Every step they made left an imprint on the ground.

Sasha thought that now was a great time to get away from everyone, since they haven't had the chance as of late. There wasn't anything else her and Grime needed to do that night, so she figured why not spend the rest of their night by doing something relaxing together. She kept looking at Grime as they walked by each other's side. He didn't look at her, he only looked ahead of him with a look of content on his face.

As of late, she had been thinking about their future together. Aside from one or two things, Sasha didn't want to go back to Earth. She wanted to stay here with Grime. Coming to Amphibia was the best thing that could happen to her. She was the happiest she could've been and she was becoming a much better person because of her, Anne, and Marcy arriving in Amphibia. Yeah, not everything that happened was good, but it ended up being for the better. Grime ended up being the reason why she wanted to stay and she wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

"What's on your mind?" Grime asked. "You've been staring at me for minutes now."

"Our future together."

He stopped in his tracks and finally looked at Sasha. "Our future, huh?"

She held his hand. "Yeah. When we beat Andrias, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you."

"What about your world?"

"There's hardly anything that's worth coming back to and what is worth it, I can bring over here with me." Sasha admitted. "Amphibia's my home now. It's where I belong, Grimesy, here with you."

"Sasha, that just sounds like you've been reading too many cheesy romance novels."

She snorted. "Like there's been any time for me to read!"

Grime laughed about the truthfulness of that statement. She couldn't help but smile. It was the little things like his laugh that made her love being there in Amphibia. She didn't think she'd ever find love there, much less being in love with an older toad guy, but it wasn't like she could ever complain nowadays. Sasha pulled him into a kiss as she closed her eyes. It took no time for Grime to kiss her back. His hands went up to her face and cupped her cheeks.

It then started to downpour with each raindrop wettening them. Several mushrooms around them lit up in a bluish hue. Grime moved one of his hands down to her waist. He swept her feet and quickly spun as he held Sasha in his hand. She chuckled and smiled. Their lips parted and they stared at each other's eyes.

"If we get to rule Amphibia after all of this, know that you'll be my queen." Grime told her.

"That's only if you don't mind never getting a moment of peace."

"Who ever said I wanted that?"

She pulled him back into a kiss. Grime brushed the wet hair out of her face. Every time they stopped kissing, it only lasted a few seconds for them to catch their breaths.

The two stayed there for what felt like an eternity.
