Chapter 12: Epilogue

The group managed to defeat Gol and Maia, and everything was peaceful in Jak's world. Klug, Keira, and the sages came from the elevator. And then… Amitie, Raffina, Lidelle, Jak, and Daxter all came to them on that wide blue eco platform, doing a collective victory dance. After they did that, they jumped to where everyone else was and…

Samos: "Well, it looks I may have been too hard on you, boys. You two DO have what it takes to be heroes! And as for Amitie, Raffina, and Lidelle: You three did great as well! I'm proud of all five of you."

Daxter: "Hey, I'm glad you now recognize us as heroes."

Klug: "Amitie, Raffina, Lidelle! Keira and I watched you destroy that Precursor robot with Jak, and I can't believe you guys just saved this world! I personally wouldn't have had the guts to do that."

Amitie: "Yeah, it was pretty wicked, Klug!"

Keira: "But... don't we still have a couple of problems to solve? Now that Gol is gone: Daxter, you can't change back… And you guys can't return to your world…"

Daxter: "I don't know about them… but don't worry about me, baby! You know what they say: Big things come in small packages."

As Daxter said that, he grinned and Keira facepalmed.

Blue Sage: "Jak, you have an incredible talent for channeling eco! Samos, you should have seen the boy freeing me from my cage… He took down a horde of lurkers all by himself!"

Red Sage: "Raffina, you channeled red eco like an expert… And Keira, without your help and ingenuity… none of this would have been possible. *chuckle* Perhaps we've found another sage, now that Gol and Maia are lost."

Samos: "Yes, Gol and Maia... The dark eco probably destroyed them. Eh, probably…"

Daxter: "Ah, who cares?! Bring 'em on, we can take 'em again, right Jak? … I said, right, Jak?!"

After Daxter said that, he and the girls from Primp Town saw that Jak and Keira were about to kiss.

Raffina: "Are they about to…?"

Amitie and Lidelle: "K-kiss?!"

Daxter then went up to Jak and Keira and…

Daxter: "Woah! Put it on ice, big guy!"

Daxter stopped the two and they both gave him a look of annoyance. And then…

Keira: "Hm? What's this little thing right here?"

Keira picked up a relatively small Precursor device of sorts and held it up for everyone else to see. Samos looked at it and…

Samos: "Is that a… Warp Gate Maker?"

Klug: "Warp Gate Maker? What's that?"

Samos: "Klug, this might be the thing that can send you and your friends back to your own world!"

Amitie, Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug: "I-it can?!"

Samos: "Yes. By having this Precursor device either scan you, or by manually setting specific coordinates: You can go to any place you desire. This must have been what Gol used to supposedly travel to other worlds! All it needs is some blue eco to power it up. Then, it can make a temporary warp gate to wherever you wish to go."

Blue Sage: "If it's a small supply of blue eco that you kids need, then I'll happily give you some!"

Amitie, Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug: "Th-thanks!"

So, when the Warp Gate Maker was powered up and ready to go, the thing began scanning Amitie and…"

Warp Gate Maker: "Scanning, scanning… … Scan completed. Now making coordinates. … … Coordinates made. Now creating a warp gate to… Primp Town."

Amitie, Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug: "...!"

Samos: "It's the place that you all mentioned when you first introduced yourselves to me and Keira…"

The Warp Gate Maker then created a warp gate to Primp Town, and this astonished Amitie and her friends.

Amitie: "Can this thing really bring us back to Primp Town?"

Klug: "We have to assume that will be the case, Amitie…"

Raffina: "Um, before we go… Shouldn't we hand all of the power cells and Precursor orbs that we have to Jak?"

Lidelle: "W-we should… after all, this stuff belongs here, not in our world."

The girls then proceeded to give Jak all of the power cells and Precursor orbs that they had. From there, Amitie and her three friends looked at everyone else for a bit in silence before…

Amitie: "I'm gonna miss you, Jak and Daxter…"

Lidelle: "M-me too…"

Klug: "I'll miss learning about eco from you, Samos."

Keira: "And we'll miss you guys too…"

Samos: "However, as long as you all have that Warp Gate Maker and some blue eco to spare… you can come visit us anytime."

Amitie: "Oh, so we can see you all again if we want?! That's great!"

Samos: "Well, as long as you have the coordinates to Sandover Village, that is…"

Keira: "And thankfully, I have the coordinates to my father's hut with me. So, I can write them down… and give this to you four."

Klug: "I-I'll hold on to it, Keira. And, thank you."

Keira: "No problem! You're always welcomed to the village."

Raffina: "Then I guess this is goodbye…"

Amitie: "Bye!"

Daxter: "So long, guys."

And so, Amitie and her friends went into the warp gate after waving goodbye to Jak, Daxter, Keira, Samos, and the other sages. Then… a giant door with one hundred and twenty-eight empty slots started reacting with all those power cells.

Samos: "Holy yakow! What could that be?"

Keira: "Wow! It's an ancient Precursor door! It looks like it will only open if we fill all... ... one hundred and twenty eight holes with power cells!"

Daxter: "Uh, we're heroes, remember? We should HAVE that many power cells on us, thanks to those girls."

And then, all those power cells stuck themselves in the holes, and the door began to open…

Daxter: "Wow! What is it?!"

Keira: "It's so beautiful…"

Samos: "By the Precursors…"

Jak, Daxter, Keira, and Samos were looking at a room full of mysterious light in wonder. Meanwhile… Amitie and her friends came out of the warp gate and looked at their surroundings. They were outside, and it was nighttime…

Amitie: "A-are we back in Primp Town…?

Raffina: "Hmm…"

Lidelle: "U-um…"

Klug decided to walk around the area, and that's when he found something out.

Klug: "*gasp* Guys, look!"

Klug showed the others where he was pointing to and they saw what they wanted to see.

Amitie, Raffina, and Lidelle: "W-we're back in Primp Town!"

Klug: "So it would seem… If that's the case, then let's go home."

Klug smiled, and the others smiled along with him as they all walked back to their hometown. And watching them go home from the farthest edge of spacetime… the figure there smiled at their success.

?: "So, it would seem that Amitie and her friends have managed to return to the Puyo Puyo dimension after going on that turbulent adventure... I'm glad for them. Everything is as it should be, and I didn't have to do anything. … Although… I still have questions on my mind. Like, who are the Precursors? And then there are those other questions that Samos had… … What's the purpose behind making all of that strange technology? … … I guess I won't have the answers to these questions for a long time. For now, though… I can rest easy knowing that Amitie and her friends are safe and back in their own dimension."

And so, the figure decided to rest and everything has been resolved…

The End

Author's Notes: Yay! We're done with this small beast of a crossover story! I hope you all have enjoyed reading this from beginning to end, because I put a LOT of effort into this. Considering that I'm both a Jak fan, and a Puyo Puyo fan... I wanted to bring in the best of both worlds here. And I think I did a fantastic job in doing so. Like, none of you had to really know what happened in the Puyo Puyo games to know what goes on here… but knowing them enhances the experience BIG TIME. You get to understand Amitie and her friends a lot more, knowing what they went through in those games.

And speaking of them… this actually won't be the only time that they will go to Jak's world. Oh yeah, it's exactly what you think! I plan on making a sequel to this crossover story, and it'll be based on the events of Jak 2. And oh boy, it's going to be INTERESTING. So look forward to that when it's eventually released. Until then, tell me what you all think of THIS story as a whole. I'm really curious to hear your guys' overall thoughts on it. And with that, I'll see you guys when the sequel for this story comes out! Bye!
