Goku, his children, Yamcha, Krillin, Piccolo and Vegeta were all chilling out in front of the Capsule Corp, when they noticed something in the sky rapidly approaching and soon enough, the thing crashed down between the trees not far from their position. "What the hell was that?", Yamcha exclaimed, shocked. "It looked like one of the capsules Nappa and I used to get to this planet", Vegeta commented, eyes narrowing as he suddenly sensed a powerful energy, an energy that was very familiar, though it had been years since he last sensed it. "This energy…Is that a Saiyan?", Goku wondered aloud, a wide excited grin on his face as he sensed how strong it was, "Think they'll spar with me?". The prince scoffed and rolled his eyes, "You're an idiot, Kakarot", he spat as usual.
The person the energy belonged to finally came into view, revealing themselves to be a Saiyan woman: she was nearly as tall as Goku, her black hair was tied in a braid that reached to the middle of her back, she had a delicate oval face with high cheekbones, peachy skin with a few freckles scattered on her cheeks, slightly slanted black eyes, a cute button nose and full rosebud lips, her tail was wrapped around her waist like a belt and her tight fitting red shirt and black pants made it obvious that she had a body worthy of a Victoria's Secret model.
"Heya! Nice to meet you, Earthlings!", she waved with a cheerful smile, "I'm…". "Kimera?!", Vegeta's eyes widened like dinner plates in shock, before his face twisted in a smirk, "Well, well, well, if it isn't my failure of a sister. I didn't think you would still be alive". "Uh?", she tilted her head to the side, studying him intently, then she beamed and let out a joyous squeal as she recognized his appearance and his energy, "Vegeta!". "Who else…", he was cut off by her enthusiastic embrace and his face turned slightly pink as she rubbed her cheek against his. "My sweet baby brother, I missed you soooo much!". "L-let go of me!", he snapped, trying to hide his embarrassment while everyone else snickered.
Kimera leaned back a bit to meet his gaze, "Aaawww, look at you, all grown up! You've really become a big boy, I'm so proud!". The blush intensified, as did the laughter of the others, "Let go!". "Okay, okay, no need for that grumpy face", she chuckled and released him, but still leaned in to peck his cheek, "It's good to see you again, little brother. I've thought of you every day since father kicked me out". He crossed his arms on his chest, trying to look unbothered, but a small genuine smile curved his lips all the same, "At least you proved yourself strong enough to survive. You may be worthy of being my sister after all".
She just laughed, "You're too cute, you know that? Can I hug you again?". "No!". "Too bad", she ignored his protests and hugged him once more, "I've got years and years of missed hugs and cuddles to catch up to, so suck it up. Or would you rather suck my tail?", she teased him and to everyone's surprise, he roughly pushed her off of himself and turned away from her as his face burned a bright red. "S-shut up!". "Wow, is Vegeta blushing?", Krillin exclaimed, attracting the woman's attention. "Oh, sorry, I kinda forgot about you lot, how rude of me! Anyway, I'm Kimera, Vegeta's big sister. I'm two years older than him by the way".
"Nice to meet you, I'm Goku!", the other Saiyan man waved at her with his usual cheerful smile and she couldn't help thinking he was really handsome, "And these are my children: Gohan, Yuri and Goten!", he added, pointing first to a boy of maybe eleven, then to a little girl around eight and finally to the toddler in front of him, who could be no older than two. "Pleasure to meet you all", she bent down slightly to ruffle Gohan's hair, "Your energy is quite strong, are you a Saiyan too, little one?". "Uh, only half", the boy answered shyly, "Dad is a full Saiyan, but mom is human". "Ah", Kimera's smile was still in place, but deep down she was a bit disappointed at the thought of one of her race breeding with a human. Not that she had anything against humans per se, mind you, it's just that they were so…Well…Weak.
Everyone else introduced themselves and at that moment Bulma and Chi-Chi came out of the house to bring food, Trunks following them with a trail of cookies in his hands. "Here is the food!", the blue-haired woman announced, then she noticed the stranger and smiled, "Oh, hello, I didn't know we had another guest. I'm Bulma and this boy is my son Trunks". "Hi miss", the lavender-haired toddler waved with a grin. "Heya, I'm Kimera, nice to meet you both!", the Saiyan female smiled back, "I'm Vegeta's big sister".
