped shaking. It was true their bodies were made up of flies, but get caught off guard and it caused damage to them. Bela had been lucky, but Cassandra hadn't.

"Here," Bela soothed, offering a few of her own flies to help aid her sister.

"I want to make him pay, Bela!" Cassandra vowed.

"You can if mother allows it," Bela reminded her. "Besides he's high on aunt Donna's pollen right now."

Another gun shot and another maid dropped to the floor, gasping for air as the bullet struck her lung.

"We need to catch him quickly! Daniela!"
