Authors note:
As an artistic library, I have chosen to switch up the idea of "scientists are developing ways to make it seem like a prisoners 8.5 hour sentence lasted 1000 years" Into something a little different.
Here, it is not a drug. It's something physical making time feel like it's passing quicker. And to make it more dramatic... and because he's going to prison for murder, as stated in the previous chapter, he will be there longer than 8 hours, that's for sure.
But, the part where the 8.5 hour thing comes into play, every 8.5 hours, to him, is 1000 years.
I hope this clears up any possibility of confusion but if you need more information, feel free to request it in the comments!
So without further ado, please enjoy my latest chapter!
Third person POV.
Izuku was thrown into a holding cell. It was dirty and not well kept. There were at least three other people inside. They all looked dangerous in comparison so him, even if most of them were there for petty crime.
Midoriya sat on the ground, stunned into silence. He couldn't say a single word. We watched people entering and leaving the station wile he waited for whatever happened next.
"I know, it almost impossible to believe a kid so young is in here for murder." One of the officers said as they passed by.
It was the day of his trial, he had spent six agonizing days in that jail cell. He was scanned for mettle as he entered the court room. Wile he stood there, he was near tears.
A few moments later he stepped inside the courtroom to see all of his friends, teachers, and his mother sitting in the stands. He took his place.
"Mr. Midoriya. It's not every day we see a hero to be in our court. I will have you know, as this is a serious allegation, you are being tried as an adult." The judge exclaimed.
Izuku noded in response.
Deku's POV.
The trial had ended. All I could hear were the gasps and shouts of sadness from my loved ones when the judge exclaimed the worst words I have ever heard,
"Midoriya Izuku, I here by deem you guilty of three accounts of murder!" They shouted.
Flash bang. The world around me went weight. I was grabbed and cuffed once again, and pushed out of the court room. I can vaguely remember my mothers face as she hears my sentence... forty and a half years...
Kachan yelled, the pro hero's protested, and the rest of my friends cried. Me though, for once in my life, I couldn't.
The ride to prison was bumpy and threw me with every pot hole. Around twenty minutes into the ride they stoped at a place with big metal gates. The transport driver pulled me out of the back and tugged me through. As we passed them, I read the sign,
"High security".
Never in my life could I have imagined a day in prison, let alone a high security one.
A few moments later I was given my prison uniform, the classic orange jumpsuit.
The next day I was led off into a room where they gave me an Anastasia. I woke up the next day back in my prison cell, only know I had something, sewn onto my inner arm. I looked down at it. The patch read,
"1000 year sentence"
I froze. What? That can't be right. That's not physically possible. I started trying to remove the patch but stopped when I realized it would hurt. The first guard that passed by my cell I called over.
"Uummm, may I ask a question?" I said meekly.
"What?" The prison guard replied.
"What is this patch on my arm for?"
The guard looked from me to the patch and read it quickly before saying, " You, are going to be used in an experimental punishment. How long is your sentence kid?" They asked.
I looked down at my feet, "40 years..."
"Well then, your going to be stuck here for a long time." The guard said as they continued walking.