"Whaaaaat? Vegeta, you didn't tell me you had a sister!", Bulma rounded on her husband, who frowned. "W-well, what did you expected me to say, woman? Last time I saw her, I was four and she was being banished from our planet by our father! I didn't even know if she was still alive!", he shot back and they all saw a brief flash of pain in his black eyes as he said the last part. "Oh, that's awful…", his wife trailed off, then smiled again at the other woman, "Anyway, that means I'm your sister in law and that Trunks is your nephew".
"That's awesome! Gotta say my little brother has good taste, you're beautiful, Bulma. And you, Trunks, are such a cute little boy, I'm sure you'll become a strong warrior like your dad!", Kimera cooed, placing a kiss on his forehead as he blushed and shuffled his feet with a shy smile. "Thanks miss". "You can call me auntie Kime, sweetheart". "Okay, auntie Kime". She nodded at him and then looked at Chi-Chi curiously, "And you are?". "I'm Chi-Chi", the human woman replied in a cold tone. "Nice to meet you, Chi-Chi". "Not for me: the last thing we needed was another hooligan obsessed with fighting!", she sneered. "…Okay…", the Saiyan female blinked, not understanding why this Earthling was being so hostile towards her.
Krillin coughed, trying to dispel the tension, "Soooo, Kimera, why are you here on Earth? Not that you're not welcome, of course! But, uh, last time some Saiyan got here they were not so friendly". "Really?", Kimera turned to her brother, "Did you pick a fight with them, Gege?", she asked and he cringed. "Don't call me that stupid baby nickname ever again! I'm an adult now!", he barked, once again turning crimson with embarrassment. "Sorry, habit. But did you?". He scoffed, "I was sent here to conquer the planet since Kakarot failed to: of course I picked a fight with them! What else was I supposed to do?".
She rolled her eyes, "Oh, right, father's orders to 'go out and conquer other worlds and kill everything that moves'. What a load of crap", she snorted. "Hey! Show some respect!". "To the utter prick who kicked me out of our home when I was six, all because I didn't want to become the tyrant of some random planet? Not gonna happen. If the old man wants my respect, he's gotta apologize first". "He's dead, Kime". "Well, too bad then", she shrugged, crossing her arms on her chest and turning her nose up just like Vegeta always did. "Yep, they're siblings all right, now I can see the family resemblance", Yamcha commented and Krillin and Bulma nodded in agreement.
"Hey Kimera", Goku piped up, "Would you liked to spar with me?". She beamed like sunshine, "Sure! I've been training since I was a toddler and in the years I've spent away from home, I travelled around the universe to find strong warriors to train and spar with, but being able to spar against another Saiyan after so long…It's a dream come true". He beamed back and laughed, "Great, let's do it then!". Chi-Chi made a face, "Figures", she grumbled and her husband's cheerfulness faded a fraction, something which didn't escape the notice of both Yuri and Kimera, though neither female said a word about it.
"Come on…Goku, is it? It's not a Saiyan name", Kimera noted and he rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I was sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it, but I hit my head, lost my memory and was adopted by my grandpa who named me Goku". "Ah, I see. And I guess Kakarot is your Saiyan name?". "Yep! I never use it though, only Vegeta calls me that". "I'll just call you Goku then, if that's what you prefer". "Yeah, thank you. Now let's spar!".

Kimera slipped under the blanket in the room that Bulma had assigned to her: since, as she said, they were a family, the blue-haired woman had insisted for her to move in with them. Of course the Saiyan female had leapt at the chance to live under the same roof as her little brother once again after so many years apart from him, so here she was now, dressed only in a pale lilac nightgown borrowed from Bulma and ready to sleep in a soft, comfy bed for the first time in a decade.
She smiled to herself as she thought back on her first day on Earth: she had a lot of fun sparring with Goku, he was so strong that he really made her sweat and their fight had ended in a tie, not that either of them had minded. Then they had enjoyed the food and chatted with the others, who had turned out to be amazing people, friendly and nice…Well aside from Chi-Chi, she really was a bitch. But Bulma was cheerful and bubbly, Yamcha was quite a funny guy, Krillin was nice, Gohan was adorably shy, Yuri was a little smartass (but in a good sense), Goten and Trunks were two cute little rascals and Piccolo reminded her a bit of her brother with that 'silent and broody' aura of his.
