"I can't believe you told Mona about the time you French kissed my nose!" Tony laughed as he handed a bowl of popcorn to Angela.

It was after dinner and they were in the living room getting ready to watch A Little House On The Prairie marathon. Mona was out on a date and Sam and Jonathan were over at friends.

Angela rolled her eyes. "Come on, it's not like she knew it was you!"

"I know. And I thought we agreed to keep it between us. I guess I was surprised you even mentioned it."

"Are you mad?"

"No, not mad. Just surprised."

"Well that's what you get for hiding behind the couch!" Angela grinned at him.

"You knew I was back there?"

"Come on Tony, your aftershave always gives you away!"

"Well I'll remember that for next time!" He winked at her.

"Oh really?" She raised her eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, I mean if I'm going to spy on you I can't have you knowing!"

Angela groaned and shook her head.

He turned on the T.V. and they both settled back with their popcorn.

"I still can't believe I French kissed your nose. It was so embarrassing!"

"Oh come on. It wasn't that bad."

"Ummm yeah it was"

"No, what was embarrassing was what my friend Bruce said."

"Oh yeah, the stopwatch taker!" Angela rolled her eyes. "So what did he say?"

"Well…"

FLASH BACK:

He wasn't sure how long they had been kissing. To be honest he really didn't care. This girl could kiss! It was like she had an extra set of lips. And her perfume? WOW! Unfortunately , he knew they couldn't kiss forever so he reluctantly pulled away.

"So ummm would you like to sit and talk for a while?"

"Okay." She said shyly.

They leaned back against the rock and smiled at each other.

"Pretty night." she said softly.

"Yeah, it is," he said, gazing at her. "So ummm what's your name?"

"Ingrid."

"Nice to meet you Ingrid. I'm Anthony."

"Nice to meet you too Anthony."

"So where are you from?"

"Connecticut. How about you?"

"Brooklyn."

"Any brothers or sisters?"

"Nope, just me!"

"Same here. Do you wish you had some?"

"Yeah, sometimes I think it would be fun. But in Brooklyn there are so many kids to hang around with it's like you already have brothers and sisters."

"That sounds nice."

"It is. So what about your parents? What does your Dad do for a living?"

"He owns a bank."

"Wow! That's cool."

'What about yours?"

"He drives a garbage truck. I know it's not very glamorous or anything but he loves doing it."

"That's good. And as my Father would say he's doing an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. "

"That he is. So how about your Mom? Does she work?"

"Nope! She is a lady of leisure as she likes to put it. How about your Mom?"

He looked down at the ground and sighed. After a minute he looked back at her.

"UMMM she died a few years ago."

"Oh Anthony I'm so sorry!"

"Thanks."

"So it's just you and your Dad now?"

"And my Grandpa. He moved in to help Dad and me."

"That must have been comforting having your Grandpa move in with you."

"It is now. But not at first."

"Really why?"

"Well he wasn't my Mom."

"Yeah, that makes sense." She looked over at him. He looked so pensive. Before she could even think she was leaning over to kiss him. To her embarrassment she French kissed his nose!

"Oh my God! I can't believe I just did that!" she gasped.

"Hey it's okay. These things happen." he shrugged.

"Yeah, only to me!" she groaned. Her face was turning red.

"You know you're cute when you blush." he smiled at her which of course only made her blush more.

"Thank you!" she smiled at him. "Well I better be going.

"Okay. Have a good night Ingrid."

"You too Anthony."

They smiled at each other once more then she turned and walked away.

"Hey! Is she gone?!" a voice whispered from the bushes.

"What? Oh yeah." He had forgotten that his friend Bruce had been hiding in the bushes with a stopwatch.

"Thank goodness! My legs were cramping back there! " He came out of the bushes shaking his legs. "GEEZ Micelli I thought the two of you would never stop talking."

"Well she's easy to talk to."

Bruce rolled his eyes. "You were just supposed to kiss the girl, not have a meaningful conversation."

"I was being a gentleman like my Dad and Grandpa have always told me."

"Yeah yeah whatever!" he shook his head." I mean it's not like you're going to ever see her again."

"I know."

"She'll probably forget all about you in a few weeks."

"Gee thanks!" Anthony said, shooting him a dirty look.

"Hey, I'm just stating the obvious. It's not like you're destined to be together and you're going to marry her one day."

"All right I get the picture!"

"So aren't you curious about how long you two kissed?"

"Yeah, of course I am. So, how long?"

"57 seconds!"

"Wow!"

"Yeah, I think it might be a new record."

Anthony rolled his eyes.

"Well, we better get back."

"You go on ahead. "

"Okay." Bruce turned and began walking back to their camp.

Anthony looked up at the moon and sighed. He knew Bruce was right. Ingrid would probably forget all about him. But, he knew he would never forget about her. He had to do something to remember this night. Suddenly an idea came to him. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a knife, He knelt down and carved: ANTHONY AND INGRID in the rock.

"Well Ingrid. I'll never forget you. I hope you won't forget me either. " He traced the carving with his fingers. "I hope you have a good life." He stood back up.

"Good bye Ingrid." he said softly. He looked at the carving once more then turned and walked away.

END FLASHBACK

"You really said that after you carved our names in the rock?"

"Well yeah, I mean I knew I would never forget you and I hoped you wouldn't forget me."

"You did forget my name, you know." she teased him.

"Yeah yeah! But I never forgot YOU. " he smiled at her."I mean how could I forget my first kiss with a girl with an extra set of lips?"

"Tony!" she giggled, her face turning beet red.

"You know you are cute when you blush!"
