The two of them or the three of them counting Jack ended up stowing away on a small ship. Both girls change out of their dresses and into so spare men's clothes they found on the ship. Now hidden in the bowels of the ship they planned their next move.

"We need to find Will and Jack," said Elizabeth.

"With any luck they'll be in the same place," agreed Narcissa.

"We know Will started at Tortuga so we may as well go there," suggested Elizabeth.

"Yes, Tortuga. The question is how to get this ship to go there. I doubt they'll listen to stowaways. Especially women. Sailors are so superstitious that many consider us bad luck. Remember Mister Gibbs on the boat from England?"

Elizabeth didn't answer for a moment but Narcissa could tell her sister was getting an idea from the way her face began to light up.

"What if we played on that superstition? They might not listen to us but they might listen to a ghost," suggested Elizabeth.

"Oh yes because we have such a wide supply of them on hand. I'll just ask one to help us shall I?" replied Narcissa dryly though she was interested in the idea. Elizabeth laughed.

"No but we might be able to trick them." Narcissa leaned forward.

"I'm listening."

The plan all centered around Elizabeth's wedding dress. First they left it out for the crew to find. Once they did an argument began over what to do with it

"What's all this? If you both fancy the dress, you'll just have to share and wear it one after the other," said the Captain breaking up the fight.

"It's not like that, sir. This ship is haunted." said one crew member

"Is it, now? And you?" replied the captain skeptically.

"There's a female presence amongst us here, sir. All the men, they can feel it." replied the first crew mate.

"It's the ghost of a lady widowed before her marriage, I figure it, searching for her husband, lost at sea."

"A virgin too, likely as not," added another. Narcissa resisted the urge to roll her eyes. They had barely done anything and already the crew was coming up with their own wild stories.

"And that bodes ill by all accounts." said a third. "I say that we throw the dress overboard and we hope the spirit follows it."

"No! That will just anger the spirit, sir!" exclaimed the first man. "What we need to do is find out what the spirit needs, and then just get it back to her."

"Enough! Enough!" shouted the Captain. "You're a pair of superstitious goats and it's got the best of you. Now, this appears to be no more as we have a stowaway on board. A young woman, by the look of it. I want you to search the ship and find her."

The men continued their grumbling. To their luck Narcissa and Elizabeth's disguises managed to effectively allow them to pass as boys. Night came and they put the second part of their plan into action. Narcissa carved the word Tortuga into the deck before pouring oil into the indentations and Elizabeth attached her dress to the rigging using some ropes to make it appear as if it were fluttering on its own.

Seeing it several of the men came out gasping in fear as the dress swooped around eventually knocking over a conveniently placed lantern and setting the letters aflame.

"Look!" called Narcissa in a deep voice and the crew ran over. His face white as a sheet, the captain turned to the bosun and said,

"Make for Tortuga." Elizabeth dropped down from the rigging and they made their way below decks back to their original hiding place.

"Well done. You're turning into quite the pirate," Narcissa told her.

"I'm not sure that's a good thing," Elizabeth said before pausing. "You seem to almost be enjoying yourself." Narcissa sighed stroking Jack's head. It was true despite the circumstances Narcissa was almost relieved to be on the sea again. To smell the salty air and feel the sea spray on her face.

"I suppose in some ways I am. I hate that you and Will are in danger but it feels right to be back at sea." Elizabeth shot her a perceptive look.

"Were you planning on leaving?" Narcissa was caught off guard but nodded.

"Yes, I planned to stay for the wedding but truthfully the only things holding me to Port Royal were Will, you, and your father. Once you and Will settled down. I intended to go off and do some adventuring of my own. The sea calls to me Lizzie. I realized that on the Pearl. It's where I belong." Elizabeth looked conflicted.

"I want you to be happy Cissy. But I can't imagine a life without you."

"I wouldn't worry. You and will are so lovey dovey that once you're married, you'll be so focused on each other and any children you'll forget about me." scoffed Narcissa playfully. Her sister laughed.

"I don't think it's possible for anyone who has met you to forget about you Cissy."

"Why thank you," replied Narcissa with a mock bow. After Elizabeth went to sleep Narcissa wandered back up on deck. Careful not to draw attention to herself.

She thought of her father who had sailed these seas for years on end. She dearly wished that he were here beside her. That they could have sailed together. Jack Sparrow had ruined that.

And then there was Beckett. Narcissa worried at what punishment the man would devise for Weatherby whose only crime was helping his daughters survive. Hopefully Beckett would consider him useful enough to keep around.

She supposed now that she was a fugitive from the East India Trading Company she could go by her father's last name. A way to honor him. He might be gone. But she would carry on his legacy. And if she took down Cutler Beckett on the way. Well, that would just be a bonus.