Her eyelids grew increasingly heavy, she was about to fall asleep, when she felt a pair of strong arms embrace her from behind and she smiled as she recognized the energy of the person they belonged to, "Hey Gege. Feeling cuddly?", she teased. Vegeta just hugged her more tightly, hiding his face in her soft hair, "I missed you", he mumbled and she wrapped her tail gently around his thigh in the typical Saiyan gesture of affection. "I missed you too, so much". "I thought I had lost you, I thought I had lost everything", he murmured and she felt the pain in his voice, "First you, then Tarbles…And then our entire planet. I thought I had nothing left". "Tarbles is-".
"Our brother", he cut her off, "He was born four months after you were exiled", a faint smile curved his lips at the memory, "He was a little, scrawny thing. Physically he looked like me, but in personality he was just like you, always so cheerful, friendly and affectionate…But unlike you, he did not show any talent for fighting. He was fragile, his ki was weak and he was a complete pacifist. So father exiled him too, when he was barely older than a year old", his voice cracked, a fresh wave of sorrow hitting him: he remembered all too well that day, it was the second time he had cried himself to sleep at night, the first being when Kimera had been forced to leave.
"Father was a bastard", she replied and he gave a weak chuckle. "Yeah. It wasn't enough to take you away from me, he had to take away our little brother too. I just…I wish I knew what became of him…". "He's alive and well, Gege", his sister said and his eyes widened. "He is?". "Yeah. Remember that I said I travelled around after father kicked me out? Well, one day I was passing next to a small planet, when my stomach reminded me that I hadn't had food in a while, so I decided to stop there for a bit. The natives were very nice and friendly, but the thing that really got me was that, when they saw me, they said something like: 'hey, you got a tail like our king!'. So I knew right away that they had a Saiyan for a ruler".
"Many planets do", he noted and she nodded. "True, so you can see why I was a bit wary when they offered to take me to him. But then they said they would also give me food, so of course I followed them". Vegeta laughed, "Glad to see some things never change", he commented with an amused grin. "Hey, it had been a long journey. Anyway, we got to the throne room and imagine my surprise when I found myself in front of a young man that looked like a mini you! At first I thought it was you, but then I realized his energy felt different, so I asked him for his name and about his family and it turned out it was none other than the unborn baby brother I never got to meet at home. Odd thing is that he knew my name. Did you tell him about me?".
He nodded, a light blush on his cheeks, "I did. I had to be careful, of course: father had all but forbidden us to speak your name or even acknowledge your existence, but I always managed to find a few minutes to speak to Tarbles alone and I told him everything about you. I didn't think he would remember any of it, but I was ready to repeat it to him over and over again, as many times as necessary, so that he would know about our big sister". "You're so sweet", she took one of his hands in hers and kissed his knuckles, "Anyway, our little brother is alive, he's the king of the planet he lives on and he even has a wife named Gure. She's nice and cute, though I admit that your wife is more beautiful".
He smiled proudly, "Of course she is: I chose her to be my mate and I only choose the best", he boasted and his sister giggled. "You're right, some things never change". "What's that supposed to mean?". "That you're the same adorable, sweet and proud Gege that I remembered and have always loved with all my heart", she said softly and he blushed harder and hugged her tighter. "I love you too, Kime". "I know. Stay the night?". "Do you need to ask?". "I guess not. Do you want to suck on my tail too?", she teased him. "I- you- shut up!", he sputtered and she laughed. "Oh come on, it was so cute!".
"It…", he trailed off as he remembered that the same thing had happened to him with Tarbles: just like Vegeta as a baby, Tarbles couldn't sleep without his pacifier, but their father didn't want his children to depend on anything, so he destroyed it. And like the older brother had used his sister's tail as a replacement, Tarbles had used Vegeta's tail for the same purpose. The prince smiled to himself at the memory of his baby brother lying in his crib, the older Saiyan's tail clutched in his little hands as he sucked on it in his sleep.
"…I guess it was cute", he admitted, "Tarbles did the same with my own tail". "Aaaaawww! I wish I could have seen that". "So do I. I wish father had never sent any of you away". "Well, at least we're all still alive and kicking, that counts for something, right?". "I suppose so". "Come on now, get some sleep, Gege". "Fine. Goodnight, Kime". "Goodnight, little brother".
