The Princess Groom
Ch.19: King David
As my glasses faded, I recalled what Lucifer had told me the night I met him.
"When you transform" he had said. "You will feel as if you can lift the world. Your eyes will be straight, and the magic will grant you a change of dress, height, and weight."
I was feeling powerful. I smiled at Charlie. "Ready Charlie for me?"
She giggled. "Of course!"
Vaggie got out a camera. Naturally, Lucifer was filming.
I closed my eyes, now floating in the air. I gasped, feeling my shoes change to cowboy boots. My shorts changed to sharp dress pants. My shirt to a red muscle shirt. A white cloak was around me. It was ingrained with the quote "Be friendly but have a plan to kill everyone you meet."
Even more insane was my height. My legs grew as I now would stand at six foot nine, an inch taller than Angel. My weight was about 170. And I had broad shoulders.
I dropped to the floor, smiling. Lucifer grinned. "That...Is what I meant all those months ago."
I nodded. Charlie looked hot. I walked over to her, chuckling as Nifty fainted. "Someone set her on the couch" I said in my new British like accent, not unlike V. Charlie giggled, reaching up to stroke my face.
I dipped down, kissing her. She gasped, smiling.
We were all living in the seas of change. As I write this now, a year after the wedding, I realize how truly amazing this has all been. Lilith's wedding surprise, for example, was for her to be a surrogate mother for Charlie. Charlie cried hard that night.
Even in struggle, everything has a destination. For so long, I wondered what mine was. But I found it now. Some call me the prince. But I am of one connection in this tale.
I am the Princess Groom.
The End.
