Loud Thoughts
Sometimes Hartley's brain gets so loud he can't breathe. His thoughts are just too much, too cluttered, too noisy...
And today is one of those days, adding a frantic edge to everything Hartley does because he's hoping something - anything - will drown out the noise in his head.
"Hartley?" Cisco asked, walking out of their bedroom with a box in his hands. "Where's your head at?" he asked, settling the box on the coffee table.
"Too many thoughts," Hartley admitted, watching the box in anticipation. There were a lot of ways Cisco could calm Hartley's racing brain down. Spanking when he wanted to zone out entirely or... scarves...
Cisco pulled out the first of several scarves and beckoned Hartley over. "Shirt off. And your safe word?"
Hartley scrambled to yank his shirt off, tossing it aside. "Marzipan."
"Good," Cisco leaned over and kissed Hartley gently and then took his hands, wrapping the first long, silk scarf up one arm from wrist to elbow and then moving to the other arm and wrapping it in reverse from elbow to wrist before tying it off in a slip knot that Hartley could undo himself if he needed to. But the sensation of the silk digging just enough into his skin had already begun to narrow Hartley's focus and tugging his arms made the sensation grow just that little bit tighter each time.
Scarf number two wound around Hartley's upper chest and neck; his eyes fluttering shut and a flush running up his cheeks as he felt the soft, strong material wind about his throat. Not enough to choke him - Hartley had to be in the right mood for breath play and racing thoughts did not lend itself well to that mood. But every tilt of his head or swallowing motion with his throat mad the silk shift tantalizingly along his sensitive skin and he whined softly, pleased by the sensation.
"Color?" Cisco asked.
"G-green." Hartley's thoughts weren't racing anymore, that was for sure. They'd slowed down, whole body focused on soft silk and the way Cisco's hands were now fluttering along his stomach.
"How's your brain feeling now?"
"It's all nice and quiet already," Hartley muttered, flickering his eyes open long enough to see where Cisco was so he could step forward and cuddle against Cisco's chest and shoulders.
Chuckling softly, Cisco wrapped his arms around Hartley, stroking up along Hartley's spine with a scarf in hand.
"Is this what you needed or do you want me to do up your legs too? Get you all nice and floaty?"
Floating away for a little while would be nice, and with Cisco watching over him he always felt safe letting go like that too. "Make me all floaty," Hartley said, smiling as Cisco's hands moved to undo the zipper of his jeans before yanking his pants down to his ankles while leaving his underwear in place.
A soft push lands Hartley onto the couch and he just lays back as Cisco does up his thighs first and then his knees and calves. Last, but not least, Cisco gently binds up Hartley's ankles, running his fingers lightly up along the soles of Hartley's feet.
It gets a soft, fuzzy giggle from Hartley who feels so good and relaxed and happy because it was Cisco who made him feel this way... and, for a little while, the world fell away.
He blinks back after a while, as Cisco carefully undoes the first of the scarves, having tucked a blanket around Hartley at some point. "You back with me, Hart?"
Hartley nodded, a bit sleepily, and smiled, flexing his arms and wrists as the silk scarf was put back into their toy box. "Thanks Cisco. I needed to get out of my head. You're so good at taking care of me."
Cisco's cheeks went a touch pink at that and he grinned, unknotting the second silk scarf and sliding it free from Hartley's chest and neck in a way that left him a bit flustered from the sensation of the silk cascading about his torso. "You're the one who looks so pretty for me in all these scarves. But it got a little chilly in here, so I had to cover you up. I think our heater is acting up again."
"Like I said," Hartley murmured, pulling Cisco in for a sweet kiss. "You take such good care of me."
